He Is The Way, The Truth, and The Life
A prayer for you that simply is an outward confession of an inward commitment:
“I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, He died on the cross as an innocent man.
He was sent to death paying the price we couldn’t pay for our own sins because according to the law a sacrifice was needed.
He died on that cross with the burdens of our every sin on His Shoulders.
Then He conquered death and He Rose Again on the third day, rolled the stone away!
He revealed Himself to His Followers and He preached and comforted us that He would give us a Helper to remain with us for He Was Going Home to prepare rooms for us in His Kingdom where we would abide with Him forevermore.
He sent The Holy Spirit to indwell in us, and the Spirit empowers us through Spiritual Gifting, Gifts of The Lord, and we can pray to God whenever we want… and we require no absolution or permission through any third party here on earth.
Though The Holy Spirit we are assured that even when our words are hard to form and our hearts are too heavy… the Spirit communicates it all clearly to God and God attends to our every need according to His Will.
I thank You Jesus for Your Willingness to pay the price I could not pay, that God so loved the world, He Sent His only Son to save the world, so we would not perish.
I believe and thank You for Your Gift. I accept! Create in me a new heart… remove this heart of stone and grant in me a new heart of flesh.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, I pray, AMEN”
And God’s Will Is Good and for our very best. We can TRUST HIM with our every need.
Roman 8:28 God works all things for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His Purpose.
Psalm 139 He knit is together in our mother’s womb and made us perfectly for a time such as this.
He Will never leave us or forsake us.
This is beautiful, Woo.
Praying for Jen, there’s been a change.
Blood tests from Friday show her adrenal glands are shutting down. This means the powerful steroids are tipping past the benefit vs cost scale.
They will do an MRI the 28th for another baseline measurement then began tapering her off them.
Hoping and praying the extreme vasculitis stays in check without the steroids. The docs said they are all still meeting and studying her case regularly.
God got Jen this far, He has her still. 🙏
Continued prayers for you all… 🙏
Thanks Puddy. ❤️
Thank you for the update. I am praying for you all including the docs that they will make good decisions. Nice to know they are all still meeting and following her case. The 28th is Sunday, nice that they are open on the weekends. I will be sending extra thoughts and prayers on Sunday.
Thank you Leave. That is so sweet of you.
The docs at UVA need to see her Monday to discuss new or different meds, which depends on what the MRI shows.
Weekend work is another thing I’m grateful for UVA. We really like the neurologist in charge.
Dear Alley, I will be praying for Jen and her medical team. And, you are right … Jen is in God’s hands.
There’s no better place to be.
May He continue covering you all with grace, peace, hope.
🙏🏻
Thank you Miss.Della.B and everyone else who responded. We are all positive and hopeful, celebrating little day by day things. All this is happening for a reason, I trust in our Lord.
Will continue prayers for Jen and all of you. Hold tight. God has her. God has us all.
Blessings. May God give you peace and alleviate your worries for your dear daughter.
Continuing in prayer for Jen & you, Alley. God bless.
Thank you so much JWoo. I’ll pass your info on to Jen.
I went back and read Jen’s, Kitten’s and your journey. What a beautiful and courageous family you are! G-d bless you all with love, comfort and healing.
Thank you Mims. So very kind of you to say that. All the glory is God’s. 🙏❤️
Alley,
Reposting this for you because I had some bad formatting issues – sorry Ad Rem!
Praying that the medical practitioners can unravel this mystery for Jen. I know it sounds crazy, but could Super Beets help? I know it’s a long shot – but could it hurt to try? Will certainly keep praying for Jen and her continued improvement and that this issue be used to ween her off of the steroids and to something less damaging. I know this is so concerning, but I keep praying for the day when The Lord Returns and our answers to our medical needs are found in the trees of the earth. Revelation 22:2.
My functional health practitioner also mentioned Arterosil HP for vascular health for me – but it was simply too expensive for my modest budget.
Thank You, Father God, for Your Great Concern over Jen and her family. Bless her, Father, with Your Healing and Divine Wisdom – in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
What Super Beets does – Super Beets is a dietary supplement derived from beetroot powder and is high in nitrates, which the body converts to nitric oxide (NO). Nitric Oxide is a potent vasodilator that:
1) relaxes and widens blood vessels
2) improves blood flow and circulation
3) may lower blood pressure (particularly in older adults)
4) and supports cardiovascular function.
Studies on beetroot juice or powdered supplements like SuperBeets have shown modest improvements in vascular function and reductions in systolic and diastolic blood pressure in healthy adults, but these studies are small and often not independent.
Thank you for this JWoo. I’ll share it with Jen. Food for health is something else I’ve been thinking about a lot lately.
God Bless you sweet lady. I’m still praying for Savannah and you daily.
May our Lord and Savoir bring our children and our families back to Him.
Amen, Anne – in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name – we pray in unity.
Dutchmans Wife
Based on “Dutchmans memorial compensation fund” at Givesendgo.com:
While I am a 55- year-old woman of Faith in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and while I am preparing for an inevitable life without my loving husband Jim, I still find myself weeping with the empathy of watching him struggle in pain and deteriorating health.
Yet, two solid truths strengthen me in order to nurture hubby Jim to the best of my ability:
#1 – Our internalized marriage vows include “in sickness and in health” and they are REAL; not just words.
And
#2 – In the middle of frequent weeping spells, Jesus whispers to me, “I’ve got you… I’ve got you…” And the truth sets me free, allowing the normal sorrow to be deep, present and justified, yet not debilitating.
My prayer request is that, even if you read these words and set them aside, God works through us in a deeper listening level. We may read or hear a message and dismiss it as “just another stranger’s words.”
But will God return you to them one day in the future and allow you to say a genuine prayer even then, no matter how fleeting or trivial it may seem? Prayer is never wasted if, even in the slightest, it is sincere.

I need two more cups of coffee to get started on this….thank you for the link.
PS-the margins have expanded somewhere?
FINALLY found it. It was JWoo’s comment about taking red beets. It contained a list which must have been copied in a format that our site did not recognize.
“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” Proverbs 11:25
Thank you!
Bless you, Sheryl. May the God of all comfort give you peace & uphold you.
Prayers of comfort for you and your beloved husband your Jim and our Dutchman. May his passing be peaceful and his welcome into Gods kingdom be glorious when God calls him back home. May your heart not be troubled.
That being said…my heart breaks for you. I too have my Jim…from when we were high school sweethearts. I know the time will come when one of us will be called home before the other. Prayers of solace as you go through these times. Your man is so loved on this branch and we envelope you with love as well. Blessings.
I am so very sorry to read these words Sheryl. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Dutch and your family. Although only on the Treehouse a few short years I always looked forward to seeing and reading anything posted by Dutch.
May the Good Lord above bless and keep you both, always.
Sheryl / Mrs. Dutchman,
Can’t talk right now as it’s a bit hard to see (sigh).
💞
Will be back

An honor to “compensate”.
Will do so tomorrow; promise.

prayers for you and your beloved husband.
amidst the anguish is the blessing of facing this together –
very hard, yes, but you will never regret each loving moment.
your spirit and your husband’s courage are a gift to all of us here.
take care of yourself while taking care of our cherished Dutchman.
🙏🏻
Prayers of comfort for Dutchman, may God relieve his pain and suffering.
May He give you and your family strength to endure and carry on in His works.
Ma’am your husbands words made me reevaluate my perspective on many occasions. This place will never be the same.
🎯🙏💕
Sheryl,
My heart and prayers are with both of you. Regardless whether I posted my prayers for both of you–they were sent daily. 🙏
Jim, the Dutchman has a special place in my heart. 💕
God bless you, dear lady.💕
God bless and strengthen you ! 🙏💕
Father God,
We thank You for bringing this family together. We thank You for the wisdom shared and the joy that comes in our fellowship. We ask You to comfort Jim’s family and friends through the hardest thing we do as human beings… suffering through the sting of death. Psalm 23 reminds us that “You Lead”, “You Prepare”, “You Make”… we are not without You on this journey.
Just as You breath life into The Valley of the Bones in the Book of Ezekiel… so too do You await us to give the Breathe of Life into Eternity.
Thank You for Your Goodness and Your Promise. It is through You that You Make all things new, perfect, healed, and whole.
Please grant comfort and peace and sustain us through these trying times. Our hope remains steadfastly in You, our Abba Father.
Blessings on Sheryl and family and friends and reminder that we will have a beautiful neighborhood together in Your Heavenly Realm. When we finally make it back Home.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, we pray.
Amen
AMEN
Dutch is such a beloved brother in our tight knit here, Sheryl. It grieves every one of us that he is in such pain, and I pray the Lord in His loving kindness will release him from it and provide him with a gentle passing. I lift my prayers that you will feel His arms wrapped tightly around you every minute in the days to come…
We in this loving Tree stand in watch and spirit with you as we bid farewell to a man who offered so much of himself and his wisdom. I am weeping with you. Lord, be merciful.
Until we meet once more, dearest brother, in the joyous presence of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. God give you rest 🙏🏻💕
AMEN
Praying
Sending prayers to you and Jim, may the Lord watch over you both. He is a light and an inspiration to many and we are thankful for him. Blessings
I remember the beginning of this chapter…a problem with a vehicle…
Thinking and praying for you…Maybe God hold all y’all close…
FYI to anyone interested (DEEP DIVE as SD says)….
Stillwater had done a superb job of cosoladating all of the Dutchman linkage in one place.

Thanks, Stillwater, for such a selfless and generous contribution
God bless you, Sir
Stillwater the faithful ,thanks for all you do and have done .
Indeed, Nim!
Thank you, Stillwater!!
This will break all our hearts, sis. Thank you, dear Ad rem, and thank Stillwater please for providing an opportunity to pause, read, and remember our brother’s thoughts which always made me think beyond my own 💕
Thank you.
I have saved the link to my reading list.
Disregard my current request.
Sheryl, I will remember ya’ll in my prayers.
Dutchman has been such a big part of the treehouse conversations, we will all miss him dearly.
Thank you for sharing him with us.
May the peace of our Lord be with you and comfort you.
We are weeping with you, and also praising God that Dutchman will be with Jesus.
🙏❤️
Prayers for you and Dutchman. It was Dutchman and his comments that gave me the courage to start commenting after many years of just reading TCTH. I always look forward to Dutchman’s comments. Will continue to pray for Dutchman to receive physical and spiritual comfort and for you to have the “peace that passes understanding” from our Lord, Jesus Christ. I am weeping for you and with you.
I have no words, only love and strength that I am channeling to you both no matter where you are. ❤️💪🏻
Looking back at when my own dearest friend and beloved husband was preparing to move on from his earthly sojourn, some thirty years ago, it was a very surreal time for both of us. We were devastated as we closed each chapter of our vibrant lives together and the dreams that would not come to pass.
But for those darkest hours we may have overlooked the Light that had always surrounded us to bring so many blessings.
When people asked how I was coping with the enormity of the situation, I would always respond, “We’re okay, but GOD HELP ME the day he dies.” I didn’t realize until much later that “GOD, HELP ME” was a heartfelt prayer.
As you experience these bittersweet days with your husband Jim, may you one day taste twice as much joy for your lives well spent.
And know that God does answer our prayers.
The instant I woke up that morning I knew that this would be the day I had always dreaded, because God’s presence was distinctly felt and instantly brought us a sense of calm and peace.
Our spiritual family immediately surrounded us and the heavens opened to welcome my husband home. I later told people that the room was “full.” I whispered to the love of my life that it was okay for him to go into the Light, and he did.
May God bless you Sheryl, and hold you both in His loving care, until you meet again.
Your husband’s words on this site were welcome and so informative. He added so much to the group here and was always counted on to bring some good things
to the discussion table. I have been praying for his health and will continue to pray for his next journey to the Lord.
Praying for all of you who are close to him and love him, that you find peace in Jesus and your sorrow will be comforted by knowing Jesus will
take you all in his caring arms. God bless you for being Jim’s loving wife and caring for him so well.
May the Lord be an ever present help in this time of pain and sorrow.
How blessed the Treehouse has been through your husband’s wisdom, particularly Dutchman’s expressions of his faithful hope that God is working all things out for the good of those whom He has called to His purposes, including right now, in this country.
“We are winning.” Yes, Dutch, we are.
We Treepers have only known the fruitful impact of his words here, while the true fullness of his fruitful impact on his family and his world in real life is assuredly much greater.
Thank you for sharing him with us. Please let him know we love him, and are praying for both of you.
🙏🙏 🙏
Prayers to Heaven and love to both of you, dear friends.
Mims
Ma’am God bless and condolences in your loss and us Treepers here as well. May Dutch rest in peace and in eternal salvation. God willing. Amen!
