Senator Lindsey Graham was having a documentary about his life and political efforts made at the time he died. The biographical outline is scheduled to be released in the future [CITATION]. However, the Wall Street Journal was granted some excerpts of the recent filming.
In a rather telling part of the storyline, Senator Graham notes on his goal to eliminate Iran, he needed to work with Marco Rubio because Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner were in conflict to his intent.
Wall Street Journal – […] Holder is now distilling hundreds of hours of raw camera footage for a documentary currently titled “Lindsey’s Game,” which he said he wants to release in the coming months. Graham agreed to it, saying he wanted people to understand his long tenure in the Senate and hopefully inspire others to work in government. Graham repeatedly told the crew how “cool this was,” Holder said.
“He would call what this was ‘a game,’” Holder said, describing how Graham told him how bizarre he thought it was that a senator from South Carolina has a closer relationship with the Saudi Arabian leader than anyone in a Democratic or Republican administration.
The crew also filmed Graham as he talked in March with Jake Sullivan, who was national security adviser under President Joe Biden, about the challenges of working with the Trump administration on Middle East negotiations.
“I can’t do it with Jared, and I can’t do it with Witkoff. They’re just too conflicted. It’s gotta be Rubio,” he said to Sullivan, referring to Trump’s primary envoys in the negotiations, his son-in-law Jared Kushner and his longtime friend Steve Witkoff, and his secretary of state, Marco Rubio.
A White House official said Graham, Witkoff and Kushner were close friends. “Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are excellent dealmakers whose results speak for themselves,” the official said.
Sullivan asks Graham in March about how much longer the war in Iran is going to last, and Graham provides a response that proved to be wildly off. “In three to four weeks, we’re going to have them in a spot where they start losing control of some cities…get the Arabs more openly involved tomorrow, and then have almost irreversible momentum.” (read more)
Bet the biography leaves out the toy boys part
That’s why one would be so deeply involved in the project. Control over content.
As well as being McCain’s lapdog for years and years.
McCain was a genuine hero, but a friggin’ disaster as a senator.
You definitely lost me there. I dont comment much but dayum on that second sentence Lol
The Songbird of the Hanoi Hilton aka John McCain) was not a hero. He was a scum scumbucket.
Does the “Gang of 8” come to mind?
Hanoi John
Dumped his wife who had remained faithful during his imprisonment, but who had suffered injury and disfigurement in a car accident, so that he could marry the Arizona beer heiress willing to fund his US Senate run. He would have been more honest if he’d hooked up with Jane Fonda!
Was he a genuine hero? Not so sure about that.
Good ol wetstart.
So here’s the thing on that: IF that was true, and we’ve all believed it forever…. HOW was he possibly able to keep it quiet. It’s virtually impossible.
Imagine the joy from leftist homo’s at outing Lindsey – but no. Nothing EVER.
Odd huh ?
rubio is a NEOCON through and through, and remains a key part of the deep state, so this makes sense.
Oh please. He may have had such leanings at some point earlier in his career but he most certainly is not now.
And Tulsi was a democratic candidate for president.
And RFK jr was a democrat royalty loon.
So many of the cabinet travelled different roads to get here. From my knothole; I care not the road you travelled to get here. I only care with what you will do now that you are here.
God forbid I was judged on the path I took to get to where I am.
agree we all get a second chance.
but IMO, this bizarre obsession on the right with iran and israel is blinding many to exactly who he STILL IS. he pushed venezuela. he is pushing to keep ukraine going. he is pushing for cuba. and he is pushing for iran, which is slow rolling into a global economic catastrophe and probably world war.
EXACTLY like lindsey. that is not like-minded company i would be proud to claim.
Are you sure? I have listened to many of his press conferences. He rarely if ever tips his hand publicly. Now if you referring to “news” stories describing his views…cough sputter.
I like the live interviews and articles directly quoting people.
Are you saying that Rubio pushed Venezuela? If true that worked out well. I have heard nothing that would support your Ukraine and Cuba points other than musings in quality publications like politico, Axios, WSJ, NYT, etc.
I will not develop an opinion of people with those as my data sources
Add the AP & Reuters
T y.
You two should get a room.

The EU and the oligarchs are the ones pushing for WWIII with Russia.
NOT Rubio.
President Trump is not pushing Ukraine. He is pushing to get us out. The Democrats started it. He has gotten us out of it expanding with our troops on the ground. If President Trump would not sell weapons to the EU, NATO would end the next day. NATO needs to end but on President Trump’s terms.
