Representative Elise Stefanik is a strong supporter of Israel and has concerns about current narratives swirling around the politicization of Intelligence Community information to shape anti-Israel sentiments. Part of that collective effort is a not-so-subtle effort to remove DNI Gabbard from her position by questioning her loyalties. A considerable segment of Washington DC wants to return to a more Dan Coats style DNI.
As a tenured member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), Mrs. Stefanik used her time during the congressional testimony of Gabbard, Ratcliffe and Patel to confirm the Trump administration policy toward the IC to remove all political interests. WATCH:

$100 on Maga
I’m not even sure what maga even is now. Seems like a shift in the paradigm.
It ain’t Theil or Ellison. Vance or Rubio will piss all over it when so ordered.
Maybe its Tulsi, or Eric Trump?
Is and always has been AMERICA FIRST!
That’s the problem. Too many on our side appear to think “MAGA” refers to a well defined set of policies concerning certain aspect of our national culture.
It doesn’t. So then they try to decide whether someone is Maga or anti-Maga by what policies they support or oppose. The problem is – that’s only part of MAGA.
What MAGA actually means is taking any and every action necessary to remove threats that undermine or destroy its sovereignty or any societal, economic, industrial, agricultural, scientific, academic, military, or political/ governmental institution or cultural tradition of our nation that contributes to its overall success in being the very best nation to live within, develop one’s individual creative ideas, and with which to conduct business and trade.
Making America Great Again implies it was great once before. It was. Of course it was Not without problems or imperfections. Once we get it back to being the great country it was, we can work on those flaws. The other part of MAGA is keeping it great.
KAG. Keep America Great.
That requires a population who appreciate what they’ve got and respect what’s required to maintain success in all areas of our national society.
That means the government and education institutions must be rebuilt to remove the corruption within and remove the false historical narratives that have disillusioned so many people in recent generations and generated apathy and corruption, and has destroyed so many potential achievements.
It means that each successive generation of the population must learn to understand and then jealously guard those unique aspects of our country such as were built into the Constitution as its primary laws – the Bill of Rights.
President Trump’s MAGA strategy began with a set of policies and goals but he has evolved during the execution of his strategy and has wisely made many tactical decisions along the way to deal with specific threats that were not previously known in any detail. But it’s unwise to believe he’s being overwhelmed with the effort to destroy his gains and momentum.
Right now, IMHO, MAGA means whatever President Trump is doing to continue forward and log as many “wins” as possible.
Thank you @GB Bari. Well written. I watched the video and was incensed whenever I heard the word “homeland,” which only entered the lexicon after 9/11. That used to be what Nazi Germany called their country during WWII. Why not use the word United States instead?
Astute observation, RetiredIG. Imagine that keen observation and analysis are (were) part of your vocational skillset.
Yes. Homeland is a term carried over from Europe. It’s where most of the “Globalist “ leadership reside……
But actually, Das Vaterland (the Fatherland) is the term used most often by the German Nazi Party and its predecessors.
Gute Nacht, mein Freund.
I thought for sure back in 2018 when Andrew Cuomo was running for election as Governor of New York that his statement “America was never that great” would surely sink his campaign but it did not!
Well, you know the basic list of whines and complaints about traditional US culture thst the Left has used for decades to justify their attraction to totalitarianism…..
😎😎
“America was never that great.”
Yes America was indeed Great. It was Great because it somehow always managed to have people in leadership positions who would: “tak[e] any and every action necessary to remove threats that undermine or destroy its sovereignty or any societal, economic, industrial, agricultural, scientific, academic, military, or political/ governmental institution or cultural tradition of our nation.”
America slipped away from Greatness when we allowed people into high leadership positions who would NOT take those actions.
America is getting itself back onto the path to Greatness because we have leaders, the foremost being PDJT, who will indeed take those actions essential to national Greatness.
MAGA is about the people not the policies. No set of paper policy statements will withstand the wrong people in leadership. With the wrong people the policies will be twisted and corrupted. With the right people the policies will naturally flow toward wherever the need is greatest.
Bingo. You’ve been observing.
That’s why Pres. DJ Trump is in the adversary’s crosshairs.
He is the leader and lead example of the “right people.”
Well said. Thank you, sir.
🇺🇸 👍 😎
I will grant you that it was Great but I think it would be helpful if more people could articulate in what ways precisely it was great and it what ways it fell short of greatness. The Constitutional Convention of 1787 lasted months behind closed doors and broke up after fashioning a compromise mish-mash which nobody liked. I believe many of the problems involving corruption and oligarchy that have polluted, if not outright destroyed, the original republic as envisioned were there from the get-go; in other words, the current tree, and all its problems, come from an original seed wherein many flaws were encoded.
So it really would be helpful to dive deeper into what aspects of the American experiment with republicanism have been great and where it has fallen short. Otherwise, it’s all just ra-ra posturing, merely emotive, quasi-religious faith-based cheerleading.
One small example: there are two widely held notions of the United States as an exceptionally good or great republic:
a) one that can throw its moral, political, financial and military weight far afield in order to benefit both herself and the world
b) a small-r republic without overly centralized government nor a muscular imposition of power far afield from its actual geographical territory, a nation of small business owners and farmers, independent, free, proud, well educated, not a feeding trough for greedy corporations and self-serving power agendas.
Can these two versions of a great America coexist in the same polity and with the same set of values? Personally, I doubt it yet many in MAGA seem perfectly comfortable with both visions even though they are mutually incompatible. And that’s just one example; there are dozens more.
Read The 5000 Year Leap by cleon Skousen.