Dearest Sheryl,
Thank you for letting us know how your dear husband, Jim, aka Dutchman, is doing, and how you’re doing, too.
I pray that the Lord, Jesus Christ, holds you both close to Himself as He holds you close to one another in these ‘in sickness and health’ days.
I pray the Holy Spirit of the Living God pours His peace and comfort on you in the way that each of you needs in every moment.
I pray that Yahweh, the Only Wise God of all grace and compassion, will make His presence, His strength, His assurance know to you both in ways that only He can, and in ways that only you may witness for His glory.
I pray that you will both be full of joy as you watch the mighty hand of the Lord unfold His matchless mercy over Jim’s life.
I pray you and Jim will be assured that before for the foundation of the earth God wrote the number of days each of us would live, and no matter what, once that day arrives there is nothing we can do to not fall into our loving Father’s arms.
1 Peter 1:3-9
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade.
This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.
In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”
Praying for Abba to grant you His greatest, most glorious and precious mercy, eternally.
Joining you in prayer at this sad time. May God bless you and comfort you and Dutchman.
I wish I had found the Treehouse while the Dutchman was in his prime. I would have benefitted enormously by reading his words of wisdom and insight.
He has left a lasting legacy.
God bless you and Jim, Sheryl, and keep you in His care.
Not certain if this is a current thread.
Just a prayer request for Wordman and family. Please God, enjoin all of Wordman’s family in your embrace.
Amen.
🙏💕
Joining you in prayer for Wordman and all his family and loved ones, that the Lord bless them and lovingly provide for all their needs.
Dear Lord, I send prayers for my Taller Hall and my mother. The last two people alive in my earthly universe.
Both are having problems.
Please give them the strength to endure as best possible. I ask not for myself but for calmness in your plan for both.
Amen.
Prayers for your family and you to have peace and understanding in awaiting God’s plan.
It is so hard to have patience sometimes Lord, please give us all patience to endure all that is going on around us.
Amen
Father God,
We lift Wordman, the Taller Hall, and his family and friends. Give them blessed assurance and mercy to lead them through trying times. Indwell in them the serenity to know that You Make all things new and bring them peace, love, and joy that surpasses all understanding.
Thank You Father for Your Help with our race as we aspire to finish well.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
AMEN
Praying for Taller Hall, WSB’s mother, and the whole family, that the Lord bless them and lovingly provide for all their needs.
Please add Cathy in ne mississippi to daily prayers for healing from cancer and treatment damage. She specially needs prayers to co-operate with the medical team trying to care for her.
Prayers for Cathy. May the Holy Spirit lift her veil of fear and trepidation so she can be a partner in her treatment. May God give her comfort and peace as the doctors work through You Lord. We give You the glory.
Praying for Cathy’s healing from both cancer and side effects of the treatment. Asking the Lord to provide the best possible care and grant Cathy peace of mind, in Jesus’ name.
Praying for my daughter 🙏
Praying for your daughter to be held in God’s embrace. And for you to have peace, understanding, and patience while she endures her current struggle.
Being a mama is so very challenging these days.
Joining you in prayer for your daughter. May God bless your entire family!
Praying for wisdom. Jen got to UVA for the MRI, but minutes into it she had a full blown panic attack. I don’t understand, as it’s at least the 10th one she’s had since the stroke.
Rather than treat it and try again they canceled it, and her doctor appt that was to be today. Her Hubby had to turn around and drive nearly 3 hrs back home.
Jen was very upset and agitated, I tried talking to her to no avail. Part of the “brain injury process”? I just don’t know..
Please help me find the right words. Thank You Lord for getting us this far.
Good morning Alleycats. I’m so sorry Jen had a panic attack. I was thinking your daughter has been through so much trauma to her body/brain so I guess her panic attack doesn’t seem to be all that surprising.
The fact the doctor canceled the MRI maybe is to give her some space and they’ll try again another day.
Then I got a new podcast just now. I have no idea if this will pertain to your daughter but I immediately thought of her. Max Lugavere is interviewing an author that wrote a book called the biology of trauma. ..how the body holds fear, pain, and overwhelm, and how to heal it written by Aimee apigian, MD.
Prayers for Jen as her brain is healing and prayers for you as well.
Thank you so much NanaB. I’ll definitely check it out.
Jen is waiting for a call back; doc is trying get her into a nearby facility with Open MRI.
She sounded ok on the phone just now. But I can tell she’s frightened. I didn’t push or dwell on her illness, just happy talk.
My husband had a stroke 9-10 years ago and had multiple MRI’s afterwards. I don’t know if they gave him Xanax or Valium prior and don’t know if Jen’s doctor would be willing to prescribe it beforehand and maybe she had it on board before. There are multiple stress reducing teas out there too. Just throwing some things out there. The teas are very nice and I drink them when I’m rattled and they do help. Blessings to you and Jen and her family.
❤️❤️🙏 Jen did say that the nurse mentioned to her she had a right to request some sedation if necessary.
Praying for Jen, for her good health and healing, continuing progress in her recovery, and for guidance and compassion for all caretakers and medical personnel involved in supporting and caring for her.
Thank you so much, the phoenix. Every single thought and prayer is felt.
Apologies for not being here more. I do pray regularly for all supporters of President Trump, and that of course includes Treepers, so you’re all covered in prayer that way. Also praying here now for everyone on this prayer thread and all your intentions, that God bless you and lovingly provide for all your needs.
Please pray for my brother who has ALS. He has a complicated surgery on Monday, this will be the third attempt. If he has to have full anesthesia he may not recover and could need to be on a ventilator.
Father God,
Maker of Heaven and Earth… the Breather of Life into all beings great and small. Have Mercy Father on Menagerie’s brother and settle his body to accept this surgical procedure and for it to be a miraculous success.
Father, our hearts and minds are so heavy with the plights of our world, but none is too great for Your Precious Care… You Are Concerned over what concerns us, Father. You See us in our smallness and You Raise us up and call us blessed, children, heirs… and You Seek us because You value us so greatly that You Deem to share Your Eternity with us! Who are we, that You Are So Mindful of us?!!
I can barely contain the Joy of the thought of living in Your Presence for Eternity in the Home that Jesus prepared rooms for each of us in. His earthly brothers and sisters.
Thank You, Abba, for Who You Were, Who You Are, and Who You Promise always to Be. We can’t wait to see what You do for your faithful servant, Menagerie.
Thank You. We love You and we freely worship You in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Joining you in prayer for good health and healing, a successful surgery, and a rapid recovery for your brother. Jesus, I trust in You!
Praying for successful surgery for your brother & the healing touch of the Lord to be upon him. God bless, Menagerie.
I prayed for your brother, and for you too Menagerie. May God be with all the doctors and technicians in surgery.
Please hold and comfort Menagerie’s brother while asleep so he comes through with no complications. By Your power and mercy Lord, I believe in miracles.
Will be praying for your brother today 🙏
God, hear my simple prayer. Please help Menagerie’s brother get through this complicated surgery today.
Praying for your brother, Menagerie.
✝️💞
A pray for healing physically and spiritually for James/Jim who was injured in an accident.
Praying for a complete and rapid recovery and restoration to good health for James/Jim after the accident, and may he be healed both physically and spiritually.
Prayers for Jim to have complete healing and recovery.
I have a rough Nebuchadnezzar + fiery furnace meeting at 9AM EST on Monday. Please pray for me for Shadrach. Meschach, and Abednego faith and that the “Fourth Person” shows up and that God proves me worthy to speak and I don’t get eaten up by flames!
God gave me multiple Esther callings when applying for this job.
We’ve lost 2 of 13 field reps and 4 more are on the cusp… this sadly run earthly kingdom is on shaky ground!
God, help me to speak bravely, firmly, and with great love.
To His Glory, forever and ever. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Praying for you, sis! May God give you the words, and them the sense to listen, agree, and implement sensible reforms.
Let it be done as you say according to His will. God bless you, Joan. Go get em!
Praying for a successful meeting for you and that the Holy Spirit will provide the words you need.
His will be done, sweet JWoo. I have a feeling you are a force to be reckoned with, yourself.
God please continue to keep and protect Savannah. ❤️🙏
Dear Alleycats and Admin,
I accidentally flagged your comment while scrolling. I didn’t mean to and tried to reverse the damage but could not.
Please forgive my fat fingers.
It’s ok. I do it sometimes too when I use my phone to read.
I’ve never known you to speak otherwise, dear Woo 💕
🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻
I’ve been thinking of you and your family all day, Betsy. My prayers for your son in law to be fully healed. I hope he and your daughter finally have some comfort and rest. 🙏❤️
Little side note, when my Jen became a nurse, her first hospital job in Richmond VA was in the OR. She did so well after a few months they put her on the transplant team. It became her passion.
Bless, dear sis…
Update 8 days after transplant: doing so well with adjustments in medications. Every single day post op there is recovery. So we pray the portents are favourable for a complete return to excellent health.
But with our relief comes a deep sorrow for the young man (we believe) who lost his life. And for his family who gave permission for the donation. Their gift was offered to someone else on the list but this person was too far away, and so Brian (who was also some distance away) was able to race back, joined (God bless them) by two police escorts over two counties.
The mix of emotions is indescribable and humbling. There are no words I can find to explain.
So I am praying for your Jen, Alleycats, that she is well on her way to recovery in order that she can pursue her passion. Her trials will make her that much better as a nurse who has been afflicted and understands how very much patients in her charge will need the innate compassion she will bring to them.
A loving Father will bring her a new light so that she may be a light for those she cares for.
Thank you, girl, and everyone who offered healing prayers for my first born Caroline and her Brian. They were heard, and we are so very grateful 🙏🏻😘
Especially were we all so relieved that Brian’s scheduled live donor was spared from going through surgery which would have left him in pain and a long recovery time and no guarantees he wouldn’t have future problems. Add this to the many reasons we have been praising the Holy name of Jesus Christ Who watches over everyone whose lives intersected to bring about this procedure.
Goodness me, I can’t believe I missed your post Betsy. Praise Jesus, how wonderful that Brian is doing well and his body has accepted this gift. Truly from God, it is. 🙏🤗 May He continue to Bless and protect your precious family.
Thank you for praying for Jen. More on her recovery below. 🙏😘
Praying that God blessed you in multiple ways today, especially in giving you His peace.
Thank you, all, dear sweet friends. I’m afraid the results were not favorable.
More losses. I simply couldn’t take any more lies, gaslighting, and ill behavior. I walked out today. I was polite, but I could stand no more.
Seems two others felt the same as they walked before me. I didn’t know and hadn’t heard until I resigned.
Their data is so corrupted. This artificial intelligence, auto-populating and correcting data… works as well as the auto correct we complain about on our phone. They went woke…. and now are paying the piper. Their disdain for their staff and sales force reeks.
Nothing replaces a human audit and common sense guidance. A.I. valuing equipment trade ins when the information within is crowd sourced and full of flaws… is scary scary stuff.
Execs don’t think they need to “do anything” anymore… just push a button and let it automate.
Data badly corrupted… as corrupted as their souls.
I am praying that God blesses you in this decision, provides a new direction rapidly, and gives you a few nights of much-needed good sleep!
(hugs) and blessings to you, sweet gentle Prayer Warrior. I am very tightly wound right now. May have a bit of a health “flare” happening causing some pain. High levels of stress stimulate and elevate Cortisol “fight or flight” so I’m working through it right now.
Scrolling back through as I pray for Treepers – Our God is an AWESOME GOD!
Pray for strength and protection for my son Gregory and his son Ezra. He is in Germany with his German wife and their four year old son.
His wife wants wants a divorce. She has inherited a house and money from her family and no longer needs the marriage as part of her” destiny” a direction which her mother actively supports.
His wife has also adopted some strange and obsessive occult beliefs, which my son does not share.
They have been married 15 years and lived here until her father died. My son trusted his wife when they left for Germany three years ago, but she has gone off the rails recently with these beliefs and the influence of her mother.
Greg cannot leave Germany to even come visit without leaving his son behind because his wife will not consent to let their son travel out of country.
I pray for God’s hand on this marriage, to expel these occult influences on his wife, and wisdom for my son. If they did not have a child I would recommend he flee.
Joining you in prayer for Greg, his wife, and their son: for strength and guidance for Greg, for conversion for his wife so that she will turn away from the occult and turn to Jesus, for their marriage to become strengthened in Christ, and for the safety and welfare of their son.
Thanking you phoenix for joining me in prayer.
There is nothing I can do but pray for the help of our Father, in Jesus name. Amen.
Praying for your family, lindak.
Thank you! My son is such a good man and loving father.
