Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the United States and Iran have reached a peace agreement, with both sides reportedly agreeing to an immediate and permanent end to military operations across all fronts, including Lebanon. Sharif said the deal is set to be formally signed on June 19 in Switzerland and thanked Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye for helping mediate the agreement.
But no mention of whether Israel and Hezbollah are included in the cease-fire on the Lebanese front. Iran controls Hezbollah, so it will be interesting to so what its proxy in Lebanon, as well as the Houthi in Yemen do as far as Israel is concerned.

Problem is, the US is not fighting in Lebanon. Israel is the one fighting in Lebanon. Bibi will order an increase in the bombing tempo.

Retired Magistrate here: Unfortunately a lot can happen between now and June 19; I thought the agreement or Memorandum of Understanding or whatever they are calling it was going to be signed today.
Well, I guess we will just wait and see what happens. If GOD wants there to be peace in the Middle East at this time there will be; if not no matter who puts the deal together, it will not happen.
I think the MOU is today and a final agreement with fleshed out details on June 19.
I think the way POTUS was able to turn the IRGC on each other over the “deal” is epic. 🤩

A year or so ago, when Iran was rattling their saber at us, Putin told Khomeini that if Iran gets into a war with the US, they will be on their own. Well, here we are. And the deal was almost derailed by dumbass Netanyahu launching strikes into Lebanon. So I wonder if Trump had to have a similar conversation with the Israelis.

There were people quietly praying and fasting specifically at the time of President Trump’s appointment to the Supreme Court of a pro-life member that led to the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
According to Tousi.tv, President Trump promised to open the Hormuz tonight if the IRGC agree to sign; instead of waiting to slowly open the Strait over thirty days. I have no idea how true that is. In other words, a compromise giving up the most important leverage we have over the IRGC. Without the actual signing until the 19th.
Tousi is right. A major win for the IRGC. At that point I exited the podcast. It had only just begun but I had heard enough.

The blockade can go back on anytime the President chooses. Even without a blockade we maintain strategic military dominance over the entire region. If the Iranians violate the agreement the world will see it, and we can bomb the hell out of the mullah’s with everyone’s blessing.

If I were a nation buying most of my oil from anywhere that could be locked up by the Straits of Hormuz….
I would keep buying oil from the US like others have been doing since Iran closed the Straits of Hormuz.
