When pressed on how long the U.S. military would remain focused on Iran, secretary of State Marco Rubio said as long as it takes. “The hardest hits are yet to come from the U.S. military. The next phase will be even more punishing on Iran than it is right now,” he told reporters at the U.S. Capitol.
“How long will it take? I don’t know how long it will take,” Rubio said. “We have objectives. We will do this as long as it takes to achieve those objectives.”
“We would love for there to be an Iran that’s not governed by radical Shia clerics,” he said heading into a classified briefing on Capitol Hill. “That’s not the objective.” … “The objectives of this operation are to destroy their ballistic missile capability and make sure they can’t rebuild it and make sure that they can’t hide behind that to have a nuclear program,” he said. “That’s the objective of the mission.” WATCH:
.

As MR has pointed out if Iran dealt a major blow to US interests they would pull him into congress and demanded to know why the US didn’t do anything about an attack they knew was coming.
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
A feature, not a flaw in Democrat TDS.
And he neutered a Communist talking-point, which I have heard repeated yesterday and today ad nauseam.
“There seems to be no clear objective!”
“TRUMP does not know what he is doing and has no objectives in his attacks!”
“What is the point, what is the objective of this war? Nobody knows, not even Trump (Sic!) has any idea!!”
As David Mamet pointed out, if you are a DEM/Communist, you must pretend not to have heard or to know many things!
Marco Rubio’s statement and President TRUMP’S own statements on the objectives will be ignored, however, so that the Communists can repeat their mendacious talking-point and keep claiming that President TRUMP is incompetent, senile, etc.
Perditio Semper Proditoribus!
They are scared to death of President Trump.
They are a pack of yapping Hyenas, big and bad until the Lion of the White House shows up, which causes them to scatter and yelp from a safe distance.
The State of the Union speech showed their cowardice.
They can not operate in the light, so they conspire in darkness.
I myself believe a couple of them have outright committed treason. Alas congress will do nothing to them because of the fear. They are paralyzed by fear and greed.
I believe the American citizens that love this country are almost to the breaking point with our worthless congress.
Sorry for the long winded rant.
Amen, and you were hardly loquacious in your comments: very succinct!
Whether Americans really are at the breaking point with “our worthless congress” will be discovered in November!
Ausonius,
It truly amazes me how so-called intelligent people don’t understand how government works. I attend a conservative meeting once a month and have been explaining to people how the Uniparty works. They are finally coming around especially after our Nov 2025 elections here in Chester County PA showed over 75K Independent/Other voter’s names weren’t on the voter rolls. This election had a yes/no question to determine whether 3 Pennsylvania Supreme Court justices would serve their second 10-year terms.
These scumbags were the justices who approved all the CHYNA virus restrictions and illegal “laws” that screwed over small business owners as well as those who can THINK for themselves.
WE are definitely at a breaking point and the Iran situation is just a necessary but tolerable distraction.
Many thanks for the information on what you are experiencing!
60 + years ago I made the following observation in high school:
“Republicans give Conservatives the rhetoric, but no action!”
Today I would amend that to RINOS, rather than Republicans!
The corruption is immense and has been immense for many decades: it will take a near revolution to defeat it.
President TRUMP has made a start, but we will need to be persistent for decades to come!
People, if they are even taught civics in high school these days, are taught how congress is supposed to work, how it used to work. As Sundance as laid out for us, our representatives no longer write bills, some corporate entity does in their favor. They no longer represent us but the corporate deep pockets are their boss.
So, don’t be too hard on them.
And, yes, I think many are at their breaking point.
They aren’t taught civics anymore. They don’t want citizens who understand how the system is supposed to work.
You mean, of course, how the uniparty doesn’t work (unless it involves enriching themselves).
Or sooner with the Primaries!
Primaries first, get rid of the RINOs and DeceptiCons right now before the Nov general.
Johnny, that was one of the shortest rants in CTH history….and to me it was a damn good one. It spoke the truth especially about the congress because it isn’t OUR congress anymore.
And oh yeah, they have committed treason/sedition.
“Complicated business”, says our VSGPDJT!
It is a democommunist media objective to encourage and conspire casualties on us. They want a stock market collapse, a surge in gas prices and soaring numbers of casualties. They must not allow this effort to succeed at any price. THAT’s who the real enemy is, American communist media.
That is possibly one of the shortest and best long winded rants…
The Dims are so blinded by TDS they’re irrational. One thing I’ve not heard discussed is the potential of Iran to acquiring nuclear weapons from another country. While its obvious Iran has the ability to produce launch and delivery vehicles, what’s stopping them, besides PDT, from acquiring nuclear warheads from sources other than their own development ?
What’s stopping anyone from giving nuclear warheads to anyone else? Probably treaties but more significantly, the threat of this American power raining down on them if they did something like it. Whomever gives a nuclear warhead would potentially be responsible for whatever happened with it.
you want to give a terrorist and rouge regime a warhead and let them do with it what they will?
ALL those other countries that have nuclear weapons already know what POYUS Trump will do to them personally and their family and their nation and their legacy! I would guess they have some good sense on that!
It’s shame they weren’t so concerned back when Iran was “dealing a major blow” to the Iraq regime change war.
Because they knew to buy defense stock and what defense contractors where getting the big bags of money to spread around congress.
Now, they are getting no inside info, and greed hounds are pissed.
Not damned if he did.
Praised by most.
