WASHINGTON DC – Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) on Saturday promised that “explosive” congressional hearings over the Benghazi, Libya attacks are on the way.

“There are more Benghazi hearings coming, I think they’re going to be explosive,” Gowdy said on Fox News.

Gowdy, a member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said the hearings are going to be “coming quickly” and seemed to hint that the public might for the first time hear from witnesses to the September assault that left four Americans dead. (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – For those of you who might not know or care, the White House Correspondents Dinner is an annual orgy of narcissistic self-indulgence where the biggest stars in media, Hollywood, and politics gather to become even more corrupt and insulated than they already are. It is also a decidedly left-wing affair where the media hoot, holler, and applaud as Barack Obama attacks his political opponents, and do the same when Stephen Colbert rips George W. Bush.

In a word, the dinner is a grotesque display of “journalists” yukking it up and slapping the backs of those in power whom they are supposed to hold accountable. Just as grotesque is watching the same gilded media, who protect Obama from his failed economy, celebrate their own corrupt one-percent selves as the poverty they willfully ignore explodes all around them. A democrat lawmaker, Representative David Linsky, has taken a position against Mass Democrat Governor Deval Patrick and is working to outline the finances and bring to the public for review.   Well done Mr. Linsky.

(Via Daily Mail)  The deceased Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his wife Katherine relied on food stamps and public assistance from 2011 to 2012, soon after they became parents.

New details have emerged about taxpayer money that was shelled out to the family of the bombing suspects, after the Mass. Gov. previously refused to divulge information on their welfare benefits.

A state lawmaker was able to obtain data about government assistance the Tsarnaevs received and that information was passed on to the media. (more…)

Eric Holder is the Attorney General of the United States;  The chief law enforcement officer.  He is appointed by the Executive Branch, the President of the United States, and constitutionally required to “enforce the laws within the nation”.

The Legislative Branch passes laws.  ==> The Executive Branch enforces laws. ==>  The Judicial Branch evaluates laws.   That’s how this whole ‘giddy up’ we call the United States Constitutional Republic is set up to work.

The Executive Branch enforces laws –   The Executive Branch, President Obama, uses the Department of Justice to execute that federally required job responsibility.    That simply means that the AG, Eric Holder, is the primary “enforcer” of the processes to insure the laws on the national legislative books are followed. – Today seems a fitting day to review this again –

One of the frustrating realities of our polarized time is the media creating a skewed and left leaning view of all things political. However, even with this headwind, each day many more people choose to engage in and honest discovery and understanding of what’s going on. Whether because they stumble upon a concern, or whether they happen across some information that makes them rethink their prior position and views, it can lead to an engagement with us from a perspective of their only reality view having been determined by the lens of the media.

Indeed that can be, and often is, an incredibly frustrating conversation because they bring an embedded and sometimes flawed bias into their narrative. One of the more common misunderstandings stems from the media hatred of George W Bush and his actions, aptly called Bush Derangement Syndrome (BSD).

What I want to do here is not change anyone’s mind, but rather to remind people what led to some of Dubya’s decisions in his own words.

I must first emphasize at the time of Dubya’s tenure in the White House I was not a supporter of many “Bush policies”, however, I did understand his reasoning.

Sometimes research into “why” was needed to understand this reasoning, but there were valid reasons nonetheless. It is unfair for the liberal media, or for any Johnny-come-lately to re-write his motivation as illicit, it was not. In hindsight some of his policies and approaches may have been wrong, but it generally is unfair to look in the rear view mirror to judge. BOSTON, MA –  Regular viewers of Fox News are used to seeing popular host Megyn Kelly on their televisions every afternoon, but on Thursday morning Kelly made a special appearance during the morning to break some surprising information: according to her sources, the FBI was “shocked” to see a magistrate “waltz into” the hospital room of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and read him his Miranda rights.

So why were they shocked? According to Kelly, the FBI was under the understanding that they would get much more time with Tsarnaev under the “public safety exemption” before he was read his rights. Adding to the shock: the sources told Kelly agents were getting crucial information after only 16 hours of questioning and were making valuable progress. […] (more…)

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is used by just about every liberal media outlet to manipulate the narrative of extremist terrorists as being from the “far right”.   SPLC spokesperson Mark Potac is on television weekly selling this narrative;  The most recent example was his appearance, early on following the Boston Bombing, claiming the bombers were most likely right-wing extremists.

WASHINGTON DC – A vote on President Barack Obama’s controversial labor secretary nominee was postponed after Republican Senators summoned a whistleblower to testify before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions committee.

Politico reported on Wednesday that Frederick Newell, a St. Paul, Minnesota community activist, will appear before the committee to discuss the $200 million whistleblower lawsuit that Tom Perez, the head of the Department of Justice’s civil rights enforcement, allegedly dismissed as part of a quid pro quo deal with the city. The city withdrew a Supreme Court case that threatened to overturn disparate impact, a racial discrimination doctrine that Perez supports, in exchange for the DOJ dropping the whistleblower suit. This is a great example of how intensely the Modern Democrat party considers any ideological opposition, even amid their own constituency. From top to bottom Progressive Fabian Socialism is the entire construct of the liberal left – Democrats.

You won’t hear the legacy media tell this story, for they are part of the same alignment;  And spotlighting the rabid extent of the ideological pressure just isn’t part of the program. The media reserves that approach for discussing how the right-wing, extremist ‘Tea Partiers’ are pressuring Republicans to move away from *cough* moderation.

No, for the Modern Democrats the deconstruction of the U.S. Constitution, reflecting individual freedom, is the key principle upon which they manuever to overwhelm the system, tear down the fabric of a constitutional society, and reconstruct it in a more progressive manner. It is the same reason, albeit a divergent angle, that reflects the intents behind hiring people to sell government dependency – and force food stamp use.

(NATIONAL JOURNAL) – Mayors Against Illegal Guns, the well-funded group co-founded by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, is seriously considering a months-long television, radio and direct-mail campaign against Arkansas Sen. Mark Pryor, one of four Democrats who opposed expanding a background check for guns.

The goal: Make an example of him.

Senior members of Mayor’s Against Illegal Guns met at length Sunday to debate potential responses to the failure of President Obama’s gun regulation package, including a watered-down background check provision that fell five votes short. (more…)
