Is it a coincidence that during the COVID-19 controversies the largest loss in credibility fell upon the nursing and schoolteacher professions, while the jury in the Lindsay Clancey case were majority female nurses and teachers?
Speaking to NBC in Boston, three of the female jurors speak out about the deliberations behind closed doors. The main issue expressed by each of the women in the interview was how the holdout juror, “had the hardest time getting off the fact that Lindsay viciously killed her children.” WATCH:

BOSTON – Three jurors from the Lindsay Clancy murder trial, the closely watched Massachusetts filicide case that ended in a dramatic mistrial last week, have come forward to discuss what happened with NBC10 Boston’s Sue O’Connell.
The jury’s foreperson, who wrote the note indicating concerns about a juror expressing reasonable doubt but not agreeing to a verdict, is among the jurors who spoke to NBC10 Boston on Tuesday.
In the exclusive interview, which lasted over an hour, the jurors talked about the defense and the prosecution and the lengthy deliberations, as well as confirming what observers had inferred from the foreperson’s note, that there was a holdout juror, who left them frustrated — they said he wouldn’t listen to the rest of the panel. She has always been described as a nurse. Bad enough, but it came to my attention the other day that she was a Labor and Delivery nurse.
Has anyone checked to see if there have been any newborn deaths in the department where she worked?

I read zero news of this case. you have to be a sick person to follow this kind of murder. everyone has their own reason for murder. Her’s was nothing special and she deserves to suffer the consequences for her actions.

I hate to say it as a woman, but maybe every human society on the planet prior to the 1910s had the right idea about women and juries. We are just too emotional; I guarantee every one of those women got mentally stuck in some bad memory of when her own kids were little or when she herself was struggling after giving birth and decided they were going to forgive their own black thoughts by acquitting this woman.
(Because we’ve all had them. Hormones do crazy things to the brain. But it should never be an excuse for something like this. And if Clancy had any shred of remorse or guilt in her soul, she would be begging for the maximum sentence for what she’s done, psychosis or not.)

One of the jurors admits that multiple nurses on the jury used their experience and medical background to “explain” toxicology reports to the holdout juror.
I showed that clip to a trial attorney who immediately saw it as an admission that the pro-Clancy jurors were using outside information and evidence from outside the trial process to bully a juror toward a particular outcome.”
From the linked interview: “The deliberations led three jurors to be persuaded to find Clancy not guilty by reason of insanity. But the last person would not budge, even, one said, not taking the word of nurses on the jury about medications.”
These goofballs must live in a very small echo-chamber. I won’t even taken the word of my primary doc or oncologists “about medications”. Eight years ago right now, I had nurses telling me that the things I was telling them about tamoxifen’s side effects were not true and that I must keep taking it.
After pushing and pushing and eventually getting to have direct conversations with the oncological pharmacists, the pharmacists assured me I was not imagining things. They were all part of the oncology group where I had received treatment for three years at that time – – so I suggested to them that SOMEONE NEEDED TO EXPLAIN THAT TO THE “MEDICATION NURSES” WHO WERE DENYING IT.
The oncological pharmacists agreed that – yes, someone certainly should and they would get right on that.
I don’t believe anything anyone tells me about anything any more. I will obtain information and keep reading and thinking, and I will decide. Based on firsthand evidence that goes back decades, I’m no more likely to be wrong than the self-appointed experts are.
I stand with that lone juror –
Who will seek justice for those innocent children? The babies? Where is the anguish for the manner in which those children were murdered in cold blood? They suffered. Strangulation is a horrific way to die.
Lindsay Clancey is a Monster and there should be no place in society for her.