Craven media wish-casting a trap for Rubio to give them an idea of when the kenetic action will end within an hour or two.
Rubio: Nope
Rubio, based on his performance as SOS, would be a better President then Vance. Also less political baggage apparently. At least he hasn’t changed his name like another created politician from Kenya
I suspect JD Vance will think long and hard, before putting his own young family into the WH pressure cooker in three more years.
But if Vance breaks up the tentacles of the Deep State as the current Fraud Tzar, we will truly be blessed with an embarrassment of riches from which to chose.
No worries, Vance is no threat to them. Hegseth is.
My observation about politicians for the past 35 years is that many are lazy except when it comes to prostituting themselves for campaign funds and lining their pockets.
Secretary Rubio is a remarkable and notable exception. The man has several vitally important jobs, any one of which would exhaust a high achieving adult professional. He has earned my respect; and he is real statesman, not another political appointee with stale ideas and little knowledge of how to get things done.
He is everything you say, and he has earned my respect also; but, he is not a natural born citizen so he cannot ever legally serve as president.
Despite your personal opinion, and mine, of Rubio, choosing a Constitutionally ineligible candidate would be a sure fire way to lose the presidency to another Democrat because I know a lot of MAGA people who will not cast a vote for anyone who is not a natural born citizen.
Re “Rubio, based on his performance as SOS, would be a better President then Vance.”
Regardless of any other qualifications Rubio has, he is not a natural born citizen. Therefore, he is prohibited by the U.S. Constitution from ever legally serving as president. If you don’t like them apples, arrange to have an amendment ratified that changes the current 250 year old presidential requirements. If you fail to succeed in doing that and continue promoting a Rubio presidency, you’re no better than all those demented anti-American liberals who placed Obama into the Oval office.
The U.S. Constitution went into effect on March 4, 1789, therefore on Wednesday it will be 237 years old.
I like these conversations – but our #1 concern needs to be not only winning but expanding the House n Senate in 2026 mid-terms. That said . . .
I thought PDJT was nuts when he selected Rubio as SOS.
I was completely wrong, from what I read and see – Rubio has exceeded my expectations tenfold.
Regarding Vance, the VP is supposed to be the silent partner. So much less in the spotlight. However, he has performed well also. His pointed speeches in the EU about their suppression of free speech were hard hitting.
If he excels as Fraud Czar w real taxpayer savings and his efforts lead to DOJ convictions. It’s going to be difficult to choose.
Bec their is a 3rd choice in the POTUS and VP slots – PDJT’s General Patton has been Tulsi Gabbard.
She has dodged the IC bullets and deflected the arrows from the moment she stepped into the DNI role.
Biden admin really screwed up when they put her on the TSA watch list.
The 4th branch of Gov’t truly sees Gabbard as a threat to their health and welfare.
I see DNI Tulsi Gabbard as a breath of fresh air in today’s environment!
I hope it’s a matter of her respecting her uniform, flag, rank and oaths so much more than politics!
Rubio is older and more experienced and demonstrates more depth. He also is a great communicator.
Why tell them anything. They can not even pass one law 75 percent of this country is begging for.
I would tell them, When you start representing American citizens and pass legislation good for the American people, we will talk.
Until then set down and shut up.
Aren’t they shut down or something like that?
This traditional frame of reference “the escalation trap” is silly, but they are so stuck in their neocon view they can’t see it.
You know how you avoid the trap? You just don’t play the game. You don’t try to control the outcome. You don’t present the end game objective.
Eventually, having killed or destroyed everything you want to see killed or destroyed, you simply withdraw – then demand terms. You don’t need to be there.
Tell the governing body, whoever that is, what you expect. Then hold them accountable.
If they refuse, bomb them again – select the refusers as new targets. Wash – Rinse – Repeat.
Again, pull back, await the governing authority to surface, tell them the expectations, if they balk, bomb them again…. pull back, await the next crew, tell them the expectations; if they balk, bomb them again…. then pull back.. etc. etc. etc.
Is there an escalation trap? No. You remain cold, hard, and ambivalent to their replies.
No one out there seems to grasp that this is a completely new frame of reference for exerting military force.
MENA is no longer a monolith. Thank the Abraham Accords for a new, far more strategic face in this part of the world. Iran still playing 7th century games with the Straights of Hormuz no longer cuts if in today’s MENA.
Talking head on MSM propaganda network… “Trust the experts”
LMAO
I am replying to your post because you have an audience here on the CTH.
So take it for what it worth and make it your own.
So here it is:
The problem with the legacy mass media is they love to hear the sound of their own voices.
Simple, visual and cuts to the chase on any number of eviscerating observations you so often make.
Literally is Hoo vol diplomacy. Have been arguing this since I left the military. Make all of these sons of biatches rue the day the green suit dudes show up – again.
Be clear, we’re killing everyone if you make us show up. When done, we’re going home and you’ll hate us having to come back. That’s avoiding the police state idiocy.
What the Curtis Lemay quote, you kill enough of them ,they will stop fighting.
“In this day and age, you cannot undertake any military task unless you have superiority in air power.
“I’ll tell you what war is about, you’ve got to kill people, and when you’ve killed enough they stop fighting.”
“Bombs Away” LeMay.
That’s fire baby !!!
Precisely what Peace Through Strength means in practical application form.
And they’ve all developed amnesia regarding the Iranian government’s behavior since the clerics captured the country.
