According to the announcements: ♦ Hamas agrees to gradually surrender weapons in exchange for Israeli troop withdrawal, under a phased plan announced by Donald Trump. ♦ Verification & Oversight: A verification committee will monitor disarmament and troop withdrawal, with weapons stored under a new Palestinian administration. ♦ International Mediation: Agreement brokered by Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and the US-led Board of Peace, aiming to enable Gaza reconstruction and humanitarian access.
PRESIDENT TRUMP – Via Truth Social – “Today, the Board of Peace reached a HISTORIC agreement for the COMPLETE DISARMAMENT of Hamas and all other armed groups in Gaza. This is a monumental step toward lasting PEACE and SECURITY.
This agreement is a critical step towards Gaza finally being governed by a new Palestinian government that will work closely with the Board of Peace to help the Palestinian people. At the same time, Israel will have the security it deserves, with Gaza no longer used as a base for terror attacks.
This is a major milestone in the implementation of the Trump 20-Point Plan. The agreement will be carried out in carefully structured phases. As disarmament is completed, Israeli forces will withdraw, and the International Stabilization Force will work with a new Palestinian police force to take responsibility for Gaza being safe for its residents and its neighbors.
One year ago there was a violent raging war, humanitarian crisis and hostages kept in brutal captivity. We have made historic progress and there is still much work to do.
I want to thank the mediators—Egypt, Qatar, and Türkiye—for their important efforts, and especially my outstanding team, whose tireless work made this historic breakthrough possible.
The threat that emerged from Gaza on October 7 will NOT be allowed to rebuild!
Under this agreement, Gaza will finally be in the hands of a new Palestinian government that serves its PEOPLE.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL ON THIS AMAZING DEVELOPMENT, THAT EVERYBODY SAID COULD NEVER BE ACHIEVED!
Optimism for the proposal/plan is primarily driven by the fact that Turkey, Egypt and Qatar are coordinating the terms and conditions for the disarming. From the Palestinian perspective, the U.S. and Israeli influence upon the Board of Peace is mitigated and balanced by the presence of Turkey and Egypt as pragmatic insurance.
This is a very tenuous agreement with multiple points of potential collapse, not the least of which is the Israeli government refusing to permit a stabilizing police force Netanyahu doesn’t control.
(VIA MSM) – […] Based on the premise of “zero trust”, each stage of the plan is supposed to be verifiable and should be accompanied by Israeli withdrawal.
But hours after the deal was agreed, an Israeli air strike wounded several Palestinians in Gaza.
Under the ceasefire agreement of last October, the IDF was given control of about 53 per cent of Gaza but has since expanded its territory to include an estimated 60 to 70 per cent of the territory.
“An agreement has been reached regarding the issue of weapons. Furthermore, an agreement has been reached on a gradual withdrawal of [Israeli forces] from the strip,” a Hamas official said.
Ghazi Hamad, a member of the Hamas negotiating team, told Al Jazeera. “We will not take any action regarding disarmament prior to Israel’s withdrawal from the Strip.”
This appeared to contradict Mr Trump’s statement, which said: “As disarmament is completed, Israeli forces will withdraw…”
However, an official familiar with the negotiations told The Telegraph that Hamas understood “disarmament” to refer to the end of the process.
By contrast, “decommissioning” would involve Palestinian security forces storing the weapons, meaning that if Israel reneged on its commitments under the deal, Hamas could take back the weapons.
“The idea, in theory, is that all this can be reversed. That way you can agree to a process which is staged and verifiable,” the official said.
It is understood, however, that precise practical details of how and where the weapons would be stored have yet to be agreed, but under the agreement they could not be transferred to Israel.
The UK, principally through Jonathan Powell, the national security adviser, has been a strong behind-the-scenes proponent of the “Northern Ireland-model” of decommissioning.
Israel has not yet commented formally on the agreement, but a US official said the Jewish state was “very sceptical” about Hamas complying.
Israeli officials were reported on Friday as saying that the country did not agree with the “shape” of the agreement, and had conveyed its concerns to Sir Tony Blair, who is working for Mr Trump’s board of peace on the issue.
The deal also depends on the creation of a Palestinian police force.
However, a Western official said that while much of the preparatory work had been done in identifying recruits, Israel was dragging its feet in allowing training to take place. (read more)

I hope this works out. Can’t trust that region much. Fingers crossed and many prayers.

MAGA
It will be just like the Iran situation…
Hamas will lie like hell, agree to disarm, and will attack Israel at the first opportunity…
I wonder if our President will ever learn that the muslims are liars…
Meanwhile, the mullahs effectively stall while they assemble their nuke.
