Gravis Marketing conducted one of the few polls of Delaware taken in this election cycle.  The poll released today shows Donald Trump with a commanding lead of 55%, which is 37 points ahead of the second place candidate John Kasich 18%.  Senator Ted Cruz is in last place with only 15% support.

Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 1,038 likely Republican Primary voters and 1,026 likely Democratic Primary voters.  The poll has a margin of error of ± 3.0% for Republicans  (link)

Donald Trump has won the New York Republican primary with 60.5%, and becomes the first Republican Candidate to win his Home State with a majority vote of the state electorate.

[ Ted Cruz won Texas with 44% and John Kasich won Ohio with 47% ]

First, the math – Going into last night Donald Trump carried 758 delegates and Ted Cruz 554.  Last night, Donald Trump won 90 delegates, Cruz won -0- (link).

• Today Donald Trump carries 848 Delegates, and Ted Cruz still has 554.  There are 674 delegates remaining.
• It is now mathematically impossible for voters to nominate Ted Cruz.  Cruz would need 683 delegates and there are only 674 remaining available.
• Donald Trump needs 389 of the remaining 674 delegates to reach 1,237 and clinch the nomination.

Candidate Donald Trump has opened new offices in the state of Oregon:

[…]  A group of Donald Trump supporters were watching that primary unfold from west Eugene. The event marks the grand opening of the Donald Trump Campaign Headquarters, on the corner of 7th Place and Wilson Street. This is one of several offices throughout the state. There’s also offices in Portland and Salem.

They’re hoping to open others in Bend and Medford next. Volunteers will be making calls and going door-to-door to spread awareness about the Trump campaign. They said they’ve already started making calls, but the call center will officially be up and running Wednesday.  (read more)

♦ 81 district delegates are to be allocated to presidential contenders based on the primary results in each of the 27 congressional districts: each congressional district is assigned 3 National Convention delegates and the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in that district -if over 50%- will receive all 3 of that district’s National Convention delegates. If winner falls below 50%: winner gets two, runner up gets one (minimum threshold 20%)

♦ 14 at-large delegates (10 base at-large delegates plus 1 bonus delegates plus 3 RNC delegates) are to be bound to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in the primary statewide.

Presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz had a full apoplectic meltdown today.  During a radio appearance an unhinged Senator Cruz began lashing out and screaming at Sean Hannity.  (full audio below)   The internet lit up as people discussed the on-air meltdown wondering what could have possibly triggered such grossly unstable behavior.
Apparently the answer is found in this picture from Senator Cruz’s rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Only a few dozen people showed up to hear candidate Cruz – in a city home to over 1.6 million people.

UPDATE:  It appears the Cruz campaign is trying to hide from such a horrible optic.

SNAPSHOT: The “Authenticity Issue” is now crushing Ted Cruz

PPP has released a new poll from Maryland (full pdf below).  The top-line results are very good for candidate Donald Trump, but the internal results are even better.
Donald Trump is viewed as most favorable and retains increased polling popularity among all voters, winning every demographic, including women voters who rate his favorability (57%)  far above Ted Cruz (33%).  In addition Donald Trump easily beats Cruz and Kasich in head-to-head matchups.

Head To Head:  Trump 54% -vs- Cruz 34%

Key Point – In addition 90% of Trump supporters are solidly committed to his election.  Conversely, 51% of Cruz supporters and 47% of Kasich supporters said they are not committed and willing to change their vote to Donald Trump.