They seem to think if a situation is in the Middle East, it must be like Iraq or Afghanistan. Iran is a whole different ball game. The Iranian culture is different and the governing clerics are apocalyptic zealots.
As Rush used to say, “The purpose of war is to kill people and break things until the other side gives up.” Missing Rush everyday…
Now that’s what I’m talking about !
A: “I’ll take How do you say “Art of the Deal” in Farsi, for $500, Alex.”
Gheeesh, who takes a dude with a bad dye job seriously about anything. His world view is equally distorted.
Sundance, that’s what Traders like myself, had to learn. I certainly paid my tuition fees finally accepting that I had to let the markets tell me the direction they’re going whether I agreed or not. Something politicians will never learn! If they have no control, then the game is up.
How many American live would have been spared had we followed this advice in Afghanistan?
And Iraq and Vietnam..
Korea
We were told, “ If you break it, you own it”. Hence our decades long forays into “ nation building”. No, the new rule is if you need to break it, you just break it. End of story, unless you have to go back and break it again. Until the morons with the broken toys get the message.
We’re going to be bombing Iran for the next 50 years, or until the Global American Empire collapses.
This is NEVER going to end.
I wrote it here when we bombed their nuke sites that it wouldn’t work. And that the only thing that had changed is that the USA’s unwillingness to bomb Iran had been removed as a yolk from future Presidents. The MIC is going to be soooo very happy…
You’re a genius. Remember, the president actually told them he’d come back, assuming he would have to. They aren’t gonna want any more.
Trump won’t be president forever. All that’s been accomplished is that future Presidents will be able to drop more bombs.
You haven’t paid attention, but that’s why you’re taking the default position.
See my reply to you above.
That’s just perfect!
I wrote a reply to hokkoda above and it was posted without review.
Now it is gone.
And so am I.
Bye bye cth
Yes, this is going be a huge stimulus for the MIC, no question, but bombing Iran for the next 50 years, nobody knows that … what we do know is the here and now. To me the big wildcards “this time” are real support from KSA and not letting the cia install the next control agent. Not saying its going to be easy or workout that way but I pray to God that it does.
The Iraq no fly zone lasted 13 years.
Look who ran it.
If you don’t want to be here just leave. You’re giving us all a headache. You’re like the kid in the grocery store throwing a tantrum . And we are everyone around hoping your parent smacks you upside the head .
Want to avoid headaches? Just scroll right past his/her comments. You have a right to do that. You do not have a right to invite another poster to leave just because you take exception to an opposing viewpoint.
No but they do have a right to express disapproval, and displeasure in the mind numbing whining that is basically a Socialist Democrat strategy.
I guess the axion of repeating a lie over and over again never got to some of these people here.
According to whose rules? Yours? I thought Sundance was in charge here.
While I understand your frustration with hokkoda, the best remedy is to hit him with facts.
He has been a good contributor at times IIRC.
He will see the light when this all works out.
While we left Vietnam, we never went back there and bombed them. I cannot foresee us bombing them again and after Iran starts their own peaceful government, there will be no need to go back to them with force.
Sundance hit the nail on the head with his explanation; if the regime has other heads, they will be removed until there are no more people from the old regime who want to become a martyr.
The new government won’t happen overnight, but it will start taking shape within months.
If I were an Iranian in Iran right now, I would be ready to fight the soon to be former regime to get my country back and I believe most able bodied men in Iran feel the same and will do their part at the local level.
Maybe we have to more ruthless and target more than just military facilities like mosques, electric and water utilities and major civilian manufacturing plants.
If you take out the religious leadership then Iran won’t have a religious leader!
I’ve read your comments over the last couple of days, and I honestly can’t believe you haven’t yet choked to death on that black pill you’ve swallowed.
In Hokkoda’s defense, he is projecting the black pill doom and gloom since he has a close relative on active duty. I am not sure if said relative is taking part in this particular operation. Hokkoda held the same view during Midnight Hammer last summer.
We’re doomed! DOOMED!!!!!
There is a HUGE difference in taking out the uranium enrichment facilities and taking out the Navy, the ballistic missile sites countywide, and the top leaders all being killed.
I believe the Midnight Hammer campaign which took out the above mentioned uranium enrichment facilities was a bit of a ‘Show and tell’ to let the leaders know Trump was serious about NO Nukes for Iran so the US would have the high ground in negotiations later.
By not negotiating in good faith and acquiescing in negotiations, the regime brought the bombs and cruise missiles upon their own heads.
The Iranian people recently suffered 30,000+ protestors being killed by the regime which they already hated.
The Iranians celebrated the death of the leaders in the streets of Iran and indeed worldwide. They will take up the battle to create their own government.
We have eyes and ears in Iran relaying what is happening on the ground. The bombings will continue until no one wants to be a leader of the old regime. And then the people of Iran will form their own governing body and Iran will become a peaceful nation, no longer supplying proxy terrorist groups with money and weaponry.
This will be a key turning point in the process of bringing (more) peace to the Middle East.
Yes there will be other issues with other countries not getting along with each other, but this was the biggest problem in the Middle East and within weeks or months of the unleashing of Epic Fury, the results will be tangible as the Iranians start their own peaceful government.
How about this? We gave them a chance as a country to stop what the hell they were doing. If they didn’t get the President was damn serious, because he has said it enough, I have zero sympathy for them.