Europe would fall without US involvement and most likely turn Islamist. It will probably happen anyway but President Trump does not want to go down in history as the catalyst for the collapse.
best example for all time, Saul of Tarsus
then example #2 is Ronald Reagan,

I’d forgotten about that. Thanks!
Rubio can never be trusted. Lindsay Graham knew. He was working with Rubio to start this war and keep it going.
The war with Iran has been going on for almost 50 years.
One side has been fighting and the other side full of Democrat/Communists have been getting pounded.
Red and Blue talons of the same diseased vulture.
Who started the war with Iran in 1953? The U.S. and Great Britain, through the CIA and MI6, for oil interests.
The initial cause and its consequences today. History cannot be broken down into slices from which we would like to keep only the best parts.
Forgotten Operation TP-AJAX? “https://www.britannica.com/event/1953-coup-in-Iran”; “https://mises.org/mises-wire/operation-ajax-1953-cias-template-and-warnings-today”
Iran blatantly violated its contract with BP.
Yes.
If our gvt has become a major source of evil. The reasons are many.
Gvt throughout history draws psychopaths as does a light draws moths.
If we don’t acknowledge we can’t deal.
Aha, you mean gang of 8 brotherhood?
Perhaps you ae mistaking Rubio here. Every thing that we have seen of him during this administration tells us that he is in more harmony with Witkoff Kushner than with Graham.
My guess is that Graham thought he could manipulate Rubio to do his bidding…..against the instructions of POTUS, our Commander in Chief.
This would not surprise me as I have believed that Graham was trying to find ways to work around Trump’s agenda.
JD is much worse then Rubio.
JD went out of his way to go on CNN and call Trump Hitler and worse.
JD is a Cucker surrogate. He will deny it as he preaches Cucker talking points. It is a bit surreal.
Like Cucker it is always about the Jews, Zionist Christians and Israel – for JD’s failures.
Rubio has been told to his face but the establishment regretted voting for him for Secretary of State.
Rubio has done too much good to go back to the establishment.
Rubio took it in stride and said that shows I am doing a good job.
See for yourself on youtube
Van Hollen tells Rubio he regrets voting to confirm him for Secretary of State
(That is a compliment.)

They both stink of Deep State to me. Don’t forget Rubio was SSCI chair, the root of all Swamp Manipulation and coverup.
This ‘difference’ between them could be manufactured smoke screen.
How many times do political ‘enemies’ end up on the same ticket?
Remember Bush the Elder?
Vance was rabid anti-Trump and suddenly he’s VP?
It all smells. We have no serious capability of even coming close to fathoming the depth of CIA manipulation throughout the entire World, not just America. They OWN the press. They OWN Congress. They OWN Tech. They OWN the Cartels. They OWN SCOTUS. They OWN the Corporate Boards.
I get Pence-like vibes regarding JD. I don’t trust him at all.
Great post; Agreed! Regards, Former U. S. Naval Flight Officer (ASW submarine vet; for years, always seeking Soviet subs throughout the vast Pacific).

We are BLESSED and CURSED to have enjoyed the predictable, comforting rise of Industrialization and its uplifting humanistic “analog” age only to see it replaced by intangible electrons and digits that coldly rule us without our consent as technocratic order replaces self-governance, freedom of movement and individual autonomy.

Being 70 they add up. lol
Rubio is doing an excellent job at National Security Advisor and a good job at the foreign policy aspects at State. What he is not doing is keeping a watchful eye over the deep state bureaucrats in DoS, and he’s allowing his allies in the ranks to be chewed up and spit out.
My husband was a lifelong Demo when I first met him (38 or so years ago) and I was a Libertarian running for CA State Senate in 1998. People evolve. It’s not a genetic thing, you know?
Look up Jesus disciples and see who they were before they started following Him. Not a one of them were God like nor holy people. But they were perfect for the job.
The few truly smart ones do wake up and see that the Democrat/Communist path leads to H*ll on Earth. If they have kids and family, they have to change especially when a Generational Leader like President Trump appears.
Excellent, excellent response.
The Never Satisfied™️are never going to be satisfied with anything. Their sense of self depends upon pretending not to know certain things.
Sec. Rubio is an anti-Communist and anti-Islamist.
The Deep State, at least the Barack Obiden Deep State, is pro-Communist and pro-Islamist, pro-Globalist, pro-Child Trafficking, pro-Endless War and pro-satan.
