Interestingly, as expected, the various social media platforms and internet connectivity therein are sketchy and intermittent as the critical USA midterm election nears.
As we have done in the past, today we solicit reader feedback on the sentiment in/around your area as the midterm election nears. What is your local sense of the tone, voter intent, enthusiasm or lack therein, in the last 72 hours before election day on Tuesday.
This request comes with a very important and specific qualifier, DO NOT USE social media to gauge or report your sense of where things stand. The reasoning is simple; the algorithm you are exposed to is not necessarily the reality of your environment. The information being fed into the data system that holds your specific attributes, is purchased and created specifically to provide you a specific sense.
Whether you realize it or not, your algorithm is the culmination of specific identifiable definitions of your personage and your interests. That algorithm id may or may not represent you, but it is sold and used in order to influence your decision-making on a variety of aspects from commerce (purchasing decisions) to behavioral modification (influences).
As a consequence, the best view of the reality in your vicinity is what you personally experience in real life, not during your travels on the internet. With that thought in mind, what is your sense of the voting intent in/around your proximity?
From my own travels what I can identify with ease is the promoted narrative about abundant enthusiasm for leftist candidates is mostly false. I cannot identify any substantive enthusiasm to vote for the communist agenda of the Democrat Socialists or any other manufactured policy of the political left in real life.
Sure, online and in the media, there is a specific pipeline of information operating at maximum output to promote a blue wave premise. However, in real life -during my travels- I do not see that same level of enthusiasm claimed by oppositional advocates.
To the contrary, the datapoints and behavior of the political left indicate they are ‘trying’ to generate the illusion of something, as well as create some self-fulfilling prophecies. The appearances of President Obama in Detroit on behalf of Al-Sayed is an example. Obama is only deployed to get out the black vote. If the Muslim Brotherhood candidate was ahead in Michigan, Obama simply wouldn’t be there.
Additionally, the proverbial lawn sign indicators do not lend favor to a blue wave narrative.
That said, Georgia and Texas will be interesting to watch play out. Both of those states have been targeted by the various BLM, and DSA level operatives for several years. However, while they have succeeded in Georgia, they have not had a similar success in Texas – despite the lone star state being specifically vulnerable due to the Bush camp’s comfort with the larger socialist cause.
President Trump, DHS, ICE, DOJ and HSI have done all they can to trigger fear amid the professional population of election operatives who deploy fraudulent ballot operations as part of their electoral strategy. The Lawfare alliance has been spending billions to counteract this election integrity operation. It is yet to be determined which one will ultimately end up tipping the scale amid the various illegal voter systems.
What we can judge with some accuracy is the sense in our vicinity. What is the intent of our family. What do our neighbors say. What is the sense within our local community. These are measures of real sentiments that can be adequately assembled to provide a larger predictive sense.
Taking the social media network and subsequent algorithmic feed out of the equation, what is the reality of the sentiment in your area as best it can be judged?

I want to take this opportunity to express our thanks, respect, and admiration for our host Sundance. It’s been 11 years since President Trump came down the elevator as the government was becoming a stage 4 crisis – we’ve been on this journey a long time together – it’s been hard on all of us, and I imagine very difficult on Sundance.
Some of you might remember a Post of mine where I compared SD to Rush Limbaugh in his ability to see the facts then extrapolate the mechanics and outcomes accurately and immediately. We just got another perfect example with the NYT, Peltola situation. It just poured out of him naturally as if the rest of us were seeing it too, Amazing.
Spiritually very interesting how Rush had to reside in the domain of the General while Sundance resides in the domain of the Specific – (which requires a mountain of work to present content).
I know SD wouldn’t have it any other way as long as he can continue to stimulate Free-Speech, because that’s what we have to have more than anything else!
Sundance is up there with the greats, Thankyou Sir
Sundance is the best. 🏆
seconded
Well said. My sentiments exactly. I have been on this journey with Sundance and CTH since 2015. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I depend on SD’s wisdom, experience and practical, down-to-earth explanations. He makes clear what I might ordinarily muddle through without fully comprehending the implications!
Thank you Sundance! I don’t thank you often enough, but I treasure and appreciate you and the entire CTH community.
