We recently passed the fifteen-year anniversary of our assembly here at The Conservative Treehouse. Fifteen years of a conversation that continues; a conversation that questions; a journey upon the road less travelled. This odd little band of misfits, carrying on a conversation in the corner of a vast internet where pretenses drop and ordinary labels used to retain comfortability just don’t seem to stick.
Factually and embarrassingly, amid the whirlwind of sand through life’s hourglass I would not have noticed the date if site admin Wee-Weed didn’t draw attention to it, and I thank her for creating the pause.
Ad Rem, Stella, Menagerie and Wee-Weed are incredible moderators, always finding a way to guide the ship through fog, with a gentle nudge when needed. As a community we are blessed and thankful for their stewardship.
Two website platforms. 15 years. 48,349 articles. 5,128,351 voices in the comments. Visits from every country on the globe. These are the simple statistics of our assembly, yet the value of the conversation cannot be quantified. A loving God has a voice here. We listen. We are all vessels.
There are a lot of different things that can be said when anniversaries are celebrated; however, for our assembly my thoughts are about God and you. All of you, the commonality of you, us, all of us together in this discussion – no pretenses. The journey is the discussion, and the conversation is the point.
You see things differently than most. If you did not, you would not be here. You accept things as they are, not as the crowd would pretend them to be. If you did not, you would not be here. You see the deeper stuff and together we understand that perspective can lead to isolation when the truth cuts against the popularity of the thing. If it didn’t, you would not be here.
You value the truth in all its discomfort, and you have developed a keen perception that leads to articulate questions. If you did not you would not be here. You see the dots and yet you retain a perspective distance, permitting you to see the full picture instead of an image of random pixels. If you did not carry this inherent skill, you would not have found your way here.
You are almost certainly curious, inquisitive and instinctual. You also perceive more because you allow yourself to perceive more, and that is an incredible strength when you consider the luring comfort of the crowd you passed by on your way here.
Your instincts, your senses, your discernment is honed because these things are derived from our journey beside God. Ultimately, it is He who sharpens the saw of discernment while fueling the sense to remain stable while peering into the fury.
You travel with a mindset guided by natural laws and your willingness to accept being connected to something much larger than self. Yet our insignificance does not diminish our merit or worth because we know the equity of His grace.
We all hold value. We are all loved beyond our imagining. We are never alone.
You are an exceptionally intelligent person, carrying great wisdom and value. Your voice, your articulation, your sense and knowledge of the topic is profoundly unique, deep and abundantly evident when you are in a gathering.
Thank you for being here; for being you; for making this journey -this conversation- better, because you choose discovery over complacency.
I cherish our assembly and remain steadfast on the journey.
With abiding love and appreciation,
~ Sundance

Thank you Sundance – for allowing me to have a voice here.
I really don’t know how I started reading your website in I think 2021. I am so thankful and happy that I did. Your insight and thoughtfulness you express in your writing is truly amazing. Thank You and Happy Birthday!
Ill never forget your analysis of republican presidential candidate strategy to take out trump in 2016. My first visit to your site. The scales started coming off my eyes. Thank you!
Happy Anniversary!
🎉 🎈 🎉 🎊 🎉 🎈
I had no idea it’s been 15 years. I think for my part I’ve been around here for at least ten of those years and BOY, have I learned so much.
It’s a fine waypoint this anniversary and I would like to join the chorus congratulating you Sundance! We congratulate you not because of your success or notoriety, we congratulate you because YOU GOT IN THE FIGHT!
You were the among the first to rise up and take action against the forces opposed to America.
Your weapons were few, but they were the most potent weapons existent: Sunlight and Truth.
We are all so much better armed against those who seek us harm because of you and your efforts these last years.
I join everyone else here in saying: THANK YOU!
Many happy years to come. I consider this site essential reading for all Americans.
Without you I am not sure we could have done as much as we have. Let’s “Keep buggering on…” until we win.
