I find it hilarious that Club for Growth ‘CONservative’ voices who pontificated through their x-ray specs for decades about the U.S. consignment as a “service driven economy” now mount their high horse in discussion of the opposite; about which they have zero knowledge.
President Donald Trump has seemingly unending patience for these air breathing pontificators who attempt to retain their status, while no one of any intellectual honesty pays attention to the Salem Media economic gibberish. That said, on the issue of Iran, Salem (GOPe) wants more intervention, and on the issue of Ukraine Salem wants the U.S. to assist Zelenskyy more. WATCH:

Retired Magistrate here: President Trump is a man of many virtues, patience being one of them; me, not so much. I would not give these jackals the time of day; however, President Trump is willing to talk to anyone in an attempt to get his agenda across.
When you speak the truth, you should fear speaking to no man.
I don’t think she’s talking about fear, I think she’s talking about disdain.
She?
I have often written about the willingness of the current administration to attend “interviews” with talking heads at the “major networks”. Those “talking heads” are reading from biased scripts trying to generate “gotcha questions”. An interesting point about many of those “programs” is that the 25 – 54 age viewers might reach 400K to 500K, which represents approximately .004 of that age category, which IMESHO, is a trivial, inconsequential part of the populace. I find it kind and condescending of the administrative staff to even spend the time with those “talking heads”. Who/what even sponsors that stuff???
They’re all demon-sponsored!
This would be hilarious if it wasn’t true…… yep, nope still hilarious.
Signed,
Pure Blood
I must interject with a taste of honesty about these ‘nitwits’ Asshats!!! All of Them!!
Listened to Hewitt for years until 2016 when he would bring on Deep State Stavridis, et al.
My experience is really a testament to you, fine sir.
He was decent when he had a local show on Los Angeles radio. But we’re talking 20+ years ago.
Hewitt was fiercely kissing the Presidential Tookus, trying to convince President Trump to start bombing again.
Contrary to the brainless consensus, our President really isn’t a trigger happy cowboy. He is a peacemaker who will fight if he has to.
God bless President Trump.
Salem Media – Team red uniparty right cheek of the same ass.
Lol well put
Ms. Sunshine you ARE a Rascal. Keep it coming girl; always truth-bearing, entertaining, & sometimes lol funny. I enjoy goofball lady’s; my great mom was one of those.
🎯🎯
Hilarious! You always say so much with so few words….
Not sure which rabid Never-Trumpicon froths at the mouth more, this weasel or king rat Levin.
Salem… Jeru…. All the same team.
…and where is Jesus returning to?
“service driven economy” made me think about 2 Kings 24 v 16
All the valiant men, seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths, one thousand, all who were strong and fit for war, these the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
And, Samuel 13 v 19-22;
Now there was no blacksmith to be found throughout all the land of Israel, for the Philistines said, “Lest the Hebrews make swords or spears.” 20But all the Israelites would go down to the Philistines to sharpen each man’s plowshare, his mattock, his ax, and his sickle; 21and the charge for a sharpening was a [g]pim for the plowshares, the mattocks, the forks, and the axes, and to set the points of the goads. 22So it came about, on the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people who were with Saul and Jonathan. But they were found with Saul and Jonathan his son.
“Father forgive me as I once was a CFG donor many years ago. Thank you that you showed me the failure of my ways and brought me into the light. Amen”
Salem Media are scumbags. I have visited them in their offices in Ohio, and they are a moneysucking operation who takes advantage of gullible people of Evangelical bent.
Hugh Hewitt is not a low T conservative pustule, he is a negative T conservative pustule. Like his dear fwiend Eric Erickson, who is whining because Donald Trump won’t fellow pustule Don Bacon to the White House for the 250th Anniversary celebration.
Bacon was a general. So what? So was Willam Hull (who surrendered Detroit and American militiamen to the Brits, whose Indian allies then scalped many of the captives. So were Irvin McDowell, the loser of Bull Run 1, and John Pope, the loser of Bull Run 2, and Braxton Bragg.