This should be a textbook in every school.
“I think it would be helpful if more people could articulate in what ways precisely it was great and it what ways it fell short of greatness.”
I don’t know how long you’ve been reading articles and especially the hundreds of daily comments in The Last Refuge forum, Ashley, but if that has not been made clear to you by now, I think there’s not much else anyone could say that would convince you.
There are a LOT – hundreds? – of baby boomers like myself who frequently comment under Sundance’s articles and in the Daily Open Thread and Daily Presidential Politics Thread. Most have repeatedly commented about the relatively peaceful and good life growing up in the 1950s and 1960s before the Deep State and anti-American subversives had fully corrupted our government, academic and entertainment institutions.
Example- Despite the Left hating him, Ronald Reagan won re-election in 1984 by a landslide – 49 states. Obviously THAT national election was NOT under Deep State / foreign control. And in that same decade, RAP “music” (have to put music in quotes) had not yet turned the urban black population into white-hating racist criminals even though the drug scourge had already begun in urban areas in the 1970s. Jobs were relatively plentiful up to the early 1990s when the globalists took over and started shutting down factories and moving manufacturing overseas, and before illegal immigration was a Democrat strategy – they still had the working class under their control..
In the 1950s a child could walk the streets of almost ALL small towns and all but the worst slums of cities and NOT be subject to kidnapping for sex trafficking. I know firsthand- my 9 year old sister and her neighborhood girlfriends rode the bus into downtown Dayton OH and spent hours walking around there without any problems. Couldn’t do that today in Dayton much less Baltimore where we spent the majority of our childhood.
Fathers could support a family comfortably on one blue collar income before 1972. I know – my Dad did so as did many men in our suburban Baltimore row house neighborhood. Most women were stay at home moms. Life was relatively secure, steady, consistent. Inflation was not a major factor before 1972.
I’ve only scratched the surface of aspects of life in the US that were far more stable & peaceful than today. Ask any boomer who is 70 yrs old or older. We remember. There are books written about it. Even the family-rated movies usually portray life somewhat accurately back then as simpler and safer.
Thanks for the memories.
In 1950’s living in East Dayton off Third Street hill my mom would send my 5-6 yr young self several blocks down the hill with an envelope with cash and a list to the meat market.
The trolley buses were clean and safe.
Somehow I survived. 😉
Today East Dayton looks like the favelas I saw in Brasil.
Sigh.
Yes I have been advised that much of the city of Dayton descended into the same urban cesspool that has destroyed so many former cities that were built around industries & businesses that disappeared in the latter 20th century.
Dayton was the home of National Cash Register (NCR). My father worked for the B&O Railroad and his office was in Union Station in downtown Dayton…but that entire station was demolished some years after we moved back to Baltimore and was never replaced. Progress?
So in a word Pragmatism.
Fight for what you can.
Get the best available result, rinse, repeat and revisit later
Seems like if PDJT doesn’t eliminate the DS and weaponized IC before January of 2029, we are screwed no matter who wins next. Not a great feeling.
If he can eliminate the Federal Income tax that would take the biggest arrow out of the Federal Gov quiver. That is their ability to incriminate citizens easily. They can likely find a wrong journal entry or tax filing issue to bury most American’s. Take that away, and they would likely have to plant evidence on Americans to arrest them in the future. Taxes is the control mechanism.
Ha. Who needs evidence? The previous administration and their co-conspirators who are lurking say “Hold my beer!”.
Hence the reason I said if he can eliminate the federal income tax that would be the work around. At least on a big level if he can’t get rid of the scum.
With who, Bondi?
Won’t he be a lame duck in ten months?
PDT was/is generally a lame duck from the criminal prosecution of those in the kenyan Demented Fraud administrations perspective the day he put Barbie Biondi in any kind of leadership position at the DOJ
Keep throwing the truth bombs, ORG! My only prayer is that our VSGPDJT has a real gem cooked up for the Kenyan, his beech Holder and all the other MF’ers who committed sedition and/or treason and still walk free.
Cuz if he doesn’t…..I do…and so do a lot of MAGA folks.
Time will tell and I’m only 69 so I got a few good years left to help the cause, if you follow my drift.
BRASS
Wiles
Bondi, Wiles, the same.
Taxes is the control mechanism.
Straight up behavior modification via grinding us between the millstones of taxes and inflation.
I agree . Is it tariffs that would fund what government , should be ?
Tariffs were mostly what funded the government before the illegal confiscation.
Tariffs and sales tax or vat tax. Even if they abused it we could choose what we wanted to spend our money on. But if they did abuse it most businesses would likely close up. So it pigeon holds them realistically.
A German, South African and Ukrainian jump a horse over a bar…
Refreshing to see grownups doing this. Top marks to US Rep. Stefanik, DNI Gabbard and Director Patel for “asking the right effing questions” here.
Does Elise Stefanik really think she is all that?
Give me a break.
She IS, actually. Have your break and stop being jealous.
What is there to be jealous about?
Actually, I thought she was looking very nice in her suits but was disappointed about her re FISA-702, so that’s the issue I have.
Elise Stefanik voted in favor of the Reforming Intelligence and Securing America Act (H.R. 7888) on April 12, 2024, which renewed FISA Section 702 for two years. This legislation authorizes surveillance of non-U.S. persons abroad but includes provisions to address concerns over the incidental collection of U.S. citizen data.
She looks very nice here!
About 10 yrs ago when she got noticed? I don’t think she’s aging well for her age.
Apparently President Trump didn’t think so and didn’t support her campaign for NY Governor.
