Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer will change the Senate rules to pass legislation with a simple majority.  They will not eliminate the filibuster rule per se’, they will simply enact a 51 vote threshold rule for legislative passage.  (Reasoning to follow)

Once the immediate needs of the individual constituency of democrat coalitions is paid off, (Amnesty for Latino’s, Gay Marriage for LGBT, etc) the machinations that include Harry Reid will move by fall 2013 on Carbon Taxation programs.  Together with the EPA Regulatory arm a system of “Carbon Trading” will be instituted prior to the run up to the mid-term 2014 election, hence the fall 2013 kick off just like Obamacare fall 2009. I’m aware that the terrible and real loss that had been suspected is now documented. The reports have now come back on the tests that were done to check for national malignancy. It’s Stage 4. There is no more maneuvering room for yet one more fallback position. There was an ugly line drawn across the page as darkness fell last night and a new chapter is under way.

The broad expansive joys of simply being an American seem to be dust. We know today for sure, if we weren’t sure of it before, that we are no longer the go-to nation. GWP – FOX News is reporting that only 2,800 came out to see Barack Obama this morning, the Friday before the election, in Hilliard, Ohio.  Meanwhile… The Romney campaign just informed me that four thousand supporters flocked to see Mitt Romney at the Wisconsin State Fair Park today… And another thousand supporters were FORCED TO STAND OUTSIDE! (From Douglass J Hagman @CFP) According to the U.S. government, Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed during a spontaneous protest at the consulate office in Benghazi by a frenzied crowd of Muslims outraged over an obscure internet video. Recently released “sensitive but not classified e-mails” from Stevens to the U.S. Department of State painted a picture of poor security for U.S. personnel and the embassy, which was obviously true but had little to do with the events of September 11, 2012.

The failure to dispatch an extraction team or otherwise rescue the men during a firefight that lasted upwards of nine grueling and tortuous hours was not the result of any intelligence failure, but caused by our unwillingness to widen the conflict and expose the nature and scale of our true mission in Benghazi. Re-electing President Obama is a momentous decision that will require every single voter. What would the children of the future say if we let them down this November?

A BBC World Service opinion poll has found sharply higher overseas approval ratings for US President Barack Obama than Republican challenger Mitt Romney.

An average of 50% favoured Mr Obama, with 9% for Mr Romney, in the survey of 21,797 people in 21 countries.

Only Pakistan’s respondents said they would prefer to see Mr Romney win November’s election.  France was the most strongly pro-Obama (72%).  The survey was conducted by GlobeScan/PIPA between 3 July and 3 September.   (article)

TEHRAN (FNA) – Senior Iranian parliamentary sources revealed on Saturday that the Swiss envoy to Tehran has quoted US President Barack Obama as acknowledging Iran’s nuclear rights.

Swiss Ambassador to Tehran Livia Leu Agosti attended a meeting with senior Iranian foreign ministry officials a few days ago to submit a letter from the US president to Tehran leaders. (more…)

It detailed the president’s personal role in deciding which individuals will end up being targeted for assassination by the CIA based on Obama’s secret, unchecked decree that they are “terrorists” and deserve to die.

Based on interviews with “three dozen of his current and former advisers”, the Times’ Jo Becker and Scott Shane provided extraordinary detail about Obama’s actions, including how he “por[es] over terrorist suspects’ biographies on what one official calls the macabre ‘baseball cards'” and how he “insist[s] on approving every new name on an expanding ‘kill list'”. At a weekly White House meeting dubbed “Terror Tuesdays”, Obama then decides who will die without a whiff of due process, transparency or oversight. Previously I shared:  Occam’s Razor –  Ladka is a NY Dem minded ideologue.   However, if he was “registered as a Democrat” the Alinskyites would have chosen a different front man.    Bottom Line Ladka aligns himself ideologically with Dear Leader.   Hence, his “handlers”, while known or unknown, will carefully guide him into the spotlight…..  

Water follows the path of least resistance.   So does ideology.   This Kerry Ladka guy is beyond a doubt a David Plouffe coordinated OFA strategic manuever.   Just watch…..
