How was this previously convicted ISIS supporter allowed out of prison and not deported? A ridiculously avoidable terrorist incident has unfolded at Old Dominion University in Virginia.
Mohamed Jalloh was born in Sierra Leone, became a naturalized US citizen, was radicalized by al-Qaeda, was then convicted for providing material support to ISIS in 2017 and sentenced to 11 years in prison; then released from prison early in 2024 under Biden.
NEW YORK POST – The madman who opened fire at Old Dominion University on Thursday, killing a retired military officer instructing an ROTC class, has been identified as an ex-National Guard soldier convicted of trying to support ISIS, The Post has learned.
Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, 36, stormed into a classroom inside ODU’s Constant Hall and asked if it was an ROTC class. When someone confirmed that it was, he launched the suspected terror attack, shooting the professor several times, law enforcement sources said.
A heroic ROTC cadet at the Virginia school jumped to action to prevent more carnage, stabbing Jalloh to death after the crazed suspect gunned down the class instructor, the sources said. (read more)

Immigrants are given citizenship if they are participants in military service. He just did eight years in prison for supporting ISIS.
Someone should have been aware of his whereabouts since they are spying on everyone, specifically to prevent this sort of incident. Or are they . . .
How was this previously convicted ISIS supporter allowed out of prison, not deported, and not surveiled by the FBI??
because you know …Biden and friends…
Answer Joe Biden
BIDEN
Because; The blame for absolutely every ill that plagues this country can be laid at ghe feet of the democrat party.
Kudos to the Cadet who did not restrain this enemy. Killing the sob on the spot was entirely the best decision.
I read a poster’s comment this morning – can’t even remember from where – but it is *priceless*!!!
LOL! The terrorist brought a gun to a fistfight and lost!
How can this ex National Guardsman even be out of prison . Shouldn’t the oath he pledged to the Constitution of The United States Of America that he violated guarantee that he be imprisoned for life or even executed ?
I guess sometimes you can bring a knife to a gunfight.
anyone voting for a democrat is an enemy of America
The beings who do this crap all had mamas who didn’t teach them about gratitude. The scum from Afcrapistan who murdered that National Guardsman in DC was let into this country after we pulled out of his native dung hill. We allowed him to bring his family with him. We saved all them from a horrible death at the hands of some clan that didn’t like them. Same with this turd; same exact thing.
If they had an ounce of civility, they would have been thankful, grateful for being allowed to escape their lot back at the dung hill. Instead, they see our actions as weakness, or they are just so full of hate…I dunno, but the result is we are thanked by having some good people shot in the back or knifed or whatever.
Maybe their mamas are incapable of gratitude, coming as they do from the dung hills of hard knocks. Get them the hell out of here.
You speak (write) of a man like Jalloh as though he were not named Mohamed. The name tells us why he doesn’t act rationally in our eyes. EVERY Muslim is indoctrinated into believing that we are worth nothing until we convert to Islam or submit to being slave-like. The Western world persists in looking upon Muslims as neighbours (Love thy neighbour) but Islam teaches them to let us sharpen the knife with which they will cut our throats.
This is exactly how we lose our country without a war. Too many Americans are tolerant of everything and anything. Americans are happy to pretend all is fine and there is endless money. Most don’t think of the country other than counting the number of days off they get. Notice how many Americans consider the Iran conflict to be needless. I have a brother (who claims to be a conservative Trump supporter) how we will lose this war and should not have attacked. This is a scary way to look at this situation, in my opinion.
Simply put, letting Iran get stronger and develop nuclear weapons seems like a very stupid way to handle this. I am 64 years old. I have lived my life and have one grown son and 15 nieces and nephews, who so far have 6 children. It is future generations I am concerned for.
Americans are too soft and have zero respect for our country. Just look at the Mayor of NY city…
I believe you’re right. Unfortunately. As a country we have lost the ability to be grateful for the liberty we enjoy. We are not only soft, we are spoiled rotten. And overly tolerant (as you’ve said) of things that should not be tolerated.