Father, there is no place that You cannot reach. Nothing unattainable.
Have mercy for this family and bring rationality, love, and peace to this family again.
It grieves You so, Father, to watch families breaking. We ask You to bind and heal.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
This is horrible, lindak. Praying in the name of Jesus that these dark forces would be bound & for protection for your son & grandson. God bless.
Please pray for Dr. Jordan Peterson – that he fully recovers. I fear this is a spiritual battle we are in and he and his family are being attacked for speaking the truth.
It is a Spiritual battle, friend. In overdrive. Dr Peterson has sure contributed much fearlessly. Praying for him and his family and his grandson… who apparently went to the ER the same day, if I heard correctly from his daughter. It’s so much to bear.
Father, please hear our prayers and may we honor You with the deferral of our preferences on how things “should be in our minds eye” as we wait Your Perfect Will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Your Ways. Your Truth. Your Eternity.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Just learned about Jordan’s illness.
Sent an email to his organization asking them to forward the information found in the links below to Jordan’s family that liposomal vitamin C has been shown to cure sepsis. I included the links below — which I believe many here have already seen.
Liposomal vitamin C has been known about and studied for years, but when big harma got involved, it was poopooed away.
Liposomal vitamin C can be bought online and at vitamin/supplement stores. Cheaper online. Liposomal vitamin C has been shown in scientific studies (I’d have to dig to find the link) to work just as well as intravenous vitamin C in fighting illnesses.
God can use anything, everything, or nothing to heal Jordan. I pray His sovereign will is to fully heal Jordan to do more of His work here on earth. In Jesus matchless name.

Asking humbly for prayer for my son, Brett. He has 2 new health issues as of today, an enlarged spleen and an inguinal hernia.
Being a disabled Marine veteran of the Iraq War, he is in the VA health system, which can be a struggle also, so please pray for prompt evaluation, treatment, with a benign and healing outcome.
Thank you, dear Treepers!
Praying for Brett to receive the care that he needs & for a touch from the Lord. God bless.
Praying for Brett’s good health and healing!
Lord, we come to You asking for complete healing for Brett. Work through the doctors and nurses caring for him, with the power only You have Lord. Please hold his waiting family in Your embrace, give them comfort and peace in knowing You have them in Your arms. Hear a mother’s plea for mercy, Lord. In Jesus’ name.
May God be merciful and swift to his aide. In Jesus’s Name, AMEN
Praying for heeling and hope.
Please pray for Heidi and James. In the early morning hours, Heidi who was due to deliver her second baby in two weeks went to the hospital and found out that there was no heartbeat and her baby had died. She is waiting now to deliver her dead baby.
James, my son’s best friend has had more than his share of loss and sorrow. His father died before he was a teenager and his only brother died in his early twenties of a fentanyl overdose.
Please pray the Jesus may carry them through this.
My heart breaks for Heidi and James.
No words to offer, except those few that I lift to Almighty God in Christ, begging for divine comfort and peace to them both.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, I pray in unity with you. Please, Jesus… come!
I’m speechless and share in your mourning.
Jazzbogie, I am so sorry for this heartbreaking loss. I pray God holds Heidi and James close to him. And that He gives your son strength to endure this as well, to be a rock for his friend James. God Bless and protect them all, in Jesus’s name.
I am so very sorry, am praying!!!
I cannot find the right words but know my heart is with all and aches for this tremendous loss.
Prayers for all here. Adding prayers for Miss Dell.B. Praying for healing and hoping she returns to us soon.
Hi NanaB…. Yes, praying for Miss Della too… she did post to the OT thread, I believe it was yesterday. She was replying to an attack on Christian content posting on the thread.
Thx JWoo. I’ll go try to find it. Praying for you and Savannah. Here’s a hug for you.
❤️ (hugs)
Praying. 🙏🙏
A frivolous prayer,?….Please pray to the patron saint of baseball…that the Cubs can hang on and win this one tonight at Wrigley…they play their arch rival, Milwaukee Brewers…
Hello , my beautiful prayer warriors,
you all are the absolute best
Those of you that know my cancer story have had your prayers for me answered.
Make no mistake your prayers have been answered.
I have been on this cancer roller coaster since 2013.
3 surgeries and then I was doing well until 3 years ago when cancer came back. I knew it came back because the area where the original cancer was felt swollen. I had to fight my PCP at the time to get her to authorize a ct scan. Yup there was a tumor.
I did radiation and take an estrogen blocker. Plus pet scans every three months. Oncologist wanted me to take targeted therapy made by Phizer. Nope not on my life. Not going to do it.
so in January of this year the cancerous lymph nodes in my chest started getting a bit more active. Ackk not good.
thats when I started taking ivermectin. In march the metastatic lymph nodes were shrinking or gone.
Also in March I had a new dna blood test from Natera. It can detect circulating cancer cells in your blood and is way better than a pet scan. No more pet scans for me. Yay
ok I know this is long but I just received my latest blood test results and there are no zero nada cancer cells. Praise the Lord God.
I AM CANCER FREE. Thanks to your prayers here. I am forever grateful. I just sit here and am in awe of the blessings that through your prayers I have received.
my most heartfelt gratitude.
peace
love to all

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen! 🙂
Thanks be to God! Blessings to you bc survivor… warrior!
Hallelujah to the Lamb! I am SO happy for you Eve!
Hallelujah! Wonderful news!
That’s incredible news. Thank you for this testimony of His power and mercy. Thank You, God. 🙏❤️
(Huuuuuggggs) and tears. So very happy, friend. God’s amazing!
God can and will bring dry bones back to life, and God can and will heal whom He wants whenever He wants.
Your story is an amazing blessing, Eve. Amazing as only the Lord can do.
And like young David killed a giant no warrior wanted to fight, an inert substance known as ivermectin killed a “bug” that causes great fear in many people.
Hallelujah and rejoicing for God’s goodness and grace upon your life.
I am so happy to hear this! May God continue to bless you and keep you healthy!
Thank you all.
I am truly blessed. The cancer noise in the back of my mind is gone. I walk around the house and I clap my hands together and do a fist bump to God. Hallelujah.
Im in the process of shutting down my garden for the winter. It’s a lot of work but the weather is beautiful and I’m reminded of God’s bounty that I harvested this year.
I planted 186 cloves of garlic yesterday yummy 😋 and a bunch of irises.
my son is coming up from Florida, I live in nne tennessee, next week. We will be cutting down 2 huge juniper trees 💪🏼
Anyhow I’m feeling stronger every day.
I probably should post on the open thread but I like it here ❤️
have a blessed weekend
peace
Eve
[I probably should post on the open thread but I like it here]
Haha! I’m with you, Eve – this is a good place!
>>
Gracious God, Thank you for all You have done for Eve!
Not only for physical healings, but for spiritual blessings.
Those times You have walked with her, and talked with her, along the dark and narrow way.
Times You have poured out comfort, peace, guidance, strength, faith, perseverance, endurance — everything she needed.
Continue to provide for Eve in the days ahead, dear Lord.
Remind her of the very sick woman with a bleeding disorder in the Gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke, John.
She touched the Hem of Your robe – by faith – and was healed.
And You are the same – yesterday, today and forevermore.
Lord, the healed woman is now with You … because our earthly bodies wear out.
But please help us on earth to keep touching Your HEM till we are with HIM.
For Christ’s sake and His glory. Amen.
🙏🏻
Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name. (1)
Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits— (2)
Who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases, (3)
Who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion, (4)
Psalm 103
Praise the Lord, O my soul … bless His holy name!
I set my tears, my worries, my broken heart, my guilt, my shame… before The Lord. Laid it at His Feet… for there was nothing I could do with it.
Then… then… I raised my eyes, my gaze, my ears to Him, my hands… and I praised Him for His Goodness. For all things and I yielded to Him to show me.
And He Lifted me.
Praise God, He Lifted me… and I am no longer bound by the chains of sadness, terror, or defeat.
I am happy in Him.
Your name is graven on His hand,
Your name is written on His heart,
While in Heaven He stands,
NO ONE can bid you to depart.
One with Himself you cannot die,
Your soul is purchased by His blood,
Your life is hid with Christ on High,
With Christ, your Savior and your God.
Praying with you, and all in need on these pages and beyond, in Jesus glorious Name.
Oh Raven, if you haven’t seen this JGM recording… do. Do take time.
God sent His Son to ransom us before our afflictions. Before our diagnostics. Before the attacks of the evil one.
His Work Is Finished and He Loves us so very much!
Love you so much. I wish I could grab each one of you and just hold you so tight. My family. The tapestry of the family of God.
https://rumble.com/v702nhe-you-no-longer-have-to-suffer.html
I sent this prayer to her… and she responded she loves me.
Heart soaring!
I’m very very careful… not to push, prod, or pull. I’m just here… a small island, open to her as she drifts closer.
Safe and warm. Our sweet hair dresser, a wonderful sister to me, reached out to her too. Got a video and photos.
Savannah is developing her village of support and this tragedy has brought such generous love of those who were in our sphere to gently go after her and draw her to them.
I couldn’t ask for more. Also spoke to my sister for the first time in 17 years yesterday. She found out her boss died while on the phone with me. The Lord is working on her too.
One more forgiveness I’m being drawn to extend… and this the hardest one, but imperative on my heart.
The Lord Has given me so much to be grateful over and some job opportunities that, pieced together, may prove beautiful, too.
Leaning only on Him. Your prayers for us are being steadily answered. I love you so much, brothers and sisters.
Yours,
Joan
Amen! 🙏❤️
JWoo, I am tearfully thanking our God for the little “baby steps” progress with your daughters. I don’t comment a whole lot but I pray for all the Treepers anytime their names fall upon my heart. Also, all the Treepers and any on the prayer list are permanently on my prayer list when I go to bed. I usually fall asleep praying for you all.
I just wanted you all to know that I am reading the prayer requests eventhough I may not always respond individually. Love to all of you.
Good afternoon warriors. Jen gave me another update, she got to have the MRI done. Not an open one but everything worked out miraculously for her to re-do the failed attempt.
This time she was sent to a facility associated with UVA only an hour drive away. It was the very last appointment of the day, and the techs took great pains to help Jen. They gave her a warmed blanket, a soft sleep mask, and a mild sedative. Earbuds instead of headphones, and they even changed the standard shield that holds the head still on the table, to one that has a higher arch so as not to touch her face directly. Lastly they moved the table into the MRI machine inch by inch so she would not feel the movement.
I am so very thankful for those sweet ladies. God knew exactly what Jen needed and provided it. She will see her neurologist on the 16th to discuss the scan and what is possible for continuing treatment.
Her therapy is going great, still has balance problems but works around it really well. She is back to cooking dinner almost every night, with assistance from Kitten. Thanks be to God for His mercy and grace. Thank you, prayer warriors for everything you have done. Jen’s life improves little by little and she is extremely grateful to everyone.
May our Good Merciful Lord be praised!! Alleycats, from my mother’s heart to yours (hug)
And WOO HOO GOD!!!
(Huuuugggggsss) back, sweet JWoo. God is definitely hard at work. Still praying daily for you and Savannah.
Wonderful to hear this good news about the successful MRI !!! Sending up prayers of thanksgiving along with continuing prayers for Jen’s healing.
Thank you, the phoenix. We are so grateful for each day.
Thanking the Lord for giving her such compassionate people to help her get through the MRI as unstressful as possible. Will continue to pray.
Father God, Abba,
As we go about our days, I pray for all who read this, a supernatural revelation of their Spiritual Gifting, assigned by Your Authority, through The Holy Spirit.
Inspire in those reading here, a deep desire to know You and to set their minds, hands, and feet to motion in Your Service. Let us not waste any precious time with fruitless endeavors and may we all work with earnest to bring Glory and Worship to Your Kingdom and we give You Praise and Thanksgiving.
How magnificent are Your Ways. A wonder and joy to behold. With breathless awe, we partake in Your Countenance and watch in childlike wonder Your Rule.
Thank You, Abba Father, for tearing the veil that separated us at Your Son’s death and Rising.. that we should no longer be kept away from Your Presence. You invite us all in and what an honor that is!
We breathe in Your Life and we exhale our testimony to Your Faithfulness and Provision. Thank You, Father, for guiding our every step and making our path sure.
We love You and thank You. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Thank you all who prayed for my brother. He had his surgery and is doing well so far since then, medically. He’s quite depressed, and struggling. I appreciate that so many would pause and pray for him.
Menagerie,
Lifting your brother in prayer. The very fact that your brother woke up this morning… testifies that God Isn’t Done with him yet and that he’s got a divine purpose.
May I respectfully offer this recording from JGM? It is such a POWERFUL message of God’s abiding love for us during our suffering. I’ve clung to it and listened a couple times.