And if people like you don’t get that this is geopolitical and to box in Russia and China, specifically you are not getting the big picture. Sorry, if it gets messy getting there because no president has had the balls Trump has.
China has to be stopped and Iran is supplying them with what they need. Also, drones for Russia. This checks off a hell of a lot of boxes.
Yes! Yes! Yes! Wash, rinse and repeat. Well said! There is no need for the US to be involved in nation building or even rebuilding. They are dealing decisively with a threat to US security. No excuses and no apologies and no distractions. This is the way to do it.
Now many may see the benefit of President Trump developing better relations with the ME…the entire neighborhood was invited and came to the BBQ, except evil Iran, who got many, many warnings.
They all think of long term wars with no wining and no end. The tariffs will fail and raise prices. You cannot drill your way out of this. You have to have a service economy going forward. President Trump and Sundance appear as some kind of mystical thinkers to this crowd of retards.
They get validity from ties to the loony university world.
Sundance…well said
Dang , that gives me goosebumps
This is from the blinkered, blindered mindset of nation-building that globalists have. “Build Back Better” is HARDWIRED in their brain stems, along with all their other autonomic functions. This professor uses nation-building assumptions in his modeling. He can’t even conceive of Trump just taking out Iran’s weapons capabilities. “But my model has so many more things in it!”….yeah, like car manufacturers, mandatory options of overly complicated accessories that you never fix when they break because you can drive the car just fine without it.
Yeah, we’ll just sit back and let Iran assassinate our President.
The Democrats are trying to surrender to Iran while the neocons want to use it as a prelude to WWIII. All of us normal people are in the middle.
The pontificating idiots are stuck in the ridiculous narratives they tell themselves.
Leave it to pointy – headed academicians…
To date, Marco Rubio has been a revelation in his role as Secretary of State!
I liked this. It’s so typical of the Trump administration and its excellent communications. No word salads. No theatre. No virtue signalling or emotionalism. Just this is our objective and this is what we will do and why we are doing it. Bravo!
It was also made very clear that regime change is not the objective. It is a hoped for result but that depends on the Iranians. This means it will not be a forever war.
I liked this.
Are you really not missing those wonderful phrases, like “We are unburdening Iran from what was before so that it is after what it was, because we love freedom for all people, even those people who live in countries that are different from other countries.”
More seriously, Marco projects competence, and communicates clearly. Very good attributes.
😂 😂 😂
Secretary Rubio withdrew from a re-election bid to the Senate, and then had second thoughts. I remember this well. I saw not impressed with him at that time and so rolled my eyes. Just another politician.
President Trump saw something in him so that he was nominated for Secretary of State.
But Almighty God saw it first.
I was a doubter of his fitness for the role…and another eye roll, accompanied by a heavy sigh.
And so now it gives me great pleasure to say about this man who speaks so well and diplomatically, whose every word is measured, who professes his profound faith so often and with certainty, I was wrong…
So wrong…
God bless Marco Rubio 🙏🏻🇺🇸
You don’t stand alone with your thoughts on Rubio !
I would definitely love to see Rubio as the the next president ! I think he’d be great .
I as well, but he is not a naturalized citizen and is not eligible. 😕
His strength and conviction are from God it seems, so calm during the storms as God is guiding him.
A leader inspired by God.
How fortunate for us that President Trump could see what we couldn’t.
Yes, we thought the same. So glad to be wrong sometimes!
Trump required video production tapes from all his cabinet candidates, with good cause. We have a cast of stars surrounding this entire administration. Each can more than hold their own with the rabid TDS “media”.
The fact Trump shares the camera with all of them, is a testament to his sincere MAGA intents. Love seeing all the “jounalists” smug gotcha questions crammed right back down their own throats.
Well said, Betsy!
Lord give us this man for our next president, even though we don’t necessarily deserve it. Such clarity, honesty and strength. His efforts are lifting this entire nation.
Thank you for giving us hope for a better future.Amen
Marco Rubio has for me, been the absolute best and most pleasant surprise of all Cabinet picks. Tulsi Gabbard and Pete Hegseth tied for 2nd. 👍❤️
Scott Bessent deserves to be on that list!
and so does RFK………..Our health is first and foremost.
Exactly, Betsy!
I went through the same thought processes.
We are blessed to have him.
As long as the Mullahs are in charge, Iran will be an Existential Threat to Israel and America.
The saddest thing to me is, had President Biden taken out the entire leadership with a smartly placed bomb, Democrats would declare that an act of Holy Communion itself.
But, Trump …Baaaaad!
…so Nessie…real existential Threat to America is not anymore Bolshevik ,godless ,unpatriotic judges and most of the CONgre$$ Nessie…but Mullahs.???
The Commies, Cartels, Jihadis, and AI are all coming to annihilate us.
The operating principle of the sufferers of TBGADS – it’s only bad when Trump does it.
We are not destroying a people, a country; or even a religion, we are destroying a capacity.
Fair enough, when talk-talk did not work.
Anyone who’s ever raised chickens will fully appreciate this.
Whenever we introduce a new flock into the old flock, the Chickens go through a pecking order that can get pretty bloody.
We as humans are no different than animals. President Ttrump has rearranged the Pecking order all over the world, lol, and it’s kinda a funny to watch it unfold.
Western Europe is discovering they are pretty low in the new pecking order.
All the chickens came home to roost? (tongue firmly in cheek)
(we introduce our new additions by night which confuses some as to who is new and who is not. Still, the feathers fly for a few days.)