Tennessee. Red State. Small town; mostly rural. Most of my friends and neighbors voted early – straight Republican. Social Media that is Local is funny. If any Leftists post, they get hammered by the Locals. There are many many Democrats here, but many are voting Republican due to the insanity on the Left.
Encouraging. Let’s hope it’s a microcosm
Sundance,… of course you are right, very hard to tell what is up, so much manipulation going on. I personally, don’t know what to think.
I did notice, you didn’t share what it is like around where you are? Interesting.
But I have no idea what it is really like around me either. Is this the confusion of the “FOG of WAR”.
I will come back to the thread , later, and see what people say.
The only things I’ve noticed is that we had a clear and cool Halloween night, but not many trick or treaters, even compared to years past where it’s been raining.
Also, my oldest, apolitical son who is never interested in voting came and picked up his ballot (all mail Washington state here). He told me this election is important. Didn’t pursue it further.
The Democratic (sic) party made voting easy for me with regard to the WA state initiatives. They sent me a giant postcard, telling me on what initiatives i should vote “No.” Interesting how not ALL of the initiatives were addressed by the Dems – only those from which they might benefit:)
Received similar leftist garbage regarding those 3 ballot issues. All that did was make me read the voters guide and conclude all 3 needed straight yes votes. The income tax scam, & the parent’s right piece were to repeal total crap the leftist communists in Olympia tried to force on the state. Of course with Washington’s statewide vote by mail fraud Im not very confident in all 3 leftist scams failing to be repealed.
My local stores (Thurston County) were either sold out of or did not carry Halloween costumes, which they had abundantly in prior years. Got 1 trick or treater. Stores are reducing product and eliminating rows of shelving, lots of extra candy yesterday.
I still have neighbors who believe Trump staged assasination attempts. They insist the millionaire tax will be an amazing benefit to the state. The few conservatives are, for the most part, planning escapes to red states when it becomes possible either with job transfers or retirement. Employers know it, and appear to not be offering transfers to older employees with pensions on the line.
“Whether you realize it or not, your algorithm is the culmination of specific identifiable definitions of your personage and your interests. That algorithm id may or may not represent you, but it is sold and used in order to influence your decision-making on a variety of aspects from commerce (purchasing decisions) to behavioral modification (influences).”
There is a reason that ‘lies’ is the first part of the now aged saying “the empire of lies, usury, sodomy, and diversity.” Our conquerors are past masters at memetic manipulation of our perceptions and understanding. Ignore them and in Pres. Trump’s own words “FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!”
Large turnout for early voting in northern Virginia. The Dems added initiatives to the ballot for the Virginia Constitution, the most important of which is to enshrine abortion as a right including in the third trimester “if deemed medically necessary.” Of course this has inspired enthusiastic turnout by blue voters.
The allowing children to marry part of those amendments freaks me out.
In Virginia Beach for the first time in 19 years my non- demotional church took a stand on the 3 yes/no initiatives and asked our congregation to vote no on at least two of them based on biblical principles straight from God and scriptures. My church just doesn’t do that but the way the Dems worded these three initiatives and how against God’s commands they are, we took a stand. Very encouraging. They did not take a stand to instruct voting for any individual candidates for office, just the referendum initiatives.
I voted early, and picked up my brother also to vote, and I had to wait. I’ve never had to wait to vote. While in line, I noticed almost all voters were at least over 40. I’m in Tennessee, which is a very red State..so make of that what you will.
Forgot to add that I was polled as I was leaving the parking lot..wanted to know who we voted for governor and why, and where we received our news from. My brother told him he received all his news from a podcast called, I believe, “The Black Conservative.” 😂😂😂
You didn’t mention holding your nose when voting Haggerty? Or did you choose someone else??
Not trying to demean Tennessee, as my OK Sen is Lankford. I know what it’s like to have them hate the voters.
Take a look WA. Our 2 coconuts are disgusting.
I was fine to vote for Haggerty. Haggerty is like the big guy sitting in the middle of the seesaw..just sort of balances stuff out. He’s very low key. I sure as hell would not vote for the Demoncrat. Haggerty is like a placeholder…when he steps aside, a MAGA conservative, full of fervor, will take his place.