Congratulations, Sundance, on your 15th year anniversary. I’ve been here about 10 years. I don’t comment often, but I do read here every day. It was American Thinker that got me here. I really enjoyed their comment section, but it got more troublesome to sign in to read the comments. And commenters kept talking about TCTH. So I checked you out, & had my eyes opened. I had always suspected the “official” explanation for major events was just not quite right. There were too many holes. I am so saddened by what I’ve learned about our government, “The Enemy Within”, thru your investigations/writings. They are truly evil.
Thank you again, Sundance, Ad Men, Stella, Wee-Weed, & Menagerie for all y’all do. The check is in the mail! I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth many times over.
My first conscious encounter with Treehouse was during the Trayvon Martin fiasco, where following a research thread led me to journalist Lee Stranahan deciding to take on Sundance in an email debate, defending some racial activist publicist in Orlando about the case.
Now, realize to that point I had respected Stranahan somewhat, but that “debate” was all bluff, bluster, emotion, ad hominem, and obfuscation versus typical Sundance calm facts and logic. No contest.
Been hooked ever since. No place is perfect, but the lack of “hair on fire” theatrics and the sober examination is refreshing.
For certain topics, it’s the automatic go-to before anywhere else. I don’t know how the average folks survive swimming the daily background noise vs signal. You’ve got to see how the big picture fits all in first to place the daily “news” in context.
Unfortunately most folks won’t read past a short Twitter phrase. I find I have to read everything, find patterns, summarize, and spoon-feed my circle of friends for them to accept or understand anything.
In fact, e.g. recently even a family member PhD in Philosophy, skeptical kind of soul, conservative, Catholic, you would think the perfect reader for CTH, I got him to read an article a month ago summarizing the Sea Island stuff, the Repub factions in the upcoming election – I forget which article but it mentioned the Nick Fuentes rise as non-organic.
Well, family friend loved the Fuentes factoid, since he despises him, but dismissed all the rest as confusing and “conspiracy speculation” – yes, that article presumes some background but right there, I blew it with him. Refuses to open his eyes or mind enough to just read, research, learn. Sigh.
So I’ll continue to explain and summarize for people. That’s ok. I find patterns, I’m good at it, and I enjoy it.
Congratulations and can’t wait to see us all here again in another 15. 😃
He wasn’t wrong tho
You tossed him far into the deep weeds… What did you expect? 😉
I, too, have been here since Trayvon Martin, and every day since. Other than prayer and coffee, it’s the best way to start the day. Thank you Sundance.
My sister brought me here while I was still working, now that I’m retired for 10 years now, I’m here many times a day..she found this site from reading Lucianne.com daily, but it was not longer daily as TCTH replaced it.. also during Trayvon Martin days.
We send articles and clips out often to friends/family but most are still working daily too. It’s hard to keep up with life sometimes, so we share what is most important. I refuse to stick my head in the sand and be blinded when I can see with clear eyes from what can be learned here. I love this site and all it has to offer.
God bless Sundance, the whole staff, and all those who offer a bit of their knowledge and a bit of life under the shade of their own tree..
And salute to you, sir, as I am in a family of Marines also.. salute..
Breitbart brought me here during the early day of Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman as I was looking for some actual facts. I remember Wee Weed in those early days learning the ropes. I did reading for several years before I ever commented. I still do not comment much as there is so much reading to do.
Thank you, Sundance and all the Treepers for stimulating conversations. I sure don’t get any from my liberal friends. Happy Annversary, Treehouse and friends!
Another key moment was the desperate dark summer of ’20 and Sundance’s visit to DC, this one hit me like a brick and actually made me tear up, and I let my people know how dark and serious things were, and how we were awaiting the release of the 3-4 years’ worth of CTH research and trying to submit it to the investigators.
After the corona and summer of Floyd it was so dire and intense, and then came the stolen election.
My friends kept breathlessly writing me, when is it coming out!? What is Sundance saying now!? Truly dark times 🫤
I started reading CTH during Trumps 1st, but tuned out all politics during Biden until early 24, back to daily since summer 24. You have excellent postings and analysis – often the only one having it.