Most of Iranian oil goes to China and EU, so a definite squeezing of the pecking order.
Nice to hear it succinctly put.
No BS. No spin. Simply tell the truth.
How very refreshing!
My admiration for Rubio continues to grow.
Interesting take on drone warfare, etc.:
Trump: “The Big Wave” of Attacks on the Islamic Regime Occupying Iran Hasn’t Even Started Yet Speculation: The “Ground Forces” Phase of This War May Be Fought Entirely With Drone Hunter-Killers– link: Ace of Spades HQ:
“… After all of Iran’s air capabilities and ballistic missiles are taken out, I imagine the war will then turn to killing the Revolutionary Guard and the riot police and the remaining thugs.
Now, I had thought that there was no way to win a war without ground forces. I didn’t envision the US or Israel sending ground forces. I imagined that we would have to start air-dropping in tons of guns, grenades, and encrypted radios so that the population could arm itself in preparation for street fighting.
They may still do that.
But there might also be a way to fight ground forces… with air power.
In the Ukraine, drones have proven to be the most deadly weapon in the war. It’s the new artillery. Artillery, historically, had been the part of the military that actually killed the most enemy forces.
But instead of lobbing huge shells, the new drone warfare consists of using $10,000 to $40,000 drones to carry grenades and repurposed landmines directly over vehicles and groups of enemy soldiers, and then dropping that small munition with pinpoint accuracy. If you’re extreme accurate, you can kill a lot of people with a tiny amount of explosives. (If you’re inaccurate, you need to drop huge bombs with a huge blast radius.)
I saw one drone attack in Ukraine in which the drone dropped a landmine through the open sunroof of a Russian SUV, killing all four people in the vehicle. Drones routinely drop grenades on soldiers taking cover behind walls or in ditches. You can’t take cover from them. They have changed the geometry of the battlefield.
Over the weekend, Iranian “Riot Police” — thugs and torturers, in other words — rode their motorcycles into the city to attempt to reclaim it from protesters.
Had they made it to the protesters, they would have slaughtered them.
But they were attacked by a drone…
So is this the Trump/Israeli warplan? First take out all strategic threats with missiles and heavy bombs, and then shift to a tactical counter-infantry war by just killing every Regime enforcer they see with drones?
I think it must be.
Iran has thousands of drones. Those are knock-offs of more expensive American drones.
But Pete Hegseth — who I was assured was an incompetent drunk and meathead — did something clever. He ordered up new drone designs which are knock-offs of the Iranian knock-offs of the American originals — and the new knock-offs are half as expensive as the Iran-made knock-offs.
They only cost $35,000 each. We can flood the country with thousands of these Hunter-Killer Terminators without any Americans being exposed to enemy fire.”
Update:
Those Shahed style drones are not suitable for targeting personnel. They are meant for fixed targets. Enter the GPS coordinates and send them off on their own.— Serious Cat
Ah maybe, yes, I guess these particular drones are “kamikaze drones,” which fly into their target and blow up. But I imagine we have a lot of the kind they use in Ukraine for anti-personnel missions. Those are store-bought commercial drones lightly modified for military use. They cost like $5,000. ” ……..
Just a thought/question: How small have the best strategic drones become? Bird size? Bee size?
Let me tell ya bout the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees…
Let me tell ya bout the stars in the sky and a girl and a guy…
… “Iranian ‘Riot Police'”… The Basij:
“The Basij (Persian: بسيج, lit. ’Mobilization’), formally Sâzmân-e Basij-e Mostaz’afin (سازمان بسیج مستضعفین, ‘Organization for Mobilization of the Oppressed’),[ is a paramilitary volunteer militia within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and one of its five branches. An individual member is called basiji in the Persian language. As of July 2019, Gholamreza Soleimani is the commander of the Basij.
Established in Iran in 1979 by order of Ayatollah Khomeini, leader of the Iranian Revolution, the organization originally consisted of civilian volunteers, often from poor, tribal, rural backgrounds affected by post-Revolution economic and geopolitical issues, who were urged by Khomeini to fight in the Iran–Iraq War. Khomeini would occasionally refer to Basij as ‘The Twenty Million Army’, claiming that about 75% of the time’s population are Basijis. He would elaborate, saying that a country with 20 million of its people as their army will be undefeatable. Basij was an independent organization until 17 February 1981, when it was officially incorporated into the Revolutionary Guards organization structure by the Iranian Parliament in order to end the interservice rivalry between the two, according to Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.
Today, the force consists of young Iranians, a significant portion drawn from the traditionally Shia cleric religious and politically loyalist parts of Iran’s society, who volunteer, often in exchange for official benefits. With branches in ‘virtually every’ city and town in Iran, the Basij serve as an auxiliary force engaged in enforcing state control over society, acting as a morality police at checkpoints and parks, and suppressing dissident gathering, as well as serving as law enforcement auxiliary, providing social services, organizing public religious ceremonies. The force was often present and reacting to the widespread 2009 Iranian election protests, 2017–18 Iranian protests, and the 2022–2023 Mahsa Amini protests. The Basij are subordinate to and receive their orders from the IRGC and the Supreme Leader of Iran. They are said to be ‘tightly affiliate’ with the Islamic Republic’s ‘hardline’ political faction, and ‘routinely’ praised by the Supreme Leader, but also called a ‘profound source of disquiet and rancor’ among the general public in Iran. Following Operation Midnight Hammer, Basij forces has significantly increased its urban patrols, especially at night to ‘ensure security’.
