Earlier today, President Trump and Vice President JD Vance held a cabinet meeting in the White House. The assembled press pool was invited to attend. Again, President Trump being the most transparent administration in history.
President Trump walked through many of the policy agendas within the various cabinet offices, and each cabinet head responded by discussing what their department was doing to combat waste and fraud and align for the strongest economic outcome. At 26:39 of the video, Secretary of State Marco Rubio walks through the current status of engagement with Iran, Venezuela and Cuba. At 45:00 of the video, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth discusses the ongoing military operation in the Middle East, against Iran. At 54:11 Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent provides an update.
At 58:00 the media question session begins. WATCH:
“Iran thought they were going to outwait me, you know: “We’ll out wait him, he’s got the midterms.” I don’t care about the midterms, look what happened last night, that was the prelude to the midterms. They want very much to make a deal. So far, they haven’t gotten there. We’re not satisfied with it, but we will be — either that or we’ll have to just finish the job. The strait’s going to be open to everybody. It’s international waters. Nobody’s going to control it. We’re going to watch over it.”
“Iran is negotiating on fumes, but we’ll see what happens. We can make a good deal right now, but maybe not a great deal, and if it’s not a great deal, we’re not making it. Iran will receive no concessions or sanctions relief in exchange for handing over its highly enriched uranium. Iran cannot be allowed to possess a nuclear weapon because it will use it immediately and without hesitation.”

Gosh I just remember the good old days of Teh One and how his acolytes loved to preface every utterance with that claim, “the most transparent administration in history”. They weren’t though, not even a smidgen. The Trump administration is hands down the most accessible and transparent I’ve seen in my seventy-odd years(and I mean odd)!
Me too. Same age bracket. I remember no other president communicating directly with the people daily.
And don’t forget the Cabinet members who are, for the most part, getting to be familiar names to anyone interested in national politics. They are also available, visible, involved and articulate. I recall some of the Biden Cabinet who never met their boss, never trended a meeting during their tenure.
It’s a very good strategy for getting name recognition for the very deep Republican bench and any that might have higher aspirations.
But he’s so mean!
President Trump’s enemies are rooting for Iran. They lie and say that President Trump is “getting rolled” and that Iran is being clever by “waiting him out.”
The truth is exactly the opposite. President Trump holds all the cards. The GOP primaries show that President Trump owns the GOP and that the midterms are likely to increase the majority lead currently held by the Republicans.
Additionally, that increased majority will include a higher number of MAGA supporters, as opposed to UniParty Trash.
President Trump is waiting out the Iranians, knowing that eventually they will fold.
President Trump is winning! Give thanks to God!
Someone posted a picture of the entire table asking if you noticed who wasn’t there. Any ideas. I only have my small phone screen and couldn’t make out faces far away from the camera.
These “negotiations” between Trump and the Iranian Mullahs are the same kind of “negotiations” Truman had with the Japanese military after the second atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki…
…it’s just that the Mullahs don’t know it yet!
Trump cabinet meeting….Gathering of Eagles!!! Biden/Obama cabinet meeting….Gathering of Buzzards!! The difference is that stark.
A former girl friend once said to me “flattery will get you everything!” These open cabinet meetings suggest such may be operating for reasons I don’t fully understand. Hope for the best, plan for the worst.
As regards Iran, do you recall your Greek mythology, specifically the Hydra? I note different voices coming from Iran claiming all kinds of facts, threats and agreements…none of which have made a positive impression on President Trump and his negotiating team. Time marches on where many days since the end of military strikes on Iran have passed.
I realize all this jabber coming out of Iran has offered “manna” for the Trump haters. They–once again, are foaming at the mouth dreaming about destroying Trump and his people this November over our Iran “problem” which they skirt in factually describing like the ability of Biden to carry out his daily duties while president for four years.
As these Trump haters, along with their power hungry fellow democrats, gather up super steam, the train they intend to ride is so fantastical even Rosie O’Donnell could sit inside next to Chris Christie as it rumbles toward Never Never Land hoping those Michael’s rides are still available.
A serious person would ask these questions: Would Iran use a nuclear bomb if it created one? On Israel and America? Add to that: Just what damage does a nuclear bomb achieve? Fools avoid asking such questions. The Trump haters have moved into the world of “dangerous fools” in my opinion. “Watch your back!”
Talk about undermining our protectors. The loathing and disdain of a majority (who are serious) will be determined this November. Meanwhile, Iranians should read up on Greek Mythology: It’s coming their way and they won’t like the results.
As for the fools in America…expect B. Hussein Obama to stand atop his Babel of Chicago to give his “call to worship” as Hillary Clinton said “sooner, rather than later!” James Carville will prostrate himself in obedience mumbling obscenities as Bill Clinton mouths “I feel your pain!”
For those of us who are not fools, we just might be meandering around the renewed “reflecting pool” in Washington, DC…thanking our lucky stars for a leader who gets things done to protect and celebrate being an American!
In with the new. Out with the old.
Circumstances have changed. The Democrats, RINOs, and the IRGC?
Not so much.
We are living through extraordinary times.