Tell me what Deputy Secretary Landau or Undersecretary Eaton are, because that is what matters.

Now talk about Trump’s past.
People change.
God picks unlikely leaders that He sees potential in.
Actually, DJ Trump has much the same political / economic positions today as he did in the 1980s. Of particular note is his 1988 interview by Oprah Winfrey where he expresses views that sound very much like serious parts of his 2016, 2020, and 2024 presidential campaigns and both 45th and 47th administrations.
What happened was that the Democrat party went so radically hard Left such that DJT had to switch parties to continue to promote his America First policies.
Also see his interview with Rona Barrett in the 80’s, same guy he’s always been and still loves this country.
I had completely forgotten about Rona Barrett. Turns out she’s 89 and still kicking! I’ll look up that interview if it’s anywhere online. Thanks!
Fine. I still won’t vote for JD.
I am sure Kamala and Gavin will welcome your vote. If I can hold my nose and vote for McCain and Shrub….twice and even Mittens surely you can help keep the communists out of power.
I say that with love in my heart knowing that if you are here on CTH you will put country first
I get that some don’t want JD or Rubio but they’re a million times better than an AOC any day of the week.
Trump needs to finish his next couple years unhindered from democrats shenanigans.
Trumps problem in 2017 and 2025 is republicans. Democrats are irrelevant at the moment.
All our institutions are so infected with Communism and Islamism that if we do not get a MAGA President in the next couple of cycles everything will be washed away. The guy on the motorcycle saying it is going to get way worse. Three good examples…..all of them wanting DOGE closed and No Recess Appointments, and no President Trump EOs codified.
Likewise I have had to hold my nose several times since 1992. And as you stated, to keep the commies from gaining power!
My point is that the country didn’t self-destruct under Clinton, Obama, or Biden. You’re fear is unfounded.
Incrementally they sure did 100%. Its called managed, intentional decline. It has to be done incrementally to be successful.
I am not sure why you are here and would post this???
The old gradually then suddenly.
A more accurate term might be ‘controlled demolition.’ Call it a Peace Dividend. Call it what you want. I was there.
It took the Treehouse for me to understand the UniParty. I voted for all those constructs too…… Won’t do that again. All the McCains and Romneys would do is slow the train to socialism down so their families can feed at the trough longer.
Yeah, but…
Over time, those ‘electable’ RINO hood-ornaments are less and less effective at opposing, diverting, nor even slowing down the Diabolical Left, as it Progressively destroys American government. It’s a problem that requires the DJT wrecking ball, with extreme prejudice. And/or the R-party ‘leadership’ needs to be thrown into a MAGA woodchipper.
If you don’t vote for whoever the republican nominee is…
Then you assist in the demonic left going Bolshevik on you, and everyone you might care about.
You may as well just join them.
The country didn’t self-destruct under Clinton, Obama, or Biden. You’re fear is unfounded.
I think there’s a “yet” at the end of your “self-destruct” sentence. Incrementally it is going down. We need all hands on deck to keep this boat afloat.
Termites.
True enough, the DC kabuki theater and their presstitute pets present that as the problem set. Same way the commies do Dialectical Materialism (look it up). This, right here, is why I thank God for PDJT and his cabinet for the Big Disruptive. America’s real allies worldwide do, too.
I’ll vote for anyone who opposes the democrat socialist they will have in the D column. The potential damage that another communist like Obama or Biden could commit would be a disaster. Though it is early, AOC is leading in polls that journalists hype for clicks. I actually think she would be a great candidate to run against JD, she is just too dumb to pull off a win. See, for example, Harris in 2024, which elicited a vote that was too big and obvious to mess with.
If JDV is the candidate that is on the top of the ticket and he is running against Cortez The Imbecile, I will happily vote for JDV. It may not be the candidate I would truly want, but it is the one the USA will need.
If Rubio doesn’t run against them, who do you vote for?
Well, Marco is NOT ELIGIBLE for the Presidency. Like Cruz, Haley, Kamala, & Obama, he’s not a Natural Born Citizen. And HE KNOWS IT.
If he truly cares about the Constitution, then he must decline to run. If he doesn’t decline, then we will all know that the same sickness of ambition has captured him, as it did with the sleazoid Cruz (who KNEW he wasn’t a NBC, & SEALED HIS & HIS PARENTS’ RECORDS …. JUST LIKE OBAMA), to hide the fact.
One must deal with life as it is and not as you wish it.
If Rubio is the guy I will vote for him.
