Susan Kokinda from the Promethean Action PAC returns to their Lyndon LaRouche roots and describes the American 250th Birthday Celebration through the prism of modern Britain.
…”Kokinda connects the Declaration’s appeal to the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God to economics, quoting Lyndon LaRouche on a state shaping a nation’s relationship to the physical universe. She highlights speeches by Jamieson Greer and Scott Bessent on production over consumption, and J.D. Vance’s call for a Hamiltonian approach grounded in human dignity, linking it to the Declaration’s “pursuit of happiness” over “property.”… WATCH:
.
Amid the Promethean group, Kokinda appears to be the voice with greatest connection to traditional LaRouche thinking. Her partner, Barbara Boyd, appears to be the more pragmatic end of the LaRouche spectrum, accepting things President Trump does more as they are, without having to pigeon-hole the motive into the narrow LaRouche view.
Meh, but at the end of the day – it’s all just an information buffet.

Europe is learning that when you take in Third World criminals, you become a Third World Country. It happens quickly, in just a blink of the eye. I was elected just in time!!! President DJT
Same here
To their own demise. Now they are crying that they have a housing shortage. Hmmm… I wonder why?
They’ve become the beggar on the street corner of the world; Help ‘Great’Britain; the gates of Hell are about to close.
Communism and Islam have them begging.
Look and learn; don’t follow ‘Great’ Britain’s example any longer; truthfully look to the Church builders of the world. Which countries are building up churches? Find out for they will make good allies.
God Help US
Send your prayers, not any of Our ‘Complexes’!!
My nephew is in Londonistan right now. He says the amount of gay pride propaganda is completely indescribable. Not a Union Jack in sight. He went to the Churchill war museum yesterday, completely staffed by Americans, when they left they were greeted by a “Free Egypt” parade/rally that he estimated was attended by about 5,000 people. (Free Egypt? From what? I’d argue the Egyptian population is far freer than the average limey.)
They bow to the monarchy and the mass migration seems to be maintaining the monarchy; my hope of Great Britain overthrowing the monarchy is nowhere in sight.
AND since the monarchy practices all the deviancies know to man, ergo, they have to now let their subjects do the same. Gay pride, pedophelia, adultery, gangs raping, are all ok it seems.
To maintain the monarchy seems to be rule of the day. And Islam is helping. Freeing Egypt would entice more migration to London.
Hope your nephew goes to NYC for his next vacation, he’ll be right at home. Not much difference in socialism/communism and monarchy rule.
God Help US
Agatha’s Christie’s England may still be found outside London. Tell your nephew to go to the country in any country he visits, to see the real deal.
The very foul Satanic “elites” oaf Great Britain will soon all scurry over to Canada. The plebians left will be left to sort the mess out. It is bound to be as nasty as any civil war in the past Century. I wonder who will provide the ammo and guns ? Soros and Company ? Biden Enterprises ?
Amen Thank you Jesus.
Thank you President Trump.
“Meh, but at the end of the day – it’s all just an information buffet.” <- IKR.
The “pursuit of happiness” is actually the most basic way to produce “capitalism” in society and a natural way to promote it with people. Do what you love for a living and you will never work. And in our country, the sky is the limit to what you can achieve with a little luck.
The communist socialist seizes the means of production and takes away your choice.
N/M
That term “pursuit if happiness” was also a way to include property without codifying slavery back then…
and you know this how?
Was it? Or was it used because land was abundantly available in North America, so not really a constraint?
Both can be true at the same time. I have read that slavery was viewed as an anathema to “We are all created equal” in the Declaration of Independence, but that the founders could not deal with that while breaking from GB and creating the United States., so did not want to codify it into law.
Pleas spare us the post hoc attributions.
Read the simple words and soar with the eagles.
I always thought that was true, but some say Jefferson put “pursuit of happiness” in because property is not “inalienable” — but pursuit of happiness is.
Note that we used “pursuit of happiness” in our Declaration of Independence, rather than John Locke’s pursuit of property / property rights. I always wondered: was that because of the vastness of North America with readily available land; versus the constraints on land ownership in the UK?
Decades of political grifting has created the present socialists. They created a national debt of almost $40 trillion and functional unemployment increasing at .5% a quarter with an ever widening income disparity between the top 10% and everyone else. When a society is no longer symbiotic and the labor market no longer works for so many in that society; “the great unwashed,” as Edward Bulwer-Lytton called them, naturally rise up.