Just a short distance to your south Jeanine, here in N. Ga. the wife and I voted on the third day of early voting, about an hour after the lunch hour. The line was short and moved fast, unlike the prior two and a half jam-packed days.
The political makeup here is predominately if not exclusively Red within small, marginal exceptions, unlike the metro Atlanta area to the south of us.
I didn’t have to “hold my nose” to vote for Blackburn when the competition was a loony left AWFL from Nashville, Green, and an ex felon, Hatley 🙂
BTW — I don’t think the Dems had anything to do with Hatley. He’s spending his own $$$, of which he has a lot, on this campaign. That kind of strategy works in primaries….but in a General the major parties want THEIR candidate to win — not an outsider.
Just curious…..whereabout in TN? i’m in the Nashville area………..
Ohio here, the most rainbow city in the state’s bluest county. Typically I’ve already had 10 to 15 Dem knocks on my door and zero GOP. This year is the exact opposite, with multiple Husted knocks and only 1 dem. I’ve received 3 Acton and brown flyers and at least 32 Husted/Vivek flyers. Usually, 1 in 4 houses on my street has a Dem sign. This election there are 3 of about 80 houses. Much less Dem enthusiam here than usual. The difference this election has been quite striking.
In suburban Columbus, same. Never been door
knocked by the GOP before 2X in last week.
Our Governor choice is between a drunk Nazi and pro immigrant used car salesman. People hate Vivek and my concern is that the down ticket suffers. Whatever the opposite of “coattails” is.
Living in North Texas and traveling through a few neighborhoods now and then, I find that most of the signs I see are from avid leftists. They either hate Paxton or Trump, or both. By and large, the conservatives seem to be expressing their views only at the ballot box. I hope the leftists lose BIG time.
I’m in San Antonio. Fewer signs than in the past. All the signs I have noticed are for dems. But there have also been people driving around
and removing the dem signs in my area.
Most people I know are voting against talafreako and dems, not necessarily “for” anyone.
North Texas resident, too. Same properties that put up Dem candidate signs every year have done the same this year, with a smattering of Paxton and Abbott signs. Nobody at work discusses politics anymore and it’s been that way each place I’ve worked since Trump won in 2016. So, under these conditions it’s hard to know where exactly people stand in advance of the vote count–and we can’t even be sure about that either.
I live in blue NJ so forget that for a moment. Typically the incumbent’s party loses in midterms so I wouldn’t necessarily say the opposition party is in favor. That’s just how things go. Par for the course. However, it dawned on me the other day. After Trump won, there were a lot of states that redistricted in favor of Republicans. So how honest are these polls showing democrats will win big with no meaningful policies? Just TDS.
Good point, the redistricting.
Unfortunately I Live in the People’s Republic of Illinois. Nothing positive to report, the Republican candidate for Governor is bought and paid for bu Pritzker.
Unfortunately, I live in the People’s Republic of Massachusetts. My vote isn’t going to help change anything in this Dem-controlled state.
I am in South Carolina in a medium city that has been inundated by yankees. They should be taxed 50% as they cross South of the Border on I-95. The outlier is the Graham candidacy . The rep. machine is with her but many voters resent her situation. It will be quite close but she will win.
Also in SC. The upstate is the most conservative part of the state. I sense no excitement at all for this election. Trump supporters will turn-out and vote republican, but not because they support republicans. Hopefully that will be enough.
Amen sister regarding that yankee tax.
The polls are the most corrupt I have seen in 10 years. A perfect example is using Aggregator Real Clear Politics on the two issues that Trump has been most successful in accomplishing, and the reason he was elected. Here are Trump’s current approval ratings on Crime and Immigration:
Crime: 44.2% APPROVE 51.5% DISAPPROVE
Immigration: 43.1% APPROVE 54.2% DISAPPROVE
Forget about the cheating going on, the media and polling organizations are doing their best to demoralize MAGA and Republicans. No doubt about it. Keep the faith.
Agree it’s an attempt to demoralize MAGA, but also to energize and encourage Dems.
Pay no attention to the polls. When asked, many of us simply state “I do not participate in any poll”.