Graham was wrong about Iran folding in a few weeks. He was wrong about Ukraine, wrong about so many things.
What makes you think he was correct about Rubio, or Jared and Witkoff?
Did he say Iran was going to fold in a few weeks or did he say that in a few weeks Iran was going to start losing control over some cities and that the Arabs were going to get more directly involved which would build momentum? Who knows if the regime is losing control in some of the cities? I do see some evidence of Arab participation increasing with reports of some of them bombing Iran.
Remember McCain and Graham……..
Lost Trust in Graham
I remember Graham predicting the red wave win in 2022..He went through every R candidate and predicted their win..EVERY one of them lost.
I do not understand why the bread a circus machine if everlovein politics finds it necessary to “lionize@ the man. Like Ted Kennedy, and McCain, etal, such a hero worship is quite galling and speaks of shallow remembrance. He was just another politician. Hope he did some good things. Great? Don’t know
Totally agree. Once a neocon always a neocon.
They all are cogs in the deep state, and if they get to far out of line, they get JFK’d!
..lol.
Posted very confidently, even though you present no evidence at all.
Sorry, after all Marco has done, he deserves and has my second chance. This had got to be bots agreeing with this. 59 people have not been paying much attention lately.
I think Rubio loves this country & believes in MAGA. if that’s not the case he pulled a serious Houdini.
It’s how the game is played if you want to retain power and influence.
Once he no longer has to carry out President Trump’s agenda he is free to be his own man, whoever that is.
Yes, he’s doing a great job as Secretary of State but he cannot be trusted to be President for exactly the reason you state.
Maybe this always was his agenda but he had to play the DC game until DJT got control thus freeing him to be his own man and having the horsepower to implement change to a system that he knows all too well.
it is not hard “pull serious Houdini” on 40-60% of voters… ( un-informed ,naïve ,gullible ,bread & games crowd, emotional wrecks(bho voters) and do not forget “tootsie smile of BHO” on “independent and some women” to me Marco is 50/50 on America First but he play it very cool far better than Mike Pence(if he is real Neocon)…..
I thought Trump was not serious in the negotiations with two Jewish guys leading them
…why he..VSGPDJT did not sent to soo important negotiations Secretary of DoS Marco Rubio ??? but real estate brokers ..is he serious to negotiate with Iranians ???….war may have to end with compromise is VSGPDJT ready for that ???…
And just why was the WSJ granted THOSE excerpts? Gee. I wonder.
I read the article. It is unclear in this article if those statements were what the author, former Politico reporter Josh Dawsey, was told by filmmaker Holder, or if Dawsey was allowed to see actual video footage. Another WSJ segment is a video by Dawsey confirming that Holder showed Dawsey some footage, showing very short clips without greater context.
Steele ‘dossier’ guru Glenn Simpson was a WSJ reporter also.
Graham’s Conservative Review Liberty Score is 43%.
Not a person from whom I would ever take advice.
And why his sister with his same opinions should not be inheriting his Senate seat, it’s not a family asset to bequeath to whom one likes.
I called that out here when it was announced and I got beat up by the oldtimers. I read a couple days ago that President Trump is reconsidering that nomination from a lot of GOP pushback in the state but haven’t heard anything more.
I pray Trump takes back the endorsement for the general election. I believe strongly she is a bad pick.
It’s only temporary. She doesn’t stand a chance in the special election.
Well, she does need to win the election for the full term. That will be for voters to decide, and there is another contender.
listening carefully to what an “advisor” has to say is always a good idea. Treat them with respect and thank them for their advise. There’s a lot of information in dis information.
Just like with middle-east potentates, the Trump magic is to make an enthusiastic ally by leveraging whatever common interests they do have, a rare gift in the DC rat-maze. Unlike the RINOs, PDJT appears mostly immune from Uniparty coercion, seeing that for what it is.
Do we or do we not believe that Iran was building up so big of an arsenal to make it impossible to stop them from building a nuclear weapon?
Yes
I know a bit about nuclear fuel cycles. There is no reason for Iran to take the path they chose except to build a bomb. The technology needed today is far more easily hidden and rebuilt. My two points are that there is a much lower confidence window on the assessment that they were not building a bomb than certain intelligence agencies want us to believe. And 2., given the cost they were willing to go endure, there is no certainty that they haven’t. Critical mass is 6.25 lbs. About the size of a grapefruit. Sphere, not solid. All I will ever say.
“Critical mass is 6.25 lbs. About the size of a grapefruit. Sphere, not solid.”