So were McCrystal and Betrayus. In fact, Bacon was Betrayus’ press flunky and aide.
A similar pustule is Adam Kinzinger — Benedict Arnold without the prior heroic conduct in battle. That maggot got the benefit of redistricting by Dems — instead of ceding the new district to Congressman Manzullo, a much better Congressman, his lust for office he didn’t deserve and country club money helped him beat Manzullo in a primary. Eventually gerrymandering came for him, and he predictably blamed Our President instead of blaming himself for his failures as a leader and his failures as a man.
I am not impressed Kinzinger was a lite colonel. That’s not the only thing he was lite in. His leaf might have been gold but his nose was brown. Ditto for Bacon and Hugh Hewitt and shyster Eric Erickson.
Boy did you bring up some flashes from the ass, er past.
Eric Erickson: In the dictionary next to “controlled opposition”. Used to be on the radio in
Atlanta near Rush’s air time. Had this smarmy , apologetic tone that he’d whine over the
radio. Only thing that would make me flip a dial faster was when Hannity would come on.
Adam Kinzinger: blackmailed opposition. Rumors about him pegging out the gaydar
were rampant way prior to him being on the Jan 6th committee. “That not the only
thing he was lite in” Might that have been an inference to this weasle’s loafers?
Only flash is the past that isn’t brought up is Egg McMuffin. Anyone thinking that
he’ll be recomissioned to surface and fail soon? You know he’s doing something
nefarious in the background. All the frequent flyers share that in their M.O.
Unfortunately ErEr is still on WSB radio in afternoon.
Man-o-man I miss Rush and even Boortz during the morning drive in to the office…
I had Hewitt on the radio the day after Stolen Election 2020 took place.
He was almost gloating about the “loss” on his show:
“He blew it! You cannot keep making people mad, you cannot keep insulting people. He has been leading a terrible campaign.”
And Election Fraud? “No, no, nobody stole it! Trump lost! He blew it! There was no fraud, nothing was stolen. We just have to admit that he was terrible too many times!”
( The quotations are approximations from what I recall, except for “He blew it” which of course rhymes with his name!)
Reprehensible RINO shill!
Just remember this!……..You will never ever EVER! hear Victor Davis Hanson say a negative word about this whole GOPe cabal.
VDH supports Trump only because the Uniparty realizes that they now need to have some GOPe “good cops”, who pretend to be MAGA.
Victor Defeatist Handwringer is the perfect guy for the part. I think he has the same acting coach as Mike Pompeo.
Hanson is/was a history professor — not awful, not the greatest if you read his works — turned political commentator. Sort of like a right wing version of Noam Chomsky if you think about it (perhaps a bit more capable due to his background, but not by much really). Probably both should have stuck with living a quiet academic life in their fields and foregone the cocktail circuit.
Who gave Hanson his leg up into the political pundit class? That should tell you everything. Gotta dance with the fella who brought ya!
They really slipped up and became obvious with that, didn’t they?
But, but…it does work on people. That’s ok; sometimes it opens up opportunities down the road.
Listened to him once about 10 years ago. Yelled at the radio for about 20 minutes…..and never turned him on again. I do not think like him at all….and i don’t want to.
We had Hugh Hewitt’s show on locally for a while following El Rushbo’s trip to heaven.
Rush’s time slot was the entire afternoon, so it was quite a job to fill that long time slot for local radio stations.
Hugh was really hard to listen to every day.
He’s gone now so apparently everyone felt this way, the ratings must have been bad because he didn’t last long on my radio station.
I thought that Bongino was a good host to fill the slot Rush left behind. I had listened to him from his episode 628, when he reported on how Comey had been forced (by Stefaniuk) to admitting that he hadn’t informed Congress of the counterintelligence plot they had going against Trump.
Though not the unnaturally talented broadcaster that Rush was (no one is), Bongino brought a lot to the table in dumbing down the Spygate Russiagate stuff.