As part of the IRGC’s sphere, the Basij are indirectly designated as a terrorist organization by the governments of the United States, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. The Basij has been frequently implicated in human rights violations, including torture, rape and sexual violence, enforcing sharia law on citizens such as the mandatory wearing of the hijab.”
It is said that the Basij has 600K members available for immediate call – up with up to 25 million held in reserve. Shades of the Achaemenid Persian Empire’s “Immortals”.
Interesting video from Susan Kokinda of Promethian Action about the British aspect of all this.
She says the UK denied assistance to the US in this operation and the Europeans publicized their absence from it.
She implies it is the beginning of the end of the “special relationship” between UK and USA. Or maybe the middle of the end.
Interesting comments on “nation-building.” Says the chatter is from parties who are perennially used to nation building, continue to mess things up for us, and aren’t in on it this time.
Great history for us to better understand Iran and a concrete example of how the globalists operate. Well worth the time to watch.
Just what I was going to write!
Thank you Ad rem for presenting a revelation that is breathtaking in its understanding of the City of London as the overseer of global finance, through money laundering and all manner of unsavory
dealing in drugs and every other mechanism to acquire global wealth and its role in Iran.
I am a new subscriber to Promethean Action.
Totally AMAZING information!
THANK YOU!
BLESSINGS everyone!
Ad Rem,
Thank you for posting this timely and important Promethian Action video.
I’ve been tuning into their fight for nearly a year and learned much about the dark side of U.K., and definitely recommend to every Treeper to give them an ear as just about everything the studious ladies present help tremendously to grasp the BIG picture of the nastiness of not only the British government, but also the E.U. in general.
You have perfect timing on this one. Kudos to you.
Been watching a lot of their videos lately. They introduce a lot pf very interesting information on the Brits’ role in most of the mayhem we’ve experienced.
impressive……….
Considering the origins of Promethian Action in the Larouche movement 50 years ago, I’ve been very skeptical about them. But doggone it, everything these current folks have said rings true.
They definitely have been forthright in their support of Donald Trump.
Certainly more than your average Republican in Congress.
I’m skeptical, too, because they always harp on the Brits. However, I saw today that Lloyd’s of London started canceling shipping insurance through the Straits of Hormuz stranding about 150 ships. That’s a pretty unusual move.
If you know anything about Lloyd’s, then you know that they use MI6 intel to price risk for their contracts. Why wouldn’t they just reprice those contracts instead of canceling them? Perhaps MI6 didn’t have the intel in advance of the US’s action. I find that extremely hard to believe. Even if we didn’t tell them, you’d have to be blind or a moron not to see what was coming with the buildup in theater over the last month.
Or, is the UK trying to stab US in the back by throttling the flow of oil through the strait, causing economic turmoil in World energy markets while we’re in the middle of Epic Fury? I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but I wouldn’t put it past the Brits to do something like that.
wow, BOLTON back in good graces as well. crazy world…
I didn’t really see that he was back in good graces. With whom is he in good graces? The media? Britain? Deep state? WEF?
Certainly not in good graces with PDJT or his administration
they must be soooo happy with ms.linda….and ms.chenney…
From the earlier thread on Epic Fury:
My take on the Iranian attacking everybody is they are in a ‘use it or lose it mode’. I also agree with the one commenter who noted the Gulf states were running low on countermeasures in that the Iranian leaders hope they can inflict enough damage to cause states dependent on Gulf Oil to try to pressure the US into stopping the attacks.
The use it or lose it problem becomes that once a rocket or drone is launched Israel or the US know from where.
Wouldn’t peace be immediate if technology was available to reprogram a weapon to do a 180 while inflight and head back to where it came from?
That would be the epitome of turning spears into pruning hooks (so to speak).
Just thinking out loud.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good one.
These are even better, and pro MAGA than the old Bernie Memes!
I don’t know…
These memes seem disrespectful.
‘as long as it takes,’ sounds kind of familiar
We have fighting for this country solidly since 2016. I think we can give President Trump a couple of weeks.
Or five, according to what he himself said at a news conference.
Amen
it may will be untill 11/08/2028….
I wish he would have mentioned that “we would not want to brief all 535 members of congress. I think you cAn figure that out, as to why.”
I’ve always suspected that many sitting members of Congress couldn’t pass a simple OPM background check and suitability determination required for many government positions.
Markets barely moved. So sad🤣💋
Europe on the other hand🤣💋
In January 2026, Teheran was desperately running out of drinking water. This was blamed on “climate change”.
Now we know they were draining their own municipal water supplies for their own people, just to enrich uranium so they could wipe Israel off the face of the earth.
Correct call, destroy this country’s capacity for evil and salt the earth so this evil does not rise up again, in this beautiful but troubled land. of Iran Trump is Scipio to Iran’s Hannibal.
Great comment
Eventually someone will get around to mentioning the hundreds of thousands of Iranian ex-pats around the world who are educated, skilled, successful, and some who are wealthy. Betting that there will be a call for these people to return and rebuild the New Iran. A call like that for Afghanistan couldn’t go out because no one like that exists.
Trump Tower Gaza shall be safe from 9/11 type mayhem!
if there is one thing a muslim knows how to do, its forgive and forget the moment a conflict ends…
but they never forget what they forgive….