Elise Stefanik is aligned with MAGA in 2026. She has positioned herself as a top ally of Donald Trump and embraced MAGA messaging, particularly during her brief campaign for New York governor.
Her campaign launch in November 2025 featured combative rhetoric echoing Trump’s language, branding her as a “courageous leader ready for the fight” against “woke mob” liberalism.
Despite dropping out of the gubernatorial race in December 2025, her political identity remained rooted in MAGA conservatism.
However, her loyalty to Trump did not secure his support—Trump publicly undercut her, notably refusing to back her attacks on NYC Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani and declining to endorse her gubernatorial bid.
This led to commentary that her exit signaled the limits of MAGA loyalty, as Trump’s lack of support weakened her campaign.
Ultimately, Stefanik championed MAGA ideals, but her political setback highlighted the apparent risks of building a career solely around Trump’s endorsement. So I’d be a bit circumspect yet about her political future in MAGA while PDJT is president.
G’morning GB, do you think that maybe President Trump withheld her endorsement because New Yorkers haven’t felt enough pain from the socialist/marxist policies of the governor and many mayors? There needs to be a grassroots groundswell to throw off the socialist yoke and force the population to realize the deeprooted stupidity of the current style of governance. If Elise squeaked in to the Governorship there would be no long-term and deep transformation for the better. To promote Elise at that time would be to squander political capital. New Yorkers, as a whole, need to “touch the hot stove” to lastingly learn that socialism does not work. Sad yes, but necessary.
…steps off soapbox…
I honestly do not know, and do not recall any Truth Social post he may have made regarding that decision and the reasons he chose to do so.
In general, I know he generally refuses to back any candidate who he believes does not have a chance to win even with his endorsement.
So he either had data that indicated she was going to lose either way, or he felt she had betrayed him at some point on a critical issue, despite her seeming endorsement of his other policies.
She’s solid, IMO. Wish we had more like her.
I will remain a fan of Elise — though not able to vote for her as I live in a faraway Red state — because of her ripping up the then-President of Harvard University, Claudine Gay, in the 2023 hearings re: collegiate protests on behalf of Palestine. Gay wasn’t the only one getting shredded, but she was the worst in terms of her unintelligent responses and she was forced to resign her lofty, unearned post at Harvard soon afterwards. This also screwed Harvard Board Chair Penny Pritzger somewhat, bringing public attention to her mishandling of Harvard’s reputation by pushing Gay for its president. It was very cool to see Elise do this as she is herself an alumna of the university!
Proven repeatedly.
So in typical toxic female fashion you go after her looks? Its women like you who give the rest of us a bad reputation.
Did I say anything about looks? 🙂
Nope. It was classic projection.
Seems as though she’s not on the board of directors of the NED anymore at least.
Based on Sundance’s appraisal of her early on, and the subsequent attacks by the left to unseat her, I gave $ to her reelections a couple of times. Even though she’s nowhere near the district where I live.
She got Cardinal Comey in a lie to Congress.
So, Vance’s stock has dropped recently, and Rubio may be trying hard, but he lacks physical presence.
Who would you say is the MAGA ticket?
Personally, I like Tom Hohman and Tulsi Gabbard for VP. But I understand that they may lack sufficient votes. They are both professionals who are passionate about doing their job to the best of their abilities.
Make Tulsi the next president, get a big bucket of popcorn, and enjoy the show :).
Do you realize that Tulsi was basically a card-carrying socialist/Democrat when she was in Congress? Her positions while a Congressional Democrat: Ban “Assault Weapons”, $15/hr. minimum wage, Yes to reparations, No electoral college, No fossil fuels, No nuclear energy, No limits on abortion, Yes to Medicare for all, Citizenship for “dreamers”. When has she repudiated these positions? (She hasn’t) On 2/21/22 Tulsi’s name still appeared on Schwab’s WEF Young Global Leaders list. Less than month later her name was scrubbed from that list on that site. She remained a member of the Socialist Democrat Party until 30-days out from the mid-term election cycle in 2022. She is a Klaus Schwab trained ‘global leader’ whether she still appears on their web site or not. Be wary of her. I decided to trust the president’s judgement when he nominated her for DNI, but her past still means we should watch her carefully.
Yes but when Trump extended his hand, she chose the red pill.
I assumed he’d had her carefully vetted for that position. She accepted because it was an opportunity to get inside his administration. I also know that she’s a veteran but based on her unrepudiated socialist beliefs prior to that, I have a hard time trusting that she really swallowed the pill.
IIRC, she resigned as DNC vice in 2016 when initially backing Bernie Sanders. However, the DNC advised her that if she didn’t revoke her support of him, they would make sure that her political career was ruined. Sometimes people need an epiphany to wake up. Remember, Donald Trump was a Democrat for most of his life. So were many, many Trump supporters. By the way, the issue with young globalist leaders…..you don’t apply to join. The WEF looks at what they feel are promising young people and invite them to join. I don’t think Tulsi ever joined. You may recall that a few years ago the internet was spewing that Putin was a young globalist leader. We need to be careful as to which sources we belive.
Her photo was on the WEF’s website in the Young Leaders section… so?
We should watch them all carefully.
Remember the Ides of March. Remember Joe Kent. Totally snookered me.
Dang. I didn’t know all of that. It appears you are correct. I find it so dang hard to know what to believe anymore due to the intel we’re being fed. And that includes the BS from both sides.
I do know I support America First above all else. And think all Marxist should be dealt with in a severe manner. I just hope voting can fix things at this point although I am fast losing hope.
If congress doesn’t pass the SAVE act I’m done with the ballot box.
