We recently passed the fifteen-year anniversary of our assembly here at The Conservative Treehouse. Fifteen years of a conversation that continues; a conversation that questions; a journey upon the road less travelled. This odd little band of misfits, carrying on a conversation in the corner of a vast internet where pretenses drop and ordinary labels used to retain comfortability just don’t seem to stick.
Factually and embarrassingly, amid the whirlwind of sand through life’s hourglass I would not have noticed the date if site admin Wee-Weed didn’t draw attention to it, and I thank her for creating the pause.
Ad Rem, Stella, Menagerie and Wee-Weed are incredible moderators, always finding a way to guide the ship through fog, with a gentle nudge when needed. As a community we are blessed and thankful for their stewardship.
Two website platforms. 15 years. 48,349 articles. 5,128,351 voices in the comments. Visits from every country on the globe. These are the simple statistics of our assembly, yet the value of the conversation cannot be quantified. A loving God has a voice here. We listen. We are all vessels.
There are a lot of different things that can be said when anniversaries are celebrated; however, for our assembly my thoughts are about God and you. All of you, the commonality of you, us, all of us together in this discussion – no pretenses. The journey is the discussion, and the conversation is the point.
You see things differently than most. If you did not, you would not be here. You accept things as they are, not as the crowd would pretend them to be. If you did not, you would not be here. You see the deeper stuff and together we understand that perspective can lead to isolation when the truth cuts against the popularity of the thing. If it didn’t, you would not be here.
You value the truth in all its discomfort, and you have developed a keen perception that leads to articulate questions. If you did not you would not be here. You see the dots and yet you retain a perspective distance, permitting you to see the full picture instead of an image of random pixels. If you did not carry this inherent skill, you would not have found your way here.
You are almost certainly curious, inquisitive and instinctual. You also perceive more because you allow yourself to perceive more, and that is an incredible strength when you consider the luring comfort of the crowd you passed by on your way here.
Your instincts, your senses, your discernment is honed because these things are derived from our journey beside God. Ultimately, it is He who sharpens the saw of discernment while fueling the sense to remain stable while peering into the fury.
You travel with a mindset guided by natural laws and your willingness to accept being connected to something much larger than self. Yet our insignificance does not diminish our merit or worth because we know the equity of His grace.
We all hold value. We are all loved beyond our imagining. We are never alone.
You are an exceptionally intelligent person, carrying great wisdom and value. Your voice, your articulation, your sense and knowledge of the topic is profoundly unique, deep and abundantly evident when you are in a gathering.
Thank you for being here; for being you; for making this journey -this conversation- better, because you choose discovery over complacency.
I cherish our assembly and remain steadfast on the journey.
With abiding love and appreciation,
~ Sundance

I can’t believe it’s been 15 years! I found my refuge here during George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin in 2012, you were a year in. I’ve come here every day since. You have given me (us) an invaluable resource, wisdom, education, thought provoking material, and spiritual guidance.
Blessed to have found you all, Sundance, Ad Rem, Stella, Menagerie and Wee Weed my hats off to you. Congratulations, job well done and cheers to many more years <3
The power of truth, this is what Sundance is offering to those willing to see, its truth telling. In my opinion, Sundance has probably saved many from being given over to a reprobate mind. God led many to read the pages of CTH. So as to clear up the confusion of the lying matrix we find ourselves living in, this is the place to find truth.
Yep, like many here, I have read these pages along time it has been very insightful the facts presented on these pages. The detail of an issue is nowhere else to be found on the net. Here are the facts you decide. And they are presented in understandable form.
Yes, Thank You Sundance for presenting us with the truth and facts.
A mere thank you is woefully insufficient.
I’ve mostly been a lurker here since b4 Obambam got in. I cannot tell u how very glad I have been apart of this journey, I have been 1 who doesn’t believe n questions everything and found I am not alone! Its the most helpful reads I’ve had my whole life so yes … God Bless you all here in our little piece of a miracle of finding Our Sundance, mods, ad rems and a lot of those who regularly post here, like our Betsy,. you are all extraordinary, refreshing and so insightful and I must thank you all for giving me a small piece into your world. Much Love Jill 😊❤️
It’s already been said so I just echo others in my thanks to Sundance, Ad Rem, Stella, Menagerie and Wee-Weed. Congratulations on your 15! You rock.
Congratulations to our faithful and devoted Host, Sundance (& Staff ) on your 15th anniversary of EIP (*Excellence In Publishing) and for constantly setting the Lion of Truth free to defend itself! May many more come our way.
Your Comments section is the Best in the Biz, IMHO.
Thanks, also, to all who support their efforts at TCT.
*(Hat Tip to Rush at EIB)
Voracious reader and monthly donator…thanks for providing a source of information that is contra to the Pablum served to the masses. Open minds can’t unsee the daily attacks and corruption…thanks for the eye rinse and wide open blinds….
Best to all
Stuck
Congratulations to you and yours, Sundance!
I found you during the Obama years from a comment in the American Thinker, and I believe, Intellectual Froglegs. I’ve been haunting your site ever since, and recently, subscribed. You and most of your commentors are voices of reason and insight. I’ve shared you with others who can handle the truth.
“The Lord bless you
and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine upon you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
Numbers 6:24-26
One of the big attractions of the Treehouse is that you don’t hide the comments section behind a paywall. Too many websites demand payment before I can even READ the comments. I’m not going to pay just to find out if I want to be a part of that community.
Although, to be honest, I can’t really afford to pay to read any commentary, there’s just too many good ones out there.
Also, I don’t charge to read or comment on my webcomic, why should I pay anyone else?
I came to CTH shortly after Michelle Malkin gave Hot Air to Salem. When Hot Air basically gutted their comments section a lot of us left and I ended up here at CTH. – Not sure when that all happened. But have learned a lot from Sundance’s writings. Cheers to Sundance and CTH.
Thanks Sundance. Ive followed since pre-Trump. If i recall it was Big Fur Hat that had your link and i followed through
Thank you, Sundance, for your faithfulness and determination to the cause. It’s deeply appreciated and much needed. God bless you! 🙏❤️✝️
THANK YOU SUNDANCE AND TEAM.
Your insight and articles are grounded in Truth. Keeps me anchored to reality and sanity.
I don’t remember exactly when I started reading CTH, but it was before Obama was elected.
The comments are a great enhancement as well. Thanks to all the thoughtful contributors – which is most of you 🙂
Congratulations Sundance. I have been coming here since 2012 (Trayvon Martin hoax). I try to go on the site every day.
Thank you for all you do for us and the country.
Thank you, Sundance, this really spoke to me. I am a bit frustrated with my son’s family not perceiving the precarious situation we are in with the illegals, finances, etc. They are normies thinking their future will be like their past just by doing what they have always done. They believe a bit too much in Disneyland, too.
I had to learn the hard way that pretending could cost me my life.
Thanks Sundance (and your team) for all you’ve done to save the Republic! We’re so grateful!
Many blessings!