Triggering the chain reaction is the tricky part.
Not really.
Edit: All I meant was that it is wll understood by those with the means to accomplish that. The Norks figured out eventually. We may or may not know who was involved in that effort. This time I actually will quit. Sorry. It’s bad of me.
Don’t feel bad you haven’t revealed anything not readily available.
If you have people willing to die for the cause it becomes a lot easier does it not?
I’m just a dumb ac mechanic and I can figure it out.
It’s been my opinion for some time now that Iran already has some number of functional nuclear weapons, ten or maybe twenty devices squirreled away somewhere in places not easily surveilled by satellites or even by on-the-ground intelligence agents.
The physics of nuclear weapons is well understood. The technology needed to produce those physics inside of a physical device can be tested independently of the fissile material core. Iran has been concentrating uranium for fifteen years now and probably has enough fissile material currently available to mate with their bomb design technology.
These ten or twenty functional nuclear weapons, if they actually exist, are probably not small enough and compact enough to be mounted on an ICBM or an IRBM. But these could be delivered to a city which isn’t well enough protected from terrorist-style nuclear devices by a cargo plane or by a commercial cargo vessel.
I can remember speculation back in nineties that the mullahs possibly had a weapon or materials smuggled out of the collapsing Soviet Union. The source was the old “International Intelligence Briefing “ and maybe a couple others.
To include the infamous ‘suitcase bombs.’
Do NOT believe.
“He would call what this was ‘a game,'”…
I would imagine that the soldiers who were killed or maimed in Iraq and Afghanistan over the two decades our country spent in the Middle East sandbox did not consider it a “game” and I am sure their families are even more disgusted than I am over the callousness of Senator Graham and his casual dismissal of their sacrifice.
There was always something about him that smacked of insincerity and this piece encapsulates how shallow of a man he truly was…there should NOTHING remotely entertaining or enjoyable about sending troops into harms’ way and I am sickened that he seemed to consider it to be both!
He and his BFF Senator John McCain both reveled in meddling in the affairs of other countries, although I suspect Songbird had different motivations, but I despised both of them in life and I have nothing good to say about either of them in death! SPIT!!
For some reason Trump just can’t praise him enough. I’ll never understand what he sees in some people.
Praise in public is what leaders do.
What I have surmised from watching events over the years and reading between the lines based on Q posts about LG:
PDJT has had LG on a leash because he knew what LG had been up to with McCain, things worthy of prosecution and life in prison or death, and forced LG into a deal. The deal required LG to toe Trump’s line is certain areas, and required Trump to be loyal to LG, and to continue praising LG if he died first, maintaining LG’s public image. LG must have kept his side of the bargain, because if he didn’t, Trump would not have maintained public loyalty to Graham. IMHO, that’s the reason for Trump’s continuing praise of LG.
His eyes glazed over and he was almost gleeful when he was pushing war.
That is a tell, of the globalist/Uniparty blob and of commie/socialist true believers. Even those left-leaning veterans’ NGOs damn our vets with faint praise, as they work to mold veterans into a D-voting dependency class.
it’s difficult not to try to imagine how much better off we’d be as a nation if graham showed as much love for this country as he did for himself
Pick up your copy of the Lindsey Graham documentary for twelve cents at Walmart’s bargain bin.
Still not worth it.
One Rino down. Not interested in his life. Bad enough having to live with it while he was alive.
We have a chance to get a great replacement yet the sister is handed it. What the actual…
“Handed it” until a primary and election this November I believe.
Special election in August to determine who runs in November general election.
“…on his goal to eliminate Iran…”
Which begs the important question, which Iran?
The Iran that funds global terrorism?
The Iran that manipulates the global price of oil with their ability to bring instability to many key regions and regimes?
The Iran about to become an impregnable nuclear power with long-range missile capabilities?
Was Graham really a committed NeoCon? Or were those the only rules being enforced when he engaged the game?
I’m beginning to think he was a more complicated man, in a complcated time, playing a complicated game, for complicated reasons–including the mere joy of the game.
Maybe we don’t know him as well as we think.
Now explain why he went to Ukraine ten times and why he was always first in line to meet with Zelensky when he came here.
Profit was his goal, not some moral endgame where a terrorist state was eliminated.
Graham died with only a few million in assets while his pal McCain had 16 million of assets at the time of his death. Much of McCains wealth had already been transferred to his wife Cindy when they married. It will be interesting to see if Graham did the same. It is hard to believe that McCain is making deals while Graham just likes war?
