The latest five day rolling average Reuters Poll:

We have previously outlined the approach the Karl Rove/Lee Atwater GOPe types will use to take down Ted Cruz. –HERE– Cruz supporters are intensely committed to avoid vetting him and this presents a serious issue because when you don’t confront the problems you set yourself up for severe failure.

The approach of “proselytizing as an electoral strategy” will bring money from intensely religious followers – but can never win a broad based election. The following article from 2013 highlights how the GOPe will bring down Cruz as soon as his usefulness is expired.
[2013 – TEXAS] In a sermon last year at an Irving, Texas, megachurch that helped elect Ted Cruz to the United States Senate, Cruz’ father Rafael Cruz indicated that his son was among the evangelical Christians who are anointed as “kings” to take control of all sectors of society, an agenda commonly referred to as the “Seven Mountains” mandate, and “bring the spoils of war to the priests”, thus helping to bring about a prophesied “great transfer of wealth”, from the “wicked” to righteous gentile believers.

The Washington Post writes about how the traditional influenciers of all things republican are choosing to back away from prior plans to attack Donald Trump.
… […] The political network backed by the billionaire Koch brothers has no plans to take on Trump. American Crossroads, the super PAC co-founded by strategist Karl Rove, is steering clear and fixated on Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton instead. Right to Rise, the super PAC backing Jeb Bush, is not gearing up to attack Trump either. And major Republican donors, such as hedge-fund manager Paul Singer and the Ricketts family, have shown no interest in supporting the few organizations trying to undercut him. (link)
Apparently, the GOPe are now gun-shy and accepting the old axiom: “that which doesn’t kill Trump, only makes him stronger“, Unfortunately for the GOPe – Trump is well beyond strong.

Doug Ross also writes about how Thankful he is for the GOPe to have exposed themselves in this election cycle. (more…)
The 2010 SCOTUS ‘Citizens United’ decision injected unlimited financial funding into politics via Super-PACs. Conservatives were screwed, but it took most a long time to come to the awakening. As a direct result the broader electorate was non longer needed for financial support – evidenced in the 2012 and 2014 campaign spending cycles.
More specifically this unlimited Wall Street spending influence is the root cause of several current presidential candidates remaining in the race.
Without Super-PACs funded by Hedge Funds, Billionaire Globalists, and self-interested corporations: Carly Fiorina, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, John Kasich, Lindsey Graham, Mike Huckabee, Jim Gilmore and George Pataki would not currently be in the race.
Similarly, Jeb Bush would be soon to exit, and either Ben Carson or Ted Cruz, but not both, would be candidates.
Now Mitch McConnell is moving to put the GOPe Party back into direct control via a new proposal to remove campaign limits and allow Wall Street to fund Republicans directly without going through SuperPacs.
The basic problem is the removal of financial dependency by the electorate they are supposed to represent. The voter influence has already been replaced (Citizens United), the consideration now is who gets to be the arbiter/broker of the financial power. (more…)

COLD ANGER – A religious-freedom advocacy group has filed its second grievance in as many weeks with the Army, again demanding that imagery featuring a red crucifix be removed from Army signage — and this time, insisting the aviation unit involved change its logo and its nickname.
The logo of Echo Company, 1st Battalion, 212th Aviation Regiment, based at Fort Rucker, Alabama, contains “blatantly unconstitutional Christian Crusader imagery” and should be discontinued immediately, Military Religious Freedom Foundation president and founder Mikey Weinstein wrote Monday in an email addressed to Maj. Gen. Michael Lundy, commanding general of Fort Rucker and the Army Aviation Center of Excellence.
Weinstein, an Air Force Academy graduate whose MRFF claims more than 40,000 active-duty clients across the military, also demanded the unit cease using the name “Crusaders,” which he called “incredibly offensive and unconstitutional.” (more…)
What’s that they say about “Apples and Trees”? Ivanka Trump is a very sharp, classically elegant, and intensely poised person – a great representative for her family and her own values.
This year we taxpayers get yet another round of usurpation from the Progressive Republican GOPe critters, led now by Paul Ryan, who infect the spending body.
SPEAKER Ryan and his team of spending enthusiasts is getting ready to “bail out”, meaning give, the ObamaCare health insurance carriers an influx of EVEN MORE money:
WASHINGTON DC – […] Negotiators are not close to a deal but are looking seriously at the framework discussed by Senate Finance Committee member Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y., and House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., when the latter served as Ways and Means chair, tax lobbyists and House staffers said. The two lawmakers were unable to agree on the level of funding for highway programs, and negotiations stalled.
A new YouGov/Economist Poll (full pdf below) of 2000 national respondents shows Donald Trump with a commanding lead, and beating all GOP rivals in head-to-head matchups.
For the first time Pollsters asked the respondents head-to-head comparisons between Trump, Carson, Cruz and Rubio. The results eliminate yet another promoted myth:

Head-To-Head […] The New York billionaire would defeat Rubio and Cruz by the same margin of 57 percent to 43 percent, and would defeat Carson by a margin of 60 to 40 percent, according to the poll.
The finding is a blow to the hopes of some Republican elites who argue that Trump’s stubborn lead in the race will dissipate once the field winnows and a more mainstream alternative rises (read more).
There is only one acceptable candidate for what people call the “establishment republicans” (abbreviated the “GOPe”), and that candidate remains Jeb Bush.
Regardless of how low his polling goes, Jeb will remain their guy. All other candidates, except Trump, are factored into the equation of control contained within the original construct of the GOPe road map.

Tens of millions in advanced promotional GOPe ad-buys await the new year, the latest count was somewhere North of $70 million.
The splitter Super-PACs, currently focusing on the elimination of Donald Trump, have ad buys extended through Christmas,. and a half million dollar ad buy extension through the first two weeks of January.
With the rise of candidate Donald Trump the GOPe initially moderated their plan and famously required Trump to sign a GOP Pledge. However, they had a bigger problem.
