Hiring Someone Because They Are Black is Just As Racist As Not Hiring Someone Because They Are Black

Former Community Relations Service Director, Ondray Harris, quit last year because he was under pressure in Washington DC to only hire black people.   Mr. Harris saw this as discrimination.   President Obama signed an executive order in 2010 to change school disciplinary standards for only black males.  Now this….. 

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is obtaining commitments from foundations, businesses and community groups to help young minority men improve their employment opportunities and to intervene before some of them get sucked into the criminal justice system.

Obama is launching the “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative Thursday, matching his State of the Union pledge to “help more young men of color … stay on track and reach their full potential.”

The president has invited business, foundation and community leaders to the White House Thursday to announce the effort.

The unemployment rate last month for African-American men over the age of 20 was 12 percent, compared with 5.4 percent for white men. Hispanic men over the age of 20 faced an unemployment rate of 8.2 percent.  (read more)

Tampa FL – […] The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office says they called in 60 extra deputies that night from the surrounding area.

“There was a strong presence from the Sheriff’s Office out there, but we were tapped to our limits,” said Colonel Jim Previtera with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Even the extra deputies were overwhelmed.

Famous for his insufferable naiveté surrounding Trayvon Martin, actor Jamie Fox joins a peace walk in Miami Gardens.   The profound stupidity of the entire fiasco is exemplified in the fact that Trayvon Martin’s father, Tracy “Fruit” Martin, was specifically the one engaged with his son to discuss purchasing a handgun for him. 

…Yet there he is, in the front row, nodding and clapping away !    

The information about Trayvon’s father and guns was hidden from the general public by the media refusing to cover it.  It was discovered during a late night evidentiary proffer hearing when the contents of Trayvon’s phone were being argued as admissible or not.

(Via Truth Revolt)  This past Saturday in Miami Gardens, actor Jamie Foxx helped lead a peace walk through the streets to a local complex where a rally was held in remembrance of Trayvon Martin.  During his remarks, Foxx suggested that gun violence is mostly a problem for black Americans.

“The blood that flows through America that is from gun violence is mostly African-American, and yet you young black folk sit here mute and ya’ll don’t say nothing about it.”

Foxx is not one to shy from controversy. The actor wore a “Know Justice, Know Peace” shirt with Trayvon’s face on it to the 2013 MTV Movie Awards.

The transparency of the progressive movement is obvious.   In the 2012 election cycle we were introduced to Sandra Fluke and her demands of tax-payer funded contraception; this evolved into the ‘War On Women’ faux-outrage campaign.

In this 2014 election cycle the angst needs additional victimization check boxes.  Ergo you are being introduced to a “black” (check box one for race/victimization),  “gay” (check box two for sexual orientation/victimization), “collegiate football player” (check box three for youth vote/victimization), Michael Sam, who announces his sexual orientation as a measure of his fluke-like worthiness to the progressive left.

Whether Michael Sam is a good football player, a man of strong moral fiber, or an intellectual powerhouse, is irrelevant to the cause.

If he does not get drafted into the NFL the narrative will be because he’s gay and the NFL is homophobic – A successful victim, very useful.

If he does get drafted into the NFL it will be because the world is changing and *despite his victimization* he has succeeded.   A successful victim, very useful.

One only needs to look at how the progressive left is scripting the introduction to know that YOU WILL SEE THIS NAME EVERY DAY FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR.

SNOW SAFARI – A couple of local families decided to take their kids sledding during a school-closed snow day in Georgia.   Pack of 30+ teen thugs pelted one wife and baby with snowballs, jumped on cars, and then quickly launched into frenzied attack mode when told to stop….   Reverse the races and this would be 24/7 CNN News.

WARNER ROBINS — Two teens have been arrested in connection with an attack in front of Warner Robins High School while school was out due to snow.

Shymalik Raekwon Mitchell, 17, of Warner Robins, was arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated assault, according to a news release from the Warner Robins Police Department.

Terrell Antonio Boyd, 17, also of Warner Robins, was charged with battery. Additional arrests may be pending as the investigation continues, the release said.

According to police, a group of about 30 people were having a snowball fight at the high school Jan. 29. Members of the group allegedly were jumping on vehicles in the parking lot, and when one of the vehicle’s owners asked them to stop, they allegedly attacked that person and three others who came to his aid. Shortly after a congressional hearing yesterday morning, True the Vote founder Catherine Engelbrecht filed an ethics complaint against Rep. Elijah Cummings. The complaint alleges the Congressman intimidated her and and her group. The Congressman had done some cable news shows alleging incorrect facts about True the Vote. In the hearing yesterday, Cummings accused True the Vote of racism saying that they were trying to suppress the vote.

“Franky, Megyn, the thought of having to sit before my accuser and be silent in the face of what he did was unconscionable. He [Cummings] filed over a period of months in 2012, he filed three letters that he sent to me asserting that he was opening an investigation. He sent this on House Oversight and Government Reform letterhead.”

This is funny on many levels, and this is not a spoof – which makes it even funnier…

CONCORD, CA — Officials at a Northern California private school are apologizing after a lunch menu option to celebrate Black History Month angered some parents and students.

Students at Carondelet High School for Girls in Concord wanted to come up with ways to observe the occasion during a lunchtime celebration Friday. But when the school announced a menu of fried chicken, cornbread and watermelon, other students and parents became offended. (more…)

ALABAMA – (wkrg)  […]   Victim Mr. Carroll Jordan – A generous man to everyone who knew him—even lending his car to those who needed it.

“Tried to be a good neighbor.”

But that kindness was struck down when two men and a woman walked through his open front door, pulled him from his favorite chair, beat and stabbed him several times. One of those men was 18-year-old Robert Campbell who was arrested this morning after being found at a relative’s house. Jordan’s neighbor actually interrupted the crime.

ABC News Reporting –  Two teenagers have been arrested after police say they burglarized  51-year-old Kimberly Leto’s home and killed her.

“That it was a 14 and 15-year-old is unimaginable. There is a loss of life  and two lives thrown away,” said Baltimore Police Commissioner, Anthony  Batts.

Police originally thought the teens were 14 and 15; they have since corrected  those numbers and confirm that they are charging 14-year-old Alonzo Gorham-Ramos  and 16-year-old Allen Pinkney with Leto’s murder.

“This is a heartbreaking tragedy, on so many levels,” Commissioner Batts said. “Our purpose today is not to claim victory on this arrest, rather it is to limit that such a tragedy occurred in the first place.” (more…)

The lady who wore tampons in her ears on television, and later mocked Mitt Romney’s grandson because he was black, has a spidey sense for detecting racism. She can define it when others cannot, or so she says. However, given the propensity for MSNBC to miss the daily examples of black racism directed toward non-blacks one must wonder if her psychological  tuning fork is uni-directional.

(The Daily Caller) At a recent forum at the University of Michigan, MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry explained to her audience that white people will never understand why things are racist, because they lack an innate “racial trigger,” that instantly tells them when to be outraged.

Harris-Perry, on the other hand, has a very finely-tuned racial trigger.

“I know that this moment is racist because it trips my racial trigger, because it makes me feel nauseous,” she said, according to The Michigan Daily. “I’m not generally angry, but you just made me mad.” (more…)