Maybe you listen first and then offer to your brother, along with a warm hug from me in Central Indiana.
I’ve been having lots of these “Let go” moments and have been really blessed to see God act in ways I would never have imagined. We are persevering and I pray the same for your brother and that he find and claim His Joy that The Lord Has waiting for him. He loves him and I love you!
https://rumble.com/v702nhe-you-no-longer-have-to-suffer.html
Done.
Continuing prayers for your brother’s full recovery. May God especially bless him with peace, love, and joy.
May God continue to bless your brother and you as well. I pray God will lift your brother’s spirits and give him hope and rest.
So very glad to hear this, Menagerie. Praise God for His mercy. Blessings to you & your brother both.
Good news Menagerie. I will continue to pray for your brother and ask our merciful God to help him with his depression and his struggles.
This is not the first time this situation has allegedly happened at this church. Nor the second. Nor the third allegedly of course. I smell a set up, that said, i am asking for prayers for the alleged victim and the accused and perhaps her greedy lawyers. In today’s world after what the Catholic Church as been through, I cannot imagine a priest ever wanting to be alone with a woman let alone in these alleged circumstances…this was my church, before 2013, I go elsewhere…my kids were horribly bullied at the school, way back…
https://patch.com/illinois/joliet/priest-holy-family-catholic-church-sexually-assaulted-woman-inside-hammel-woods
The Pieta Prayer Book instructs us to take our concerns to Jesus when we find or see a priest on the alter, unworthily celebrating Mass because it is between Jesus and the priest.
Mary Queen of the Clergy, Pray for them.
In the church that I have been going to since about 2013, when the second event was brought up by the Pastor, during a Sunday homily….I was looking at the huge crucifix that is suspended from the rafters…looking at our sweet Savior’s head as Father was talking about it…this Crucifix is monstrously huge…
I do not know if my eyes were playing games with me, but I swear on the Holy Bible,
I saw the head of Jesus move and lean further downward, and lower….in grief.
A Prayer for Priests
Keep them, I pray Thee, dearest Lord, keep them, for they are Thine –
Thy priests whose lives burn out before Thy consecrated shrine.
Keep them, for they are in the world, though from the world apart;
When earthly pleasures tempt, allure, – shelter them in Thy heart.
Keep them, and comfort them in hours of loneliness and pain,
When all their life of sacrifice for souls seems but in vain.
Keep them, and O remember, Lord, they have no one but Thee,
Yet they have only human hearts, with human frailty.
Keep them as spotless as the Host, that daily they caress;
Their every thought and word and deed, deign, dearest Lord, to bless.
Our Father, etc., Hail Mary, etc.
Mary, Queen of the Clergy, pray for them.

Prayer to Defeat the Work of Satan
O Divine Eternal Father, in union with your Divine Son and the Holy Spirit, and through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg You to destroy the power of your greatest enemy – the evil spirits.
Cast them into the deepest recesses of hell and chain them there forever! Take possession of your Kingdom, which You have created and which is rightfully yours.
Heavenly Father, give us the reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I repeat this prayer out of pure love for You with every beat of my heart and with every breath I take. Amen.
https://mostsacredheart.com/prayers/pieta.html
Father God,
We pray for our stewards, our teachers, our prophets, the leaders of our flock tasked with serving Your children.
Protect them Father and send Your Angels to stand as sentry, a Holy Army around your flock.
We are Your Remnant and we pray for purity and safety.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN AMEN AMEN
Please pray for my son Sean, 27 yrs old.
He shot himself this past Sunday. He passed away last night in conjunction with the donation of his organs to Gift of Life.
He was a man of faith, Bible app on phone, always wore a Cross necklace.
He was smart and talented. He formed a band, and played gigs regularly.
Unfortunately, he was also a tortured soul too.
My wife, my daughters (one is his twin), and myself are devastated.
Please pray for him.
Oh, KMLV. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Heavenly Father, please lift up this devastated family and help them through their unimaginable grief. Please receive Sean’s soul into your Heavenly realm so that he may be given eternal life free of confusion and torture, and filled with joy. Please hold together Sean’s parents and sister in their agony, give them hope and knowledge that we are only on this earth temporarily. Let them know they will be together in eternity and that You will not forsake them.
May God Bless and protect you all. From a mother to a father, I cannot imagine what you are experiencing, I can only offer my sincere love and prayers to your family. Please come here as often as you need, the prayer warriors in this treehouse are incredible.
Amen, thankyou. 🙁
My dearest KMLV, I’m shattered to hear of your son’s death. He sounds so much like my own boy.
My son also shot himself, 11yrs ago. It is so tragic, such a loss with their lives ahead of them.
I pray for you, your wife and daughters, and for Sean. G-d will wrap him and you in His loving arms.
G-d, please bless, protect and comfort KMLV and his family, for their pain is great. Surround them with Your love and heal their grieving hearts.
And take Sean and hold him tightly to Your loving breast. Amen
My heartfelt prayers for you and your family. May your family find strength and solace through God’s devine grace during this difficult time.
Amen
This is absolutely heartbreaking. I pray that the God of all peace will give you & your family the comfort that only He can in such a time as this. The Lord keep you & bless you, KMLV.
Amen
KMLV,
the devil is a prowling lion seeking to isolate and destroy. As a mother to a teen daughter who is now “at risk”… I mourn with you with my mother’s heart. This world is very hard and without one another, along with our full faith in God, how could any of us survive?
I believe your son is in The Lord’s Precious Presence and God Is Mighty with compassion and love.
May God bind you and your family, especially his twin who shares so intimate a bond, may you all be woven and bound in His Warmth and generous comfort. Peace I pray over all of you as you wrestle with the “whys”behind his actions. Know that it was not him who took his own life… but an evil spirit that overtook him… but that spirit does NOT have the final say… for Jesus overcame death.
Psalm 139… where can I go that God cannot find me? No where. Your son belongs to GOD and he is his precious child.
Our children are not “ours”… we hold loosely to that which we are placed stewards over and commit them fully to their Creator Who Has Final Say over their lives.
May you find peace in your sorrows and may your joyous memories of your son overcome you and take over your thoughts.
God Is Sovereign and He Loves you all with an everlasting love.
If you’ll scoot over on that curb, I would like to join you and sit quietly as we weep and pray together… in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Pray for the Conversion of the “No Kings” Protestors – Ground Report from Northeast Ohio
Hoped to avoid coming across any of the protests going on today but the Lord apparently had other plans. Especially since I was traveling for the purpose of bird watching, which is normally best at dawn and dusk, but today I felt led to get on the road around 10:30 AM rather than wait until after lunch, and go to a certain park where a rare species of bird has been hanging out.
Of course I ran into a group of protestors at an intersection and had to stop at the traffic light. They were, like most are reporting, basically older white people who had likely been hippies in their youth. At first, the group seemed relatively quiet. Not wanting to seem like I was supporting them (silence = agreement and so does “honk your horn if you support …” and so does looking at them in a friendly, sympathetic manner) but also not wanting to be combative, I did the best I could think of at the time: raised my folded hands up on the steering wheel in a posture of prayer, looked ahead rather than looking at the demonstrators (while keeping safely focused on the traffic signal, etc.), and prayed as I waited for the light to turn.
Well, apparently the crowd didn’t like that, because they started chanting some slogan. Couldn’t hear what it was because there was no way I was going to roll down the windows. Just kept praying and driving while there were demonstrators in sight. One guy old enough to know better seemed like he made sure to cross the street and make a point to walk right in front of me to inconvenience me and make me wait for him, but fortunately he had the good sense to keep moving rather than insist on standing in the middle of the street. I will add that I was not wearing any MAGA gear, just my usual hiking clothes.
Definitely seems like a spiritual battle. And it seems that if the “No Kings” folks don’t like prayer, we should pray more. For America. For President Trump. For all American patriots. For peace. And for the No Kings people.
Would also appreciate some prayers for some private intentions.
I’m grateful you are safe. These No Kings people don’t see their irony in trying to suppress, usurp, and intimidate. Yet very few of them are really scary and you probably could just yell at them really loudly and they would recoil in piddles.
One thing I learned working in urban Los Angeles.. despite my diminutive height and size (at the time)… walk upright, with no distractions, make eye contact.. and if anyone invaded your space… act crazier than them. People are more adverse at attacking if their victim looks like they’ll put up a fight.
That knowledge has served me well.
Prayers for your intentions and that God be honored and praised in them.
Blessings, Phoenix and thank you for praying for Savannah.
Hi JWoo,
Thank you very much for your kind comments and especially your prayers! As a small woman not getting any younger, I hear you. This past summer, I came face to face alone with two coyotes in broad daylight. And years ago, there was an instance of a group of guys bullying me at a fencing class for a medieval reenactment group. In the heat of anger, I picked up a sword, walked out onto the field, and challenged the ringleader to a duel, one on one, just me and him. Guess I was crazier than them, only I wasn’t acting. Nor was I bluffing. The ringleader chickened out, and the guys left me alone after that.
That said, when you hear stories of men getting pulled out of cars and beaten by leftist mobs, or having their cars beaten up on, it can give you pause. Especially with my temper. So I chose to raise my hands in prayer and hope they didn’t interpret that as me trying to appear “holier than thou” even though I was in fact angry. I did receive some confirmation today in church that made me feel better about how I handled things: The first reading was from Exodus 17, where Moses fights a battle against Amalek by raising up his hands to pray!
Meanwhile, thank you very much for your prayers on my behalf, they are greatly appreciated!
And to me, what happened yesterday with the “No Kings” people felt very much like a call to prayer and a reminder of the spiritual battle this country is in, so I felt I would post it here to encourage other Prayer Warriors here to keep on praying for President Trump and America.
Totally loving the fencing picture! My money is on you my diminuitive but formidable friend.
We have formidable women folk on these threads and it’s an honor to pray and walk among them.
❤️
Yes, I too believe we are in a spiritual battle with these “No Kings” type. I used to be surrounded by them but luckily I was able to relocate (with my family) out of southern CA. What a blessing it has been. I do encounter others in my new area who are drinking the Kool Aid and I just try to be as positive as I can be. I know some feel like it’s a good thing to engage to persuade them, but at my age I don’t always feel safe doing so. What I I CAN do is pray for them that the Holy Spirit will come upon them and open their eyes to what the country is going through through President Trump’s leadership and courage. Our country is like a huge ship that has gone off course and he and his team are doing everything to get us back on course. Their team need our constant prayer.
These older white has-been hippies don’t like losing but thankfully the eyes of the younger generation are opening. There is much HOPE!
Lastly, I love that you held up your hands in prayer. It is putting on the armor of God and they don’t know how to react. Love it!
Thank you very much for your kind prayer support, MTeresa, and my apologies that I did not see your post sooner! May God richly bless you.
Please pray for me as I continue to seek The Lord’s Will for my life. A second interview on Tuesday. God Is Being most merciful and I thank Him for much.
Wouldn’t it be interesting if this job turns out to be a better one than I left? Since leaving a week ago Wednesday… I’ve lost ten pounds. No changes to eating habits, just shed the toxic stress and a friend with medical experience says it’s due to my cortisol levels being affected in positive ways.
I feel better.
Savannah’s been communicating and seemed to have unblocked me… good discourse… but now she’s gone silent again as I shared pictures with her that she could save to her phone. I’m not sure if she’s triggered or if the guy predator she’s with found out and put a stop to it. I miss her.
Continue to pray for my girl, my precious daughter who I love to the moon and back. I am constantly thinking on the conditions she may be living in and was able to affirm that she knows a “code word” to use with me or Margaret our dear friend… should she find herself in deep trouble and need help. I still don’t know where she is but she acquired a small job at Burger King and I’m so proud of her for keeping herself employed in whatever small way she can. I pray for those with wisdom to come into her path and speak faith to her and for them to look out for her.
Having complete and wholehearted faith in The Lord is not for the weak. It requires standing in storms and constantly combating the schemes of the wicked who want you to fail.
The new guy I met is nice… Christian and a widower… however he is trying to move too quickly and it is alienating me and causing red flags to emerge. I am walking carefully and have strong boundaries.
I feel every move I make matters to my safety and to even Savannah’s safety “out there” and I’ll abide only under the wings and leading of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I will not deviate, nor will I question God’s Word against any human opinions. I commit myself fully to God’s Care.
I pray for the others on this thread that they too will cling tightly to Jesus and keep our eyes raised to Him. He Has His Eyes on us sparrows.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, Amen
Continuing prayers for you JWoo, and your daughter Savannah. That the Lord will lead and guide the two of you to where you are supposed to be according to His Holy Will, and that He will take care of you both through His Loving Providence. Praying for a successful interview for you that leads to a good job. Praying for Savannah’s safety and a safe and happy homecoming!