My niece here in California (an RN in the SF Bay Area) has always been liberal… has defended Newsom, et al forever. Well, last Saturday I sat with her on her patio and helped her through the excruciatingly complex California ballot… and she voted Republican straight down the line. She had had it with the craziness and high expenses that even to her is the Democrats fault…
Too little, too late? Don’t know, but there could be hope if we can survive a little longer….
Southern California resident here and although we voted straight Republican we are seriously outnumbered by communists.
California is broke, pays high taxes on everything and democrats want to add more taxes and a new mileage tax (because $1000 yearly registration fee isn’t enough).
Kudos to your niece for waking up – my daughter voted for our demise.. sad but the brainwashing has been effective….
Orange County, CA used to be solidly Republican before gerrymandering, ballot harvesting and mail in ballots. If a Republican is ahead on election night, three weeks later the Democrats would find just enough votes to pull ahead and win certification. The GOP here is weak, stupid and lazy.
I’m also in OC. So true about the GOP. I voted against every judge on the ballot.
WE are in Oakland. 2 or 3 to 1 left. Our not wealthy, not poor neighborhood is quiet. No signs. The mayors race pits a long time dem, (B. Lee) for re-election. But there is an amazing MAGA candidate, Mindy Pechenuk. Long shot be super smart. Comes right out and supports DT, something not many people around here would do even if in quiet moments they are cheered by him. I’m not expecting big turnout. It’s a one party state. But challenging ideas are becoming more visible. Questions about how we are being governed and the flaws in that.
Small town NE of San Antonio, Tx: Very heavy turnout everyday for early voting. Long line wrapping around the building. Crowd quiet and respectful. Poll workers pleasant and helpful.
Western OK: In my area, the AWFULs, college kids, the in-insured, folks on disability, and Native Americans will vote blue. I think everyone else will vote red.
Several AWFULs I speak with are excited about female Dem nominee for Gov. Polls released last week show Gov race within 5 points, I find that hard to believe. GOP Gov nominee running on eliminating state income tax, six-year plan. Big split issue is an aluminum smelter plan for Eastern OK and Data Centers despite lower taxes being offered.
Two state questions, one on judicial nominating process and the other would limit the one-time property tax increase. Neither seems to have enthusiasm to pull ‘maybe’ voters to the polls.
Local economy is based on energy and agriculture. Farmers aren’t thrilled with what’s happening but will continue to vote red, in my opinion. Oil and gas are main energy, but also lots of wind farms here. Solidly red voters.
Fort Worth, Texas ended early voting 47% higher than the last 2022 midterm election. My voting site had the 2nd highest total in Fort Worth.
In the village where I live there is a street on a hill, it is where the more wealthy people live and usually all the signs are democratic. This year there are two democratic signs the rest Republicans, some with no signs that had Democratic signs before, but some that were always Democratic now have Republican signs out.
I have also noticed some of my closer neighbors in my working class neighborhood that had out Democratic signs don’t this year. What I can’t tell is if they are disillusioned with the Democrat or just embarrassed to put out the democrats signs, but will still vote for a Democrat.
Otherwise it is all Republican signs, plus some with slogans like ‘not with my daughter’.
VA CD-1. Wittman (R) incumbent but I fear not for long. The Dems are going after him heavy. He continues to run an uninspired campaign. He sends lots of email telling us all the good stuff he has done. But he’s a fence sitter and thinks as a moderate he will win. “MAGA” has never crossed his lips. No one has knocked on my door but that is typical for the VA GOP. VA GOP figured they escaped a bullet when the redistricting failed. They didn’t. Wish I wasn’t the black pill but VA grows bluer by the day. I think Abigail will prove to be the nail in the coffin.
It would be terrible to lose Wittman, he is milquetoast, but he has been around for a long time. My mother used to work with him decades ago in school health system before he entered politics.
McGuire in VA is in trouble, it is sad to see. His dad passed away a few days ago, the next day he was out driving the district. His father knew he was in the process of passing but wanted to hang on long enough for the election, the good part is that his entire family made to be by his side when he crossed over.
Soros money rides again. The thought of Perriello making a return disgusts me beyond cold anger.