Government does nothing well. It seizes everything and mismanages all of it. The richer the country the longer it can zombie like survive. Cuba fell apart very quickly, Venezuela lasted a bit longer. No matter the wealth and natural resources, the end result is the same. Decay of the country and the moral fiber of the people.
I am amazed Kokinda is Vice Chair of the Michigan Republican Party and supported Bobby Kennedy in 1968. I guess it is easier to blame the Brits instead of the Democrats? Many problems were caused when Britannia Ruled the Waves; Today Britain has no military, no freedom, and a shrinking economy. What they have is Islamism.
‘Bigger is Better’ is a goal many seek; ideas brought to you by bigger government, bigger education, bigger money, bigger minded leaders; England spread throughout the world, now look at it. The USA has spread around the world and brought the world to Our shores, now look at it.
Bigger is never better except where the heart is concerned. AND Our hearts have been turned to steel; When we can live with ourselves as 73Million babies are killed yearly and even find time to celebrate. Give me the backyard fireworks after the local parade, kids with sprinklers, and laughter. Everybody out after dark was worth celebrating! Love of America and freedom in backyards.
I’ve become my father; I saw how much money was being spent to ‘celebrate’ and thought of other good ways it could have been spent. The little old lady down the road pinching pennies to pay her raise in taxes on a home she paid off 40 years ago.
Capitalism has always had an uphill battle against communism; and stacking the odds has become commonplace behind the facade of the FED.
God Help US
I am proud to be an American……….for at least I know I’ve tried.
I realize this is splitting hairs, but capitalism is the term Marx uses. Free Enterprise is the correct term for an economy operating under a system of individual liberty. Over time these have become interchangeable. Yet, it is worth knowing where the two came from.
Capitalism vs Socialism
Legal Justice vs Social Justice
Democrat vs Republican
Monarchy vs Communism
Liberalism vs Libertarian
Democracy vs Republic……….bottom line. IMHO
It’s never you say tomato and I say tomato.
I wish Sundance or somebody would explain what he means by “the narrow LaRouche view”.
I’d read a few of the LaRouche articles back in the day. Of course I was considered a ‘nutter’ back then but oh well. Now I can read the headlines today and think to myself I wasn’t crazy after all.
Anybody got any fresh Conspiracy Theories? I’m all out – all of mine have come true.
The IRS is purposely causing seniors tax return checks to be delayed.
Just went through this. My tax filing showed a refund but got a letter from IRS that said I had to set up an account with bank routing for direct deposit or it would take 6 weeks to get my check after a 30 day period to set up the account. The reason was blamed on President Trump’s EO that all government disbursements would be digital.
There is a company called IDme contracted by IRS to verify identities and manage authentication for government accounts. My SS has two choices for log in but the IRS only has one option.
So, in trying to set up, found out that VOIP phones are not secure enough for the multi-layer authentication. They require the almost obsolete landline or your cell phone. No email choice is available like most every other sites security.
OK, set up login and password and then they have to verify your identity. The only choices are cell phone selfie or computer camera that IDme takes control of to take a picture of you and your drivers license. I can’t take my own and upload. The only way to verify is to give this company control of your tech.
Tried and tried the cell phone but after hours I find out my Android version is too old. I also don’t have a computer camera. They suggested I get a friend or family member or use a public computer at a library. Remember, this is for “security”.
There really isn’t anyone to talk with about alternatives, and after more hours I set up an appointment with IRS. That person confirmed that IDme has no other options for verifying identity. The IRS agent admitted there are some issues with verification of people that don’t have the tech, aren’t familiar with the use, or simply don’t want to give IDme access. The IRS agent was very patient, cordial and somewhat sympathetic.
The agent asked me a bunch of questions which verified my identity(15 years of tax returns at same address, duh!) and issued a waiver so that I could get my check sooner.
So, the conspiracy is that deep state IRS Trump haters have put in a policy that causes seniors a lot of grief and delay on their checks. They are doing it simply because they can blame Trump.
So, the way around this is to just set up an IRS appointment for the waiver or add your bank routing to your tax form next time. I finally got my check and still can’t set up the IDme account even though I have gotten medicare and SS for years, securely, without having to let someone take control of my phone or computer.
I have no evidence of this conspiracy but my gut feeling is that anywhere the Trump haters exist they will do anything to disrupt his support.
Ah so, Grasshopper.
