Yesterday John Kerry was refused an audience with the true Egyptian democracy movement who oppose the Islamist President Mohammed Morsi –  The opposition party is profoundly disappointed with the Obama administration who now openly supports the Muslim Brotherhood.   The Coptic Christians continue to be persecuted by Morsi and his Islamist government.

The Federal Government ordered almost 2 billion rounds of ammunition.   They ordered targets looking like average armed citizens.  They are conducting military style exercises in urban areas.  North Carolina police say they are practicing for martial law.

The show is down 27% in total viewers and 38% in the demo from its debut in Jan. 17^th, 2011.

Piers Morgan Tonight also had the lowest demo in its time slot and was even beat by HLN’s Dr. Drew (with 208,000).  (read more)

MARYLANDISTAN –  7-year-old Maryland boy was suspended from school for two days for shaping a breakfast pastry into what his teacher thought looked like a gun, according to his father.

FoxBaltimore.com reports that Josh Welch, a second-grader at Park Elementary School in Baltimore, was eating a strawberry tart when he decided to shape it into a mountain.

“All I was trying to do was turn it into a mountain but, it didn’t look like a mountain really and it turned out to be a gun [kind of],” Josh told the station. (more…)

Presidential pardons always represent somewhat of a conundrum.   While I actually agree with the pardon in this case because it is a freedom principle, this one seems particularly odd against the backdrop of Obama’s current gun restriction proposals. In essence he’s now pardoning a man who was convicted of the same crimes he’s proclaiming need to be more strictly enforced?

WASHINGTON DC – President Obama issued his first series of presidential pardons today, including one for a man who was convicted of possession of an unregistered firearm.

Larry Wayne Thornton of Forsyth, Ga., was sentenced to four years of probation for “possession of an unregistered firearm” and “possession of a firearm without a serial number.”

He is one of 17 people pardoned today.

The pardon comes as Obama is emphasizing, as part of his gun control push, the need to know who is buying weapons. (more…)

Daryl Hannah must be seriously wounded

WASHINGTON DC – TransCanada’s Keystone XL pipeline will not harm the environment, the State Department — in a blow to environmentalists who want to block the project — wrote in a newly-drafted report on the latest proposed route.

“[T]he draft Supplemental EIS concludes that approval or denial of the proposed Project is unlikely to have a substantial impact on the rate of development in the oil sands, or on the amount of heavy crude oil refined in the Gulf Coast area,” the State Department draft report says, as Think Progress noted. Let me tell you what the “real” long, and short-term, goal of the Fabian Socialist progressives is.   The economy, right now, is naturally about to seriously contract.   All of the signs are there:   Wal-Mart is reporting massive drops in same store sales, restaurants are reporting the same, durable goods orders are the lowest in decades, Obamacare is forcing restructuring and lay-offs of small and medium-sized business payrolls.  Etc…. etc.

All of the KPI indicators, including the revised 3rd and 4th qtr GDP numbers point to a new recession – it just has not been quantified yet.   But.It.Is.Here.    

This is known to economists and the White House.  What President Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are doing is creating an argument to deflect attention from their failed economic policy – They are going to use the faux sequester impact to deflect away, and explain, their new recession.    That is the current strategy and the overarching goal;  Avoidance for the consequences of their creation.  Make it look like it’s the other guys fault.   (more…)

Planes won’t fly, the prisons will empty, 170 quadrillion people will be laid-off, Schools will close, the fireman will be fired, police will stop working, satellites will be dropping out of orbit, polar ice-caps will melt and vacation resorts will start kicking people out of hotel rooms.   But that’s not all…. now we find out men will randomly begin beating their wives because they can get away with it.    Who knew?

WASHINGTON DC – Rep. Donna Edwards (D-Md.) said that if the sequester goes into effect, women who are victims of domestic violence will be “forced to stay in their homes with their abuser” at the “hands of the GOP.”

The automatic across-the-board cuts, known as the sequester, are set to take effect on Friday – a 1.2% reduction in increased federal spending in 2013, or about $44 billion out of $3.6 trillion. (more…)