In the corner of Collin County, TX where I reside:
Ahead of November 3rd … In discussions I have had, the sentiment is decidedly anti-democrat but undecided as to if they intend to actually vote or …. vote Libertarian or cast NO VOTES in specific races (i.e. Ken Paxton vs Talarico) … even when recognizing not voting supports the democrats.
The media has done a thorough job suppressing positive reports regarding the accomplishments of the President as well as accomplishments by the local “Republican Candidates” .. while accenting the reporting all the negatives regarding the President and “Republican Candidates”.
Further … the TX Republican Party has been Neutral … not supporting ANY of their candidates by name and simply pushing a vote republican message … any negative adds covering democrat candidates or positive adds covering republican candidates have been privately funded. Notably Ted Cruz and Governor Abbott have endorsed NOBODY.
NO debates.
NO reporting of voting records of democrats vs their new found claims to support agendas that look like President Trump’s.
TX-RNCC Limiting negative adds vs democrats to TRANS Issues and Open Borders … while ignoring anything of substance related to the “affordability issue”.
There are plenty of Libertarians to soak up a few percentage points of disaffected republican votes and others in specific races … as in Ken Paxton vs Talarico.
Turn-out for 2024-25 was less than 56% (vs 64% national average) was 46% for 2022 mid-terms … needs to be higher to ensure the ballot dumping in the Big Population Centers and potential apathy by some republicans is off-set.
I’m in CA so of course my vote doesn’t mean much but I’m curious… Do Republicans there actually “hate” Paxton that much that they’d vote Libertarian ?
i only know friends and family sentiment, and its not great. none have changed their stripes as far as core beliefs and demands, but a lot more than years past are refusing to do the “but the other guys are worse” routine. some stalwart right voters (such as my own dad) have surprised me: very angry, very disillusioned.
Pretty surprising indeed considering that “the other guys” are now straight-up communists who want to re-educate (hahaha that means execute, historically) anybody to the right of Mao. Not like they don’t know our voting history.
I’m voting straight red ticket for temporary survival. Long-term survival is not assured.
I currently contract with 8 aerospace and military weapons companies. Very vocal and open and politically active workspace. On a given week, I talk to about 110 decision makers. Just as I have in the past elections, I encourage employers to give their directs and contractors the time to go vote.
It’s always nice to see that this actually happens. And most of these employers actually PAY THEIR PEOPLE the time off to go vote. No conditions made, no promises expected.
But…it’s quite clear that it’s about a 90/10 ratio…90 percent will vote straight up the republican incumbent, or in some cases the republican challenger. For the 10 percent, it’s actually very different. Most reject the socialism and radicalism that has leeched into the national party that has also made it impossible for a regular square straight white dude to get the kind of financial support to run a successful democrat for office. huh who knew? so of this 10 percent, there is a certain kind of dispair. Usually this means they will just skip voting entirely because they can’t keep a straight face or be known as that dumb ass who just voted for a man dressed as a woman.
God Bless America
West Michigan here. Mohammed signs have been numerous – commies gaslight their hate for Trump like bees on honey. Are there enough of them to flip this state finally from 30 years of dem rule? These dumb kids think they are electing a young, counter Trump. He is the blank slate they use to pin all their dreams of commie wish list and then some. They just don’t believe their life could get worse as they sit inside their 2400 sq foot homes with their $1800 phones and $800-mo car payments, on an on, no sense of what Biden did before. We have to respect how the Dems play the game, their voters are so easily persuaded by ignorance, all they need to do is repeat “Trump and Epstein, pedo, rapist” and them no brain Dems just get all worked up.
Enough patriots to stop the Islamist? He is 100% and Islamist. It’s insane to think otherwise with such little research, plus his mom wore a hijab all his life, his wife does now…I’m sorry, that’s not the America I define as standing for “women’s rights”
God bless America….if he wins, I don’t know how we recover….
WA here, in the midst of Dems. Interesting that I’ve not seen a single sign, placard, bumper sticker endorsing specific candidates or initiatives. Not seen in my neighborhood or when driving along main thoroughfares. To me this indicates a lack of interest, apathy, don’t-care attitude. And that’s great since again, where I live, they’d be voting blue if they vote at all. It honestly seems like there’s no election occurring in two days.