After years of hearing the name LYNDON LaROUCHE, JR. thrown around and knowing nothing whatsoever about the man himself, I searched for anything he’d written and found the book he published as his CAMPAIGN POLICY when he ran for President in 1980
The title of the book is: “HOW TO DEFEAT LIBERALISM AND WILLIAM F. BUCKLEY by LYNDON LaROUCHE, Democrat for President.”
I have digested enough of the book to understand why The Swamp was dead-set against LaRouche. His writing sounds like the way Jamison Greer and Scott Bessent talk. I haven’t gotten yet to the things L.L. has to say about Buckley.
Wikipedia zooms in on LaRouche’s early life and politics to make him sound like a nutjob commie radical. Maybe he is but so far, to me at least, he makes a lot of sense. From what I read in his CAMPAIGN POLICY FOR 1980, LaRouche’s policy plans sound a lot like what DJT is doing now.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyndon_LaRouche
I first heard of this man in the 1970’s in an enticing yet also threatening conversation. Didn’t have a way of learning more then but in recent years I have looked him up trying to understand so I am glad others are looking as well. I am still unsure about him and what he was up to.
I always thought his label should have been ‘strict libertarian.’
And Libertarians always get a bad rap, while most of what they say provides good thinking material. AND sound advice.
Libertarian has been conflated with liberalism IMHO……and that amounts to alarm bells going off.
Learn the difference and the world will be a much simpler place.
AND smelling the roses instead of piss the beds becomes a better choice. Now eating the roses or the dandelions is another story.
God Help US
Labels should be accurate and read before making decisions. One of the laws of the sell.
Thank you Max
I can’t tell if you’re being dismissive with the “Lydon LaRouce” reference or not.
End of the day, what these Women are talking about with the British Empire and the control over the United States for the last 125 years makes a hell of a lot of sense. I find them both logical and refreshing.
It make sense, but perhaps gets repetitive when this is the basic premise indicated for everything. At least Barbara Boyd speaks of other issues. I find Kokinda’s constant referral to ‘The American System’ in the context of j about everything, a bit ‘narrow’
You might start here
https://americansystemnow.com/
Just because they sound crazy, finding a Brit behind every conspiracy bush doesn’t mean they are wrong.
The British have constantly tried to undermine the USA since our inception. They’ve never digested the fact that we were able to overcome their “almighty” empire.
I’ll never understand why other countries don’t suck up or mimic us just for the money. Is jealousy, ideology, and hate so overwhelming they would rather sit and stew in that, instead of making money and pursuing happiness?
I think that when Promethean Action states it the “British Empire” it is when you see Globalists they are doing what the British have set up used, and pushed on America and the whole world. They have mastered the art of manipulating markets and countries into conflicts for their gain. When other players act like the “British System” it is either they are mimicking the same control system (Marxism) that the British have used and they understand how to get what they want. Along with the old adage the enemy of my enemy is my friend that is how this fits in.
Where America is now. Trump knows the “British System” (Globalist) game and is dismantling it one piece at a time. The Globalist are becoming helpless to stop it.
Thanks be to God!!
God bless America!
I agree that the British system is just a mechanism that the British perfected but others picked up after the system was proven successful. After WW1 and WW2 the Europeans couldn’t keep their empires. So, they decided to ditch the nation state and join forces to create the EU as their new power base. But the same imperial methods are employed to create a new kind of global empire. That’s all falling apart now but it will take a while to fully crumble.
It does not make sense to me. Britain is 65 million people. Look for their banks in the largest banks in the world. Way, way down the list. If military makes power, the Brits have none and not much since WWII. If money makes power, they are shrinking fast. One of their largest banks or largest is HSBC. Hampshire, Southwick, Binghamton Corp? Nope Hong Kong Shanghai Bank Corporation. HSBC was headquartered in Hong Kong until 1991.
But it is the same for the Israelis… 8 million of them. They either bat way above their mass or it is just another way to hate folks.
“. . . just an information buffet”
Maybe, but these Promethean folks are the only ones talking about President Trump resurrecting Hamilton’s ideas of national sovereignty and autarchic economic development. Turns out the President was saying the same thing back in the first term, referencing Lincoln and McKinley. I wasn’t aware of his interest in the Hamiltonian ‘American System’; it explains a lot of this administration’s strategy. How valid Promethean’s ‘London’ lens is I don’t know, but they are explaining a lot of the hostility to President Trump from the Europeans.
It also puts an interesting frame around BHO’s visits to 10 Downing, the London scene of the Russiagate BS, etc.
Spot on!