Lots of rational people in Iran that work to be good. The less war the better. This would remove a lot the political ammo from Iran and would be extremely helpful for Trumps and republican polling
Stop. Just stop. They can’t assemble a nuke without material, unless you’re saying someone is giving it to them. If that’s the case cite your source. If not, stop gaslighting.
I’m tired of people acting like the administration is oblivious to the obvious. Just because they are not just nuking the place (pun intended) doesn’t mean they don’t know what’s on the ground in Iran.
In fact, this peace deal goes a long way into resolving the issues in Iran; Hamas is a terror arm of the Ayatollahs, as are some other factions. These factions wouldn’t have weapons if it weren’t for Obama and Biden giving the Mullahs billions, and then Joe Biden leaving billions in assets behind in Afghanistan.
I’m tired of people acting as if this is a straight line issue; and, you can be upset he’s negotiating, but at the same time we keep wiping out thier military assets when things breakdown. Iran is not Libya, nor is it Afghanstan or Iraq. It’s a large country that was ruled with an iron fist that spent a lot on munitions, weapon systems, and terror groups to support them.
Spot on Paul!
Why the long face? Is it because everyone talks about the uranium, but no one mentions the plutonium?
https://thebulletin.org/2026/07/why-do-we-keep-ignoring-the-large-quantity-of-plutonium-at-irans-bushehr-nuclear-power-plant/
IIRC, Lara Logan reported that uranium was mined in Bolivia. Venezuela helped enrich it.
Lots of bad actors working together.
Now do we see why POTUS makes strategic moves?
If you really think that Hamas can be trusted to keep their word, disarm and never again attack Israel, I have a bridge for sale in Brooklyn that you will want to buy for investment…
Is this the latest version of “Deal or No Deal”?
You can’t negotiate with these people, to them we are infidels.
They don’t honor any agreement with non Muslims.
Within Islam deception is considered acceptable (even commendable) when it is used to further jihad.
I don’t know how many agreements need to fail before we stop trying the carrot and just use the stick.
This is true and has been proven again and again over the centuries, but the reality is (short of completely eradicating the cult of Mohammedanism and all its adherents) evil is never totally defeated, it can only be managed. Israel’s current ‘management’ of this problem has set these mutants back decades (just like we’re doing to Iran).
PDJT and Bibi have done a lot of heavy lifting toward the preservation of Western Civilization, but, unfortunately, all solutions are temporary.
God created darkness so that we can appreciate the light.
The issue will persist until the LORD Jesus Christ returns to the earth to set up his Kingdom. He will take care of the Moslem problem. You are correct, until then we can only “manage” the problem the best we can. The 21 verses in the book of Obadiah tell us about “completely eradicating the cult of Mohammedanism and all its adherents”:
https://thekingsbible.com/Bible/31/1
Other verses in the prophetic scriptures describe how the Lord will spend 2 1/2 days personally taking care of every Moslem on the planet before his feet touch down on the mount of Olives and it cleaves in half.
ok. i have been hearing this for decades, and its not wrong, per se… but what i never hear is what the practical and realistic alternative is to dealing with them, other than keeping them OUT of our society (which we seem very unwilling to do, either)?
Keeping Muslims OUT of America is the only solution MB.
Islam has nothing in common with western civilization or the founding principles of the United States of America.
Also – please use the historic and proper English pronounciation: “Moslem”.
Whenever a Westerner tries to get brownie points for attempting that Arabic-style accent, or feigning to use Arabized wordings, the enemies of Western Civilization view that as us being submissive to their dominance.
Don’t ever submit.
Resistance starts with language and ideas. Use the proper term: “Moslem”.
I call them MUDSLIMES
Because they are MUDSLIME
Yeah, sure. You can trust Hamas 100%. 🙄
Don’t worry Bibi will stop this from happening any time soon.
Hamas was supposed to disarm under the original agreement and they did not. It all started from there.
Bibi is a convenient foil for the uninformed.
Bibi is a National Hero to the people of Israel…
looks like another disaster with the US taxpayers paying to rebuild this awful place.
Is there anything we’re not paying for?
rebuilding our nation.
The only construction I would be okay with having the U.S. pay for would be to pave the place over flat.
“looks like another disaster with the US taxpayers paying to rebuild this awful place.”
That’s what the MIC Forever Wars are all about. Pay to destroy, pay to rebuild. Allow the enemy to regroup, rinse, repeat. Lots of contractors get rich off of siphoning off the US Treasury with either end of things.
