World War Reddit works both ways. In Ukraine the manipulation was to give the illusion of success for Zelenskyy. In Iran the manipulation is to give the illusion of failure for Trump.
The bottom line in both scenarios is the illusion being disconnected from reality.

I have no idea why any person or company would maintain subscriptions to the WSJ. They are as FOS as the NYT or WP or CNN. Fox News is the WSJ on TV.
Also, using AI to create the illusion of something is at least trying to make it seem legitimate. Normally the media outlets just create a non-existent “anonymous source” and print an out and out fabrication. Been going on for many years.

The fake news junk I’ve caught glimpses of is so insane I don’t know how anybody could believe it. But the moronic sheeple are asleep at the wheel, not a shred of analytic thought at work in their tiny little heads. No room in there for anything except the address where they can pick up their prefabbed protest signs, and their paychecks.
My mother in law told me that US citizens are being put into concentration camps and then sent overseas. It is insane, she thinks I am the one believing propaganda.
This is what happens when a country allows something like AI to be used. Now we will never know what is real or fake. And that’s what we deserve for allowing this stupidity.
President Trump is absolutely correct. News channels deliberately airing AI propaganda with the intent to manipulate the American citizens into believing they are watching the country’s military assets being destroyed are well deserving of having their licenses revoked. The media conglomerates need to be brought to heel.

I have no sympathy for our leaders who allow AI to be used and then expect we the people to believe it. I, for one, do not believe anything they say because it could all be AI as far as we know. My opinion of these so-called “leaders” is that they do not have the courage to stand up and say “No AI will be used in the Trump administration.” So obviously we can’t believe a word they say. This is so stupid. Sorry, not sorry.

The story detailed how a famous photo from 1992 in Omarska, Bosnia showing an alleged Serbian death camp was in fact a phony. The original photo, taken by Independent Television (ITN) from Great Britain, showed an emaciated Muslim man with his shirt off behind barbwire with his imprisoned comrades behind him. This photo ran worldwide and was just used again June 14th by Time magazine. It was the first significant emotional presentation of the Serbian military as nazi-like thugs. Presidential candidate, Bill Clinton, making reference to the photo promised military action against the Serbs if elected.
According to CAQ this photo was a gross misrepresentation of the situation. News stories showing attacks and ethnic cleansing of Serbs were often repressed or undercovered.”