Yes but that makes her even MORE impressive for having the awareness and critical thinking skills to understand she was incorrectly positioned to truly help improve the country.
So far she has exhibited very capable leadership skills and level of competence and integrity that very few others have shown.
I’d say that’s worth a lot. The domestic enemies of Trump / MAGA seem to recognize this and have sharpened their focus and ire upon her.
Yep. Tulsi Gabbard does not need to be “forgiven” for being a former Democrat. Hilary Clinton was the best advertisement EVER for me and I can surmise many others for not voting that way again until I see someone in that party who makes any sense.
Tulsi, praise the Lord, has COURAGE, HAS A BRAIN, and has the skill to speak TRUTH to anyone who has the eyes to to see and the ears to hear her.
Think there is a great WOE coming for those that don’t.
🎯🎯
Whoever leads MAGA, must understand and support the individual liberty and rights above any government philosophy and law.
The average college kid would be incapable of writing a two paragraph essay on what the quote ” Government is a necessary evil” means.
Individusl Liberty and rights are precisely what the Constitution describes.
But neither should infringe upon anyone else’s liberty and rights. That’s where laws and government come into the picture.
Too many self-identified “conservatives” reject government to the point of being near-anarchists.
When discussing the implications of the declarative sentence “government is a necessary evil“, remember the fundamental reasons behind “necessary”.
Does not “rights” also imply “responsibility”?
Therein the problem, IMO.
not sure she can stay afloat without Trump.
but maybe. Trump takes a lot of her flak and lets her operate. they have to gut the IC for whomever’s next.
Stephen Miller, IMO.
Yes, he has all the right qualities and could be the dark horse.
I like Miller, but there’s that likeability thing.
i like him.
me too
That “likeability thing” is what gets us so many useless tits in government. People need to focus on more foundational qualities.
I like him too.
Tulsi 2028. Strong, consistent, loyal, America first. No wonder they all hate her.
I just want to get through 2026 unscathed first.
Nothing to hate about her, but……..
Would democrats hate on her because she sides with the republicans, or will republicans hate on her because she used to be a democrat? Gotta play the ol’ identity politics card for all it’s worth when it’s the only card they hold.
Yes, I agree and have considered those points.
This is just if I had my choice. I trust her more than
the other names being tossed around. I’ve been watching her since 2015 and have
very much appreciated her straightforward honest approach, regardless of popularity
of her opinion.
I really do not think of 2028, way too much can happen/change by then.
President Reagan and President Trump both used to be Democrats. It’s only disqualifying if its an insincere change.
Tulsi was basically a card-carrying socialist/Democrat when she was in Congress?
But Donald Trump was once a Democrat….?????
And he became a Republican. So far I’ve seen nothing that suggests she has.
She became more than RepubliCON, she became a patriot in the 99 percentile.
All you say about Tulsi’s past affiliations is true enough yet your recounting of her history leaves some voids.
There were some key moments – and her deep consideration of them – that led to reforming and consolidating her views.
She is intellectually fearless – not afraid to take her own look at a powerful person or divisive situation and come up with, and stick to, her well-informed (and unpopulat) opinion. cf. Hillary’s wrath, Assad as a better option than what replaced him.
People can have awakenings. Some, if they’re courageous and intellectually honest enough, can go against their past attachments and change.
tulsi’s realignment was largely due to her treatment by the demmorhoid party.
rinos are basically dems pretending to be repubes to win election. why can it not go the other way?
secondly, power corrupts. there isnt anyone in DC that should ever be given the benefit of the doubt.
Because as Sundance has explained many times, democrats pursue Ideology. Republicans pursue
Money.
So a democrat will Never vote for something which is against that ideology.
A republican will vote any way the wind blows, as long as it fills their pockets.
Is that so?
How about far to often?
Watch them all,,, but her actions speak loudly. She has changed because she has enough sense and experience to see the truth, in my opinion. Hard to imagine someone destroying the machine they are suspected of serving as a means of furthering that machine’s interest. If she fails to eradicate the deep state actors, I might consider if that failure was purposeful or avoidable.
I agree!
My ideal GOP Presidential Succession: DJT/Vance –> (2024-2028); Vance/Rubio (2028-2036)–> Rubio/Hegseth (2036-2044)–> Hegseth/Gabbard<?> (2044-2052) –> Gabbard<?>/Barron Trump (2052-2060) = 40 years!
I don’t agree that Rubio lacks physical presence. He coms across extremely well IMO and that is worth more than a couple inches of height.
Somewhere Napoleon is chuckling….
Napoleon was not elected.
a lot of people have zero idea about history……….
DeSantis could lend Rubio some boots
DeSantis works for Sussie Wiles bosses. He killed his political career when he tried to take on “The Big Kahuna of Mar-a-Lago”. Ashes in an urn have more life.
his wife puts the pants on
With her copycat Melania stilleto’s. Still cannot un-see that stunt.
That was the pic in my head too!
That was so harsh on the eyes!
The outfit Mrs. De Santis was wearing looked like something suitable to wear to the gym, for going on the treadmill but then you looked down at the shoes!
He is short. He is more Harry Truman than Ronald Reagan, and the “little Marco Rubio” monicker will kill him on the road.
Height challenged hasn’t hurt F Chuck Todd and George Steponallofus.
Or Lindsey Graham.
No one who’s seen him working and speaking as Secretary of State for Trump #47 would use that invective.
Yea verily.
😎
You seem to have a problem with short people. That’s yours, and anyone else’s that calls him “Little.” Always remember you’ve never seen what he wears in his pants.