So much is awash with the Uniparty and the careers supported by the Govt. It is real thorny brambles, I can understand why it is so hard to change DOJ, FBI, CIA, & DOD. But it is changing, a lot due to light by the likes of CTH. Thank you for exposing the rot.
With fake news and AI fake stuff everywhere, reading the tree house articles is one of my daily duties.
We live in a fake world surrounded by fake people.
Were in a matrix of deception.
The tree house is a sign to remind us our environment is cluttered with mind fields of lies and deceptions.
When you see the “lady in the red dress” you know something is out of place and not right.
The tree house functions like that reminder.
A blessing indeed.
The gruesome murder of Jessica Chambers brought me here 11 years ago.
The likeminded people who shared my love of this country kept me here. To join together to elect President Trump twice (three times if you’re really counting) has been an incredible experience.
I haven’t been around as much in the past couple of years but this place is still the first place I go in search of the truth.
Thank you, Sundance, for everything you and your team have selflessly given of yourselves these past 15 years. God bless you all!
That was my 1st visit to The Last Refuge.
After my morning time with the Lord, the Tree House is the next stop almost every morning.
I am not a super saint…far from it.
Thank you Sundance. Thank you Treepers for being here, for guarding the Refuge.
May God watch over all of you, and guide this great country.
My prayer is that our Grandchildren find strength and purpose in family and faith.
Back in grade school, I remember a girl informing that “nobody likes a smarty pants.”
Who the heck would have known she was right at 7 years of age?
By the age of 17 I realized that nobody (really) wanted to know the truth.
Later in life I found this strange place where wanting to understand is okay and encouraged.
Thank God for providing this port in the storm!
Thank you Sundance and crew for keeping it meaningful, friendly, and informative!
Thanks to the fellow passengers for their interests, insights, and fellowship.
Sadly some great commenters have fallen by the wayside over the years.
Thankfully, many remain.
Love to all!
Sundance, i am late to the party, as usual, but…..
THANK YOU for all you do for all of us!
I first found you in the days of Trayvon Martin and have followed you ever since.
I had my doubts once or trice, but like a fine wine, you have aged superbly and stood the test of time, scrutiny, and the painful awakening of truths that few dared to utter.
You and your wonderful team are a touchstone that Americans can turn to to make sense of our special and singularly unique existence.
You remind us of our FAITH, our distinctive heritage, our aspirational ‘bestest’ selves, and the destiny that awaits if we embrace our sincerest, soul-felt dreams….
We are at an inflection point. You and the whole team of moderators and posters have afforded us all a beacon of LIGHT and GOODNESS to ground us in these amazing times of transition for humanity.
We the People have never encountered times like these. Your steadfast hand on the helm of reason will ensure our safe passage through this world and beyond.
HAPPY FIFTEENTH and wishing you many, many more!!! 🙂
Again, I THANK YOU and wish you and everyone GODSPEED! (with an extra special ‘shout out’ to Marcia, the Retired Magistrate) With Liberty and Justice for ALL……
I’m late to the morning posting too,, but wonderful post this morning! And also agree with your special shout out to Marcia, the Retired Magistrate!.. she is truly special for us too!
Thank you for introducing me to Alan Watts.
Been following you since 2012
Dave
Been here daily since Crossfire Hurricane. Get anxious if I miss a day. Thanks much.
Sundance you painted a really good portrait of The Conservative Treehouse Nesters!
AND thanks for never leaving US out on a limb.
15 years! Time flies, enjoy.
Been here since ’16 because I still love the truth. To know the truth we have to know the lies, so here I stand.
Thanks, SD.
G man.
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12
10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie
12and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
May God bless you sundance
God Bless and thank you for keeping up informed despite the incoming slings and arrows you take
Thank you for all you do Sundance.
Found you, via a link, the day Trump came down escalator.
Knew I had found, finally, something real.
Something quite odd, and good revealed itself that day, knew to start gathering news sources from Christians who believed in Christ, and every word of the Bible.
