New York Times – The book does not hit shelves until May 5, but already the Republican Rand Paul has called its findings “big news” that will “shock people” and make voters “question” the candidacy of Hillary Rodham Clinton.
“Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich,” by Peter Schweizer — a 186-page investigation of donations made to the Clinton Foundation by foreign entities — is proving the most anticipated and feared book of a presidential cycle still in its infancy.
The book, a copy of which was obtained by The New York Times, asserts that foreign entities who made payments to the Clinton Foundation and to Mr. Clinton through high speaking fees received favors from Mrs. Clinton’s State Department in return. (more…)

DOVER, Del. (AP) — Three people were shot and injured Saturday night at a cookout on the Delaware State University campus, officials said, and authorities are searching for the shooter.
The shooting happened at about 8 p.m. at a university-sanctioned fraternity and sorority event, DSU spokesman Carlos Holmes said.
Three people were taken to Kent General Hospital in Dover with injuries that were not life-threatening, Holmes told The Associated Press. DSU President Harry L. Williams said in a news release that the victims’ names have not been released and it isn’t clear whether they are Delaware State students.
No arrests had been made as of 2:30 a.m. EDT Sunday. Williams said students have been told to stay inside their dormitories. Non-students were asked to leave campus. (read more)

For several years people have wondered what would be the specific benefit to foreign entities sending millions of dollars to the Clinton Family Foundation while Hillary was Secretary of State.
Obviously most of the outside interest is directed toward inquiry and concern of a quid-pro-quo relationship between the State Dept and the donor itself.
However, HotAir shares a specific example that might actually make more sense when considering the contributions on a larger context.
The U.S. State Dept is responsible for oversight of sanctions imposed against nation states like Iran and Cuba. If an entity, individual or nation state, wanted to engage in a business deal in direct violation of those sanctions, and do business with Iran or Cuba, a direct donation to the head of the body who would be in charge of the oversight might help your efforts. The Clinton Rules for meeting candidate Clinton are coming to light. After recent events in Iowa some reporters were able to talk to the limited number of “everyday Americans” who participated in her presidential rollout.
♦ Rule #1. Pre-Approval of your personage is required.
♦ Rule #2. You must sign releases to allow the campaign control over all content while you are present.
♦ Rule #3. All of your electronic devices and cell phones must be turned over to handlers – and they will be returned only at the conclusion of the event.
♦ Rule #4. You will be transported to undisclosed location(s). You will not be informed of your destination until arrival.
Nothing like a little Clintonian paranoia to help Hillary connect to the unwashed masses.

Those following the Obama Immigration Executive Action legal battles will note yesterday Congressman Young was asking Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Saldana the exact same point outlined in Judge Hanen’s rebuke of the White House.
From the ruling:
[Judge Hanen continues…] The President’s message, specifically to those law enforcement officials employed within the Executive Branch, and more generally to the nation, is clear. First, immigration laws (INA), which those officials are charged with enforcing, are not to be enforced when those laws conflict with the 2014 DHS Directive. Second, the criteria set out in that Directive are mandatory. Third, if DHS officials (or other Executive Branch officials) fail to follow the specified criteria, there will be consequences for this failure.
Just as there would be consequences if they were in the military and disobeyed an order from the Commander in Chief. In summary, the Chief Executive has ordered that the laws requiring removal of illegal immigrants that conflict with the 2014 DHS Directive are not to be enforced, and that anyone who attempts to do so will be punished. So yesterday ICE Director Saldana is on Capitol Hill answering questions when Republican David Young asks Mrs. Saldana about the conflict between the law, and the rules imposed by President Obama that force border patrol agents to: a.) break the law, or b.) break Obama’s executive action rules.