Its possible everyone in the communist state of Washington has figured out with the statewide vote by mail fraud system the initiatives and candidates will end up being whatever the west side leftists decide they want not what people actually vote for
Most of my town is waiting till Tuesday to vote in person, like we did in 2020. Don’t want to give the demons a number count prior to voting day.
Latest from the county….
https://www.martinvotes.gov/
I did vote straight republican, but there were judges and other offices were it didn’t list rep or dem, so I left it blank on those questions, and the added stuff of questions about stuff, do I support some if the issues being voted on, If I knew the judges and issues where MAGA people were for, I would have voted for that
Maybe in future MAGA can recommend Judges and state issues …and undersand whch ones are MAGA and explain the pro’s and con’s of those judges or issues.
I did what MAGA suggests , vote up and down the ballot for Republicans. (even if they are rat rino republicans.) . 🙂
When I filled in my mail-in ballot, I had the same problem voting non-partisan offices — especially state supreme court.
I found that a little internet research usually revealed some kind of R or D support for a candidate in each race. State supreme court is a big deal. It’s worth a few minutes.
(Rich, this is not a criticism of you but a suggestion to people who have yet to vote.)
Here’s what I can say first hand. Many members of my church who know how much attention I pay to politics have asked me for my sample ballot.
I have it filled in via a PDF editor and have been emailing it to some who have in turn forwarded to others who were unsure of how to vote in in FL with judges and amendments etc. All have expressed much gratitude. I went straight Red on statewide races. I also voted last Monday
Mail-in Oregon here, south of Portland, central state. In the past year, I’ve gotten personally acquainted with 20-30 new friends because of new associations. Strong farm heritage here, going way back – small farms and forestry, ranches, etc. As nearly as I can from group and individual conversation – everyone I’m getting to know is MAGA/conservative, from families who have that generational heritage as well.
FINALLY, in 2020 I was able to vote Republican in a county that went for Trump. Like I said, outside/south of Portland. Once you get away from Salem and Eugene and Portland, Oregon is red. (Look at the map illustration above)
Whether talking about President Trump, stupid covid, or illegal aliens and the illnesses they cause (and yes, there are bunches of them here, in farm work), people are speaking up.
The Stupid Nextdoor app is now full of people freely talking back to the leftists. Of course, as a result of the normal Americans not willing to take it any more, most of those conversations are immediately shut down by Nextdoor because they “don’t meet the leftist standards of the site”.
And, often unknown to non-Oregonians, Oregon is a free and open carry state. I always feel quite safe going out with my family here for dinner or shopping because they are ready. There are an unusual (I think…) number of signs really delivering the goods against leftist gov Kotek–even along the freeway through Portland–saw one just the other day.
I have always loved the God built Oregon. And I love seeing the normal Americans are fully aware and fighting back to restore what leftists have done to this beautiful state, and what they intend to keep on doing.
Not my area, but ElSayed had a rally last week with Obama, and today he is in Detroit at a black church with guess who, Rep. Clybourn. Trying to cover the young and old black vote. Don’t think it will work.
Haley Stevens just endorsed Rogers. Post below.
Sounds like a good place to handout a flyer regarding PDT’s offer of $1m to turn in those involved in ballot fraud
Sununu is going to get beat by Pappas in NH. How do I know this?? Attack ads are all over TV. One of Sununu’s more numerous ads is about Pappas not supporting a bill regarding ride-sharing. Ride-sharing??? Really? That’s all we have to attack that guy with?? NH gets bluer…sadly. At least it won’t be a pickup for the other side.
SC, small town, rural locale. Most neighbors voting straight R, with nose held for Graham.
Living in a state and city long ago captured by the far left, all I can say is that I haven’t seen a lot of early voting. I’ve not gotten my door knocked on but once, and that was by local socialist Alder looking for a signature to get her on February ballot. To me this mean’s that turnout will be low in city and likely statewide. There is no GOP to speak of in Illinois. Whatever remnants remain are of the uniparty sort.
This is so interesting . Haley Stevens (D) is supporting Mike Rogers (R) in MI.
They went to church together today , and she is making her statement to the Press outside the church right now.
Eastern, ND. First day of early voting, line out the door for several hours. Voting room was full.