He of course should not have left to join the FBI, but I think it was like Bob Lee Swagger…. ‘push that patriot button and I’ll salute’
Unfortunately Buck Sexton and Clay Travis took over most of the stations broadcasting Limbaugh. It has and never will be the same with those two minor league players.
The only person that even got within spitting distance of Rush was Neal Boortz.
there was a guy out of Minneapolis, Jason Lewis, who was on KSTP (same time as Jesse The Body) who was VERY good. On issues of the Constitution, supply side economics, monetary policy….. he was untouchable. He was elected to Congress in 2016 and was screwed out of a Senate seat by Democrat counting in 2020.
He subbed a number of times for Rush. I was so happy for him, as we had become email pals from the time I started listening to him in the late 90s (right during Lewinski), and maybe had the stars aligned a bit better he might have taken over Rush’s slot for good.
I subscribe to his substack, though (if anyone can help here, I will appreciate it!!) in the past couple weeks, I get directed to a log in page on substack due to the Australian and UK govts new policies, despite the fact that I live in Canada and don’t have my VPN set to either Australia or UK.
Try a VPN and set to a country that allow access to the substack.
Their “script” does not appeal to me. It appears they were pushing DiSantos for the 2028 potus run. I had to turn them off. We will see if Ron D comes aboard the Trump admin and how he really fits in.
The two clowns, Buck Sexton and Clay Travis are an abysmal replacement in that time slot. They are absolutely pathetic, making them oh so easy to turn off. Perhaps the only one infinitely worse is the pontificating former New Yorker with the broken arm from patting himself on the back, Sean Hannity. I run to turn the radio off when I hear his intro music play.
Mark Steyn was the best fill in host of Rushs show.
Steyn was/is like Beck in the fact that both are very good at foretelling the future. Steyn on Globull warming and Beck on the Caliphate.
Vince Coglianese is the closest to Rush that I have heard. He’s smart, funny, and knows his stuff.
There is NO Rush replacement e v e r.
No one has kept my interest for years like Rush did. I can still his hear voice.
Hugh is a spokesman for the MIC ?
Hugh?
Hugh damn right!
Hewitt and his fellow conspirators in the media sphere each would make Judas himself blush. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn they have a secret competition among themselves on which one of them can damage President Trump the most.
Hugh Hewitt, esquire, is a BFF of Cheap Justice Benedict Roberts and all-in on Birthright Citizenship.
More reason to despise him.
I felt he was asking questions in order to have the president make his case.
I’m new to Hugh Hewitt, but will be wary now…
Ten years ago, Hewitt’s refrains were “Bill Barr is a good guy!” followed by “Mitch McConnell will get the job done! He’s a good guy!”
Yes, despite increasing evidence that both were traitors sabotaging President TRUMP !
He has never been a good guy. He’s a charter member of Con Inc.
Yes! Of course! And Trump did beautifully, and in the main, the questions were not edgy–mostly softball, and Trump was not irritated at any time.
Some people apparently didn’t see the interview.
I’m amazed that President Trump gives so much access to himself knowing that 90% of the media are left wing hacks looking for a “gotcha!” question. He must know they are out to get Trump. Hell, half of them deceptively edit to make him look bad or make his opponents look better like the fraudulent fake 60 Minutes and Kamala Harris interview. I certainly would not trust them nor give them the time of day.
The thought just occurred to me that President Trump is like so many successful people in that he never stops practicing. The opposition just keeps hammering away and POTUS keeps his axe sharp by facing every new challenge. There are few if any who can match his skills! It’s his show and to him they are all apprentices!
Is hugh still pushing the covid Vaxx with Fauci?
“service driven economy”
Ameria doesn’t MAKE anything any more
America makes pizzas and pole dancers
One of President Trumps many virtues. Salem lost me during COVID.
Hmmm
Hugh Hewitt is still around? Who knew. 🤷
Mr. Morning Boring…..also now a Fox contributor featured on Bret Bore’s chatfest.
