It should not come as a surprise to see the Senator who lost her 2010 primary, then refused to leave congress and ran as a write in candidate; then supported changing the state voting system to a ranked choice structure; who then lost again in 2022 but ultimately won because Democrats all listed her as their second choice in the new structure; come out against anything that would lead to stronger voting requirements.
Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski has now pledged to vote against the SAVE Act. The SAVE Act would bar states from registering a person to vote unless they provide documents or evidence proving U.S. citizenship. It would also require all Americans to present ID when they go to vote. The SAVE Act is supported by President Trump and strongly opposed by GOPe members of the UniParty.
WASHINGTON — Sen. Lisa Murkowski became the first Republican senator to speak out against the SAVE Act, a sweeping election bill backed by President Donald Trump that would require proof of citizenship to vote nationwide.
In doing so, the Alaskan reminded her colleagues on Tuesday that they roundly claimed to oppose new federal election laws as recently as Joe Biden’s presidency.
“When Democrats attempted to advance sweeping election reform legislation in 2021, Republicans were unanimous in opposition because it would have federalized elections, something we have long opposed,” Murkowski said in a statement. “Now, I’m seeing proposals such as the SAVE Act and MEGA that would effectively do just that. Once again, I do not support these efforts.” (read more)
Also, to drive home the point, don’t forget!👇

Great photograph of a sorry RINO. I am not aware of Anti ICE nor ANTIFA having a strong presence in Alaska. I guess she just hates America.
Murkowski hasn’t been to Alaska for years.
I am 100% behind the Voter IDENTIFICATION. I have to show my photo identification to get into federal, state and municipal buildings, TSA to fly on all the airlines, state, federal, municipal police, United States Marshals who ask to see my drivers license, United States customs, passport. You held your hand up to uphold the Constitution and to represent all of us hardworking taxpayers and you are not doing your job. Two Term Limits for all Representatives, Senators, municipal representatives and Senators just like the President.
I would like an opinion on this article which gives an opposing view of The Save Act. Now, I’m not sure if I am for or against it.
Does Sundance or anyone else have an opinion as to whether any of the points given in the article are valid ones? It comes from an contributor to the site News With Views .com Thanks if anyone has an opinion on this

Insufferable.
I had to Google Save Act, because I didn’t know the details. It sounds like the same requirements are needed to prove citizenship as the REAL ID. This won’t just affect illegal aliens but also citizens. I’m all for showing ID when you vote. But the SAVE Act is merely a ruse to get every citizen to sign up and prove who you are to the federal government. Eventually it will be passed on to a global ID. I’m resisting the REAL ID until they require it before they send my SSN. If they wanted to fix the elections, they would get rid of the electronic machines and have 1 day to vote and clamp down on early voting. The SAVE Act is a ruse. I despise when I agree with with the RiNO, but their reason to vote no is purely political and not based on values.
A passport is acceptable ID for Voter ID
A true RINO’s RINO. 🤦♀️
Senator Murkowski should be willing to be held to the same identification standard her home state, Alaska, uses to determine who exactly qualifies for, and receives, the annual cash dividend paid to all Alaskans from the Alaska State Oil Fund. I would imagine some form of ID must be presented. And since the state is paying out money, my bet is those ID rolls are exact and current.
I remember when I stopped listening to Mark Levin’s show. The night he had Tim Scott on, beforehand Levin railed against his record, then magically, he handled Scott with kid gloves, never bringing up any of the points he had been raging against. It was then, that I absolutely knew that Levin was completely full of $h,t.
Tim Scott certainly has shifted. Gotta love the guy for all that we know he must have gone through. Unfortunately, he is not on the “winning” side, lining up with Senator Murkowski. She defines what it means to be a devious power monger….at least from where her constituents like me sit in Alaska. What Sundance lined out is absolutely true. She weaseled her way around and through to get elected as though she represented the epitome of what the Alaskans voted for. Not so. Alaska is pro President Trump and we were appalled when we woke up to find her in office. How did this happen? we wondered. Then we had to experience the terrible display of two vengeful women (Collins of Maine and murky Murkowski of Alaska) fawning over President Biden and getting what they wanted. He used them for his purposes but they weren’t his type.
She wants to make her brand of voting the legal way because it worked so well for her. The ranked choice system is a completely faulty approach to fair and accurate voting . It tricks constituents who pay taxes to vote in such a way that they don’t get what what they voted for.
In 2021, Tim Scott said, “We are in a time of great consequence, the greatest in several generations. This is a political street fight to save the nation.. Those who demand we “we wait for referees” while team USA gets beaten senseless are, quite frankly, worse than useless. They are on the other side.” –Compliments of the excellent reporting of Sundance.
So sorry you went to the other side, Tim. You must have a lot to lose personally or I don’t think you would. On the other hand, many builders of this nation had a lot to lose and they stood for the Republic anyway. I’d love to see that endorsement taken down but it’s probably too late.
