What a shift in attitude since the Bush days. Scott would never have been allowed near the WH with his ‘lifestyle’. I guess moving towards the left in that dept proved to benefit us as a movement. Rick Grenell nor Bessent made it about gay political victories, just about American victories
If all homosexuals, both men and women, presented as normal people and kept their personal lives where they belonged like most people do, in the background, I don’t think anyone would think twice about them. I’m not saying people, especially Christians, would approve but the tolerance level would be much higher because it is not being shoved down our throat and sold to kids as normative.
Turn on a so called talk show or news media and they have a big story or 2 or 3 about transgender; homosexual or whatever the flavor of the week is. Stop with the public outing of things regarding sexual preference. Yes, I agree. Keep you personal life private and make it public only when a person or group is guilty of something terrible happening.

I agree with Bessent that the Supreme Court would be harming the American people if they rule against Trump’s emergency powers to apply tariffs. Whether the tariffs are an emergency or not is a question of fact, not a question of law. Therefore, the SCOTUS has nothing to add to the discussion.

Seems like SCOTUS is slow-rolling hearing the case, which seems like a good compromise all around.

But what about ALL the jobs lost due to corporations outsourcing jobs and hiring H1B visa holders. They are taking more and more and more jobs away from AMERICANS???? This is NOT America First!!

-And on a related note, I watched a political youtuber showing an Axios article re the Dems “new strategic move” to the middle. NO parts of the 3-tier strategy are not already in play by POTUS, however, I’d say their “domestic work training” programs is a smart move. It’s also something we’d need to be ramping up right about now, IMHO.
As for the economy there is a huge lower middle class and even larger upper lower class of people who are being crushed by high prices. Not everyone has a skill that brings in $100,000 K per year. Many are feeding households that have 3 or more individuals. Not every household has a Tesla or even a good working automobile that is affordable. Many of them drive the used car market that has gone wild over the past 3-4 years. Yep, those people vote too……
Mr. Bessent’s appearance may initially suggest that he is humorless but he is anything but. Funny guy.
Why doesn’t this administration ever talk about the massive layoffs of jobs? or massive offshoring? or massive visa’s in this country? I am happy there will be a nice economy. If no one is working then not sure who will be able to exist to enjoy it. JMHO

Secretary Bessent is a good man. However, he’s not addressing the out of control spending enough. Gold and silver are betting the debt can’t be paid and the government will try to inflate it away.
Cutting interest rates to proper levels will address a great deal of what is due on debt. Continued GDP growth of 5 or more percent coupled with the billions of dollars we collect in tariffs will easily pay down debt and afford us the things we want as a country.
Getting the illegal alien parasites sucking up billions in tax dollars the hell up out of here, is already helping. 🥰