Let me guess. He was “on the FBI’s radar”.
Yep, another one that slipped through the cracks of Kash’s fingers.
They (FBI) needs to recalibrate their radar.
MSM headline: ” ISIS friendly former National Guard man dies from knife wounds while replacing deceased instructor in ROTC weapons class at Old Dominion University in Virginia.” /s
Politically expedient. Population be damned.

“… So Colonel Shah survived the century’s worthless unwon wars including “America’s longest war” – Operation Enduring Freedom (how’d that endure, by the way?) – only to come home and die at the hands of one of his “fellow Americans” screaming – go on, take a wild guess; yeah, bingo! – “Allahu Akbar!”
For reaction, we go now to rock-ribbed conservative Ted Cruz: “My approach to Immigration is simple. Legal? Good. Illegal? Bad.”
Alas, very few people are really “conservative”, which is why so little has been conserved – up to and including, ultimately, the continuing existence of the nation-states of the west. The killer of Brandon Shah checks all Senator Simpleton’s boxes – as, indeed, the killer of those poor Southport schoolgirls checks all Nigel Farage’s. Mohamed Jalloh emigrated from Sierra Leone and became a naturalised US citizen. An alumnus of Old Dominion, he subsequently joined the Virginia National Guard, so he’s not only a brother-in-arms of Colonel Shah but also one of those “seventy-two Virginians” we used to hear so much about.
Unfortunately, Mr Jalloh was “compelled to leave the US military” after he was discovered to be a big fan of Anwar al-Awlaki, the late “spiritual advisor” to the Fort Hood killer, three of the 9/11 hijackers and many others – oh, and also the author of the popular book Forty-Four Ways to Support Jihad. Mr Jalloh expressed his desire to pull off his own Fort Hood-style mass murder, and shared his admiration for the 2015 Chattanooga attack, when a gunperson killed four Marines and a sailor.
So the US military gave him an “honorable” discharge, rather than – as healthier societies would – a blindfold and cigarette. Like Ted says: “Legal? Good. Illegal? Bad.” The senator is, in my limited experience, a pleasant enough fellow, but an unserious man who will cost you your country.
Thus, the year after departing the National Guard – 2016 – the legal and good Honorable Mr Jalloh was arrested for attempting to provide material support to Isis. In 2017 the prosecution agreed a plea bargain and asked for twenty years – so that would be 2037, right? But the Bush-appointed judge sentenced him to eleven, plus five years “supervised release” – which would bring us to …2033, is it? Also he was ordered to participate in a “computer monitoring program”.
But Mr Jalloh was out in 2024 and fortunately the federal probation office that supervised his “supervised release” supervises with such a light touch that Mr Jalloh was free to stroll into Colonel Shah’s classroom and kill him. Even the “computer monitoring program” does not – surprise! – appear to have worked.
I don’t wish to pick on Mohamed Jalloh, for like Brutus he is an honourable man. But I do want to pick on all the Americans who served as his enablers. As I wrote on the first day of this new war:
Or, to put it another way, no nuclear mullah could do as much damage as three generations of western immigration policy. Just to underline the point, the Old Dominion case falls under the purview of another of those “seventy-two Virginians”, Commonwealth Attorney Ramin Fatehi – an Iranian name, by coincidence: I’m sure he’d be happy to return and join the massed ranks rising up and throwing off the ayatollahs if he weren’t too busy laying down the law in Norfolk. Yet, faced with an Isis groupie screaming “Allahu Akbar!” as he guns down a fellow American, Mr Fatehi could not resist adding grotesque insult to fatal injury [by blaming gun-owners]…”
Read it all.
Steyn doesn’t yet get what PDT is doing, but he’s spot on about this.
ps; Anwar al-Awlaki was Dirty Bob’s Hijacker Team Foreman and not an American as claimed.
Islamic terrorism, let’s call it what it is.
Until capital punishment is brought back into play, these incidents will continue to happen more frequently.
I’ll say it if no one else will:
Isslaam is incompatible with Western civilization, and cannot be allowed to grow inside the US.
There.