Mr Hewitt is a controlling gasbag. He keeps cutting in while President Trump is speaking. This is yoir President, Hewitt, Back Off!
Hewitt isn’t intolerable, but he is conflicted. PDJT has his eye on the ball & won’t be influenced by any of these talking heads, Hewitt, Ingraham, Hannity, etc…
Whenever I see Hugh Hewitt, I fully expect him to stand up, do a high kick and jazz hands. 😂😂
He reminds me of the idiot Phil Donahue.
Hugh Hewitt and Mike Pence are guys who could walk away from a three-hour long conversation with each other thinking they were intellectuals.
hugh the sicko making his peacock jump the shark moment was when I heard him endorse hillary the hag…
that was the end of that…
EXACTLY!
Like Glenn Beck and Mitt Romney the Latter Day Stooges and other fake Americans.
Hewitt is just as in love with himself as Hannity. There has to be a better avenue for President Trump to communicate with the public. Ugh
I get what you are saying yet it is imperative that President Trump pierce the news bubble that outlets like Salem News Network promote.
I used to listen to Hugh Hewett on radio during my commutes home over 2 decades ago.
Hewett left CA for the Beltway and it was easily decernable that he wanted to “fit in”.
During Trumps first run Hewitt was an anything but trumper, at which time I listened to his show less and less.
I now switch stations when he appears, be it tv or radio.
Hewitt is a low intelligence guy, very dumb. President Trump was gracious to let this dummy interview him, and talk over him. Wish he wouldnt be so nice with these dummys. What can you do.
PDJT plays the same game with world “leaders” ie China, EU, GB, etc… however, PDJT’s relationship to Vlad is genuine
President Trump is a better man than most. I would have gone scorched earth on these people and likely made things worse for us all. Good thing he’s the President and leader we need. I can’t deal with these parasites. They make me sick!
These are always interesting because you can start to pick out what the DS wants our President to commit to; do you also get a peek at what he wants to commit to?
Not really.
Thank you, Sundance, for calling out Salem media and am glad President Trump straightened them out.
They are on the top of the hour news on many Christian radio stations.
They consistently report negatively towards President Trump.
Sundance–The whole “service economy” stuff was some kind of fig leaf for producing the kind of US economy the globalists wanted for the US, a kind of self-serving prophecy that was begun in the 1960s. I tracked this down starting with Google with this question:
In what year did the discussion about moving our economy away from manufacturing to service industries begin?
“The discussion about moving the economy away from manufacturing to service industries began in the late 1960s and became prominent in the early 1970s.
“This conversation was largely shaped by American sociologist Daniel Bell, who popularized the concept in his influential 1973 book, The Coming of Post-Industrial Society: A Venture in Social Forecasting: (Daniel Bell born 1919, therefore he is NOT Boomer. Published his work in 1973 when I was 20-turned 21 in December, Bell was of the WWII Generation. His ideas about “deindustrialization” and “service economy were just self-fulfilling prophecies.)
Bell’s work outlined the shift from a manufacturing-based economy to one centered on services, technology, and information.”The political and public debate surrounding this “deindustrialization” and the rise of a service economy intensified throughout the 1970s and 1980s as factory closures became more widespread.”
Then I asked:
What challenges did the US face transitioning to a service economy?
“The transition to a service economy posed significant challenges for the US, particularly in
job displacement, wage and benefit erosion, and widespread social disruption in former industrial regions.
Economic challenges
Job displacement and skill gaps: High-paying, often unionized, manufacturing jobs were replaced by a mix of high-skilled, knowledge-based roles and low-paying service positions. Many displaced workers lacked the specialized education needed for emerging sectors like technology and finance.Training and retraining programs often failed to provide useful skills for local job markets, leading to long-term unemployment and frustration for workers.Wage stagnation and benefit decline: The new service sector jobs often offered significantly lower wages and fewer benefits compared to their manufacturing predecessors.”For many, it meant trading a single stable factory job for two or three lower-paying service jobs, contributing to financial instability and stress.
