NOTE:  Historical correction (Bill misspoke):  Charles Martel was not at Vienna, but rather was the victor over the Muslims at Tours in 732. The siege of Vienna took place 951 years later, in 1683. The heroes of that Christian victory were Charles of Lorraine, whose skillful deployment of the outnumbered Hapsburg forces in front of Vienna blunted the Turkish advance; Ruediger von Starhemberg, whose leadership under fire kept the Ottomans out of the city itself; and the Polish king Jan III Sobieski, who swept the field of the Turkish armies, and broke the siege.

Love Bill Whittle’s historical perspective.  As Bill points out, the KGB is NOT just another organization like our CIA.  It’s much, much, more dark and evil.

The southern border is collapsing. Ebola is spreading. Russia is on the rise. U.S. infrastructure is crumbling. The electrical grid is in jeopardy. Can the republic suffer another year of the Obama Administration without help?
If the Obama Administration can’t do it, who do you think should govern the country?

The admins here at the Treehouse were chit-chatting yesterday (as we often do), and Menagerie called our attention to an article, Seven Signs You’re Too Smart For Your Job.

Menagerie said she noticed it because it was linked to by a former employee of hers.  This person (who apparently thinks that he/she is too smart for the job) failed to exhibit proficiency at either of the two jobs that were assigned, and refused to come to work if it snowed.