As the Treehouse says, RINOs like money.
my understanding is that he owned munitions factories.
The only thing you need to know about Graham is he is culpable for 3M dead in Ukraine.
and facilitated the murrder and maiming of multiple millions more by enabling the administration of the depop deaath vaxx
Which is also the main problem I have with his friend who the globalist gave a state funeral. Although like Graham, the friend did so much damage that it’s hard to pick ( Obummer care is a definite runner up).
Anyone who thinks we would be in no danger having a nuclear Iran in the world hasn’t been paying attention to them since 1979.
Thank you, Sundance.
Trump called him a “smart” man. Trump often uses “smart” as an insult, also compliments about how “nice” a person is often used the same way. And they don’t even notice, they think he really likes them.
Yankee versions of “bless your heart”.
Then endorses his sister to take his position. That’s quite the “insult” or “bless your heart”.
The Netanyahu video with Maria B is incredible. He says: “the last thing we want is genocide”. The nerve!
Actually, genocide is what the twelvers have planned for Israel.
Then us.
But, you knew that.
Yes and JD is a major problem with Trump’s policies.
Trump is trying to keep a united front but JD is a problem.
People are being fooled. JD is NOT MAGA.

JD Vance ‘very unsupportive’ of Donald Trump behind the scenes
See for yourself
Trump likes pitting people against each other but there is no way Trump will endorse JD to succeed him.
He can’t fire JD and JD would never step down bcecusee of “differences in philosophy” as Trump has openly admitted,
so Trump will try and use JD for whatever he is useful for.
Donald Trump Says JD Vance Is ‘Philosophically Different Than Me’
March 10, 2026
https://www.mandatory.com/news/1741170-donald-trump-jd-vance-different-than-me-comment
Most likely Trump will endorse Rubio.
Between the two, – JD and Marco – RUBIO has out vote.
You will never see another Donald J Trump.
That’s why we need to enjoy him and appreciate him and support him while we can!
IMO, the reference to Kushner and Witkoff being too “CONFLICTED” means that their relationships with players in the Middle East could compromise their positions when it comes to dealing with Israel and the Saudis. My interpretation is that Rubio has no economic dealings in the region and that Sen. Graham saw him having clean hands … and that Rubio would base his opinions upon policy and not millions that might be gained.
This is not an endorsement of Rubio by any means. He is neocon-ish. It simply is an opinion that POTUS never should send the likes of Kushner and Witkoff to conduct negotiations when their own piggybanks could profit. Also, while I am not sold on VP Vance quite yet, his hands are relatively clean also since he has nothing to gain economically and seems to base his policy leanings on what he believes is America’s best interests.
The baseline Republican is Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan said, “I am not an isolationist.” And he wasn’t.
J.D. Vance is an isolationist. How do we know? He wrote an isolationist book, for example. He is very much close in ideology to Rand Paul. This puts him at odds with President Trump, who is not an isolationist, just like Ronald Reagan was not an isolationist.
Then there is Marco Rubio. Marco just said the Russians are losing 5000 soldiers a week in the Ukraine war. That is double the number of deaths of the American Civil War in four years, not counting the deaths on the Ukraine side. There aren’t enough coffins! It can’t be true, but Rubio says it anyway. Marco Rubio tosses these figures out with ease. But why? Perhaps he is used to it, because he has always worked for the government. Even when he was in the Florida Legislature, practicing law six months a year for a short time, he was practicing land-use planning law, i.e. government regulations. This puts him at odds with President Trump, because the president is rooted firmly in the private sector. Donald Trump made his name and fortune by honest work in the real world. Spin doesn’t win in that environment.
Those who love UNI-POLAR WORLD are globalists with endless wars …AMERICA FIRST will thrive in the MULTI-POLAR WORLD….. with no wars….Paul Niemi…..
Wars break out, not because someone starts one by choice, but because all the conditions leading to war pre-exist. When a war is waiting to happen, any spark can set it off. Such preconditions include denial of human rights on a mass scale. They include expansion, threatening neighbors, sponsorship of terror.
What is the response, when a war places in jeopardy the vital interests of our country? Join the conflict, win and win quickly. Don’t equivocate or hesitate. Be a reliable ally. Put in place the reforms necessary to keep the peace, having won the war.
Ami Horowitz is a left-wing Democrat with dual US/Israeli citizenship. He “supports” Trump and “opposes” Vance only to the extent that he thinks he can help Israel by doing so.
