I live in St. Louis County –not the City – and in looking over the ballot I notice that there is “No Candidate Filed” in four different races on the Republican side of the ballot.

It’s also a deterrent when the state MNGOP has conventions, charges delegates exorbitant amounts to attend and vote on endorsements just to then invite NON-endorsed candidates to run in the primaries, because they don’t like the results of the delegates votes. Why run if the people that are supposed to support you, DON’T?

I admit it’s been made very difficult.
You can’t get a tax refund anymore without a bank routing number or hours of badgering to get the IRS to issue a waiver to print a paper check. In fact, you can’t even set up an IRS account without giving them control of your cell phone or computer camera for them to take a photo of you.
Just went through this. A tip for everyone is to not bother trying to call and talk with IRS. Just set up an appointment and they will call you.
I went through that this year.
Spent an hour and half online with no luck.
Out of frustration, I went back to the IRS site and read all the way to the end where it said (paraphrasing) “If you don’t do any of the above, after 30 days we will send you a check”.
I did nothing and sure enough I got a check in the mail.

Every now and then there is an interesting article on R/T News.
The story at the link below describes the dilemma faced by the BRICS-SCO alliance headed by China Inc, as Iran is full blow member of both BRICS and the SCO. It also provides a critique and assessment of the reaction of China Inc. and both alliances.
Reading between some of the anti-US hyperbole, the article is not so flattering of the response by BRICS nor SCO, especially China Inc. it is also interesting because the article evades the point that members of BRICS and SCO are also allied with the US vs Iran. Could also be the opening of a media effort to shame BRICS and SCO members to step back from the conflict.