Voting today it would be Rubio. Still don’t trust him much but he’s been doing a bang up job.
Rubio is in the mold of many Secretaries of State who never progressed, yet were very good at the mechanics of diplomacy.
I would be happy to see him hold his position into the next administration. Stability within the State Department can be a strong, positive asset for the US in this volatile world.
Tulsi Gabbard has done a wonderful job, and I will appreciate her even more if her work of exposing the Obama corruption results in convictions at the highest level. I say convictions, and I’m referring to the literal treason that Obama and Company inflicted on the U.S. Government. However, is the person we have been enjoying as a person in the Trump administration the same person we would get as a President or Vice President.
I have always had the impression that Tulsi changed her stripes in order to succeed in the Trump Administration, and beyond that we may get someone very different. I would love to see her continue as a MAGA person and a lover and devotee of the U.S. Constitution.
I would love to see her as the first female U.S. president. She has shown herself capable and deserving, IMO. But I would hate to see her elected but then we get a Leftist or a Leftist Libertarian.
You are banking on Bondi actually prosecuting anyone…
Having said that, she is one of very few people in DC that I consider honorable. I have met Hohman, and I believe he would represent a bigger problem for the Democrats. There is no doubt, wishy-washyness, excuses, etc. Where Clinton had Teflon, Hohman has 18 inch steel cladding. He is just as relentless and results driven. Things would get done.
Keeping the Lobbyists like Wiles & Blondi OUT of the WH is the 1st thing to do, imo. hard to do when they Inbed in your Campaign with Monied Interests behind them.
By the Nov sElections the political landscape will be Different and Unknown at this point despite the forecasters.
By Nov 2028 it’s an Eternity in Politics away, as well as in Economics.
as far as a Female President, (or VP) I would vote for Tulsi Gabbard, perhaps with equal consideration as Vance.
Rubio and DeSantis would be less acceptable.
the Reagan Revolution was short circuited by Bush the Elder, with Bush the Younger going Full NeoCon after running for president on a Domestic platform, a Repeating Pattern???
Trump IS and Was “Outside the Box” but the Necessities of the Situation Will Require even More “Outside” thinking, policies to navigate the Future. My point being the Trump Revolution must not suffer the Fate of the Reagan Revolution. It Must Carry into the Future and Continue to Make America Free (of foreign influence) Again. imo.
Actually, I’m not banking on Bondi prosecuting anyone. I realize that Tulsi has no means to push her finding further. I was just saying I would be so thrilled if they were, and would be happy to see Tulsi receive the well deserved credit.
AG Pam Bondi is terrible. I can’t be certain that she’s not another Bill Barr, who was a traitor to the country, IMO. Pam Bondi has shut down a string of important cases, such as the Biden Auto Pen scandal. She is totally untrustworthy.
How about staying in the here and now and appreciate what Tulsi is doing for the United States NOW?
A lot can happen in 3 years. Did anyone expect a PDJT run in 2015?
Speculating now is rather pointless.
Homan has the wrong skillset, not a good choice.
Homan is great in his lane. He doesn’t have experience in trade negotiations, money supply, tariffs, deep weed financial knowledge, military schemes, import/export games, and how to out maneuver all of the back stabbers.
Unless we get people in the Oval office who understand geo-politics and all of what that entails then we are destined to be back to where we were under Biden.
All the more reason to acknowledge there will be quite a void as nobody on either side will come close to filling DJT’s shoes.
Rubio is classicly good looking, dresses immaculately, speaks another language, excels under extreme pressure and is a very experienced legislator.
You are deluded -Vance is a lock !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Director Gabbard’s answer is not “the best answer” it is The Answer.
Politics and her opinion do not enter into the intel she oversees going to the President. She is also obviously doing her utmost to ensure that other’s opinions and politics are not in that intel going to the President.
This lady is a consummate professional about her job. She has my trust and faith as much as any mere human can attain to that level, right up there at the President Trump level of faith and trust in his judgement.
Press on Director Gabbard!
(additionally she did not fall for the trap of condemning Joe Kent because the next question would have been why weren’t you aware of his shortcomings? Why didn’t you fire him?)
These same Senate critters happened to confirm Joe Kent, so for them now to be asking questions about awareness seems a bit disingenuous.
What’s new?
I don’t disagree with one word of that clip. I appreciate what DNI Gabbard said. And I wholeheartedly agree with what Dir Patel said…if these leftist judges are going to be weak on crime, especially illegal alien/terrorist crime, then there needs to be mandated extreme sentences followed by immediate deportation without appeal.
How an individual like Kent who it has been reported was a Democrat, a Libertarian (closet Democrat- Rand Paul) , then becomes a Republican a couple years ago. Someone like that should not get into a Republican Administration.
A WA State *ahem* Republican…….
#MAGA organization could be better….. a lot better
Ronald Reagan comes to mind….
TG & RFK Jr come to mind.
MAGA isn’t “Republican.”
Nor was Trump
Exactly
MAGA isn’t “Republican.”
^^^THIS^^^
That’s for da** sure!
Why not? He had enough common sense to recognize it when he heard it. And he has the courage to go against the “party line.”
Don’t know a lot about Joe Kent, but Rand Paul is not a Democrat. He votes with Trump the majority of the time, as does Massie in the House.
Just yesterday Rand Paul was on one of the radio shows. I heard him say the SAVE Act should be reduced to just the citizenship requirement and to take out all the other requirements–then it might pass.
Sounded pretty lame to me.
Agreed.