I love that naive lefty Lin Manuel Miranda made Alexander Hamilton such a beloved, larger-than-life figure among libs and low info/low propensity voters. Trump/Rubio/Vance/Bessent should NEVER stop talking about how they’re resurrecting the powerful American Hamiltonian System!
President Trump has changed the entire world economic game board. The EU, Great Britain, the Canadians along with all of the British Commonwealth) are mad as hell. They continue to try to undermine Trump and thus ourselves. Allies ? Hmm 🤔
TCM aired this today. Other than the saccharine musical tunes, it was a pretty informative watch.
Thank you Aggiegirl. Hadn’t seen that before. Powerful video!
Matthew Ehret, a Canadian historian, brings receipts on this very subject.

He has volumes of books on the history of the Americas… and the British do pop up frequently with respect to working against American interests. He apparently also has ties to Lyndon LaRoche. And maybe LaRoche was cancelled like Ron Paul, Pat Buchan and almost VSGDJT. I am now with greater than a decade reading CTH.
Always enjoy listening to these updates. Makes me proud to be American and aware of who are enemies may be.
I say this from half a world away. I’m half American, half English, yet I know which side my bread is buttered on. Yes, I have a connection to “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.”
Happy 250th Birthday to you. May you prosper for the next 250 years.
Kind wishes and regards from an Australian,

Between the two, Barbara Boyd is my favorite. Susan Kokinda rails on and on about ‘the American System’ and there is not a subject where she does’t revert back to the City of London. I get it (or got it, the first time I heard it), but the repetitive nature of this begins to lose its luster. On the other hand, I find Barbara Boyd very interesting to listen to.
The City of London bows to a King, We do not and never will. Since Our Founding that is; the colonies were started here and were claimed for the Monarchy and bowed to it’s wishes right down to slavery. Libertarians despise monarchy and it is their mantle and yes they preach about it, but that is so much better than NWO/liberalism/communism/socialism to listen to.
Getting rid of the Monarchy was an accomplishment very seldom accomplished. The people who emerge from under the thumb of monarchy are forever fighting to remain free at all costs. Many countries remain under monarchy, I’d look to those that overthrew monarchy to be allies with. Just MHO.
God Help US
Sanctity of Life has been the goal of living, the best foundation for any nation to thrive. Future generations depend on it. Sanctity of Life means nothing in monarchies/NWO/liberalism/socialism/communism.
So preaching for the people to be in charge is OK with me.

Conversely, here, enjoy a good interview with Barbara Boyd from today:
very interesting!
Lyndon LaRouche gets an instant “Conspiracy Theory ” tag which for me, makes me take second look. I was that guy, that LaRouche is a nutbag, because I was immersed in the enemy MSM narratives. It does explain “why?”
We have been under attack since the beginning, but who and why?
I know eyes roll when you mention The Crown Corp, (Promethean Action does a good job with this subject). The City of London, the British Banking system, these demons depend on a fat, sassy, apathetic public, with naysayers who will dutifully regurgitate the enemy MSM narratives to operate, cloaked in plain sight.
Look away…a thumbnail: Switzerland (WEF Davos, Zurich), The Square Mile (City of London), Bank of Rome (Vatican) with the ancient bloodlines who control these entities.
Under that, The Bank of International Settlements, The Federal Reserve System, etc, down to their evil public instruments; Black Rock, State Street, Vanguard, to a lesser extent Berkshire Hathaway. Through this they control most of the Fortune 1000 corporations along with most governments.
They command everybody is g_ay yearning for child mutilation, 3rd world invasions are immigration, you pick the nutty crap, boardrooms around say “Hut too…and presto, we’re all g_ay, trans, freaks.
But if you give a reason as to why? …you’ll instantly get lesser demons pointing and screaming “Conspiracy Theory”. All the while at the same moment, confusion about what makes a little girl and a little boy become a thing. This without a whimper from those same finger pointers as to why?
You ask them for their explanation as to why, most will give you no reason, then they’ll just say, “because”.
“Well, these things just happen organically, there’s no mastermind behind this, the West has been yearning for child mutilation, since forever”. /s I remember being a kid in the 60’s and my dad saying, “Boys, you know what we need in the USA, is about 30 million 3rd world invaders, this will help with your work opportunity’s” /s or “Boys, Marxism sure is swell, I really like 50’s automobiles” /s “Fauci was just doing what was best for the West, and we had that bioweapon coming anyway”. /s on and on…
I could keep going with the nonsense into infinity, War, pestilence, privation, weaponized, government, racism… I included the s/ tags for the ones that will go that’s not true.