Sometimes I wonder whether or not members of the press and Congress are oblivious to their own ignorance and stupidity. The next question to any member of the administration that begins with “How long….” should be answered, “As long as it takes to achieve our objectives, you dumbass.”
An interesting take today about why the leftist are losing their minds on PDJT attacking Iran. There goes all their money that was supporting all the radical leftist’s anti-American agendas. Yes, Iran was supporting them with massive amounts of money.
“Your choice is simple: Join us and live in peace, or pursue your present course and face obliteration.”
Klaatu (backed up by Gort ) had it right!
(For those of you under 70, the movie is The Day the Earth Stood Still, with the excellent actor Michael Rennie (above), with Patricia Neal, Sam Jaffe, and (the under-rated) Hugh Marlowe.
Wonderful musical score – first use of a Theremin in a movie – by the great composer Bernard Herrmann! )
“Gort, Klaatu barada nikto!”
The President
“The Radical Left Democrats, a Party that has completely lost its way, are complaining bitterly about the very necessary and important attack, by the United States and Israel, on Iran.
What most people understand is that they are only complaining BECAUSE I DID IT and, if I didn’t do it, they would be screaming — Why didn’t “TRUMP” attack Iran, he should do it, IMMEDIATELY?
There’s nothing surprising about this!
It’s the same people that the other night at The State of the Union Address wouldn’t stand for ANYBODY, including a mother who lost her beautiful daughter to an illegal alien, a Great and Brave Helicopter Pilot, who got the Congressional Medal of Honor, or a 100-year-old Veteran Warrior whose Bravery is Legend!
The fact is, whatever I do, they will be on the opposite side.
These people are SICK, CRAZY, and DEMENTED, but America, despite them all, is now BIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE.
MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
President DONALD J. TRUMP”

Val1, we can pray that more and more people start noticing what you are seeing clearly. And acting on it.
Go Marco, go.
What a disgusting spectacle by the lamestream media jackals, who are doing the bidding of their islamist soulmates.
The vast majority of these jackals would be beheaded or thrown off of a skyscraper if they lived in a country controlled by the ayatollaholes.
Did the “reporters” begin wailing and crying?
…as long as it takes???
Until Iran complies.
Iran is the last road block that won’t accept the Central Bank monetary system Digital Currency. Everyone needs to be on board before we can have a One World Government/Financial system. …..again, for as long as it takes?? So, yeah bomb them into compliance or put someone (regime change) in that will comply.
This just might be 5he most deluded analysis yet 😎
BEST Sec of State ever!
He’s definitely presidential material.
There is more going on then just taking out the mullahs. By neutralizing Iran Trump has neutralized 2/3 of China’s oil supply chain. China gets their oil from Venezuela, Iran and Russia. 2/3 of that is now gone and one doubts Russia can fill the gap due to their war with Ukraine. China’s industry just became a crippled mess that compounds the economic malaise they already are in. Taiwan newspapers are reporting that China was in deep with the Iranian clerics, so deep that the Persians aka Iranian citizens hate the Chinese and those Chinese still in Iran are paying a fortune to get out. To make matters worse for China I’d bet they were able to buy oil from Venezuela and Iran using the Yuan so oil was cheap. Now with those two countries neutralized they will have to buy oil on the open marker i.e. OPEC, which means they will have to pay with petrodollars not Yuan. The cost of oil for them just increased by a factor of 6 2/3 given the current exchange rate 0.15 yuan per 1.00 US dollar.
For communists, democrats and RINOs sayin Trump should have brought this before Congress an Obama flashback:
Uh oh… Nancy Pelosi herself stating Obama didn’t need congressional authorization for strikes.
Wake up to the left’s games. This is the color revolution playing out right now. This is the narrative warfare. The left is attempting to control the narrative to sow more division and confusion, to encourage “non violent” protests, and foment the color revolution.

Thank you, Sundance. Appreciate all the information.
This is a side of Marco that I’ve seen before but this time he seems more “robust” than ever. I think my previous Lil’ Marco remarks during President Trump’s last campaign have been extinguished and I’m happy to see him put his big boy pants on.
From Europe to Venezuela to Iran he has been a rock explaining IN ENGLISH what President Trump’s objectives are regarding the issues at hand.
Like he said, he has seen both sides of the demonic thing called the Gang of Eight and I loved when he told the Presstitutes that “No President has accepted the “War Powers Act” as CONSTITUTIONAL. HARD STOP!” Ok, I put the hard stop in there.
Let our brave soldiers (with help from our real Allies, which ain’t Grit Brit) to continue to eradicate the enemy known as Islam and keep them in GOD’s protection as they are fighting against His nemesis…..and ours.
Good grief—He had to tell them over and over what the objectives were like a bunch of 1st graders. I don’t think that even 1st graders are that stupid.
Direct communication is welcome, but, to be honest, I haven’t heard from anybody what the actual plan is…. other than “freedom-loving Iranians rising up and taking their country back”. You can avoid long-term involvement, Forever Wars, and all that (though I’m not convinced there aren’t many salivating over the… uh… opportunity). But I’m also not seeing any real push by anyone, anywhere to actually put a firm political stake in the ground in the early days, even after the death of the Supreme Leader himself. And this is a country which, apparently, has no problem taking to the streets in protest at the risk of imprisonment, torture, death, or all of the above. Maybe “this time” will be different, but there’s a tidal wave of opposition against real change coming from within… power vacuum, ISIS, Al Qaeda, Pakistan, etc. etc. The track record on these deals is poor, at best.