The ‘trans’ component has no business being attached to this bill. This is exactly what the dems do all the time. It needs to be a clean bill specifically about voting. The ‘trans’ mess can be addressed in separate
legislation. Attaching it makes passing the most important bill in our lifetimes all the more difficult. Obviously, TPTB don’t want their apple cart upset.
It can be “negotiated” out.
I thought a grand database was being prepared of MAGA people the four years he was out of office. I guess not. Or incompetence or skullduggery.
Project 2025 did do that but it got its throat slit during the campaign.
Totally agree when it comes to Kent. His vote for Bernie Sanders alone should have disqualified him from the Trump Administration.
Remember, though, that Kent’s boss has been Tulsi Gabbard, who was a Democrat until 2022 and did not become a Republican until October 2024. So far, she’s proving that a past Democrat can be trusted, but her failure to root Kent out before now is worrisome.
Meanwhile from previous testimony, the FISA702 package will sail through another approval and renewal; is CTH the only objector?
Is 702 catching or protecting fraud? Asking for a Democrat.
702 IS a fraud!
Isreal was going to attack Iran, hence why we attacked first. Per Rubio
Americans have been subjected to a 40+ year Iranian hating ***, who’s done everything to undermine President Trump during negotiations with Iran. Who just killed Larijian and who just bombed the LNG plant in Qatar? Israel!
Trump better put his foot down quickly on these neocons!
Bill Kristol and Yahoo went to School together and are good friends, not sure if anyone is aware of this? Where? Philadelphia!
The Joe Kent interview with Tucker is damning of the Trump admin. Recent events in Iran are damning on the decision to start this quagmire. I am deeply disappointed yet at the same time hopeful. Hopefully I don’t see what President Trump does. He hasn’t screwed up yet. I hope.
Oh and Charlie Kirk has not killed by a 30-06.
It is …
IF one believes it wasn’t a total set up…total!!
A couple of days ago, I said I wondered how long it would be before Kent would appear on the Enemedia Sunday talk shows. He couldn’t even wait for those, and sought shelter with Tucker who was only too willing to give him a platform and airtime…before the details of this Kent’s leaking and everything else found its way into the wider public arena.
Of course it was damning…
And meant to be.
In my opinion with malice aforethought.
Any interview he does on the Sunday talk shows will be one sided and total bereft of the investigation into him and his previous statements about striking Iran.
He is a useful idiot for someone.
They’ll snap him up and let him talk without interruption.
None of those pesky facts about his being under investigation long before he wrote that self serving resignation letter. By the end of whatever show he appears on, the moderators will have crowned him with a radiant halo.
But Kent won’t let them crown him because it could mess up his hair!
A company creature.
CIA…absolutely 👍🏻
Why do you watch that click bait 🪤 crap?
I’m sorry, I’m confused. Does Mrs. Stefanik work for the U.S. Congress or the Israel Congress?
The easier question, with all due respect, would be: Who in our CONgress does NOT work for the Israeli congress, or whatever their governing body is called today.
She works for the UniParty and the globalists.
The people questioning TG’s loyalties have no moral high ground or even legs to stand on.
Frankly it would be great if they had even an ounce of TG’s loyalty to the USA. Sickening.
Ok, four females (I think it’s safe to label them such) run for president. Hillary, Susan, Michelle and Tulsi. Don’t know of a dark horse (not a racist line by me). For me, it’s Tulsi all the way. Your thoughts?
She’s certainly admirable no doubt, but look what the Democrats did to her as the Republicans would do as well and btw, are doing right now!
Unfortunately, it won’t happen. Until we start voting all the incumbents out and putting in people who have real life experience in global economics, we don’t stand a chance.
Sorry, I was talking about Tulsi but I’m sure you already knew that. Brain types faster the my fingers, lol.
Of the four, Tulsi stands out as;
A) The only one that’s both qualified and capable of serving as President.
B) The only one who would seek the office only to serve as President, not to be the “first female president.”
Tulsi has never let her gender be the reason for her accomplishments or the excuse for any failure.
She would not be the first female president. She would be the most accomplished female president, setting a high bar for any future office holders.
Susan who?
Why that’s the liar of Benghazi of course, Susan Rice–who pines for Macdaddy B. Hussein Obama.
There is a term I’ve heard for government co-mingling with corporate interests and wealthy individuals to attain the same goals ($$$$).
Hmm, what was it again?
I’ll Take “What is Fascism” for $200 Alex
“Public-Private Partnership” ‘ B.H. Obama
“Hmm, what was it again?”
Politics as usual.
Stefanik Israel Trip Funded by Group Tied to Anti-Muslim Figures
https://readsludge.com/2024/05/30/stefanik-israel-trip-funded-by-group-tied-to-anti-muslim-figures/
That sleazebag Dees usually was notorious for Alinskying real or imagined “Neo-Nazis” or anyone his group and the ADL viewed as political threats from “Right” while assisting the “Left” and now we see they love Muslims, who would have guessed? (sarc)
Fact: Trump likes to appoint Cabinet level women. Noem is Out at DHS. Now, just Axin, Between Bondi & Gabbard …
Who has Done/Accomplished More for America 1st in rooting out/ exposing Deep Statists ???
Which has had more Public criticism?
Which has had more “Insider” Gov. criticism?
Speaking of Noem,
I’ll let you all in on a little notice (Verbal) that went out but none will hear about it yet, or for that matter, at all. You know those illegals in our country, yay, that came to a halt and is now being handled administratively. Which means those businesses that our agents worked hard getting subpoenas are now moot. So don’t get too excited when illegals continue working.
They’ll pass the Save Act now because this is how our politicians sell the American people all the time. What type of I.D. does the Save Act require? How many states passed those out?