You might not know it from the comments here, but polling shows that young Republicans oppose our peculiar relationship with Israel. Vance is going to be the one best positioned to take advantage of that new reality.
Trumps foreign policy is the opposite of the one he had in his first term, and the opposite of the one he ran on in 2024. Vance has our vote.
Sky News? I have a bridge in Maryland for sale.
I see where this might be going…but is it on the positive or negative for Sec. Rubio?
Only time will tell (an awesome Asia track) but without slobbering over the Secretary like some here, or ripping on him like the other half, I suggest we take care of the midterms first and then adjust our preferences and act accordingly.
With action.
We can not afford to lose this last bastion of Freedom on this “big blue ball” as Bob Wier sang.
Big fan of Asia.
Yep, a lot of time yet until 2028. We need to focus on what’s coming up.
A lot of media speculation about Vance and Rubio and who would be better. Wee just might get both on the ticket. We shall see in the fullness of time.
Isn’t it illegal for him to conduct diplomacy?
The Republican bench is so deep that NEITHER Rubio nor Vance could be the next administration.
Fetterman should switch parties. Know a bunch of old-fashioned (Kennedy era) Dems who would vote for him.
Hope you don’t mean John Kennedy.
Of all the documentaries in existence or the ones forthcoming, I cannot bring myself to be interested in seeing the evil behind the life of this toad.
Sorry, no.
The WSJ piece and some comments here point to a democrat opportunity to take the late Senator’s seat. There is a reason why these biography parts are being leaked out.
JC my wife and I are heading to SC sometime in September I think.
She is the incarnation of Ebenezer Scrooge and I’m sure we’ll be attending another time share thingy.
I always say I’m not going to attend the presentation but I have so much fun telling them that we’ve done this our entire lives and never bitten. It’s usually over within an hour.
I hope to talk to many folks in SC and will report back here!
Good luck and enjoy.
The furthest east I’ve been is Salt Lake City so I don’t know much about SC but I’ve heard it’s nice from those who have gone.
It’s beautiful. Got married on Hilton Head Island.
It seems that Marco has been loyal to President Trump. I hope he is not a neocon. Is it his fault that neocons seem to prefer him? Maybe. All the effort to select him prior to the midterms is troubling.
I think Rubio, like Graham, is a talented politician. Both can transition from one audience to the next with different messages and pull it off.
The problems as I see them with Rubio – previous support for amnesty (which got him politically crushed) and his time on the SSCI. The latter problem is especially, well, problematic. He defended Mark Warner over the secret text messages with Steele and he has never owned up to that. I don’t trust him.
Agreed, but I believe that what the issue comes down, at its root, is that we oftentimes conflate us with the government and the government with us. That is, we are the government and the government is us, and nothing could be further from the truth. This psychological conflation makes us embrace ideas that we typically wouldn’t. Rubio is a perfect case. Some view him as a warmongering “conservative” (a contradiction), which he is, and others view him as MAGA. Rubio wants a strong, vibrant government. The problem with this view is that having a strong, vibrant government necessarily means a weak, defenseless populace who are stripped of their freedoms and liberties. We cannot have both. We either have freedom or a strong, tyrannical central government. We have to decide.
One of the many reasons I disliked Graham. God rest his corrupt arrogant soul.
>> “In three to four weeks, we’re going to have them in a spot where they start losing control of some cities…get the Arabs more openly involved tomorrow, and then have almost irreversible momentum.”
said Generalissimo Graham
“It’s tough to make predictions, especially about the future.”
Yogi Berra
Regarding SoS Rubio: “Loyalty” is just a T-shirt…or, in this case a MAGA hat. Marco, RFK, Tulsi, etc. have been doing an excellent job. DeSantis as well, but proven time after time after time: A Tiger can’t change it’s Stripes. The democrat party, for at least the past 20+ years, has Not changed it’s stripes. A wise person would be very wary of “late comers” proclaiming to be a President Trump/MAGA ally. Trojan Horse might be more fitting…
But then Trump assigned Vance to Iran affairs — make or fall.
Is Rubio in the loop at all for decision making?
I think the Rubio bashers here are all trolls…
🙁
Look, if one never disagrees with another it means that one of us is not thinking. Is that the kind of world you want to live in? That’s no different than the so-called Left. When people disagree it means at least one of them is thinking, and that’s a good thing.
I have always strongly disliked using “TDS” as an excuse to silence dissent for this very reason. It’s an intellectual cop-out.