Too early to talk “Exit Plan”? Nope… never too early to talk Exit Plan…
“Will Iranians Rise Up? Here Are the Odds.”

[…]
For starters, [the Iran/foreign policy folks] told me, aerial bombing campaigns have a terrible record at fomenting regime change in any state [recent history supports this]. Second, Iran has powerful repressive organs with a lot of experience in putting down popular unrest. In addition, Iran’s bureaucracy has been expecting — and preparing for — American attacks for generations. And even if Washington does successfully fracture or defang the Islamic Republic, exhausted and shocked Iranians may be too frightened or focused on survival to flood the streets. The country’s political opposition remains weak, and it is famously fragmented.
Iranians, of course, do desperately want a better future, and they have been willing to protest under very difficult conditions. For an autocracy, the country has high levels of civic engagement. It is therefore possible that Iranians will succeed where other populations haven’t. But history suggests most of the country’s people will not heed Trump’s call, and that even if they do, they will have a hard time winning.
Pay particular attention to those last seven words…
It’s nice when somebody rises to the moment and puts Country First, like others only talked about.
Lets go Marco, here we go. Lets go Marco, here we go!
Go Marco go! What a pleasant surprise this Sec of State has been!
“As long as it takes” . . . plus the Secretary of Defense won’t say “no boots on the ground” and Senator Tom Cotton says only
“no largescale boots on the ground” . . . .
which suggests that the plan is a land invasion. Or at least, this is what Israel wants.
It might also be necessary because a destabilized Iran could lead to terror attacks throughout the region, disrupting oil.
It will also lead to a muslim refugee crisis into Europe and into the United States.
I’m surprised how many Iranians are already in the United States. There will be many more if Iran is destabilized.
The idea that we can blow up the country, then back off and say “fend for yourselves now” . . . won’t work.
There is a huge Shia population in Saudi Arabia and in other gulf states, that have always been on the verge of civil war in those nations.
Tucker Carlson is saying we did this for Israel, and that is indeed the common sense answer.
https://x.com/TuckerCarlson/status/2028566419277811797
It’s also what Rubio is saying, that Israel forced our hand.
In essence, you would rather have a nuke armed Iran than a “destabilized” Iran.
Delusional.
The Shia population in Saudi is around 10%. Do you lie to yourself just to make a point.
.
So, Iranians will be, what, jumping on boats to get to the United States? Do some of you read what you post before you hit post? And do you think Iranians in the US are more stable than what Joe Biden allowed in for the last 4 years. Please listen to the Iranians they speak to in this country.
I can’t believe I am saying this, but I always liked Tucker and now he is as bad as that clown Dave Smith.
Yes, this is the right approach. It is much better to destroy the archer on the ground than to have to attack his arrows in the air.
The Hidden Spiritual Battle Over America’s Future | Jonathan Cahn
History repeats itself! Trump was anointed by GOD During the assassination attempt!
Having Iran not run by evil whack-job shia clerics is not the wink–wink “objective”…………OK it’s the solution.
I hear a lot of bleating about unleashing a nuclear war in the Middle East by the usual suspects. I find those claims quite baffling. Aren’t these the same usual suspects who were assuring everyone that Iran had absolutely no intention of developing nuclear weapons? That all Iran wanted to do was to provide power for its citizens?
President Trump has constantly said he’s against endless wars. And you know what…he is ending a 47 year war that Iran has waged against the USA. God Bless our soldiers in harms way and God Bless PDJT.
Cutting off the heads of the serpents in Venezuela and Iran literally confounds the plans of China and puts its Belt and Road strategy in a ditch. Great geopolitical move. Now let’s concentrate on the serpents at home.
Secretary Rubio said regime change is not our objective in Iran. Our objective is threat mitigation, done by blowing up Irans military assets. Yes, we can justify that under our laws.
However, our main partner in this war, Israel, is doing regime change. They are the ones who cut the head off the snake, in the initial strike that decapitated the Islamic Republic regime. They have no objection to regime change.
We are not necessarily going to have boots on the ground. But Israel already has boots on the ground in Iran, and has had Mossad there mixing with the people for months, even before the 12 day war last June. Israel is working in partnership with the Iranian people.
Our State Department resists working with Royals, has for decades, and the Post-British Empire Middle East resembles that fact. We work with secular leaders. But the Israelis have no such prohibition, so they are working with the Crown Prince to replace the government in Iran.
We have never been able to impose democracy or a republican government on another nation, because we always try to impose it top down. We choose a leader, then bring in our agents and corporations. It never works. Democratic republics are established from the bottom up, starting with local councils, regional assemblies, finally national congresses, then the president is the final thing done, not the first. The people learn how democracy works by participation and experience, not having authorities impose order.
It looks to me, that when we withdraw from bombing Iranian military targets, Israel will still be there, and they will provide security for the interim government. Fine.
The most disturbing thing to me is the sideshow going on here, that some previously called conservative in the U.S. are complaining about Israel giving orders to the U.S., supposedly leading our president around by the nose. These people are being called the “anti-semitic right.” And they are wrong. The United States and Israel are allies. Why? Because our two nations have common values and aspirations. Mainly we desire peace, and we are ready to pay the price to have it.