“Which has had more “Insider” Gov. criticism?”
Sometimes a person’s character is better appraised not by not by who their friends are, but by who views them as an enemy.
Hold the line. I see the whites of their eyes and they’re bloodshot. They know their democrat party Iranian ties will be exposed for 2020 including Maduro and China and the EU. I get an X-Men vibe from DNI Gabbard. I think she’s far more than she appears.
Got to hold the line, like Chamberlain and his men did at Little Round Top.
The need for control for all these sewer creatures, is a response to fear.
We must endure and persevere until which point they all are defeated and or irrelevant.
Like the Joshua Chamberlain reference. Too bad that Bowdoin has become such a moonbat cesspool these day.
“FIX BAYONETS”
Things that make you go “Huh”? Unless you understand the truth. How come Schumer has not been excommunicated? Or charged for aiding and abetting terrorism?

Elise Stefanik’s Fight Against Antisemitism Is Quite the Exercise in ChutzpahShe’s rebranded herself as Congress’ foremost protector of Jews. There’s just one problem.
https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2024/06/elise-stefanik-antisemitism-israel-jews-trump-vp.html
Chuck Hamas Schumer should be her first target, and after that a whole slew of Democrats. Unless this is all a game of political charades? We do get our popcorn weekly and watch the congressional circus actors and actresses of the Pro-Israel vs Anti-Israel perform and the fistfights between semites and anti-semites.
Patel nailed the answer in that video segment. Throw them in prison and throw away the key or deport them.
“Not by might nor by power but by MY Spirit, says The LORD.”
People don’t care about the Constitution, I guess.
Re: Tulsi Gabbard: Tulsi was basically a card-carrying socialist/Democrat when she was in Congress. (She hasn’t) On 2/21/22 Tulsi’s name still appeared on Klaus Schwab’s WEF Young Global Leaders list. Less than a month later her name was scrubbed from that list there.
Not enough attention the first time?
It’s the THIRD time.
The beatings will continue until morale improves…
A broken record. Parents must not have given her the attention she felt she was owed, so she repeats and repeats to get comments and attention. JMHO
Time stamp 4:49 – certainly looks like the assistant behind Patel is showing someone’s talking points to the camera on purpose…?
Gotta say Tulsi Gabbard is impressive.
And Patel seemed to be on the ball.
I haven’t always held him in high regard but I’m glad these two are working for us.
Oops. Accidentally flagged your comment while scrolling by.. so sorry! (And if I’ve done that to anyone else please know it was unintentional too.)
Stefanik is 100% neocon. Here is Colin Powell admitting the intelligence he got was bogus but people bought it, hook, line and sinker!
Before having a love fest calling for Tulsi to be the next president … listen very carefully (again) to then answer when House Rep Bera replayed her NEGATIVE stance on President Trump taking out the commander of the IRG in 2019 … and subsequent question regarding the legality of the Operation Epic Fury.
She answered that … “she checked her personal politics at the door when assuming her role as ODNI”.
So far she has been true to her word but that does not mean she “personally agrees” with the President nor does it mean she has changed her tune as a democrat.
I do give her full credit for being honest, professional and trustworthy as opposed to many of the A_hole “Republicans” who were thrust upon the President by the “republican” Senate. In fact she was probably approved believing she was going to be a landmine that went off at some critical moment.
Reagan and Trump were democrats until they weren’t. If Tulsi is faking it she deserves an Oscar !
Here’s McNamara admitting Vietnam was a mistake before his death occurred.
I do hope you all are seeing the narrative discussed above with Powell and McNamara.
Stefanik absolutely REEKS of insincerity and dishonesty. It makes me sick to listen to her.
Tulsi Gabbard is probably the most trustworthy member in the IC besides the director of the CIA Ratcliff. So Elsie r u trying to protect Obama, Clapper et all since she has released those files about corruption? She’s not antisemetic but she is honest. You should try that.
It’s playing out like a bad game of Chutes and Ladders.
First the background on Joe Kent:
https://www.thefocalpoints.com/p/joe-kents-patriotic-service
Then excerpts from his side of the story:
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/kent-tells-tucker-imminent-threat-was-israel-not-iran-ordered-halt-charlie-kirk
He says the National Counterterrorism Center was stopped from pursuing leads on foreign involvement in the Charlie Kirk assassination (which happened after Charlie started expressing concerns about Israel vis a vis Iran).
Foreign involvement? What, don’t you believe the official narrative about the lone shooter and the .30-06 that miraculously didn’t explode Kirk’s neck like a .30-06 would?
And the bullet that was never found?
Jimmy Dore:
The security team included Israelis?
Coincidentally, an Israeli company offers an intelligent sighting system that, if miniaturized, could enable a modern palm gun shooter to accomplish this feat, using an exploding or frangible small caliber bullet.
https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2018/04/09/smart-shooter-israeli-intelligent-sighting-system/
Never mind. The government does not lie to us. Go back to your lives citizens.
as i read through the comments it occurs to me, a fundamental difference between dems and repubes:
dems control the environment of thèir politicians. they could run a bag of shit and their campaign and support would be the same. in other words, it doesnt matter who they lodge into office. whoever they stick in is deathly afraid of their base.
meanwhile, we repubes sit around and focus on personalities, conflicts, and conspiracies. if this dynamic doesnt change, we will never have a lasting win. we need to treat our politicians like dogshit that get punished for any minor offenses. politicians are creatures of their environment. make their environment harsh when they act against us. this is the battlefield. the dems know this. we are stupid in this regard.
rubio, vance, desanti…..doesnt matter. if you make it painful to act against us, they wont. but you gotta learn to be ugly, disrespectful, and mean. even if you gotta fake it.