I am in rural Arkansas; at a place where 5 county lines meet. I traveled Saturday across 3 of those county lines and drove by (on my way to somewhere else) 3 different precinct voting stations. There were lines of cars looking for parking spaces, and many people entering and leaving the voting areas.
This is a primarily red area and while people have not said WHO they would be voting for, I have been approached several times by people reminding me to vote. Early voting has been going on for almost 2 weeks now, and persons I have spoken with were voting early.
There appears to be a high level of interest in this election.
Yard signs are all for Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Tom Cotton, et. al. I have observed only a few signs for a Democrat who is an incumbent (Treasurer). All others have been R candidates.
I voted last week and there were several people who were voting at the same time. Not long lines, but a steady stream of coming in and going out.
Central Pennsylvania:
My sense is a Red Wave. There are no DSA/Communist/Democrat signs in yards. There are along the roadways, but not in the yeards. There are more Republican signs in yards, but not as many. I think that is due to the crazy’s who vandalize property due to your political support.
My wife is from Taiwan and is a new voter. We are both registered independent do to eminent domain and the Democrat Gov. Shapiro. The amount of mail flyers sent to her each day is incredible. Due to her name, she is bombarded by voter action mail, some of it in Chinese!
Even in our travels to the DC area, there is not much energy for the Democrats.
I think, if the illegal voting and cheating is nullified, this will be a red wave.
In St. Louis, MO.
Vibe here is quiet. I think the masses are tired from the last 10 years.
There’s an abortion Amendment that will motivate turnout. The Dems have poured a lot into ads for this Amendment.
Ann Wagner is usually a layup win. She must be feeling a little pressure as her team has been pushing attack ads on Wellman. No ads for Wellman.
Amendment 6 is another big push by Dems. They want to make gerrymandering more difficult to protect their few automatic wins in KC and STL. The ads are trying to appeal to Midwestern values of whats right and wrong. I hope people don’t fall for it.
These ads are on network TV. I don’t use any social media.
WI Governor, up in the air but likely to go for Tom Tiffany (R) vs. incompetent former Milwaukee County executive David Crowley. 3rd district likely Derrick Van Orden over3-time tryer Rebecca Cooke.
Separately, the news now that Haley Stevens has gone to church (one of Jim Clyburn’s likely) with Mike Rogers and made a very profound statement outside that she endorses Mike Rogers. She’s better on her feet right now than I’ve seen here. This is not going to be received well in the El-Sayed camp, particularly after Clyburn read him the riot-act rules about who gets to invite or disinvite who. Hilarious.
I’d also bet that some of those early voters in Michigan may be having buyer’s remorse.
Texas Gulf coast area —- largest turn out of early voting I’ve ever witnessed. Far more elderly voters waiting in line everyday.
Is that good or bad ?
Good that more people are voting,……….bad if they’re voting for the left.
NE Florida. Close to GA., so get some GA. stuff on TV news, etc.
Tons of ads on TV for Georgia Dems, NONE for Repubs. Are Rs in GA. not advertising, or am I just listening at the “wrong” times?
The dismantling of USAID should have an impact on blue voter turnout. And we’ve had no riots this year, at least any worth talking about.
The Adirondacks are Red but the blue are spending on advertising.
Blue state, blue county north of NYC. This is so specific it is microscopic. The place where I get my hair cut is full of progressive customers and solid Republican/conservative stylists. Two years ago, the customers hated Trump. Now, they are openly taking about hating Governor Hochul. The main reasons: Zohran Mamdani and antisemitism.
I’m in SoCal, our elections are all rigged. No one seems excited to vote at all. I already voted, not that it means anything here. lol. But I still do it.
Same.. I’m in NorCal
Kentucky between Nashville and Louisville. Lots of older early voters. We’re in a college town so it’s a good many liberals., although, the churches are beginning to encourage their congregations to vote which isn’t usual. Our cellphones have been spotty with the recording “all circuits are busy”. Not very many yard signs for either party here and we don’t tend to have great turnout.
I saw Susan Collins ws way behind in Maine
I don’t think she’s ever had a lead in any race she’s run but always seems to win…
Red wave feel here locally in this city in Pinal County, AZ