So agreeing that we are a sovereign nation, or that we shouldn’t have open borders, or the killing of the defenseless unborn is wrong means there’s no one thinking.. Disagreeing doesn’t mean at least one person is thinking. It means at least one person is thinking differently. Not always a good thing.
CHECK MIRROR TERESA……
I have repeatedly heard that Graham knew how to get things done. What exactly has he got done? Maybe they meant helping Obama and Biden.
“In a rather telling part of the storyline, Senator Graham notes on his goal to eliminate Iran, he needed to work with Marco Rubio because Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner were in conflict to his intent.”
Could this be why Trump sidestepped the question of Kushner and Witkoff’s role in the ongoing Iran Negotiations Friday?
He said he preferred Rubio but at no point did he say Rubio agreed to help.
Seems unethical that the author is releasing unedited (of course, by the deceased or the deceased’s estate) portions, obviously selective portions, of an incomplete manuscript.
Hopefully whoever is handling the late Senator’s estate puts a clamp on this selective prosecution of a sitting President’s administative efforts to bring a settled peace to the middle east before irrepairable damage is done.
Wait, Lindsey wanted the Iran war. And Jared and Witkoff tried to stop it.
We always have a war, even with someone like Trump, who did not want a war.
Lots of MAGA splitter efforts in the comments. Sigh…
You may have noticed that during this military operation, Iran has NOT targeted Israel directly with any missiles or drones. Any involvement with Israel has specifically come from Hezbollah.
Sorta like what the Soviet Union called Peaceful Coexistence.
Having these Arab countries retaliate against Iran was helpful, as long as they don’t back off. Iranians are not Arabs.
Graham may have been a patriot but he never met a war he didn’t like. He represented his MIC donors first and foremost. He is another shining example of why the 17th amendment should be repealed.
Graham was in Ukraine in December 2016, several years before the SMO, exhorting the Azov Battalion to continue to make war on Russia. He was there with Klobuchar and McCain.
So why did he encourage the Ukrainian nasties to continue to make war? Just a month earlier, PDJT was elected. The Azov/Right Sector/Bandera boys knew that PDJT would work to stop the war. The Azovs were getting cold feet.
Was that treason? I don’t know. But it was part of the neocon cabal to prosecute their own warmongering foreign policy.
The coming memorial services will be full of platitudes, but the fact is that Graham worked promoting war and against PDJT.
Leopards don’t change their spots.
Why vilify a man who just died? NO he didn’t have a goal “…to eliminate Iran.” His goal was “to free Iran”. “Minor” difference. A free Iran is good for the U.S and the world.
And yes, he was right about Kushner and Witkoff. They may be good in business deals but have no clue about Jihadi players. Both are personally financially involved with Qatar, its open knowledge. Qatar represents the Muslim Brotherhood ideologically.
Shalom.
☀️♥️☀️ David: Thank you and God Bless you for clarifying this thread for me.
Shalom, my dear Friend.
“His cheerleading for amnesty earned Graham the ire of the base, and the sobriquet “Grahamnesty” from Rush Limbaugh.”

“You don’t want Legislators taking positions because of intimidation, that’s bad.”
Indeed it is.
First example comes to mind is our Supreme Justice Amy Coney Barrett.
But, the fact that Dems are siding with the fringe b/c of intimidation makes me feel a little better that all is not lost,
but what is lost in our day is COURAGE.
I pray that more people of courage will consolidate and become a single force pushing back against Communism, Socialism, and anti-semitism.
What retarded play-acting.
Clueless politicians have no idea regarding the resiliency of muslim lunatics.
Very true. The WWII vets at least remembered facing banzai-charges.
When I listen to interviews or press conferences with any of the cabinet members I’m always very impressed with the cohesive effort this administration is making, using all the tools of government together to create optimal changes.
This morning I read the comments here and it struck me that these cabinet members are far more distinctly viewed by the readers here than they seem to feel themselves to be, since they’re all whole-heartedly working for the good of the whole.
Since his death we’ve been tortured with glowing stories of what a great senator and human he was. Always thought he was a bit of a RINO scumbag.
Choose your heroes carefully.
The need for control is a reaction to fear..
Lindsey in March: “In three to four weeks, we’re going to have them in a spot…”
Yeah, but not the right spot.
Maybe he shouldn’t have been yakking it up with ‘Jake the Snake’ anyway.
Seems like Lindsey underestimated the drone threat by at least several years.
Did he not follow the Ukraine War?