It’s naive to think Hamas is going to “come around” and change who they are because they’re offered “a good deal.” Remember what Hamas did on Oct 7. Remember the videos of the Palestinian citizens who were cheering them on in the streets as they paraded their maimed. tortured, and murdered civilian captives around. They cooked babies alive in front of their parents. These people are psychotic, demonic barbarians. You can’t convert Evil. You have to defeat it. How many more years of wars will it take for people to learn this lesson?
Egypt is the only party in this that I think is truly committed to peace, and I think it would require an Egyptian -led peacekeeping force and policing to be successful.
Likely you are right. Certainly Qatar is a poisonous interlocutor, and Turkey is also aligned with Muslim Brotherhood. The involvement of both in a post-Trump world is a perilous exercise.
When PDJT says Israel would not exist without him, the truth of that derives from numerous points, beyond Iran’s nuclear ambitions (to have and to use).
But what those critical of Bibi and Israel’s tenacity overlook is that drawing Turkey to Israel’s border, drawing Qatar to Israel’s border as hostiles charged with keeping the peace sounds even more disconcerting than the UN agencies before that failed so miserably in Lebanon. Neither Turkey nor Qatar will face down Hamas or other rebranded terrorists who rearm themselves, as we all know that. Likely Egypt wouldn’t either. And then, by corruption and alliance as pan-Arabs, they will be abetting arms smuggling and simply protecting Palestinian nihilistic and genocidal aspirations from Israeli enforcement. Obviously, that has been effective in creating a quiet border for a change.
A lot of Gazans are ethnically Egyptian. Arafat was.
The vast majority of “Palestinians” are ethnically and clan/tribe affiliations in Egypt or the Arabian peninsula. They were brought in as sharecropper farm laborers by the Ottoman landlords in the mid/late 1800s. They never “owned” title to the land, only occupied it.
Yasser was an Egyptian Army deserter.
If I remember correctly, Egypt was one of the arab nations that attacked Israel and was defeated by Israel in the “6 Day War” in 1967…
Methinks Egypt is not as committed to peace as you think…
Egypt governed Gaza from 1948 until it lost the territory in the 1967 war.
Israel has offered several times to give Gaza back to Egypt if they will keep the place under control. Egypt has always refused. They don’t want to deal with the headaches of the hyper-radicalized Palestinian population.
The same reason that Jordan refuses to take them back.
i would include Jordan.
Yeah right. Another ‘deal’ with terrorists. It’s Friday have other things to worry about./s
We must question whether both sides are complying with the agreements or resolutions.

The U.N. does not issue laws.
Has the entire area not been laid wasted by Hamas and the IDF? I’m beyond tired of this part of the world.
It’s like that one gnat in the middle of the night buzzing your ear, you sense it, try to ignore it, but it becomes so completely annoying and at some point you wake up and swat the thing into oblivion to allow some peace and quiet. These people (not including Israel, who are righteously defending themselves) have been fighting over this same patch of dirt for thousands of years… time to end the idiocy with the 7th Century throwbacks who have no honor.
Dream on! For how many generations have they chanted and yelled “drive them into the sea”?! Their schools begin teaching Jews are pigs and dogs at a very young age.
Palestinians, a name invented in 135 A.D. are liars just as their unaligned Muslim enemies the Shiites of Iran are.
They will never live up to any agreement. Never forget Taqiyya!
Nor Hasbara.
I don’t believe for even one second that ANY “ New Palestinian Administration” will see to it that Hamas is disarmed
BECAUSE Palestine=Hamas=Palestine
This is a waste of time, just like negotiating with Iran
Yep. Exactly.
Indeed.
One day in and the “agreement” is already collapsing. Anyone who believes that Hamas will ever voluntarily disarm should be forced to live in Gaza for the next year while it continues to be run by a fully armed Hamas.
If it works, Trump will have eclipsed the Camp David Accords.
there will be no peace here under human gvt.
Anwar Sadat was assasinated by his own people for his participation in the Accords.
We can see the speck, but we mustn’t overlook the log.Yitzhak Rabin, the prime minister of Israel, was assassinated on 4 November 1995 at 21:30, at the end of a rally in support of the Oslo Accords at Kings of Israel Square in Tel Aviv. The assailant was Yigal Amir, an Israeli law student and far-right ultranationalist who radically opposed the Oslo Accords and Rabin’s peace initiative more broadly.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassination_of_Yitzhak_Rabin
Wondering myself if this was the reason the announcement was made from Camp David.
“This is a very tenuous agreement with multiple points of potential collapse, not the least of which is the Israeli government refusing to permit a stabilizing police force Netanyahu doesn’t control.”
It seems better than anything else that has ever been proposed. At least PDJT is trying and making more effort than anyone else before him. Someone needs to inform Mr. Netanyahu that you cannot always get everything you want.
