The ‘America-First’ Compassion Ticket Heads To Louisiana

Campaigning in North Carolina today, candidate Donald Trump began his campaign remarks by speaking about the horrific devastation in Louisiana:

[…] We are one nation. When one state hurts, we all hurt – and we must all work together to lift each other up. Working, building, restoring together.

Our prayers are with the families who have lost loved ones, and we send them our deepest condolences. Though words cannot express the sadness one feels at times like this, I hope everyone in Louisiana knows that our country is praying for them and standing with them to help them in these difficult hours. (Transcript of Prepared Remarks) Thank you. It’s great to be here in Charlotte. I just met with our many amazing employees right up the road at our property.

I’d like to take a moment to talk about the heartbreak and devastation in Louisiana, a state that is very special to me.

We are one nation.

We are one country, one people, and we will have together one great future.

The Iranian government specifically said –and broadcast on their television network (Feb)– a $400 million cash payment to them from the U.S. was a successfully extorted ransom payment to secure the release of American hostages.

However, on August 4th, the White House immediately claimed the $400 million cash payment made as part of the “Iran Deal” was not a ransom payment to secure the release of the U.S. hostages.  President Obama went on television to state: “no ransom was paid”:

Forget the classless, inappropriate and tacky aspect for a moment.  This is a stunning lack of customer privacy for any professional business entity.  Typical liberalism on display.

(Via Daily Mail) After the 34-year-old [Ivanka Trump] ordered an $84 gold Helix Ear Cuff from Lady Grey Jewelry‘s website, the brand’s co-founders and designers, Jill Martinelli and Sabine Le Guyader, took to the company’s Instagram page on Tuesday to share a photo of the handwritten note they sent to Ivanka.

The Iowa State Fair has a booth where attendees are given the opportunity to cast their vote on the 2016 presidential race by placing a corn kernel in a jar.

The poll is obviously unscientific; however, nor is it manipulated by the media, it simply is an opportunity for fair goers to show who they are supporting in the upcoming presidential race.

The fair is in day #5 and 43,702 people have visited the WHO TV Channel 13 News Booth to register their opinion. Here are the results so far:

Donald Trump continues to give local media close access during each campaign event.  In many ways this is another method to work around the ‘national’ corporate media.

These interviews don’t get as much national attention, however they are effective with the local constituencies.  WKBT Wisconsin:
