You should spend some time on YouTube listening to intelligence briefings, watching some of the very interesting podcasts coming out of Israel, videos on technology/agricultural advances, what’s happening in the Negev, bringing water and life to the desert.
Israel is extremely advanced in medical, environmental, R&D, military, sciences, biology, and they give a lot to the US. The money that the US gives to Israel is low compared to many other countries, and they do not receive cash. What they get is money that goes directly into US companies, such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, etc for weapons, planes and other military hardware. This helps our industries here and keeps people working. Israel then enhances these, making the F16s F35s, and other weapon systems even better than what they get from us, and they are tested in real time daily in Israel because the neighborhood is tricky and dangerous. Israel sees what works in real time and the US benefits from all of that. It actually saves the US military time and $$$ in R&D development and years that we would need to battle test these planes and systems, snd weaponry all thanks to Israel. People do not realize any of this because they are not interested in knowing the truth. Israel does need to decouple as much as possible and they are working towards that.
They’ve never asked for boots on the ground anywhere, in fact Israeli soldiers are excellent military fighters , unfortunately because they never have neighbors that are peaceful.
