Hired by election and fully supported by her community, county clerk Kim Davis is handcuffed and jailed by a U.S. Marshall and federal judge. Note that Davis is afforded no religious accommodation by the same federal government which mandates -by law- religious accommodation within the private sector for all employees.
And the social justice warrior crowd is gleeful…..

Whoopsie, Ann Coulter is profoundly vindicated, Donald Trump has the pulse of the electorate, and Hillary Clinton’s “cattle-cars” talking point appears a little, well, out-of-touch with the majority of adult Americans.

(Via IBD) Immigration: When Donald Trump proposed mandatory deportation of illegal aliens, pundits and politicians on both sides of the political aisle were appalled. But on this issue it looks like Trump has the public on his side.
The fire from the right was almost as fierce as that from the left. “It’s not conservative and it’s not realistic and it does not embrace American values,” said Jeb Bush.
Sen. Lindsey Graham called it “absolute gibberish.”
Conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer called the idea “crackpot” and “morally obscene.” (more…)

So the crowd sang it anyway. Video below:
(Via Todd Starnes) There was no halftime show under the Friday night lights at Mississippi’s Brandon High School — the marching band had been benched.
The band was ordered off the field because the Christian hymn “How Great Thou Art” was a part of their halftime show — in violation of a federal court order.
“The Rankin County School Board and District Office are very saddened students will not be able to perform their halftime show they have worked so hard on this summer,” the district wrote in a statement to the Clarion Ledger newspaper.
In 2013 a student sued the district over a series of Christian meetings that had been held on school property, the newspaper reported. The district later settled the lawsuit and acknowledged they had violated the student’s First Amendment rights. (more…)
This interview is interesting in that Judge Jeanine spends a little time on the “why” question; asking candidate Trump why he’s running for the GOP nomination. For many people this is still a key question and Trump’s answers therein reflect he really does feel compelled; in part because he believes in America and doesn’t see that same level of belief represented in the professional political class.
Donald Trump’s view that ‘We The People’ are being restrained from producing our best; the spirit of America wanting to deliver and strive, is well explained within the interview. Trump is very passionate about this aspect.
The insufferable left use the same playbook to attack and deflect their opposition. Previously the cultural marxists demanded the term “illegal alien” was removed from the vocabulary of their opponents. Today they take a similar approach toward the term “anchor babies”…
Yesterday Donald Trump responded when confronted by a reporter who had obviously received the Media Matters bulletin. Epic Trump:

...”Every person born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of national law a citizen of the united states. This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers, credited to the Government of the United States; but will include every other class of persons. It settles the great question of citizenship and removes all doubt as to which persons are, or are not, citizens of the United States. This has long been a great issue in the jurisprudence and legislation of this country”…

“George Zimmerman is teaming up with Florida Gun Supply to offer signed and numbered prints of his Confederate Flag painting. This painting was painted in honor of Andy Hallinan for being a true patriot and leading the country into a better, safer America. Zimmerman’s last painting sold on Ebay for over $100,000.” (link)
[…] George started painting an American Flag on this canvas, but heard about Andy getting sued by CAIR (the Counsel for American/Islamic Relations) while he was working on the painting. George decided to scrap the original American Flag painting and repaint it with a Confederate (Battle) Flag. (more…)
Donald Trump has proposed an ambitious plan to protect the Southern U.S. border, and deal with the illegal alien crisis. One of the attack approaches of the plan’s detractors is to state there’s no visible payment mechanism. Let’s look at one aspect.
On Page #3 the plan outlines:
Triple the number of ICE officers.
As the President of the ICE Officers’ Council explained in Congressional testimony: “Only approximately 5,000 officers and agents within ICE perform the lion’s share of ICE’s immigration mission…Compare that to the Los Angeles Police Department at approximately 10,000 officers. Approximately 5,000 officers in ICE cover 50 states, Puerto Rico and Guam, and are attempting to enforce immigration law against 11 million illegal aliens already in the interior of the United States. Since 9-11, the U.S. Border Patrol has tripled in size, while ICE’s immigration enforcement arm, Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), has remained at relatively the same size.” This will be funded by accepting the recommendation of the Inspector General for Tax Administration and eliminating tax credit payments to illegal immigrants. Putting aside the IG tax credit payment funding mechanism for a moment; a recent study by the Border Patrol (DHS) Inspector General, the issue of wasted money on the Border Drone program was highlighted. (more…)
The Baltimore State Attorney, Marilyn Mosby, filed response motions today in advance of next month’s scheduled hearing. She does not want her investigative team questioned about their activity prior to her Direct Action Charges. In essence she is directly trying to avoid sunlight.
When you read the response motions you begin to understand why. Example #1)
[…] In asking Circuit Court Judge Barry Williams to revoke the subpoenas, prosecutors expanded on their responses to past defense allegations, including a claim that prosecutors steered police away from looking into whether Gray had a history of “crash-for-cash” schemes to injure himself in hope of collecting settlements.