With links from your commenters, sourcing was simple.
Godspeed in all !
Thank God for this site!
Thank you Sundance for being such a great teacher. For putting in the hard work and hours
it takes to do the work you do.
We all come here with our own unique skills, education level, experience, and perspectives.
But what we all share is foundational values, and a deep love for America. We believe in
it’s founding principles, and in God.
We are armed with the information gleaned from your deep investigations, and explanations
of complicated issues.
Thank you Moderators for bearing with us, and making things run smoothly.
15 Years. Mazel Tov!!
It’s only been 15 years? Feels like 30. Thank you Sundance for giving us a home in the wilderness.
Sundance, what you and your team have accomplished provides an immeasurable service to us, your readers. Thank you.
12 years here on a branch of knowledge. Thank you all
Ad Rem, Stella, Menagerie and Wee-Weed are incredible moderators, always finding a way to guide the ship through fog, with a gentle nudge when needed. As a community we are blessed and thankful for their stewardship.
And we won’t forget that they are captains of the ship under the leadership of Admiral (and admirable) Sundance!
Information is intriguing but Truth is transformative. Thank you, Sundance, for being an agent of change…both minds and hearts…
I found my branch in the Treehouse way back thru Rush. Really miss him. But I am here everyday, learning more, hearing new ideas, new perspectives. This is my first stop every morning. Thank you Sundance for having us in your Treehouse.
Thank you for the video. Nail on the head. God bless you Sundance and company.
And it is my 30th wedding anniversary today.
Though I don’t comment often (see Alan Watts – I just take it in), I consider myself a regular and feel at home here. Great appreciation to Sundance, Ad Rem, Menagerie (Directing my mind and heart toward where they long to be), all the admin, and all fellow treepers. CTH is an oasis and a resource i frequent to find and put context to reality and Truth.
Thinking about the Alan Watts idea. I work with this guy who up to 6 years ago was though pretty misguided (AKA – lost in the cosmos) was at least a reliable colleague. Now-a-days it’s difficult to get him to string a basic thought together. When I look at him and see in his eyes that he is on Gilligan’s Island rather than present on the job, i remind myself he is “vaxxed” to the gills.
Made me wonder, as I’m dealing this morning with the frequent issue of how to work around his stupor and get things done…
I wonder what Watts would have made of the last 6 years? I wonder what he would have thought of the “covid test” which the vast majority of the world failed miserably?
I believe the vax mandates very well could have been the shot heard round the world.
I have been an avid, almost daily reader and I have occasionally commented here since I found the site during Sundance’s coverage of the murder of Jessica Chambers 11 years ago.
There is nothing comparable to The Conservative Treehouse. I have recommended it to dozens of friends and family and I encourage everyone to donate monthly to keep it going. No amount is too small. If everyone who is a regular visitor here would donate $5 a month it would make a huge difference. Thank you and God bless you Sundance and everyone! I hope everyone will glean what they can from participating here and take action of some sort to save this country for our grandchildren and generations to come.
Luciane Goldberg was stil alive and had a link to the treehouse.
🙂 Love to all
In GOD al things are posible.
He has gone to prepare a place for us who acept Him as our Savior:)
🙂
🙂
Prayer – Coffee – Treehouse – everything else is just noise.
Thank you, Sundance!
to borrow a phrase from James Lee Burke—Sundance has his own special brand of sunshine—providing both disinfectant and illumination. My favorite read every morning.
Thank you Sundance for all the work, I can’t remember when I found you but it’s been a blessing.
Thank you, Sundance, for all that you do to keep this platform so vibrant and relevant. As a conservative member of the academic world, I have found the Treehouse a great source of sanity and refreshment. If the Green Dragon should ever appear for real, I’d like to buy you and your staff a round.