You and Savannah remain in my daily prayers, prayers for blessing:
Joel 2:23-25 “Be glad then, you children of Zion,
And rejoice in the Lord your God;
For He has given you the former rain faithfully,
And He will cause the rain to come down for you—
The former rain,
And the latter rain in the first month.
The threshing floors shall be full of wheat,
And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.
“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten”
May He also give you, like Job, future blessings that exceed past ones!
flora,
(((Hugs))) ❤️
I accept that awesome prayer! I will sing of His Love forever!
Posts like Alleycat’s below encourage me so!
JWoo, I will continue to pray that our most glorious God moves to protect Savanna and you in his arms, and send you love, mercy, understanding and peace. I will continue to pray you find the job where you will flourish and enjoy and find like-minded people to interact with. Thank you for keeping us updated. We love you and your family. That is the joy I receive when I come to the Treehouse.
Jwoorior! I did not know you left your job!
Must’ve missed that…
I will pray for your job interview, savannah’s safety and well-being, and for your new friend to check his pace ( 🙂 ).
Xoxo
A week ago Wednesday.. they were cuckoo for cocoa puffs and between them and what’s happening with Savannah… I reached a breaking point with the lying and gaslighting. No more. It was really affecting my health in rough ways. One Monday about a week prior… I called in sick and just laid in bed and cried most of the day. That is no life.
Thank you for the prayers, Slow… praying you and your hubs are doing well and feeling blessed. ❤️ you, Sis
Woo, how did interview go?
I’ll try to check back here, and daily thread.
Hope all went well! Was (am) thinking of you today!
Alleycats,
Jen neurologist 16th? How did it go? Checking on your precious girl. Praying mightily for you all.
Hello Luv. Thank you for thinking of us. Long weekend…
Jen went to her neurologist Thursday. He was astonished by the results of her MRI. The blood-mass in her cerebrum has shrunk drastically. The 3 lesions originally seen on her first scan are GONE. Intracranial pressure is normal, no signs of active inflammation within the blood vessels. There is zero trace of leaky vessels and zero dead brain tissue, although there is damage still actively healing.
He is tapering her off the powerful steroids, which she started on Saturday. It will take 10 weeks to taper down to 0 mg. Kitten made a calendar with daily reminder and dosage counting down to the end of its use. How interesting her last dose will be taken on Christmas Day.. 🙏 😇 🤗
Her adrenal glands are badly atrophied, but not destroyed. Common when using extremely high dose steroids, yet Dr. Smith is confident they will recover. He further said with continued therapy she should slowly regain her FULL cognitive functions. Upon hearing this my whole self exploded with joy and thanks to God, tears flowed all over.
The next day came the BUT…
Dr. Smith reiterated the word SHOULD, regarding Jen and her full cognitive functions. One residual effect of brain bleeding is, the brain can re-absorb blood over time but it cannot re-absorb the Iron in the blood. Those deposits have the potential of destroying the underlying brain tissue due to a chemical reaction I did not quite grasp. This MRI was a base measurement of that. Another one will be done in 6 weeks to track any change.
Overall , Dr. Smith is ecstatic with Jen’s progress and remains completely stumped by her case. Most people with a cerebral aneurysm don’t even survive the event, much less regain mobility and comprehension. I forcefully said, “I believe in miracles. God did this, thank HIM. He deserves all the glory!” I continue to pray and thank God for His mercy, that He will rid Jen’s brain of all traces of anything that can harm her. He brought her this far for a reason, and I will not lose faith. I told Jen the same thing, you MUST have faith.
Thank you Prayer Warriors for all you do. You are inspirational, especially to someone who doesn’t really have “a way with words”, just a lot of words. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ 🤗
That is MARVELous!!
He Moves mountains….
I’m in awe and so very grateful for His Mercy and Kindness.
These pages speak volumes to God’s Mercies and Miracles. I hope Ad Rem is compiling and forming a novel. What precious history of The Lord at work.
(((Hugs))) sweet friend.
That’s three squeezes! And a WooHooo!!!
Hugs received dear JWoo. I’m absolutely exhausted, yet joyful, if that makes sense.
You’ve been walking on the clouds with Jesus….and that never gets tiring. 🌤
Oh my. I read those words and got a chill. I never considered myself good enough to walk with Jesus, only behind Him. Thank you Puddy. 😭 I try, I really do…
Got it all saved in our posting history Woo….every post, every email. 🙏
Going to make some great history and recipe books someday… ❤️
This news thrills me. God is so good. I will continue to pray for Jen and your family. I am not much for words either, but try to show my joy and happiness for the miracles, healings and wonders our God performs every day, even the small steps we see.
Have a most blessed day.
Thank you. ❤️ Some days are really hard but I try not to let the darkness get in front of me.
NanaB suggested a good book for me to give Jen, about healing from bodily trauma.
The Biology of Trauma. ..how the body holds fear, pain, and overwhelm, and how to heal it written by Aimee Apigian, MD. It’s on Amazon and at bookstores. Maybe it can help you too? ❤️
Alleycats, I will look for that book. It sounds like it would help me too. Thank you.
Good morning Treepers It is now my turn to request prayers. In March 2024 I had a stroke and four weeks later fell and broke my right hip.
Since October of 2024 my mouth has been burning non-stop and on occasion, every tooth in my mouth hurts. Everything I eat has the texture like rubber. I eat only because I get hungry and I know I need to nourish this senior body. I have lost 25 lbs because of this condition. I usually eat like a horse but I now dread eating anything. I truy believe this is the residual effects of the stroke and trauma from the broken hip, as researching this mouth thing, stroke and trauma were mentioned as possible causes. Just pray that the Lord sees fit to give me back some of my taste so I may enjoy the bounty he provides for me. God made this body so I know he can fix my taste buds and
mouth issues.
Thank you for being there for me Treepers. May God’s peace fall upon each and every one of you.
Praying for you PattheNavyBrat, …
… That God the Divine Physician heal you completely and restore you to full good health, reversing any and all effects of the stroke, broken hip, and trauma. May the peace of Christ be with you to comfort you, refresh you, and bring you joy. Praying that any burning, pain, or unusual sensations in your mouth leave and not return, and that your normal taste be restored as good as new, so that you can enjoy your food and give thanks and glory to God in your eating and your drinking. Praying all this in Jesus’ name. Jesus, I trust in You! Amen
Thank you the phoenix. I appreciate all your prayers. I also appreciate your comments on all the other threads. Bless you.
Hi Pat,
Sweet one… I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been suffering with the food texture and tooth issues. I know everyone has ideas, but have you tried Sensodyne? It is such a minor expense but can have tangible, quick impact on gum line concerns that can lead to sensitivity like your experiencing. Worth a try for sure.
I will absolutely pray for your sensation to restore so that food can be enjoyable again. In the meantime, please try pureeing some high protein smoothies, including whole fat Greek Yoghurt, peanut butter, bananas, and fruit juice etc.. to keep your calories up and not lose so much weight.
You can even use one of those ninja blenders and puree chicken or beef and veggies into an excellent bisque… so you don’t feel like you’re starving… at least until things start tasting good again. Or even a couple eggs blended into cream of wheat and cheese for a savory breakfast. Butternut squash slow roasted and pureed with coconut milk and curry powder and cinnamon.
Come here… let me take care of you!!! These are all things I did for my daughter when she had oral surgery and she LOVED the bisque enough to want it when she’s healthy.
You need to eat and you’ll find it can help your mood too… which may inspire you to eat more frequently.
Please take good care of yourself and I wish you were closer. Try the toothpaste and see if it doesn’t lend relief.
Blessings on you, sweet one… and I’ll be praying for you.
Those are all wonderful ideas, JWoo. Bless you.
Thank you JWoo for all those great suggestions. Using most toothpastes just enhance the burning. I have found one toothpaste invented by a female dentist with coconut oil as it’s main ingredient and that is the only one my mouth will tolerate without increasing the burning.
I do eat alot of greek yogurt with fruits pureed but I will try peanut butter or other nut butters too and make purees and bisques. I eat alot of nutritious soups with various meats and vegetables and one of my favorites is lentils with vegetables that I puree. I will try the breakfast suggestions which sound delicious. Squashes and sweet potatoes are a favorite of mine.
I do eat, just not like I used to, and have begun to eat more frequent, smaller meals. I have a fast metabolism, so my food digests quickly, so I don’t have a chance to gain weight. I am sure there are other Treepers out there that wish for my metabolism. At least I have noticed I have stopped dropping weight and just remain at the same weight.
Thank you JWoo for some very good suggestions. You are a gem and I enjoy your comments on all the threads. I will continue to pray for you and Savanna. You and all the Treepers are on my permanent prayer list. Bless you and I am sending hugs and love.
Coconut oil is excellent for anti-inflammatory.
That burning sensation worries me, Sis. Maybe an Orajel for an analgesic effect and then the Sensodyne? Are your gums receding or bleeding? Seems the nerves may be over stimulated.
My hope is for the healing nature of the Sensodyne product on your gums to maybe reverse any damages.
Wish I could take you to my dentist or functional health practitioner who follows America’s Frontline Doctors protocol.
I wonder how your pH is doing and if acid reflux is entering into your mouth and causing issues? OTC Prilosec for that… which helped me regain my voice after 4 months of no voice after COVID treatments eroded my esophagus. What a mess I’ve been.
So many weird things learned from medical tribulations.
Will pray for God’s Wisdom for you and that it be a simple little change to bring you comfort and healing quickly.
Good morning JWoo. I think the burning is a type of neuropathy from the stroke. God took care of me and I did not have any lasting effects from the stroke and walked out of therapy five days later.
My gums aren’t bleeding and there is a little receeding (I am 75 and that comes with age I think). I have a good dentist here and they will suggest alternatives and they don’t push pills, and if I try alternatives and they work, they ask for the remedies to suggest to their other patients. They tout good nutrition and supplements.
I don’t have acid reflux and I am keeping my ph alkaline. I’ve got allergies and I am always getting a froggy voice. Here in Texas the Cedar/ Juniper pollen is starting up, so I will be froggy for the next two months. I take a homeopathic allergy tablet specifically designed for Texas allergies, and it works great.
I so appreciate your suggestions and enjoyed a bowl of oatmeal with applesauce, pecans, maple syrup, milk and cinnamon for breakfast.
I’ve got a pot of split pea soup with veggies cooking in the crock pot I will have, along with some homemade herb bread for dinner.
Hugs to you and much love coming your way. Thank you for caring. You are geatly appreciated far more than you will ever know.
I am appreciating the discussion on mouth/teeth/gums/food prep. Our physical needs are so varied! As people who live by faith and ask our Father to help us with everyday needs as well as eternal….we do experience His provision again and again in so many ways. Sometimes His provision is a clear solution, and sometimes His provision is finding ways to adapt and manage.
I do have acid reflux and have good assistance from my dentist. One of my three daily brushings includes baking soda application to help with ph issues.
W/re to gums, I use an Rx from Colgate (prescribed by dentist) called PerioGard. I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone who might need it: it made a visible change in gum issues within days of the first use: once daily/one week a month. I’ve used it for 3-4 years now.
The business of oatmeal: During cold months I always prepare oatmeal with chopped up apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, etc. Tasty and good for the system! I’m enjoying your other suggestins as well!
I experience quite a bit of mouth pain, various kinds, that is not a result of “dental problems”. I appreciate your reference to the possible connections to neuropathy. I have had significant neuropathy with both feet and hands since heavy chemo in 2016-17 and it hadn’t occurred to me to wonder if some of the mouth pain might be related to what. I see my dentist twice a year regardless of anything else so that he keeps a close eye on things. He has explained to me also that with all the tendons and ligaments in the face/around the mouth, that may be the source of pain when there is obviously nothing amiss with a tooth. In fact, I often “have a toothache” in an area where there is no tooth. I have little tubes of the Oragel kind of product on hand always and use that as needed.
We are indeed fearfully and wonderfully made, which is very noticeable when something goes wrong, and I don’t say that lightly.
We will be thrilled with our new bodies. I’m grateful that our heavenly Father included that as part of being redeemed. We will perhaps “go walking and leaping and praising God” in those new bodies in a way that will cause the angels to stop and watch for awhile. What a day that will be.
What a beautiful post, Sharon. I love how we can share thoughts and ideas – and sometimes trials and triumphs – so that we give each other ideas for coping or equipping.
You are quoting from Psalm 139 – which is my family verse with my daughter, Savannah. It is one of my favorites. God Loves us so much. I, too, am glad with the promise of our new bodies – and we will even have new names – one that only God and we will know. Such intimacy.
