Iowa is essentially irrelevant for the GOPe candidate and never part of any plan for Jeb Bush.  The same was true in ’11/’12 for Romney who basically ignored the state rather than spend all the necessary schmooze time. (Santorum won in ’12)  In recent elections Iowa has not been favorable for the establishment teams.

But for Scott Walker, Iowa is a regional necessity if he is to remain a viable candidate.  Thus the latest Iowa poll displays a troubling reality.
In July Walker was pulling 12% in Iowa, that dropped to 8% weeks later in the Des Moines Register poll; a few days later Walker registered 7% in the Monmouth Univ. Poll; now he’s down to 3% in the latest Quinnipiac result. 12,.. 8,.. 7,.. 3,… well, you can see the problem. (more…)

(Via Daily Mail) Federal investigators targeted top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin last year after they learned that she was paid for time she didn’t work during the former secretary of state’s time in office – but Abedin blamed her husband, the disgraced former Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner.
Abedin, who was Clinton’s deputy chief of staff for four years, explained a series of inappropriate overtime payments, excessive hours, and repeated leaves of absence as the products of Weiner’s poor record-keeping. She was even paid for eight hours work on the day she was in labor. (more…)

This Rolling Stone controversy is a brilliant opportunity to highlight how subtle, yet brutally obvious, presented broadcast media bias can be when combined with ideological opportunism.

Donald Trump said on Thursday the author of the interview, Paul Solotaroff, called to apologize for the way it was edited:

“The writer actually called me and said, ‘I’m so upset, I wrote this great story and [publisher] Jann Wenner screwed it up’ — he told me that,” Trump said on CNN’s “New Day.” “They added a lot of stuff, a lot of garish stuff, that I think is disgusting.” (link)

The author of the article, Solotaroff, appeared on CNN with Anderson Cooper and was questioned about this assertion by Trump.  The author appears to deny the assertion, however if you really listen to his answer, and accept his situation, you recognize there’s validity and affirmation to what Trump is claiming  – you just need to understand the context. Obviously CNN adding space for Carly Fiorina so she can participate in the debate on behalf of the GOPe agenda to create space for Jeb.
Meanwhile the MEDIA onslaught against Trump continues.  Both Salem Media Communications (religious and politically ideological right) and Main Stream Media (anti-religion and politically ideological left) are aligned on behalf of all their collective financial interests to remove the threat to their politically driven power structure.

Donald Trump couldn’t ask for better polling results than what became evident today.  In addition to pulling away with a 32% lead, he’s extending his trend to continue pulling away – and Trump is also leading in the second choice category, which means he automatically is carrying reserve fuel to push his polling even higher.  (Full Poll pdf below)

Conversely the numbers for Wall Street, the U.S. CoC and the RNC/GOPe via Jeb Bush are devastating.   Jeb Bush is polling single digits in the 10th consecutive poll – this is completely unsustainable for the GOPe road map, and completely unacceptable for the money groups behind him.  Again, desperation abounds….

Will this finally be the tipping point where people recognize that Glenn Beck is an unstable, self-centered nutter?  Too soon to tell.  It will be interesting to see how his partner Dana Loesch responds/aligns on this.
Last year it was the insufferable “Soccer Ball and Teddy Bear Tour” for illegal aliens.  In February of this year he stated he swore off the Republican party forever and would never return.  Now Beck mounts a full-throated attack against Sarah Palin…..  As previously stated, the Donald Trump campaign is putting a spotlight on the festering underbelly of corporatist political media.  Beck being a big part of that.