Health insurance and pension benefits, which were common in manufacturing, became less accessible or disappeared entirely for many workers and families.Regional economic decline: The “Rust Belt” (areas in the Midwest and Northeast heavily reliant on manufacturing) experienced a steep, decades-long decline as factories closed and jobs moved overseas or to other parts of the US.This exodus led to a shrinking tax base, forcing cuts to essential public services like police, fire protection, and school funding.”Urban decay became a common sight in many deindustrialized cities, with abandoned buildings, falling property values, and a cyclical lack of investment.
Social and psychological challengesSocial and community disintegration: The closure of major employers broke up work-based social networks and eroded the shared cultural identity that often centered on industry in these communities.Deindustrialized communities saw population loss, which further strained the social fabric and cultural institutions.“Increased inequality and poverty: The growing gap between well-compensated knowledge workers and lower-wage service workers contributed to rising income inequality nationwide.
For many displaced workers and their families, job loss led to poverty, increased debt, and long-term financial hardship.Mental and physical health impacts: The stress of unemployment, financial strain, and loss of identity led to significant health challenges for individuals and communities.Studies documented higher rates of stress, depression, anxiety, alcoholism, and domestic violence in deindustrialized areas.Lack of access to health insurance often compounded physical health problems for displaced workers.”
Pretty good AI over there at Google.
I didn’t realize that the capstone of Bell’s prophecy came the very next year, the year I graduated from college: The worst job market since the Great Depression.
AI Overview
The job market collapse of 1974 was a defining moment of the 1973–1975 recession, characterizing a severe period of stagflation—simultaneous high unemployment and high inflation—that ended the post-World War II economic boom. The crisis saw unemployment jump from 5.2% in June 1974 to 7.2% by December 1974, with about 6.5 million people out of work by the end of the year. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Key Causes of the 1974 Collapse
Impact on Workers and Employment
1974-1975 Comparison
The collapse intensified at the end of 1974, leading to a “bleak” outlook, with unemployment continuing to climb to a peak of 9% in May 1975. [1, 2]
Policy Response
The 1974 collapse marked a structural change in the U.S. economy, ending an era of steady prosperity and initiating a 40-year period of slower wage growth. [1]
And building giant shopping malls to signal the buy buy buy consumerism trope, leading many to more debt and dismay. The workforce politics of perfect color and tone with mandated reporting structures to meet coveted benchmarks, whether or not the talent existed in the pool; merit was intensely set aside in many and political correctness got roots. No rose colored glasses in the rear view. Those central planners always at the ready.
Heeeere’s Danny!
AI Overview
Daniel Bell (1919–2011) was an influential American sociologist and Harvard professor who pioneered the concept of “post-industrial society“. He famously predicted the economic shift from manufacturing goods to a service-based economy focused on information, technology, and knowledge-based services, which became dominant in advanced societies. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Key Concepts and Contributions:
DJT marches into the lion’s den of liberal podcasters to deliver his message to the opposition. NO ONE ELSE has done that.
“that Club for Growth ‘CONservative’ voices who pontificated through their x-ray specs for decades about the U.S. consignment as a “service driven economy” now mount their high horse in discussion of the opposite; about which they have zero knowledge.”
Exactly. No country in history has willingly sacrificed so many jobs, so much work, and so many competitive advantages to foreign global competitors on the scale that the United States has since George H. W. Bush except under the threat of invasion by a foreign military. Other than the 1% investor portfolios and the campaigns of politicians that 1% fund, the U.S. is a weaker country for it with a hollowed out domestic labor market filled with people who should not be here who drive up non-entitlement social services spending for their progeny, etc.
Initially I thought Spew Spewit had something interesting to say when I first came across him a long time ago, probably around 9/11. The more I listened to him, the more I started to see through the camouflage and realize that he’s just another statist arguing for the continuance of the power structures that benefit Washington insiders and put the priorities of the average citizen last.