Several friends at church had acid reflux and first thing every morning they drink 8 ounces of chicken bone broth. It has to be “bone” broth and they do not suffer from acid reflux when they drink this every morning. “ZOUP” is a very good chicken bone broth and not terribly costly. You may want to try this. I will pray for you to get some relief from your neuropathy and other health issues. You are now on my permananet prayer list.
Praying for blessings for you.
Praying for you to have relief from your mouth pain and to be able to eat again. Lord, please bless Pat with healing from the remnants of her stroke and fall. Allow her to once again taste the beauty of Your bounty and be nourished by it. Amen.
Thank you Alleycats. I will also continue to pray for Jen and your family. She has come along way from what I have read. God has plans for her, I’ve no doubt.
I enjoy your comments on all the threads and appreciate your prayers. Bless you.
❤️🙏🤗
Amen Sepp
I’ve been thinking about Miss.Della.B for the past couple of days. I pray she is doing well and came through her medical journey ok. May God bless and protect her. 🙏❤️
Praying for Della and her family, as well. She has given much in way of testimony and intercessary prayers to these boards. Sending love to her and may God give them a hedge of protection. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Dear friends, please pray for my mom who is having some very serious physical issues right now. I also am dealing with a physical ailment at the moment & could use your intercessions. I’m not able to elaborate further right now, it’s why I haven’t been around much lately, but know that I have read & prayed for all the requests here daily. May the Lord bless & keep you all.
Father God,
Thank You for giving us another blessed morning to rise and sing Your praises. You send us the most beautiful souls to intercede and bind what is bound and loose what is loosed here on earth as it is in Heaven.
One such beautiful soul is our Joe. Father God there are so few who are as steadfast as he is and who give so much of themselves to tend to Your flock. He is faithful, God, and I ask that You send Your angels of mercy to tend to he and his precious Mom.
Often, it is those who tend the most who have the least physical support… but You God Are Jehovah Rapha… The Lord Who Heals… and we humbly ask for that Divine Healing for Joe and his mother. Bring them great comfort, supernatural joy, and full restoration. May those they meet on this journey of treatment and medical answers be ever so blessed by their steadfast faith and may their ears be open to the testimonies of they who serve You so well… so that even more may know the majesty and wonder of The Kingdom of Heaven.
Bring the sinners inside, Father, bring them inside. I can see Joe and his mother, fishing, fishing, fishing for Your children… and bringing them inside.
Bless them, Father, as they obediently “go” and may they sing Your Praises forever.
Infirmary, what infirmary? the devil has no sting for Jesus overcame and we are the elected to His Promises. Eternally.
We pray them comfort and send our love, in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
I love you, Joe. Give you mom gentle hugs for me. I imagine she is so proud of the fine son she raised.
Amen JWoo.
That was beautiful. Thank you so much, Joan. I love you, too.
Prayers for God’s warrior. Joe Blow, I pray for relief and healing for you and your mother in Jesus’ Holy Name. JWoo stated it so eloquently, I haven’t a thing to add. Be well, and be blessed my friend.
Thank you, Alley. God love you so much.
Joe….. Praying that you and your mother find comfort and healing from our Father. You, who have given so much of yourself to help others on this prayer thread, may you know how much your are loved and respected by us all.
Thank you, Ad rem. This place has been such a comfort over the years, it’s been a blessing to be a part of it in any small way. God bless you.
Dear Joe Blow,
I have continued to pray for your mother and your aunt and you too over the last few years. You prayed so hard for my sister and her son for such a long time. It truly gave us comfort…you seemed to be available at all hours to answer and give me comfort and solace and some peace.
You are treasured here and we all will continue prayers and now focusing too on your own ailments.
Many blessings dear unknown but cherished friend.
Thank you so much for this, Nana. It means so very much to me knowing that I was blessed to have any part in giving you & your sister comfort during that time. Praying for you now also. God bless you.
Dear Lord Heavenly Father, I pray that you will heal Joe and his Mother and give both of them a speedy and full recovery. It is in Jesus name I pray. Amen!
Thank you so much, Mr. M. God bless.
Praying for good health and healing for both you and your mom!
Thank you, Phoenix. The Lord bless you.
I’m herein, on behalf of my mother and mine, submitting a prayer request for my sister Marie Farah Laroche, a request I hope one might take under consideration.
She has been experiencing bouts of anxiety, panic, and I think some depression too, related to her current situation in the workplace.
I’ve been praying asking for the reabilitation of her self-esteem, self-confidence and of the wholeness of her soul from any fragmentation , according God’s Will for her.
I hope this request is not an inappropriate imposition.
Thank you all kindly for your consideration.
LGL
Not an inappropriate imposition at all… and one we would all do well to heed and pray over.. for we all need reminders of Who God Is and who He Says we are to Him!
2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Phillipines 4:7
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 26:3
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts You.
1 Peter 4:12-14
Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His Glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of The Name of Christ, you are blessed, for The Spirit of Glory and of God rests on you.
We remember, too, that Christ suffered and to suffer with Him because of our faith is an honor. We are God’s precious children and none of this trial or abuse or tears escapes Him. He counts every hair on our heads and provides for every sparrow.
Read with your precious sister these words and Psalm 139 and remind her as often as she needs to hear… that our God Walks with us. He Will never leave us or forsake us… not ever… not even once. Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5
Tell her to “Commit her ways to The Lord and He Will Make her path straight.” Proverbs 3:5-7
Father God,
I pray that Marie’s eyes will be lifted to you. Should she avert her gaze during trials.. remind her… lift, lift, lift. Eyes up. Shoulders back. Stand up straight. She is your heir to Your Kingdom saved by the stripes Christ already wore on the cross for her! His work for her is done… He’s saved her soul and she is Yours!!!! I claim that wisdom for Marie and ask her family to share it among themselves, and with others, to give great confidence and surety of foot to walk in the ways You Have for them.
May she smile broadly and cast out wickedness for she knows her Path to Heaven is sure!
Let us rejoice when we go through trials of various kinds for Christ first walked through them.
Father, thank You for the opportunity to pray in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name for Your people and may these words bless all those who need to hear them. Even me.
Praise to Your Holy Name, AMEN
This beautiful place is open 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. All comers are welcome, LGL. ❤️
Praying for your sister to find inner peace and an answer to her workplace troubles. Praying for you and your mother to both have wisdom for your sister, peace and understanding to know God will hear all prayers.
Please come here as often as you need. No prayer is too small to matter.
Amen!
Hi NanaB! 🥰 I hope you are feeling well.
Hi Alleycats. I’m doing ok. My new normal…I am adjusting! I hope you are doing well too.
Thank you for your
well wishes. You are very kind.
Sure hope Miss Della surfaces soon.
Continued prayers for all on this branch of the treehouse. Blessings everyone!
Agreeing with you in prayer for your sister. May the Lord sustain, comfort, & shepherd her through this trial. May He lift her up above the shadows & plant her feet on higher ground. God bless you, LGL.
Amen
(Jesus)
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11
Dear Lord God, Thank You for the tender mercies offered to us.
You are righteous and good … You are Love.
Please help Marie in her stressful trials.
Turn her heart and mind to You …
May she look to You alone for deliverance.
Help Marie to surrender all to You – all that she has, and all that she is.
Teach her what she needs to know, and give her what she needs to have.
Remove her burdens, and give her Your peace.
Fill Marie’s soul with Your Living Hope, Lord … and make her paths straight.
Lord, Grant Marie assurance that You are with her and will never leave.
May she understand and know that You are her Gentle Shepherd.
Lead her to green pastures and beside still waters.
May Your rod and staff comfort her, and protect from her enemies.
May Your mercy and goodness follow Marie all the days of her life.
We ask this for Your glory, Lord, and in the Name of Jesus.
Amen.
Praying for all of our families and the return of our prodigals from the hands of satan

Please pray for my son Caleb. He has been in a medical induced coma for 8 days because of severe pneumonia. . Every time they try and back off the sedation, he is ok for awhile but then has problems. 2 days ago his temp went to 109. They put an ice bag on him and finally got his temp to normal. Today when they backed off his sedation he began having seizures. They have ordered another CT scan and EEG. They have ordered dialysis too because his kidneys are not working. His mom is there in DC with him so he is not all alone. It doesn’t look good for him. Thanks
Praying hard for Caleb!
Praying for your son Caleb. Praying for you and his mom to stay strong and that God will give you peace beyond all understanding.
God bless you all.
Praying that the God of miracles might work for your son Caleb & heal him of these maladies. Also that He would give wisdom to the doctors in treating him. God bless, booger.
Thanks for the prayers, he had a better night last night. Got his blood pressure up so they can do dialysis today, and his temp remained normal all night
Thanks be to God! Continuing prayers for Caleb’s healing!
Dear Lord, our Jehovah Rapha, You are the God Who heals.
We thank You for Your compassion and mercies which are new every morning.
Great is Your faithfulness, O God.
Caleb, Booger’s son, needs You, Lord.
Please rescue him from all harm – physical and spiritual.
Give the medical team excellent skills and judgment for the proper care.
Restore Caleb to wellness, dear Lord, according to Your perfect and righteous will.
May You receive honor and glory, O God, for all that You do for Caleb.
There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved, but the name of Jesus.
In Jesus’s name, and for Christ’s sake, we humbly ask Your help.
Please save Caleb from this terrible affliction and suffering.
Amen.
Praying fervently for your son Caleb. I saw below that he has shown some improvement. Thank You, God for your tender mercies. Lord, please give peace, understanding and rest to booger 71. Please work You incredible power through the doctors and nurses caring for Caleb. Give his body rest and perfect healing.
Sending prayers to our merciful and glorious God to intercede on your son’s behalf. You and your family are on my permenent prayer list and I will continue to pray for your son Caleb to feel the Lord’s touch and healing mercies. Amen
booger 71,
How is your son, Caleb? Father God – You walk before us in all things. All things work for the good of those who love You and who are called according to Your Purpose. (Rom 8:28) Father, there are times we walk through fire to look to see that You Are there with us. Gentle and merciful Father, we lift Caleb and ask for Your Gentle Care. Heal him, Father, and indwell in the souls of the medical practitioners to find what is ailing him and be Your Hands and Feet to save his life. We humbly ask in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, break all bonds on this man and deliver him safely, Father, AMEN
Thanks everyone for your prayers. After 2 MRI’s, 2 different neurologists advised us that he has severe brain damage from the high temperature. (which is what I was afraid of). His mom and me decided that since he has stated to several people that he would not want to be kept on life support, that the doctor has agreed to turn up the sedation tomorrow, and remove him from the ventilator so he can begin his next journey. He was a fine son and more than that he was a fine person. He will be missed.
💔
💞
✝️
I am so sorry, booger. I pray for the comfort of the Lord to be upon you. God keep you & uphold you.
Saw this back when it was first posted, made sure to pray, and thought I had already posted … in any case, you and your son and your whole family continues to be in my prayers.
Oh I am so sorry to hear this. I will be praying for You and your family as your son begins his new journey.
Precious Father, please hold booger and family in your arms and give them “the peace that passes understanding” as they commit their son Caleb to your will. Wrap your loving arms around them and give them courage and knowledge of your almighty power and let them feel your love for them at this most difficult time. In Jesus precious name, I ask, Amen.
I woke up to a my mother having a medical emergency – not sure what is happening yet. Asking for any prayers. Thank you as always.
Praying that your mother fully recovers. Jesus, I trust in You!
I’m praying for you & your mom, Kitty. I know you’ve posted about her before, so I pray the Lord will lead her through whatever this is as well. God bless.
Praying for you and your mother, Kitty Trump. May He guide the doctors to wisdom in their treatment plan and that she is healed. Praise God.
Blessings on your precious Mother that our Lord would stabilize her and deliver her from her ailments. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Please pray for a 36 year old father of two killed in an auto accident Tuesday, Oct. 21. His name is Garret Fred. He was the oldest son 36, of a neighbor.
Thank you!
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and let Your perpetual light shine upon him.
May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed
through the mercy of God
rest in peace.
Amen.
Praying for Garret, and his children. Praying for your neighbor who lost a son. Lord, we ask you to hold tight to this family, ease the crushing pain of children losing a father, and parents losing a son.
May Garret’s memory be eternal, Father, and may his children not lose the memory of his loving Spirit. We ask You to bring forth comfort and provision for his family, keep them safe and heal their burdens, and may they strive to live holy lives so that all will be reunited in our Eternity which is Your Heaven, Your Promise. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN
Amen, Sepp
Hello dear friends and fellow pilgrims,
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted, but have been praying for all requests.
