Catching up on some recent punditry – interesting conversation:
Many people have discussed the risks of putting all your viable candidacy eggs in the evangelical basket. An article via CNN outlines a group of Super-PACs and donor interests who are now setting Ted Cruz in the cross hairs.
This CNN article highlights one of the biggest challenges for any candidate who is unable to build a broad and diverse base of support. Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Ben Carson, Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee are all relying heavily on Iowa voters. Similarly, Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, John Kasich, and again, Marco Rubio (firewall) are dependent on success with New Hampshire voters.

Meanwhile the breakaway frontrunner, Donald Trump, targets America-first voters, the biggest, strongest and most broad base of them all.
Washington (CNN) – Ted Cruz, staring at hundreds of thousands of dollars in negative advertisements against him in Iowa that show only signs of growing, is battling to keep pace there with his most aggressive push yet to maintain his momentum in the Hawkeye State. (more…)
A recent article in the Washington Post about “raids to deport illegal alien families” seeks to create a political narrative, perhaps even a Trump-effect as the story line. However, it’s not a matter of Trump – or even federal judge Andrew Hannen – the affect is rule of law.

[…] The ICE operation would target only adults and children who have already been ordered removed from the United States by an immigration judge, according to officials familiar with the undertaking, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because planning is ongoing and the operation has not been given final approval by DHS. The adults and children would be detained wherever they can be found and immediately deported. The number targeted is expected to be in the hundreds and possibly greater. (link)
Almost everything following that paragraph above -in the severely slanted Washington Post outline- is factually false, presented entirely with left-wing ideological underpinnings.
Despite the ineptitude and abject stupidity of the current congress, led by amnesty-aligned Republicans, there is a pesky problem for DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson regarding border enforcement and deportation – that pesky problem is actual law needing to be enforced. (more…)
This random supporter video is nicely put together:
It’s been fully revealed now that Ted Cruz is spending millions on psychological campaigning. Including the use of: “psychographic” analyses of voters to try to win them over with narrowly targeted micro-messages”, funded by Robert Mercer and Breitbart.Com
However, recently, and entirely accidentally, a brilliant reverse operation has begun to deconstruct the “Crass Vulgarian Trump” narrative. The inherent subliminal messaging conveyed in this video is, well, brilliant:
None of the words are changed, yet many observers note how their impression of the content instantaneously changes. (more…)
“I owe nothing to anybody. The only one I owe is to the American people. I’m going to do a great job for them.”
~ Donald J. Trump
Oh noes, the MSM is shape-shifting, catching on, finding the trail, waking up, honing in…. It Appears they’ve dug up the change in the cushions, borrowed $250, bought a vowel, now they have a clue. Yikes...
This entirely sucks, because it could mean it’s only a matter of time before they tell the pundits. …Snap!
Then all heck will break loose when they realize what we’ve been up to for the past seven months. Um, hey chief, chief, CHIEF,.. I mean, Donald, um,… Mr. Trump… it might be time to readjust that game-plan thing, they’re on to us! I knew the “schlong” thing was a risk… On noes, damn, damn, damn… Quick – get Bluto and Jello, STAT.
(Via LA Times) Louise Sunshine, a former New York lobbyist and real estate executive, has known Donald Trump for more than 40 years. She shared a small office with Trump just as his career as a developer began to take off. She helped him cajole politicians for tax breaks on his first buildings. (more…)
When the Frontrunner holds more support than the next three candidates combined you have reached the inevitability threshold !
Everything about this CNN poll (full pdf below), and the internals showing Donald Trump as most favored/best candidate on every issue, is terrific for Team Trump. This poll, in combination with the Reuters poll, also shows how false the agenda-driven Quinnipiac Poll was earlier in the week.
In addition to absolute dominance by candidate Trump, is the aspect of Jeb Bush dropping to seventh place. If other national polls affirm a similar position for Bush, he could be dropped from the main-stage debate and replaced by Rand Paul.

[…] Trump’s standing in the race for the nomination is bolstered by widely held trust that he can best handle the top issues facing the nation. Trump holds massive advantages over the rest of the field as the candidate best able to handle the: ♦ economy (57% Trump, his next closest competitors are Cruz at 8%, Rubio at 7%, Carson at 6% and Bush at 5%), ♦ illegal immigration (55% trust Trump, followed by Cruz at 15%, Rubio at 10%), and ♦ ISIS (47% prefer Trump, 21% Cruz, 7% Bush and 6% Christie).
Here’s the historical trend for this specific poll: (more…)
The five day rolling Reuters poll shows a consistent trend line for Donald Trump with 36.7%. However, a slight dip for Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio which might be a direct result of their MSM combat over immigration stances.
Overall, Donald Trump remains in a tier quite some distance from the rest of the field (Poll Data Here)

Correct me if my interpretation of this newly released Fox News standard is not correct, but it looks like only six candidates will be included in the main stage debate the rest dropping to the second-tier.
At current polling standards, these qualifiers would put: Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Carson, Bush and Christie on the main event stage.

(Via FNB) The debates will factor in both national polls, as well as those based in Iowa and New Hampshire conducted and released prior to Monday, January 11 at 6 p.m./ET. The primetime debate will feature candidates that place in the top six nationally, and place within the top five in Iowa or New Hampshire, while the remaining candidates will be invited to the early debate.