Please explain the “why?” to me like I’m five.
I just did a small research of LaRouche, Stan, because I was familiar with his name only because of Promethean Action. I should have done this much earlier, but life gets in the way, you know…as it does now. So I didn’t have time to go through the many entries.
But one thing stood out…
Politico, New York Times, NPR, NBC, and other like publications all threw out “Conspiracy Theorist”; which, as with you, makes me wonder.
And here’s another thing…
Under LaRouche’s name, there popped up a link to the CIA (which described him as a Trotskyite). I thought it was a basic post, but it turned out that it was a PDF file, which I quickly exited from. Only to find that where it was in my search engine before, it had disappeared completely. Curious.
I, too, would appreciate someone who knows to provide a genuinely impartial, basic overview (if that’s even possible) of the man and his beliefs.
For this exercise, if there is an unbiased someone, I am also five years old.
But for this exercise only 😎
If we’ve learned anything by virtue of being residents in this Tree and having watched evil liars/manipulators/propagandists crawling out of their roach infested hidey holes, it is that we don’t know even half of the truths which are gradually being exposed to sunlight.
Thank you for your post, dear friend.
May or may not be helpful. I am researching as well as had no idea who he was….only heard the name.
https://www.heritage.org/report/the-larouche-network
The credit eye an also had a link to cede eye a. . Gov but I did not click on it
That was one of the links which appeared. When I have a few quiet minutes, I’ll give it a read.
Thank you 👍🏻
Right Betsy. They have trained the public when they spew “Conspiracy Theory” most just get in line, ignore any facts, point and laugh, I was one of them.
Nothing makes sense, and that is the point of a color revolution, destroy the culture. With every move of our leadership, diminishes America and Americans…Why? The push for this freakish behavior is in education, enemy MSM, entertainment, sports, government, all of a sudden someone flips the switch on reality, why?
Who gains in this nonsense?
Back at you Betsy, God Bless and have a great 4th of July. : )
Tot up the many things which have been labeled “Conspiracy Theories”… which as time has passed have been proven to be true and accurate.
In fact, the more that tiresome label is used, the narrower my gaze becomes.
It’s one of those phrases, like ” Climate Change” which we’re supposed to accept without scrutiny and evidence.
Both of which are never offered by those who spew them out and who expect to be believed. Which, I’m sorry to say, far too many do.
Stay as cool as you can and hydrated, dear sir. A Bless-ed Fourth I wish for you as well. Tomorrow we fight again 🇺🇸
Not sure myself, but what I recollect is a tale of amarxist who became a sort pf liberterian…Will look further into it.
I don’t think LaRouche was his real name. It means Lyndon The Red, because he was a Marxist. He had other aliases.
Now you know what freedom really is; like my father said ‘look it up and find out for yourself’…
Our discussions became memorable.
La Rouche, Perot, Birch, are good places to find the deep state activities as well as conspiracy used by the IC throughout the world. to discredit. JFK’s assassination, too. PaPa Bush was my first big dive, prompted by my dad.
Being part of the medical profession; ya know my next dives.
ALL my dives have brought me to the ‘Complex’ phenomena; ‘Industrial Complexes’ in religion, education, IC, Politics, military, insurance, medical, economics, trade, commerce…….’.Complexes’ to lead to NWO/Communism throughout the world.
I’m ready to stop diving and just sit and watch the birds in my back yard, then comes another good recall of a previous dive…..Libertarianism.
As it happens, I do “look it up”, PAWatcher.
But here’s the thing we should all keep in mind…
Given the manipulation of truth and actual facts these days, the rewriting of history, one cannot be certain that is what is allowed to get through.
As I stated above, all the sources I found repeat the same old lines/scripts. Same words, lockstep. Sources which are known for their tendencies to prevaricate. And sources do matter immensely. Thus my request….so I can evaluate and learn, a never ending exercise in itself. And even then, such are the unsettling times and the embedded actors from all entities, we find ourselves almost unable to believe anyone or anything without ” diving” much deeper down the many rabbit holes and travelling through the warrens where they hide, as we discover once we get there. You are right there.
So, like you I find myself watching and listening to the birds in our backyard and marvelling at God’s creations in all their forms, diversion from the worlds I’d rather avoid, but for many reasons I cannot afford to be ignorant of.
Sunday donuts and more ☕ await…best to you.
Why?
Follow the money…..and the pride which comes with the desire for it.
Yep, that’s the point.