I discovered The Conservative Treehouse by clicking a link about the Jessica Chambers murder in North Mississippi. I believe the link was on the original version of the Drudge Report, but I’m not 100% certain. I was drawn in by the way Sundance reported on the atrocity and went to the homepage to discover the depth of the stories on the Treehouse. I’ve been a daily reader ever since, and have introduced numerous, too many to count, fellow believers to learn about CTH and Sundance. I don’t take for granted the information that is shared here. Sundance presents the headline with his supporting facts and fellow Treepers provide the rest. I haven’t found another forum like The Conservative Treehouse. May God continue to keep His protective arms around Sundance, well all of us, and may He continue to guide us as we embrace truth.
I started reading here when President Trump came down the elevator.
Now, this is the only place I go for news and analysis. (From Sundance
and fellow treepers)
The Sundance school of truth and analysis….at first you have to deal with
cognitive dissonance and accept things as they are…not what you wish them to be.
Thats ok, the truth is what I seek.
Sundance, you are my hero. You travel far and wide, at great risk to yourself, to bring the
truth to your treehouse.
Your courage and strength can only be Godgiven.
May God bless you and keep you safe and well.
Thank you so very much for this refuge.
Congrats and thank you for 15 years! How time has flown by.
This has been such an amazing thread that I’ve come back numerous timesto catch up…… and it almost feels like a high school reunion….. reading comments from dear old friends, and other respected fellow Treepers and I hope this comment is not buried too deeply for everyone to check out this link to see, or get an even clear understanding…… of just the kind of lies, media bias, propaganda and self deception that we TREEPERS are up against….
On the one hand, I find it hysterically funny at the same time I find it repulsive and somewhat scary …..almost like staring at the criminally insane face-to-face….
It verges on unbelievable but then with all we’ve seen in the past 15 years, we know it’s totally believable that this is out there…..
two anecdotes immediately came to mine when I stumbled on this
the first like the Tulsi Gabbard article, ” you know you’re over the target when you’re taking a lot of flack”
and the other, is having read comments from celebrated individuals, whether they’re politicians or what whatever…..
that “you can’t fathom how corrupt, ruthless, and reprehensible the press ( deep state ? 🤔 ) can be, until you read something they’ve written about YOU…..”
for JUST A TASTE of what out great President has had to eat for breakfast EVERY DAY since the escalator…..
have a look

PSA – take your blood pressure meds before reading.
We cherish you too, Sundance and all that make the CTH possible. Better yet we’re all in the family of God.
Good times. So thankful to have found the Treehouse early on during Saint Trayvon. So much awesomeness in the fellowship on these branches. Pretty sure it was ZurichMike that posted a link to here on a Lucianne.com post. I was floored at the details and facts SD and crew had uncovered. The Baker Act/Promise Program, the Purple Drank(DXM cough syrup+ Skittles+Arizona watermelon Ice tea), the 7-11 robbery, Tracy Fruit was not even home when baby Tray got his third strike and went to live with him. Just amazing detective work via crowdsourcing.
HI BERNIE!
Thanks so much for the platform. It has not been easy work, especially during the surprise depaltforming by WordPress, where anyone can start a blog. this site broke WordPress and for that, I’m forever thankful.
Hats off to you SD and WEE weed, Ad Rem “Puddy”, Menagerie…and Dear Sharon.
Forever great full to Dear Sharon for her weekly Sunday series “Mailboxes and Old Barns”. When Sharon was tending to her DH and having trouble finding content, she reached out for guest posts for MBOB. I submitted my Grammie’s story for consideration and was so blessed to have Maxine’s story posted for a run of weeks content. This gave my Grammie so much pride to be published.
Love to all.
Forgot Dear Stella. If you have the chance, check out Stella’s Place on WP. Another awesome site with many familiar faces 😉
And so, this day after The LORD’S DAY, we PRAISE HIM and give HIM THANKS for you, Sundance, and each one who helps you!
May The LORD continue to BLESS you with Wisdom and Discernment, Protection too, in JESUS PRECIOUS, MIGHTY, & HOLY NAME, AMEN, AMEN, & AMEN
Thank you, Sundance for all you do to enlighten us and remind us of our Loving God.
