Candidate Ben Carson’s support for Obama Trade (TPP) is a massive divergence from most conservatives and now puts him in direct opposition to Donald Trump.

(Via Wall Street Journal) Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson said Friday that he supports the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement negotiated by the White House – aligning himself more with the GOP’s establishment wing than with the social conservatives who have powered his campaign.

Mr. Carson’s backing of the 12-nation Pacific trade deal places him at odds with Donald Trump, his chief rival for support among anti-establishment Republicans. Mr. Carson had expressed skepticism about the TPP, saying in a June interview with the Huffington Post that he would not give President Barack Obama “fast-track” authority to negotiate the deal. The latest CNN/ORC poll from Iowa (full pdf below) shows Donald Trump remaining in the lead despite various prior efforts within agenda-polling to highlight a divergent narrative.  Trump leads in all categories of voter concern: ♦ Economy ♦ Illegal Immigration ♦ Foreign Policy ♦ Medicare and Social Security.

Ben Carson leads on “social issues”: Abortion and Same-Sex Marriage. Ben Carson remains in second place which seems to belay the concern that Carson’s opposition to federal corn subsidies (outlined in prior debate) would diminish support.

Marco Rubio continues to retain benefit from “Operation Hummingbird”; however, the evident weakness in Rubio’s ability can be measured against the visibility of the Chris Christie insurance policy being called to action by MSM/GOPe operatives.   Ted Cruz is positioned to take most of Carson’s evangelical supporters if collapse occurs. Washington Free Beacon reports on a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) signed by Hillary Clinton accepting legal responsibility for protecting sensitive and classified information.

WASHINGTON DC –  As the nation’s chief diplomat, Hillary Clinton was responsible for ascertaining whether information in her possession was classified and acknowledged that “negligent handling” of that information could jeopardize national security, according to a copy of an agreement she signed upon taking the job.

A day after assuming office as secretary of state, Clinton signed a Sensitive Compartmented Information Nondisclosure Agreement that laid out criminal penalties for “any unauthorized disclosure” of classified information.

Experts have guessed that Clinton signed such an agreement, but a copy of her specific contract, obtained by the Competitive Enterprise Institute through an open records request and shared with the Washington Free Beacon, reveals for the first time the exact language of the NDA. (more…)

This is important and those who understand the TPP deal need to begin pressuring your congress creeps immediately.   President Obama has delivered the required “Notice of Intent” letter to congress.

The White House is legally bound to tell congress they intend to enter into a trade-deal.  Obama has just made the text available to the public. In 60 days he can sign the agreement and send trade agreement to Congress for debate, vote and approval.  Congress is allowed 90 days for debate after presidential signature.  The letter below officially starts the clock.

President Obama is hoping to use Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year holidays as strategic tools to run out the clock on any efforts to provide WH pushback on the anti-American deal:

The next Republican Debate is presented by Fox Business News in conjunction with Rupert Murdoch’s The Wall Street Journal. 

The FNB debate(s) are supposed to focus on jobs, taxes and the general health of the economy, as well as domestic and international policy issues.  The first debate begins at 6PM/ET, and the prime-time debate airs at 9PM/ET, Tuesday November 10th.

The debates will air live from the Milwaukee Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (info)

If ever the media needed evidence of why the vast majority of Americans despise their profession you only need to look as far as Des Moines Register reporter Brianne Pfannenstiel, and the agenda she displays as she carries out her assignment.

Ms. Pfannenstiel is assigned to cover the campaigns of Donald Trump and Lindsey Graham, and apparently she views part of that responsibility to research and broadcast who is donating to the campaigns.  She then ridicules donors publicly through social media.

Obviously Ms. Pfannenstiel went out of her way to look up the federal election campaign filings for donors to the Donald Trump campaign and then took to social media to highlight the name, address, contribution amount and belittle the $250 contributor.