Excellent Sundance, you nailed it on the head. Tulsi is great, these people have no idea how much Intelligence she’s dealt with going back to all the wars she was in. A real Hero and she is not intimidating to these idiots that ask the stupidest questions. Although I’m sure she can be.
So Stefanik grilled Tulsi. How did Tulsi come out. Medium-rare, medium or fully cooked? What say you grillers out there?
A lot better than a Schumerburger.
Was this meant to be a series of “gotcha” questions from Stefanik, meant to expose Gabbard with underhanded accusations? Or, was it meant to be an intentional, deliberate opportunity for Gabbard to answer important questions, replying with facts that are now officially, publicly, on the record?
She keeps getting larger.
You can sometimes learn a lot about a person by who their enemies are.
The gentleman behind her in the red tie needs to work on his poker face.
I trust Elison more than Thiel. Waiting for JD to come out of Trump’s shadow and we all will see who he really is. And what kind of control Thiel has over him.
Her questioning is reminiscent of the time Rep. Elise Stefanik first came to our attention when asked the question to then Director Comey that loudly set off alarm bells of hidden agendas that gave certain online sleuths directions to dig into which became known Russiagate . . . Rep. Stefanik seems to have retained her natural ability to ask the right questions.
For that alone she will be missed as she is not running for re-election to the House.
I watched the whole video thinking that was Elissa Slotkin and wondering why the words didn’t fit.
I honestly do not understand why Elise Stefanik is extolled as MAGA when she voted for renewal of FISA-702 – if someone would kindly explain this, I would sincerely appreciate it.
When I think of MAGA, I mean “America First” and that means “Americans First” and that all of our Constitutionally-guaranteed rights are upheld – for citizens – and that includes for example, the 4th Amendment . . .
so when the Patriot Act got put through following September 11th, it looks like it was finagled so that it is used on American citizens, not necessarily keeping us safe from terrorism . . . and also used by one President, Barack Obama, to undercut and destroy the Presidency of Donald J. Trump.
When Americans in the aftermath of all the horrific things that happened on September 11th started hearing about those who were flying the planes on that day had been taking lessons on how to fly planes but were not concerned about being able to LAND the planes – and people trying to report things like that and the reports not being acted upon – and some of it seemed to involve the problems emanating from the FBI and the CIA not being ABLE to communicate with each other because of course the CIA was for overseas and the FBI was for things HERE, in America – and gosh we need to revamp things so that the CIA and FBI can communicate clearly and quickly about threats to America –
so fast forward to Switzerland sometime between 2007 and 2009 when Edward Snowden was in Switzerland working for the CIA – the CIA officer he was working under needed Snowden to find a “hook” on a prospect and sent him back to the office to check with the computer guy who had access to Facebook accounts of anyone and everyone in the world and was able to walk about in the accounts and find just what they needed. The computer guy also put Snowden wise about the ease of using 702’s. So did the CIA get that system using Facebook up and running due to the access given by the Patriot Act? It was really easy to look around, not needing any passwords.
Then in December 2015, in the aftermath of the San Bernardino Shooters, the FBI wanted to get into the Apple phone used by the couple or perhaps just the husband but Apple stood their ground on behalf of privacy promises to their customers and then when the FBI found another way as it turned out it was a work phone anyway and there was nothing useful there . . . but why didn’t the CIA help out the FBI with the system THEY were using? Doesn’t the FBI have access to that same system? So how is this Patriot Act even beneficial to the American people when agencies are playing around in their own little sandboxes, in their own silos so the Patriot Act is bullshit and it is NOT America First, it is NOT MAGA to perpetuate it.
Therefore, I conclude, anyone wanting to maintain the Patriot Act and the FISA-702’s as it was set up is not America First and not MAGA.
“so the Patriot Act is
bullshita massive fraud on the Republic and it is NOT America First, it is NOT MAGA to perpetuate it.”I was mulling it over and thought I ought to amend my comment to not use a word that may be offensive and is somewhat coarse – but it is such a great word in some cases!
Tennessee Williams put the idea across very well in “Cat On a Hot Tin Roof” when talking about the “odor of mendacity” and that’s what we have here in the case of the Patriot Act and all those who have worked so hard to tell us it is a good thing for America and Americans!
How can anyone say Stefanik is a strong supporter of Israel, when she does everything under her power to destroy Trump and his agenda? Trump is the most pro Israel President the US has ever had and will most likely ever have again. Not only that he is the strongest Anti Semitism President this country has ever had. Israel has named parks for Trump in their Country.
Yet Stefanik goes out of her way to tell the military that they do not have to obey Trump when they are in a concerted effort to reign in the Iran Regime. With friends like her, who needs enemies:)
Rick, I think you are confusing her with the CIA asset Slotkin. (Democrat)
It seems like MAGA, as a unified movement (or brand really) has been TEA-Partied to pieces. No reason to give up on it, just my thought looking at the current attempts to fracture it.
The concept of MAGA though will never go away.
Everyone that cares about the country and what it was built on wants to make it Great Again. I think I prefer it being a motivating factor in everyone’s mind vs. some public sort of ‘group’ or brand. If everyone keeps the idea in mind, especially when voting, it will still do its best work.
I think more of it now as a new ‘golden rule’ addendum.
What does this mean?
Peter Thiel <-> Elon Musk <-> Larry Ellison
Are those greater than and less than symbols?
It’s playing out like a bad game of Chutes n Ladders.