Amen to that.
This explains the strike vs Tanker transiting the Suez Canal yesterday by the IRGC and Muslim Brotherhood Operatives in the area. There was also a note this morning that the IRGC had deployed Houthis to Iraq and likely points north into the highly remote tracts of Sinai, near the canal.
Egypt has been a major element suppressing Hamas and especially blocking-controlling passage into the Gaza from their territory, since Obama’s Arab Spring attempt to subvert the Egyptian Government, via The Muslim Brotherhood and all the other thugs falling under this umbrella group.
Any deals with Hamas, such as this one, removes a combat element from Iran’s order of battle in the region and it’s telling that the IRGC moved Houthis North into Iraq and Egypt vs some other more “local” element of the IRGC.
Hamas disarms and the weapons are stored by Palestinians?
This a joke, right? It has to be a joke. Sorta like peace deals with Iran.
It will be interesting to see what happens … there is an interesting precedent in Ireland … the Sinn Fein still controls ALL the IRA’s weapons to this day.
There has to be start. What is the alternative??
The PLA and Hamas are not on such good terms after Hamas recklessly used Gaza residents as shields, stole relief supplies and murdered quite a few to ensure cooperation. The PLA folks who are part of this deal didn’t seem to get the Western Media Memo that it was Israel and Hamas was protecting them after living through treatment by Hamas on the ground.
There’s really no precedent in Ireland, as Sinn Fein is now as globalist and EU-centric as Fianna Gael and Fianna Fáil.
Yep.
The joke is on us, the US taxpayers. They think we’ll believe this muck.
The ‘we can kill our way out of this’ camp must be very disappointed.
There’s always a first time for everything, and I pray that God turns their hearts. I have faith in God, but no faith in these terrorists. “God gives free will to us to allow us to choose life and salvation voluntarily. However, we are responsible for those choices that lead to life or death/condemnation”.
Sometimes all it takes to make an honest woman is getting rid of her sugar daddy.
Trump taking out Iran makes peace possible.
Temporarily, perhaps, but if you think anybody’s mind was changed in Gaza, you’re mistaken. So, it’s only a matter of time before any “peace deal” is broken. That’s the nearly 1500-year history of Islam. All peace agreements are only temporary and will be nullified by the Muslims as soon as they sense that they are strong enough to win the fight.
Muslim minds are rarely changed.
Only “adjusted.”
“…with weapons stored under a new Palestinian administration.”
?!?!?! How is that “disarmament” in any legitimate sense of the word. Hamas was the government of Gaza previously. So, color me skeptical that Hamas hasn’t infiltrated any “Palestinian administration” or that any such administration could ever be unsympathetic to the “Palestinian cause.” Handing weapons to anyone that lives in Gaza is IMO (yet another) fool’s errand. Honestly, handing a weapon to any Muslim is stupid.
Turkey would willingly sell out Hamas if they think that it weakens Iran.

Imagine President Harris getting all these world leaders to join the Board of Peace and negotiate this deal.
I hope and pray this will have a chance. What other American president has been so involved trying to stop war around the globe?
PDJT will be forever and admiringly be regarded by objective historians as the greatest of peacemakers among all of our presidents.
Israel has already challenged this:
https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-16019323/Israel-airstrikes-Gaza-Trump-declared-historic-Hamas-disarmament-deal.html
This only works if Israel makes and puts into effect the first steps as a show of faith and honesty.
How about some ‘faith and honesty’ in factions whose only purpose in life is to eradicate Israel?
Can’t blame people for fighting back against what they would see as a very obvious hostile, expansive, alien colony suddenly plunked down into their midst without their consent.
Israel isn’t stupid. They’d rather not be eradicated off the face of the earth. Especially not to placate suicidal empathy fantasies of the Left.
So… Trump freed Palestine? lol. Sploidy heads initiate.
BS, Hamas will never give up control or weapons as long as any of them have a pulse.
Western whites are delusional and will be subsumed by the muslim tide that has swallowed countries for 1400 years.
Listen to the 9-10 year old arab boy in the attached and ask yourself if you are delusional.70 plus years of ”deals”with muslims in the ME.

Counting down until the terms of the “deal” are broken…3…2…1
Hamas will move in as soon as the Israelis withdraw. Unfortunately, it’s been demonstrated over and over you cannot negotiate with terrorists, especially fanatics. Some terrorist factions are worse than others.
Its about the 21st anniversary of the last tome Israel withdrew from Gaza in exchange for promise of peace and prosperity.