You all are dear to my heart …
I sincerely appreciate the kind words and prayers here on my behalf.
May our dear Lord bless each of you!
When my youngest grandson recently went thru his health crisis (September), it shook me to the core.
Seeing a photo of him in ICU, with the claws of death clamped down on his helpless body, took a lot out of me.
Also, my hubs and I have been dealing with various health issues, and our adult daughter has been in a distressing situation.
But we’re all doing better. Thanks be to God!
We have seen Him at work … healing, comforting, guiding, restoring.
Often I have to turn off the “noise” and be quiet – just me and the Lord.
He then gives strength, peace, courage, wisdom, faith, and everything I need, to go on.
I’m getting my bearings back – and hope to join you all in intercessory prayers.
And, I think of Leave – and pray for him.
✝️ 🙏🏻
Shakespeare wrote the truth, dearest Della…
“When sorrows [troubles] come, they come not single spies but in battalions.”
I’m sure you have been feeling the reality of this, and I am so sorry. For ourselves at our ages we expect it I think. And that is hard enough to have to cope with. But not for our children, or worse, our grands and great grands. It is unexplainably quite awe inspiring, as you say and as we ourselves have been saying also, to watch our Father so full of lovingkindness and mercies work. What a gift to be able to discern His presence, especially in the midst of worries for our families or ill health which we ourselves are helpless to make better. To know beyond all doubt that God is there and for Him to show us that He is, even as difficult as it may be sometimes to put one foot in front of another.
As someone else said so beautifully, and when we know this, we wait differently….with patience, knowing that He truly is doing things better for us than we could ever hope or pray for.
I am relieved to read that you and your husband are emerging from your health problems. I am so glad your precious grandson has recovered from his. And I pray your daughter is finding her life brighter by the day. They may be adults, but our offspring never stop being our children.
Blessings always, dear friend, to you and to all those whom you love 🙏🏻💕
” ..They may be adults, but our offspring never stop being our children.” Oh how well I know that sentiment, dear Betsy. 🙏❤️
Thank you, Betsy, for such a kind, thoughtful comment.
Over the years, my husband and I have been blessed with a reasonable measure of good health.
We fully understand that aging brings a decline in that, so we try hard to stay positive instead of complaining.
Hubs keeps reminding me, tho – “it’s not going to get any better, but worse.”
He’s a realist – and usually right (most of the time, haha).
Yes, our children/grandchildren can bring much joy, and sometimes sadness. Oh, the price we pay for love …
I remember a time when my grandmother had surgery and I spent the night with her at hospital.
Grandma was in such pain, not only from the surgical procedure – but her heart was hurting.
She was so worried about her daughter (going through a rough season) and said to me: I don’t know what’s going to happen to your mother.
Grandma was 96 y/o, my Mamma was 75 y/o.
It was then I realized that mothers will always be concerned about their children.
Even to the grave.
Betsy, I pray you and your family will be blessed, too.
There’s no greater joy than for parents/grandparents to see their families walking in the favor of the Lord.
🥰 🙏🏻
It’s so good to see you here again, Miss Della. Continuing to pray for you & yours. God love you so much.
Dear Joe, Thank you for your kindness and prayer – even while you’re burdened with your own troubles.
I’ve been praying for your dear mother – and for you.
I understand the nature of revealing too much on this forum, but, thank the Lord, He knows.
God hears our prayers and answers – in the best way and timing.
May He strengthen and heal you both in the days ahead, Joe.
May God encourage your hearts and grant you His peace.
I pray that He will show Himself strong on your behalf.
For His glory, and for Christ’s sake, in the name of Jesus our Savior.
Amen.
Thank you, Miss Della. I am having to take things one day at a time right now. There was some small improvement today, so I am grateful to the Lord for that. Thank you & everyone so much for your prayers.
God bless you Miss.Della.B
Your post is exactly what I needed to hear this morning. Quiet time with our Lord is exactly what I need. I too am grateful for this site and often think of the people here who are dealing with all kinds of challenging situations. It’s comforting to know when people are joining in with intercessory prayers for one another. I pray for you, your husband and your precious youngest grandson that the Lord will continue to give your strength to go on. We have a mighty God!
Thank you, MTeresa, for your comment … Our Lord knows how and when to minister to each one of us – using ordinary people (like us). That is amazing!
I really appreciate your prayer for my family … it is a gift from God.
Yes, we do have a Mighty, Majestic God – We cannot even fathom His greatness!
I’m leaving an encouraging Scripture – the Lord tells us that if we will be quiet and trust in Him, strength will be granted.
That’s what I need – I am willing!
Blessings to you, MT.
“For this is what the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said: “In repentance and rest you will be saved,
In quietness and trust is your strength.” But you were not willing,”
Isaiah 30:15
So good to see you again, Miss Della. I missed you. Thanks to God for your grandson’s healing. I thank Him for intervening with your daughter as well as you and your hubby. I’ve also been thinking of Leavemygunsalone lately. Praying for everyone in this magnificent Treehouse. It’s been a rough end to summer so far, but my faith will not waver. God is working for us all to find each other and remind each other of His love and great mercy.
Thank you, dear Alley, for your kind words.
I thank God every day for all He has done, is doing, and will do.
Years ago, I heard a good message which remained in my heart: The devil HATES it when we are thankful.
That’s how it all began with sin entering the world – our adversary, satan, convinced Eve to be ungrateful and dissatisfied with what God had given.
I despise the devil more than he hates me – so, I try to remember my blessings, no matter how small they may seem.
It has been a hard season for many, and I believe that God uses our trials to transform us to the likeness of Christ.
I’m sure there will be more afflictions to come but hopefully we are growing inwardly, day by day.
Yes, the people of God must encourage each other – if we don’t, who will??
I’m still looking for them (haha).
I pray Jen and your family are growing in grace every day …
May the Lord continue to show favor on you all.
Blessings, Alley.
Last week I discovered this hymn written by Mary G. Brainerd in 1869.
The lyrics of truth give comfort and encouragement.
I hope it will minister to you as well.

I Know Not What Awaits Me
I know not what awaits me,
God kindly veils my eyes,
And o’er each step of my onward way
He makes new scenes to rise;
And every joy He sends me comes
A sweet and glad surprise.
Where He may lead I’ll follow,
My trust in Him repose;
Chorus
And every hour in perfect peace,
I’ll sing, “He knows, He knows”;
And every hour in perfect peace,
I’ll sing, “He knows, He knows.”
2
One step I see before me,
’Tis all I need to see,
The light of heaven more brightly shines
When earth’s illusions flee;
And sweetly through the silence comes,
His loving, “Trust in Me!”
Chorus
3
Oh, blissful lack of wisdom,
’Tis blessed not to know;
He holds me with His own right hand,
And will not let me go,
And lulls my troubled soul to rest
In Him who loves me so.
Chorus
4
So on I go not knowing;
I would not if I might;
I’d rather walk in the dark with God
Than go alone in the light;
I’d rather walk by faith with Him
Than go alone by sight.
Chorus
“One step I see before me,
’Tis all I need to see,
The light of heaven more brightly shines
When earth’s illusions flee;
And sweetly through the silence comes,
His loving, “Trust in Me!”
Hallelujah, Della – so beautiful and so good to see you. Praying for you and yours, dear sister. May God’s Mercies overcome you all.
A prayer request from Aggiegirl,
Treeper friends, Aggiegirl is requesting that we all join in prayer for her 94 year old Aunt Joan. She has lost some mobility due to muscle weakness from not eating or drinking. She has been sent home on hospice to encourage her to eat and drink, so that she can hopefully get into some physical therapy and regain some strength. She is very fatigued. Most importantly, and the thing weighing heaviest on the family’s hearts, is that despite being raised in an Irish Catholic family – she has become agnostic and doesn’t believe in Eternity. Please pray that Aggiegirl and her cousins can speak Light and Life into Aunt Joan, so that she will acknowledge Christ as her Savior while there is still time.
We pray for Joan’s salvation and the binding of their family in Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, AMEN.
Father God,
In Psalm 139, it is written starting in verse 7 through 12:
“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your Presence? If I go up to the Heavens, You Are there; if I make my bed in the depths, You Are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your Hand Will guide me, Your Right Hand will hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day for darkness is as light to You.”
There are many we know and love… who know You by Name, Father God. Many who have abandoned their faith due to strife, deceit, the schemes of the wicked, or even hopelessness or broken heartedness, shame or ego… that which causes one to question “Is there a God? Why has He forsaken me? Why does His Face no longer shine on me and fill me with hope?” They wander into darkness and are filled with doubt and questions. They see not the faith and resolve of their loved ones or trusted friends who commit them to Your Divine Care.
In Acts 9:18, Saul who became Paul, encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus “And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized”. The sudden restoration of sight and full knowledge of Who Christ Is to him… and to all of us… the removal of Spiritual blindness and beginning of new life in faith.
Father, we humbly come before You in Your Throne Room, where You Are High and Exalted… and face down we plead for those we love, for those we know, and for those who persecute us… and we ask You to indwell in them Your Holy Spirit, so that the scales will fall from their eyes and they will see You and Your Son for Who You Are – triune God – Three-In-One – Father, Son, and Holy Ghost Who Are the Alpha and Omega of life. Pursue them, Father, and help them to see Your Gift of Eternal Life through Your Son, Jesus Christ. In Whom and through Whom all things began. (John 1:1-2) Father, that none should perish, but have Eternal Life (John 3:16)
We ask for our speech to be effective, loving, and pursuing – that we will hold nothing back for time is fading away – and that we realize that it is greater for us to love The Lord and offend the wayward; then to walk on eggshells and lose their souls. Give us the reckless love and courage to offend and offend. For when Truth is revealed – ’tis no offense at all – yea, ’tis indeed the greatest and deepest love that pursues. Father, open their hearts to our words, to Your Word, and bring them Light Everlasting.
We ask You for their souls and for You to claim them as Your own and to never leave their side. Give us courage. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, I pray, AMEN AMEN AMEN
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Amen.
Duck duck etc seems fixed-am back for now. My aunt got out of bed and walked to the dining table! And ate real food!
Glory be to the Father
and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit
as it was in the beginning
is now
and ever shall be,
world without end,
Amen!

Encouragement
Thank you, Sepp! God bless you and yours!
Oh my! What a blessing and an answer to prayer! I did not realize this prayer chain post was here. I just happened to stumble onto it by ending up at the bottom of the page.
I have been longing for prayer warrior buddies. While I don’t regularly attend a church, I love my Lord and Savior dearly and KNOW the power of prayer.
Thank you, Sundance and Ad Rem for providing this. And thank you to the dedicated prayer warriors that are here.
I just spent the last hour or so reading through the requests and prayers on this page. Lifted all in prayer as I did so.
It’s wonderful to have you, Suburbanwoman. May God bless you so very much.
Thank you, Joe!
Welcome aboard, Suburbanwoman! Always good to meet another Prayer Warrior! 🙂
Thank you, Phoenix!
Blessed morning, Suburbanwoman, and welcome to this very special place. Glad to have you here with us. ❤️
Thank you and a blessed morning to you, too, JWoo!
Welcome Suburbanwoman. It is always a pleasure to welcome another prayer warrior to this wonderful treehouse.
I pray you have a most blessed and wonderful day.
Thank you, PattheNavyBrat!
SOOOOOO glad you found us Suburbanwoman!
You will NOT find a more loving and devoted group of prayers warriors than in our Treehouse. Knowing that you have found us calls for rejoicing!
Thank you, Ad Rem! I am SOOOOO glad I did, too!
Am praying for all Treepers-for needs, hopes, and miracles—may God hear and answer the prayers!
Thank you so much for the prayers! I definitely have more than one intention that could really use it. Praying for you too Aggiegirl, and all here.
Would be grateful for any prayers for my mother and sister:
My mother went to the emergency room yesterday with back pain. They sent her home, saying it looks like she fractured another vertebrae on top of other fractures that have accumulated over the years she had spent caring for my dad who had a stroke. She is still in pain, they’re saying they will prescribe medication and steroids and advise that she have an aide come in for a couple of hours a day. Her granddaughter fortunately bought groceries for her today since she was in absolutely no shape to do it herself. Please pray for healing, that my mom will be freed from back pain, and that the Lord will provide for her needs through the kindness of family and others. I live out of state, fortunately she has family members that still live close.
My sister, the one who took mom to and from the hospital, is currently sick with a cold or flu … and needs to travel out of state for a job interview on Monday. So instead of getting to rest and recover for the trip and potentially life-changing interview, she’s gone without sleep running around to help mom. Please pray that she recovers over the weekend, that her journey is safe, and that her interview be successful. Hopefully she will get the job, which is remote and work from home.