Sundance, would you ascribe Justice Clarence Thomas’s recent dressing down of the worm, “Justice” Roberts’s excuse for the horrific birthright citizenship decision (using British Common Law), as the difference between subject and citizen, to LaRouche hysteria, too?
Your cherry picking Promethean Action, when you seem to be citing their content about three times a week lately, is puzzling, at best.
Thomas Jefferson was a man with vast stores of information, usually good to emulate him.
Information can come from sources with which we may or may not agree.
I do enjoy the information provided by PA and Susan and Barbara but as with any information source I glean certain aspects and use them to formulate my own conclusions.
I just watched the Ken Burns interview on “The Rest is History” podcast with Dominic Sandbrook (a Brit), who kept calling the Revolution a tax rebellion. Burns made some interesting points about the American Revolution, and was unequivocal that without George Washington, there would not be a United States of America.
There’s a good 3 part Washington documentary on the History Channel that I watched this weekend.
After watching, I agree that without GW there would not be a USA.
It’s was good to watch, as an initiation or refresher, as to how close GW and the American patriots came to losing the Revolutionary War. A lot of Providence surrounding Washington.
Benjamin Franklin obtaining French help was a biggie.
Interesting that the French held their ships off the coast, sort of seeing how things we’re going before really joining in at the most advantageous time for them.
Sort of like NATO and Iran.
Oh, we’ll come now and help with the Straights.
The Dutch were helping out with munitions and money before Franklin convinced Louis XIV to sign on to a treaty of alliance. Defeating the British at Saratoga in the fall of 1777 helped, too.
“but at the end of the day – it’s all just an information buffet.”
YES! That is the challenge we all face, gathering the information and putting it all together in a way that not only makes sense, but answers the question “WHY is he doing this, and doing it THIS WAY?”. Often, what is NOT done is just as important as the event itself. Promethean Action has LOTS of nuggets, and viewing it all through the lens of American System vs London is not really that skewed. Did the Great Game ever really end?
Anyway, so few places (the Treehouse is a HUGE exception) can be relied upon to interpret the information they present in a way that fits the current American System approach to both domestic and foreign policy. So few remember to view information and events as being developed and pursued by a businessman, the way a businessman negotiates business deals, not by a professional politician or diplomat. Some are so rooted in old paradigms that their interpretations are outright comical.
Happy Independence Day, fellow treepers.
Sundance must hate Canadians as much as I do – and I really do. Granted, there are some i like, but most I find lame.
How do we run our IRAs, 401(k)s and 403(b)s without having Vanguard, Black Rock, Fidelity, T Rowe Price, TIAA, Janus-Henderson, etc around to construct and operate the mutual funds/ETFs that enable us to grow our wealth and pay for our retirements? Most of the money those firms have isn’t theirs. It is their customers who own their mutual funds and ETFs that really own those corporations that comprise the mutual funds and ETFs.
Since so many of those mutual funds and ETFs intentionally mimic known indexes, Vanguard and the others have to purchase stocks of the companies in those indexes, even if they don’t like how specific companies operate. What is important is that Vanguard and the others should not be telling any of these companies or any of the others purchased for their mutual funds and ETFs how they should be operating. Vanguard and the others are not the shareholders, their mutual fund and ETF holders are the shareholders. The SEC should be addressing this concern, as Vanguard and the others can’t possibly know the opinions of all of their various customers on the possible corporate decisions involved.
sold our Space X stock because someone predicted it to tank—not real happy about it .
A good point but the alternative would be that you are the shareholder and with that you would get the mailings from hundreds of companies that you invest in and be obligated to vote as well.
So anyone investing in the S&P 500 had better get a bigger mailbox.
This is all spelled out in the contract you agreed to when you invested in the mutual fund.
I am aware of that issue. I am just concerned about all of the hostility toward mutual fund companies, especially Vanguard, when there is no other way for the individual to come close to being able to build personal wealth and still have time for the other things in life.
Unfortunately the companies you mention have the edge for 401k/403b accounts.
The ideal scenario would be for each person to have their own account that they would bring to their company for them to contribute. That would be a big change.
It isn’t unfortunate. There is no way one can acquire the various shares to build their own S&P 500 Index fund, for example. It takes an organization of their size to be able to assemble those individual stocks in large enough amounts to support the demand from all of the individuals with IRAs, 401(k)s, 403(b)s, etc. that want mutual funds and ETFs that mirror market indexes. The advent of ETFs, which allow mid-day trades, so one can buy-in on a hot move or bail on a disaster, complicates the fund management process significantly but is better for the customer.