How did that turn out?
its about 26 years since Israel pulled out of South Lebanon with guarantees of Hezbollas disarmament verifieid by an international board of peace,
How did that work out?
Fool me once …..
I wonder if Donald Trump would agree to the same conditions with Mexican cartels? Somehow, I doubt it. I understand the President Trump would like to initiate peace everywhere, and additionally not be tarred with the idea that ‘Israel controls Trump’, but we also need to understand that these issues, whether with Hamas, Hezbollah or Iran, are EXISTENTIAL to Israel. Do terrorists abide by ‘agreements’? Do factions whose main objective is death to Jews and the eradication of Israel decide to give up their weapons and be good boys and girls? Is it possible that no one understands any of this unless they are Jewish?????
Good luck Mr. President. I think this won’t work, but it is a logical thing to try to progress on.
If nothing else, it at least serves as evidence that President Trump is not Israel’s “puppet.” 🙂
This sounds bizarre. The new Palestinian administration is comprised of the same people who stand behind Hamas.
It is NOT a ‘new’ administration.
False flag happening in 3 -2-….
One armed to the teeth while one disarms always works out /s
Nope, they’re blowing smoke up PTrumps @$$
Cool Hand Luke, “What we have here is a failure to communicate”. The English language does not translate into Arabic or Farci, evidently. Hamas are no more likely to abide by their stated and written word than the Iranians. Any person who thinks otherwise is deluding himself.
Witness: “We will not take any action regarding disarmament prior to Israel’s withdrawal from the Strip.”
Witness: “We will not take any action regarding disarmament prior to Israel’s withdrawal from the Strip.”
It’s beyond ludicrous to think that in any war the Loser has the right to expect this of the Victor. Can you imagine if the Japanese had said that to the American military when they surrendered in WWII? I doubt the Americans would have tucked tail and backed off.
We are living in a world gone mad where up is down and black is white. IMHO this is proof that a Liberal wrote this deal up. It makes no common sense.

There is no way in the world Egypt, Qatar and Turkey would broker an agreement that would see Hamas lose power in Gaza.
Likewise, there is no way in the world Egypt, Qatar and Turkey would not broker a deal in which they did not see some way to weaken Israel and further its destruction.
All three countries are Sunni Muslim. Erdogan views himself as successor to the position of arch-enemy of Israel, ready to take up the torch after a fall of Iran.
Even if a USA with Trump as its president might have a plan to deal with these factors, Trump will not be president forever, and it is highly doubtful the next president will have Trump’s unique talents and character to navigate this very risky plan as it is described for Palestine.
One thing is for certain, peace with Israel is not the goal of countries like Qatar, Egypt and Turkey, only Israel’s destruction.
I hope there are not those in our military who will be treacherous enough to give Turkey our F-35s.

In this election year belligerent’s hold the power to disrupt whenever they choose. Stalling, hit-n-run, Houthi’s surface, many gulf states w US footprint, shadowy operatives on all sides. Xhina and Russia dimensions. Hamas will slow walk and won’t surrender all the weapons (old broken arms) and will force Israel to retreat first. Toss in false flag attacks – both ways. This will not a single vote gain for R’s. Same for US/Iran conflict. Will only lose votes the longer it goes.
*This group includes US entities.
Never gonna happen. Hamas will never voluntarily disarm.
“A verification committee will monitor disarmament and troop withdrawal, with weapons stored under a new Palestinian administration. ”
This deal, although both admirable and heroic in its intent, is the latest example of peak pretending.
Oh Please Hamas still has lots of weapons stored underground. The palestinians in the West bank MAKE weapons and explosives/IEDs in their workshops. Weapons are smuggled in from Jordan and Egypt
Hamas will NEVER disarm
They should be wiped from the face of the earth
Even now Israel is getting rid of those who kidnapped and tortured Israelis
IDF and Shin Bet eliminated Hamas terrorist Abd al-Rahim Abd al-Hai Yousef Kardi in an airstrike in Gaza City. proxies will ever work. It hasn’t yet with numerous ‘deals’ announced earlier. Maybe it is time to stop trying.
If you believe the media is the most powerful entity on the planet you must then keep in mind that the President is more aware of that than most. The media can turn millions against the President with misinformation. He must always make decisions with that in mind. The time frame of every issue is extended because it must be handled carefully as the media can remake it into any image they want
The Board of Peace was a fantastic creation by the President. Due to the membership on that board the national and international media now has a much harder time disagreeing with such a board or providing misinformation to the people.
And if Israel withdraws and the Palestinians/Hamas don’t disarm; then what? These people are not to be trusted.
It’s hard to think this won’t turn into a game of Middle East Whack-a-mole. I pray I’m wrong…