Since my family and I are all Catholic Christians, prayers in the name of Jesus, prayers from the Psalms or other Bible verses, the Our Father, Hail Mary, and other Catholic prayers are most welcome and appreciated.
Heavenly Father, I come before you with a heart full of faith. Your Word declares that by the stripes of Jesus, Phoenix’s mother and sister are healed. I believe this truth and receive it now for them. I ask for your healing power to flow through every part of their bodies, restoring them to perfect health.
I pray for safe travels for his sister and, if it be thy will, her interview is successful and she gets the job. If this job is not your will, please ease her heart and mind as you point her in the direction of the right job for her and lead her there.
I also ask that you empower the family to be able to work together to meet the needs of their mother.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Amen, and thank you for the kindness of your prayer, Suburbanwoman!
One thing I should point out is that I’m female. 🙂
And you’ve just reminded me that I was less clear than I wanted to be … when I mention “the kindness of others,” I’m remembering how mom has reacted to the mere suggestion of even allowing a nurse’s aide, or any type of caretaker that’s not family, into her home. It was suggested in the past that she get some help while taking care of dad, whether family members or not, and she insisted on doing things herself … which was hard on her health and perhaps contributed to her back injuries in the first place. So hopefully mom will gracefully accept the help and not try to overdo things.
Thanks again, your prayer is super appreciated! And my sister really wanted me to post this prayer too, … especially for our mom rather than for herself … so I’ll have to let her know too of the kindness shown here.
Oh my goodness! I’m so sorry! I really didn’t give much thought to whether you are male or female…I just said what came to mind. 😁
I can certainly understand your Mom’s concern about who is allowed in her home. I’m VERY careful about that, too. I won’t even answer the door if it’s not somebody I know or am expecting.
We have a cleaning lady that comes every couple of weeks, but I’ve known her since 2011. I hired her Mother’s cleaning service at that time to clean my business. Great people that I trust.
Prayers that your Mom is blessed with honest, pure hearted people to help her.
Praying for your mom to be touched by the Lord & her back pain lifted from her, as well as for your sister to have a successful interview for her job. God bless, Phoenix.
Thank you very much for your kind prayers, Joe Blow! 🙂
God morning, Phoenix,
Heavenly Father, we lift our sister’s Mother, Sister, and family to You and ask for Your Divine Assistaance and care. Father, You can make an hour last a day, and a day last an hour – time is of no consequence to You. I ask such Divine blessing on this family that despite rest looking short on a clock… that You would make their resting hours impactful so as they feel fully rested, refreshed, and invigorated.
Father, I pray You indwell in them knowledge for the proper care of their mother’s pain and injuries, and may she accept the generosity of helpers to aide in her husband’s care. We are not an island, Father, and sometimes we need that help from strangers. Not just to accomplish what needs doing… but also as a reminder of the blessing that comes when strangers heed Your Word to become Your Hands and Feet here on earth, and how such gestures bless us beyond measure because it speaks to the good still left in this fallen world.
Shower this family with generosity and Provision and guide their minds and souls in the days ahead. Let no weapon formed against them prosper.
We, too, pray for favor in the perfect job for their sister… one in which she can grow and flourish and speak the Goodness of Your Name.
Father, we thank You for every blessing, every answered prayer, and every Way in which You Show Up to us again and again.
You Are Marvelous, Wondrous, and so blessedly Surprising.
Thank You for Your Everlasting Hope and Promises that You Will never leave us or forsake us.
In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, we pray, AMEN
PS… daylight savings time this weekend lends an extra hour of sleep… Spring forward, Fall back.
Amen and thank you very much for your prayers, JWoo!
Now it looks like I should have been even more clear in my original post … I had mentioned that my mom had spent years caring for my dad … yes, and actually, he died back in 2010 … meanwhile, mom had not accepted help from anyone while being a caretaker, and so had already been suffering from older injuries over the years.
Processing this stuff can sometimes take awhile, so I will also add now to the info I’ve already posted that the way my sister described it, they really should have kept mom in the hospital rather than sent her home in her condition. Mom is making the best of it, since there are both pros and cons to being in the hospital.
In any case, the prayers of you and everyone here are heartening, most welcome and appreciated, and I believe help make up for and overcome the lack of caring shown by some of the medical providers these days.
And yes, that extra hour of sleep comes at a good time!
Heavenly Father, please ease Phoenix’s mothers pain. Give her the strength she needs to get through this pain and provide her with the help she needs from family and friends.
Please help her sister get safely through her illness and provide travel mercies for her job interview. If it is your will, provide her with the job she seeks and if not put her on the path to a job that will provide her with what she needs.
I am asking all this in Jesus precious, holy name, Amen.
Thank you very much for the kindness of your prayers, PattheNavyBrat! God bless you!
Thank God I found you all the other day. I have a prayer request for my granddaughter.
She just called me and told me she totaled her car. Thank God she is ok. Her car was hit on the passenger side when she misjudged how close a car was and pulled out too soon to make a turn. She just got her car back after having to have some work done on the radiator and some other issues.
My heart breaks for her because she’s a very hardworking 19 year old and a good kid. She and her brother, my grandson, just moved out of their Dad’s home into their own apartment together this summer.
She’s very involved with her church and loves her church family.
When she called me she was so down because she’s getting really tired from the battles. She said she has been fasting recently and understands the spiritual battle she’s in right now. We prayed together.
Please lift her up and pray for the Lord to give her strength and wisdom to be victorious in these trials and tribulations she’s experiencing.
As I said before I KNOW the power of prayer so I am praying fervently for her. It’s the BEST thing I can do for her. She lives on the other side of the state from me so I can’t even quickly go be with her to hold her and comfort her. That’s the hardest thing for me right now. Mamaw wants to comfort her, fix it and make everything all better for her.
I’m so sorry for your dear grand, Suburbanwoman. She sounds like a wonderful young lady. For whatever reason, when I read this the Lord dropped Exodus 19:4 in my heart: “I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.” I pray He would strengthen, comfort, & restore her in the midst of her trials. God’s blessings to you all.
Thank you so much, Joe. I will pass along the scripture to her and let her know the Lord laid it on your heart. ❤️
Praying with you for your granddaughter, with Scripture Readings and Psalms for the Day from the Universalis website:
Scripture Reading — Ephesians 1:17-18
“May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give you a spirit of wisdom and perception of what is revealed, to bring you to full knowledge of him. May he enlighten the eyes of your mind so that you can see what hope his call holds for you, what rich glories he has promised the saints will inherit.”
Part of Psalm 16
“You, Lord, are my inheritance and my cup.
You control my destiny,
the lot marked out for me is of the best,
my inheritance is all I could ask for.
I will bless the Lord who gave me understanding;
even in the night my heart will teach me wisdom.
I will hold the Lord for ever in my sight:
with him at my side I can never be shaken.
Thus it is that my heart rejoices,
heart and soul together;
while my body rests in calm hope.”
From Psalm 120
“I was in trouble, and cried to the Lord;
and he answered me.”
Thank you so much, Phoenix!
Suburbanwoman,
How grateful I am to hear that she was not injured. We know that has the potential to go very wrong and God’s Mercy was on her that she was unharmed. I pray too for the other driver and that insurance can make them both whole again – and for no long-term residual aches and pains resulting.
I’ll be posting shortly an update of my own – and within it – it reads of how we can’t be the “be all / end all” for our children. They eventually spread their wings and fly off and then it’s all about the learning – the learning we all got to do when we were up and comers – when we were all building our Spiritual testimony.
Praise God for your granddaughter’s safety and for your close and everlasting bond through Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
Thank You, Father, for your Gentle Mercies and for holding our loves in The Palm of Your Hand. May they never leave Your Sight, Father, and may they grow strong and determined to be mighty warriors for Your Cause. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, I pray, AMEN
Thank you so much, JWoo!
So happy to hear your daughter is on a new path. Prayers that she will have the will to continue on and follow the Lord’s lead to what is best for her.
So true about letting go and letting God when it comes to our babies.
An update and continued prayer request:
My daughter is out of the clutches of the harmful guy. She is no longer blocking numbers and is openly and freely talking. He and his family very cruelly accused her of cheating on him when her male, 58 year old co-worker, walked her home in the dark when she got off her work shift at 2 AM – because she was walking alone in the dark in a really shady and terrible town!!!!! (I’m going to find that guy and kiss him!!! God bless you for looking after my 19 year old daughter, Rocky – whoever you are!)
I did not hear about this firsthand, but through our intermediary and dear family friend, Margaret. Savannah is now staying with a female co-worker and her daughter. I believe Savannah is not telling me – because she doesn’t want me to be “right” – and there’s a bit of a pride thing there that hasn’t fully broken – but PRAISE THE GOOD LORD – she’s talking with me.
I pretended not to know and made some very gentle innocuous inquiries to her and she was back to being her loving self. After a little “small talk” via text – I gently asked her – “Honey, would you tell me if you ever wanted to come home?” and she replied “I like it here. I have friends and a job that I love.” and I told her that I was DELIGHTED for her and was really PROUD of her. She told me she’s coming home soon to see me and the kitties and, again, she told me she loves me. (weeping)
What am I proud of? I am proud that my daughter went through some really hard things and she didn’t turn tail and run back home to Momma’s house – she is pressing onward and forward – and she’s growing up! What an awful way to learn, but each of us gets to walk through our own Spiritual testimony refining fire. PRAISE GOD THROUGH WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW.
This Spiritual stronghold was broken on October 19th – and I went back to my journals and you know what I prayed about that day? I was stepping back and stepping out of the situation. I was fully entrusting her to The Lord’s Care… and the more I stepped out… the more GOD stepped in! And He took care of it.
She is my precious girl – my only family. She and I – that’s it. But she really doesn’t belong to me – and she never has – she has always belonged to our Heavenly Father and I thank Him for His Divinity, His Providence, His Protection and He Setting her amongst others with whom she can build a village of caring. That others are watching out for her. Someday, she will sit with me and tell me the story – be still my beating heart.
I have three job interviews next week. I need to get myself in order and get back to working. I’ve lost almost 15 pounds since leaving the horrid employer on October 8th and it is very likely God moved me for my health and so I could fully immerse myself in prayer and be surrounded by honorable people during this horrific time. I pray and fully believe that God Will not allow us to fail, or fall, or be harmed in any way. He Loves us with an eternal Love and I am so humbly grateful. I thank Him for freeing us from bondage and “as for me and my house, we will serve The Lord”.
Blessings and love to you, our faithful Treeper warrior friends. God hears our prayers!
Yes…Someday it will all be made known to you! I can’t stop the tears Woo….I have prayed so hard and so often for you and your little girl. Out Father had his eyes and and caring arms wrapped around her the whole time – sending his warrior angel to walk her home at 2am. (Terrifies me to think that she could have been alone at that time in the morning.)
Be still, and know that I am God – the surrender of fear, and the letting go to trust. Tears….and so much joy…
Ad Rem – the place that she is located is one the highest crime cities for drug and human trafficking in the State of Indiana. My mother’s heart just doesn’t even get my mind around that and the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do was “let go, let God” and pray as it all plays out. I am still praying, but a prophetic minister saw Savannah in his mind and she was leading people to Christ. That IS who my daughter really is. This “person” who was lured into online sex predators, in-person predators, lying and carrying on – was not my daughter. It was a demon and it came from the internet and social media. I am now a member of the non-profit P.E.A.C. (Parents of Estranged Adult Children) and this is becoming a social movement of epidemic proportions.
I love you and I know it’s only the POWER OF PRAYER who sustains all of us. Every day.
I’m so sorry… I misspoke. It’s only GOD Who sustains us using prayer as our lifeline. I’m one tired Mom. ❤️
God Sunday morning JWoo. Thank you so much for keeping us updated. I have been praying for both you and Savanna. I am so happy for the update and the fact you are speaking to each other.
I have you and Savanna on my permanent prayer list. Thanking God now for his Guardian Angel that protected your daughter walking home so late at night. I am sure she will continue to have a Guardian Angel keeping her safe.
Thank you Jesus for prayers answered and the love you provide each and every one of your children.
God is so very good JWoo. Prayers, Love and blessings are coming your way this Sunday morning from this senior.
Pat, dear sister… I love you too. I couldn’t ask for a better group of friends to do life with… except I wish you all were CLOSER. I would really like that but am encouraged because we will have an awesome neighborhood together in Heaven.
Thank you for praying for us. That means so much to me. ❤️ ✝️
How are you coming along? Are you finding some stimulating foods and gaining some weight back? Keeping you in prayer too, friend, for that burning sensation to go away! The human body is so mystifying… but of course it is.. look at the Holy Engineer!
Hugs to you