The house wins about 51%, which is trillions.
The Economic Industrial Complex needs a lifetime to unravel; by then it’s time to throw in the towel and pray you have enough to survive retirement. From student to employee/employer, worker, to retirement your contributions have been split between you and your insurers, government, and businesses. When you retire they will still be split…..
God Help US
Like home ownership, retirement is never free of ‘obligations’ to all the ‘Complexes’. You’ll always have ‘your share to pay’……..
Kokinda hits on many interesting points, but she gets many things wrong. Not that she and Vance et al. are advocating the wrong policies, but the errors of the past are being grossly mischaracterized.
Is the opposition to Hamilton’s pro-American-industry policies really Milton Friedman? Has the problem with our policies really been lassaiz faire economics? Has it really been free markets?
No. it was trade policies that made our industries uncompetitive by weighing them down with layers and layers of environmental regulations, and safety regulations, and union labor accommodations, along with safety net programs, unemployment insurance etc., workman’s comp, mandatory insurance coverage, regarded by the politicians who imposed them as “free” because businesses would be covering the costs.
These millstone-laden industries were then to compete with completely unregulated foreign industry, and even then on grossly unequal terms, like China facing zero tariffs while our industries were allowed no entry there at all, and the American businessmen who profited from the cheap foreign labor were all the time buying off our political class to keep this destructive system going.
It wasn’t liberty that was keeping American people and enterprise from flourishing, it was the betrayal of American liberty, blocking free enterprise here at home.
Unhampered by inappropriate regulations (Friedman is the perfect person to see about that) American industry would have a powerful absolute advantage in every industry, with zero exceptions. (Well, maybe Israel and Japan would up there in some things.)
Other countries would still have their comparative advantages, places where they are less-worse, allowing for gains from trade, and we just needed to limit that where there is a strategic national interest in keeping industry at home (Hamilton).
The foundational key to thriving at home is always liberty (Friedman). That’s where our absolute advantages come from (along with our awesome continent and our awesome people).
The key is always Milton Friedman, AND Alexander Hamilton. The idea of some fundamental conflict between them is nuts.
Kokinda also has a one-sided view of life-liberty-property vs life-liberty-happiness.
Logically, liberty and property are redundant. If you have a right to your own life and liberty, then you must have a right to the property that you use your life and liberty to create/acquire. If a piece of property is taken from you, that is a portion of your life and liberty that is taken from you, violating your life and liberty rights. You are to that extent being made a slave.
So one way of looking at the rights of the Declaration is that Jefferson was just taking out what was redundant, and adding a more general ideal of protected liberty.
But he could have left property in. Why not “life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness”?
Maybe because an explicit property right to what you produce was too close to a right not to be enslaved for a country that was at the time divided by “the peculiar institution.”
Further, the framers of our Constitution, knowing they would need to raise taxes for the new government they would soon have to create, might have been afraid that an explicit right to property would weaken its ability to raise those taxes.
Locke’s formulation, while less general, is more forceful. It should not be looked down on as merely economic and less spiritual. On the issue of slavery, it goes to the heart of the spirit of liberty.
If you want to focus on “the dignity of the person,” start with the right not to be enslaved. The right to property is a projection of that dignity.
I agree a lot with Kokinda on what we should be doing, but please, watch out for the friendly fire. To actually be directing it at Friedman and Locke, two of the greatest heroes of liberty, is way out of bounds. There are plenty of fully appropriate targets of our ire.
I appreciate the Promethean Group’s focus on the American System of economics, but they lose me in their insistence that Leibniz is, in any way, a “philosophical voice” of that System. In fact, it’s just the opposite.
History, in the last 350 years, comes down to, philosophically speaking, Anglo American Empiricism vs. German Rationalism.
German Rationalism (the ideas of Leibniz, Wolff, Kant, Fichte Schelling, Hegel and, yes, Marx) are all about proving an a priori justification for the all powerful (Prussian) State that has absolute rule over the corporeal lives of their citizens – often envisioned as being embodied in a “Charismatic Leader” who is a reflection of the “World Soul” a la Hegel. (Austrian painter anyone?) This is also the root of Progressivism, Wokeism, Critical Race Theory and countless others forms of nonsense. And yes, Libertarianism, which is a form of Progressivism.
