• Race relations are better, • a U.S. embassy is possible in the “country of Tehran” (LOL – smartest president ever), • the mid-terms were poor because the Democrats failed to highlight the magnanimous magnificence of Obama’s administration, • Latinos hate republicans, and • white people refuse to see how much better off they are.
These are a few of the highlights from President Obama’s interview with NPR that took place 11 days ago and was held for some, well, unknown reason.
Below is a full link to President Obama’s full (according to them) NPR interview: (more…)
Update: 6:00am PSTSecond shooter evades capture – A Los Angeles Police Department patrol car was fired on in an “unprovoked attack” Sunday night that put police officers around the city on tactical alert.
The shooting took place late Sunday in a neighborhood in South Los Angeles as two officers were responding to an unrelated radio call.
“A couple of officers were rolling down the street when they observed the muzzle of a rifle firing in their direction,” LAPD Sgt. James Shray told MyFox LA. “They responded to the muzzle flash.” (more…)
Thank God the police officer followed his spidey senses (and training)…
(Via Bearing Arms) A Durham, NC police officer sitting in a parked car saved his own life Thursday night by catching the approach of two men in his squad car’s rear-view mirror.
The officer exited his vehicle to confront the pair, when one of the would-be assassins opened fire without saying a word:
A Durham police officer dove for cover Thursday night after a man walked up and began shooting at him, police said Friday.
The incident happened about 10 p.m. on Lakeland Street, just north of Truman Street. Police said Officer J.T. West was sitting in his patrol car, working on a report, when he saw two men approaching his car from behind. (more…)
The MSM will play this down as a “disturbed young lady”, while ignoring the fact these tremendously unstable minds are heavily influenced by the inflamed rhetoric of the “F*ck The Police” (FTP) protestors. My hunch would be she looks like that Lena Dunham personality….
A Massachusetts woman is accused of throwing raw bacon and sausage at a police station on Friday, saying she was there to “feed the pigs,” but her parents tell NECN their daughter’s behavior is “not her” and she needs help.
Framingham police say 24-year-old Lindsey McNamara of Ashland walked into the police department with a large Dunkin’ Donuts box, and when an officer asked if he could help her, she told him she was there to “feed the pigs” and smeared a handful of raw meat on the dispatcher’s window. She threw the meat all over the counter as well. As she tried to to do it a second time, she was arrested, police said. (more…)
Which it is, but in today’s politically correct and culturally Marxist world you dare speak the truth in case you hurt the feelings of the perpetually aggrieved.
FERGUSON – Ferguson police spokesman was placed on unpaid leave after acknowledging remarks to a Washington Post blogger in which he called the Michael Brown memorial a “pile of trash,” city officials said Saturday.
One day earlier, the city stood behind the spokesman, Officer Timothy Zoll — claiming he had been misquoted — after an inquiry into the damaged memorial in the middle of Canfield Drive. But officials retreated in a one-page statement issued Saturday.
Zoll was “confronted with the results” of a department investigation into the remarks attributed to him, city officials said. (more…)
Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley was the 28 year old radical supporter of the FTP movement who assassinated two New York Police officers. Bassem Masri is a Palestinian antagonist and principal member of the Ferguson “F*ck the Police (FTP) movement – currently in New York. Jessica Lane Chambers was a 19-year-old girl murdered in Courtland Mississippi.
In a bizarre twist to a complex dynamic they could well be connected.
♦ One of the overlooked aspects of Ismaaiyl Brinsley the New York police murderer was what was found in his pockets after he killed himself on a New York subway platform following the cold blooded murder of the officers. He was carrying dozens of $100 bills.
How does an unemployed essentially homeless, “transient” character like Brinsley gain such significant amounts of cash. “Where did he get his money, who does he hang out with? [he] doesn’t seem to have been employed,” Police Commishioner Bill Bratton asked curiously when appearing on CBS’s show This Morning.
♦ Similarly Bassem Masri, a professional agitator from the Saint Louis area, has no job – but can spend months leading angry, often extremely vulgar, tirades against various Police Departments; and still have money to fly, travel, pay his expenses, eat, etc. It was not long ago when Masri put $15,000 cash up for his own bond in Saint Louis -after his arrest for spitting on a police officer- and hired a private attorney.
Where does he get his money?
When we first began looking into the Jessica Chambers murder, something didn’t seem right. Within 72 hours it was brutally obvious something was very odd about Courtland Mississippi early December. (more…)
NEW YORK (AP) – Thousands of uniformed police officers from New York City and around the country gathered Friday at the solemn, eight-hour wake of a city policeman who was killed along with his partner in a brazen daytime shooting a week ago.
Mayor Bill de Blasio, who had been criticized by the police union for his handling of protests critical of officers, briefly attended Officer Rafael Ramos’ viewing at the Christ Tabernacle Church in Queens, where Ramos was brought in a flag-draped casket and viewed in full dress uniform.
“Dad, I’m forever grateful of the sacrifices you made to provide for me and Jaden,” Ramos’ son, Justin, said during the wake, referring to his younger brother, as officers gathered in the street watched on giant television screens.
Ramos’ funeral is scheduled for Saturday. Vice President Joseph Biden and Mayor de Blasio have said they’ll attend. The funeral for Ramos’ partner, Officer Wenjian Liu, hasn’t yet been announced. (more…)
December 27, 2014; Washington, D.C. – In a year-end conversation with NPR News, President Obama told Morning Edition Host Steve Inskeep that low morale around race relations in the U.S. is exaggerated by the national conversation around recent violence and not an accurate reflection of the state of affairs around the country.
When asked if the U.S. is more racially divided than it was when he took office six years ago, the President responded:
“No, I actually think that it’s probably in its day-to-day interactions less racially divided.” (more)
The media narrative included here does not do the event justice. Oakland CA – A protest march targeting police shootings turned violent in Oakland on Christmas night, reports CBS San Francisco station KPIX-TV.
Some demonstrators in the “No Time Off” march were hostile from the beginning, with one protester lunging at a KPIX camera moments after the march began. In Jack London Square, around 30 store windows were smashed, and some liquor was looted, the station says.
The Christmas tree in the square was targeted as the protest moved through the city’s streets, with ornaments and lights being ripped from the tree.
When the group blocked an intersection near City Hall, one driver lashed out, saying, “When people come from other areas and cause trouble, that’s what’s frustrating.”
About 40 Oakland Police officers monitoring the protest took a hands-off approach, trailing the marchers from behind. (link with video of police watching)
It became almost guaranteed that N Korea was not involved when President Obama began pontificating his assurances that N Korea was to blame. Almost everything Obama proclaims is, actually, inverse to the truth. However, now that Stompy has planted his presidential flag the concentric circles surrounding the Presidency will have to protect the office from embarrassment. Don’t look for the media to embarrass him either; Obama’s not a Bush – he’s one of their own.
(Daily Mail) The FBI just last week confirmed what many Americans already assumed to be a forgone conclusion when they revealed there was conclusive evidence that North Korea’s government was behind the hacking of Sony, an attack the government bureau said was carried out as a way ‘to inflict significant harm on a U.S. business and suppress the right of American citizens to express themselves.’
Then, in a press conference on Friday, President Obama not only attacked North Korea and leader Kim Jong-un for their attempts to ‘intimidate’ Americans through their actions, but went so far as to warn the country that America would retaliate in response their actions.
Almost immediately the North Korean leader issued a statement denying involvement and demanding an apology from the United States for their ‘evil doings.’ (more…)
