FRANCE – A Frenchman [Mehdi Nemmouche – pictured left] with suspected ties to Islamic extremists in Syria has been arrested over last week’s shooting at the Jewish Museum in Brussels that left four people dead, according to sources linked to the investigation.

The 29-year-old suspect was arrested Friday in the southern French city of Marseille, the sources told the AFP news agency.

He was detained by customs officials at the city’s coach station on board a bus arriving from Amsterdam via Brussels and was found carrying a Kalashnikov automatic rifle and a gun with ammunition in his luggage, as well as a miniature video camera.

He has been detained on suspicion of murder and attempted murder in connection with a terrorist enterprise, a judicial source said. (more…)

By now you have probably seen the outline and research we have assembled around the Myrtle Beach Massacre and Black Bike Week.

The reason we have continued to follow the story as it unfolds is because the event and consequences show a great example of how paralyzed a community can become when it allows fear to drive political correctness.

In addition, how the local government is responding is a case study in cultural fear and fear of the racist labeling.  In this specific case Myrtle Beach is also afraid of the NAACP because they have a previous history of being sued by them.

The local city government is willing to pay vast sums of taxpayer money just to avoid confronting the root of the weekend violence.   The violence is ironically created by, and enhanced by, their own avoidance policies.    Subsequently the entire community is subjected to violence because they are caught in a catch-22 of political correctness.

To that end during a North Myrtle Beach City Council Meeting held 5/27/14 the local city council came prepared to fight the reality of the citizens angst with a litany of PC statistics to support their position.

The city council quickly coordinated their defense within hours of the Memorial Day holiday ending.   Literally within hours.   At 2pm the day after Memorial Day the local government was ready to defend themselves with charts and statistics, as if they already knew what to expect and were preparing in advance for the ire of the victims.  Hmmmm? FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Fort Lauderdale police believe hundreds of young people made their way to the beach for one reason this Memorial Day, to cause trouble.

Police described a volatile scene Monday night as they had to arrest dozens of people that were part of unruly crowds.    Two separate incidents late Monday afternoon kept officers busy. One scene was near the area of 31st Avenue and West Broward Boulevard.

The other was near the beach close to A1A.  Police said around 5 o’clock in the afternoon, hundreds of young people made their way to the beach for one reason this Memorial Day, to cause trouble.

Fort Lauderdale Police were in riot gear as a large crowd of young people moved through A1A reportedly causing mayhem. (more…)

UPDATE… Alan Schifman, the lawyer for the Rodger family, said he was being treated by several therapists and recently his parents and a social worker had become so alarmed by his behavior and his videos from Marketing Heaven that they had reported him to police. […] Rodger was diagnosed as being a high-functioning patient with Asperger syndrome.

Here’s the creepy video done by the alleged killer, Elliot Rodger,  less than 24 hours prior to the shootings.  He’s being referred to as the “Psycho Virgin”….and here he cites rejection by girls as one of his primary reasons for the killing spree.

“I’m going to enter the hottest sorority house of UCSB, and I will slaughter every single spoilt, stuck-up, blonde s**t that I see inside there.”

New York – A Brooklyn fare-beater allegedly punched a young woman in the face while apparently playing the “knockout game” in a Manhattan PATH station — and her friend chased him down, put him in a chokehold and forced him to apologize, sources said.

Ibrahim King, 36, allegedly slugged 21-year-old Elizabeth Mejia, breaking her orbital bone, in the Ninth Street station around 3:40 a.m. Sunday.

“He looks at her for a very short moment and then he pulls his right fist back and lunges across the railing and punches her in the face,” said Mejia’s friend Steve Sala.

The White House legal advisor who framed the administrations legal references for drone killing of American citizens is due to be confirmed without allowing his drone memos to be reviewed prior to confirmation vote.  Yeah, we have a problem with that…. 

WASHINGTON DC – Bolstered by the promised public release of a secret legal memo, Senate Democrats are ready to approve a top federal judgeship for a former Obama administration official who helped formulate the justification for the drone killings of suspected American terrorists overseas.

The Senate was expected Thursday to approve David Barron to join the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which is based in Boston.

Barron cleared a pivotal hurdle Wednesday when senators voted 52-43 to end opponents’ efforts to derail the nomination. In that roll call, Barron was opposed by every voting Republican and two Democrats, Sens. Mary Landrieu of Louisiana and Joe Manchin of West Virginia. (more…)

That classified assessment, which has never before been publicly disclosed, was in keeping with the message coming from the White House. President Obama rode to re-election in 2012 partly on the success of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden. At rallies and in press conferences, the president and top officials publicly said al Qaeda was on the run.

But some senior U.S. intelligence officials, like Defense Intelligence Agency Director Gen. Michael Flynn, fought hard against that assessment, which amounted to an official pronouncement of the American intelligence community’s collected wisdom. (Via MEMRI)  Muhammad Badi, General Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, made an address to the court on May 18, 2014, rejecting the accusations brought against him and other members of the movement. In footage from the trial posted on the Internet, Badie says: “We have fought only against the Jews… yet now we are being accused of conspiring with Hamas against the Egyptian people. This is an absolute lie.”