The Anglo American Empiricists were chasing Kings off thrones, creating a Constitutional Monarchy (the Glorious Revolution in 1688) and a Constitutional Republic in the US in 1776. Oh, and the Empiricists were also creating modern physics, chemistry, engineering, trade, banking, manufacturing, etc., etc. They created the “System of the World.” The people in England, Scotland and the US who did these things were not the landed Nobility, but rather our forefathers – the dissenting, nonconforming, congregationalist Protestants who rejected a State Religion and believed in self-rule — something that never happened in Germany due precisely to their philosophical beliefs. Leibniz is hardly a source to seek a philosophical justification for self-rule in either government or religion.
The British Monarchy (the Hanover’s and Windsor’s – both German descendants) do not reflect the values of the United States – this much is true. They are much more closely aligned with the ideas of the (Prussian) Statism of Germany.
The International Banking cartels (both the City of London and Wall Street) are the scourge that PDJT is fighting. I wish the Promethean Group would just focus on that.
Man and Superman……. Jefferson versus the control freaks.
Jefferson was a genius..imo…dude (respectfully) was GENIUS….might have been a time traveler if I believed in that….his insight was amazing.

CliffsNotes version:
If you are a globalist, you can’t be a MAGA / America Firster.
If you are a MAGA / America Firster, you wouldn’t want to be a globalist.
President Trump’s MAGA / America First movement has the numerical, economic, moral, intellect and armed majorities in America, aka he holds all the cards.
The globalists, who have been infiltrated into America’s 3 branches of government over the past century, have lost this round and will be on the sidelines for the next century ….. losers.
If you are an American, enjoy your life, liberty and your pursuit of happiness.
Courtesy of President Trump and his MAGA / America Firsters.
If you are not an American, tough.
MAGA / America First isn’t just our motto, it is our duty!
Sundance, could you clarify by example, your comment comparing Susan Kokinda & Barbara Boyd about Susan Kokinda “…having to pigeon-hole the motive into the narrow LaRouche view.”? And “…Barbara Boyd, appears to be the more pragmatic end of the LaRouche spectrum, accepting things President Trump does more as they are…”.
Specifically, since they both agree on President Trump’s results, if the implication is their take on “motives” may be different, & motives are important, what is “…the narrow LaRouche view.”?
Paid cash for my house *25 years ago…..best move I ever made…totally by acciden

It was Gods help and shelter..His plan…..dang sure wasn’t mine….
He has plans for me…I know this
Information buffet, wish I had thought of that. Wow.
‘The dignity of a human person”………time for Sanctity of Life to gain it’s place in the world. IMHO
So let’s start at the very beginning; ‘Life begins at conception’ has to be the foundation of Us and the USA. AND keep the SCOTUS on alert; God is the ultimate ruler maker; Our Founder’s used his inspiration so it’s to be followed to a tee —-NO millions of interpretations necessary. Stop ‘lawyer’s from interpreting’…….just follow the laws.
Teach the US Constitution/civics and the Ten Commandments to every child and refresh adults on a regular basis.
AND let’s take it all out of the hands of lawyers!! Our Legal Industrial Complex has caused enough havoc along with ALL the other Industrial Complexes; intelligence, manufacturing, economic, trade, religious, educational, medical, and military!! Complexes must go and make way for mom and pop size business on every corner…….they deliver!
The Whole World has become too ‘Complex’………….Bigger is never better, run by lawyers makes ‘bigger’ the worst possible thing to happen to the world. One Big Happy World run by lawyers; let’s get back to God in charge!
Two thing have to happen after We accept God’s plans as written by Our Founders; Legal voting, Life Begins at Conception.
The rest will be picked up by individuals in unison for a Perfect Union as written in the US Constitution and the Ten Commandments.
In other words Save the Children from death, Communism, and it’s bedfellow Islam that is spreading around the world.
God Help US
AI for the masses should be for entertainment and taking up spare time only, IMHO
Like the TV, given it’s chance it could take over minds and may even make you go blind to the world at your fingertips.
Thank you, Sundance.
Information buffet is an excellent phrase. It made me think. I seldom go to the buffet as I am somewhat phobic about food and lots of people milling about over food. But there are some similarities between that food phobia and my relationship to news in these last few years. It’s like the potatoes came from a box, and the sausage from Sysco and really, how hungry am I? Especially if I am just going to feel ill afterwards…..
Not that I don’t like the Promethean ladies, I do. But I get nervous when an angle is always being pushed. Especially as we appear to be walking across shifting sands.
I think you underestimate the “History” intelligence the Promethean Action crew access.
They’ve been right on just about everything. And in this era of phony Media that’s no small accomplishment.
Don’t use the term great britain. Because it’s not.
