We recently passed the fifteen-year anniversary of our assembly here at The Conservative Treehouse. Fifteen years of a conversation that continues; a conversation that questions; a journey upon the road less travelled. This odd little band of misfits, carrying on a conversation in the corner of a vast internet where pretenses drop and ordinary labels used to retain comfortability just don’t seem to stick.
Factually and embarrassingly, amid the whirlwind of sand through life’s hourglass I would not have noticed the date if site admin Wee-Weed didn’t draw attention to it, and I thank her for creating the pause.
Ad Rem, Stella, Menagerie and Wee-Weed are incredible moderators, always finding a way to guide the ship through fog, with a gentle nudge when needed. As a community we are blessed and thankful for their stewardship.
Two website platforms. 15 years. 48,349 articles. 5,128,351 voices in the comments. Visits from every country on the globe. These are the simple statistics of our assembly, yet the value of the conversation cannot be quantified. A loving God has a voice here. We listen. We are all vessels.
There are a lot of different things that can be said when anniversaries are celebrated; however, for our assembly my thoughts are about God and you. All of you, the commonality of you, us, all of us together in this discussion – no pretenses. The journey is the discussion, and the conversation is the point.
You see things differently than most. If you did not, you would not be here. You accept things as they are, not as the crowd would pretend them to be. If you did not, you would not be here. You see the deeper stuff and together we understand that perspective can lead to isolation when the truth cuts against the popularity of the thing. If it didn’t, you would not be here.
You value the truth in all its discomfort, and you have developed a keen perception that leads to articulate questions. If you did not you would not be here. You see the dots and yet you retain a perspective distance, permitting you to see the full picture instead of an image of random pixels. If you did not carry this inherent skill, you would not have found your way here.
You are almost certainly curious, inquisitive and instinctual. You also perceive more because you allow yourself to perceive more, and that is an incredible strength when you consider the luring comfort of the crowd you passed by on your way here.
Your instincts, your senses, your discernment is honed because these things are derived from our journey beside God. Ultimately, it is He who sharpens the saw of discernment while fueling the sense to remain stable while peering into the fury.
You travel with a mindset guided by natural laws and your willingness to accept being connected to something much larger than self. Yet our insignificance does not diminish our merit or worth because we know the equity of His grace.
We all hold value. We are all loved beyond our imagining. We are never alone.
You are an exceptionally intelligent person, carrying great wisdom and value. Your voice, your articulation, your sense and knowledge of the topic is profoundly unique, deep and abundantly evident when you are in a gathering.
Thank you for being here; for being you; for making this journey -this conversation- better, because you choose discovery over complacency.
I cherish our assembly and remain steadfast on the journey.
With abiding love and appreciation,
~ Sundance

God bless you, Sundance and thank you for all you’ve done. 🙏
Amen BlindSquirrel. The Treehouse allows the Blind to see. It is not that we see the Dots. The master painter here paints the dots about 3 feet in diameter and repeats the painting of them. Some of it Sinks In. God Bless Sundance, The Treehouse, the great moderators, and all you people that comment.
yes, 1000 thank yous. there is nowhere else to go. God with us.
15 years, remarkable! Thank you Sundance, the moderators, and anll my fellow Treepers. God bless you all.
Just sent Sundance an anniversary gift. Please let us know the exact day, and I’ll put it on my calendar. Never like to forget an anniversary, especially such an important one 😊.
Ditto
SD – ty, happy anniversary, and many more.
Thank you & God bless and protect you!
Ephesians 3:20-21
God bless Sundance. Thank you for helping me see the strings on the marionettes. May God give you wisdom, strength, and purpose in the coming years to continue to shine a light of truth in this world.
Thank you Sundance, I needed to hear that today and congrats on 15 years. I didn’t find you right away, but must have been close you were on the Trevon Martin case. So much learning since that day. Thank you for all you do.
Wolverines!!
Amen!
The Egyptians have a saying. “You must climb your way to the top of the mountain, you cannot land there.” Every day Sundance, you get us closer to joining you at the top. For all of us, you are never far away. You make the world a better place. Until next time.
Thank You SD and the wonderful Mods!
I’m grateful for all your work and the community of commenters at this wonderful corner of the innerwebs.
Wolverines!
No words can convey how much you are appreciated, SD. I’ve learned so much here at “CTH University”. Your beautiful words of spiritual support keep us going when we get discouraged. You are a lighthouse in a stormy sea.
God Bless you and all your staff, SD.
I agree
Nothing flashy, just hard work & truth, it sells itself. Thanks, Sundance & team!
Thanks for the hard work Sundance and Team.
I am glad to be a (very, very) small part of the community.
Sundance,
the recent death of my wife has refocused my thinking on the meaning of her life and mine. God doesn’t tell us the answers to such things, He sends signs, that many don’t see and so they feel only despair at the end of their lives and the lives of their loved ones.
Five thousand years ago, the great king, Gilgamesh felt that despair and went on a journey in search of immortality. His search was fruitless in the end but Gilgamesh gained a measure of wisdom by realizing that his life was given meaning by the impact his actions had, good and bad, on his subjects.
If good acts are the measure of meaning in our lives, you, Sundance, have spent at least 15 years on your journey toward a live well-lived.
And that’s all any man can ask of his time here on earth.
Sincerest condolences on the loss of your wife.
Thank you, LR.
Aww, so sorry you have lost her.
Me too.
💔 🙏🏻
Sincere condolences, LTB, for your loss. A prayer that you have found or will find comfort in the realization of God’s intentions for bringing your lives together.
He give us 60 years together. I can only feel gratitude for that.
That’s Awesome. ❤️
Sorry for your loss, LionTigerBear.
May her soul through the Mercy of God, rest in Peace. Amen.
Thank you, nichan.
Very sorry for your loss.
Thanks, Bessie.
Thank you for letting us along on this journey.
Ah Sundance, you’re just saying that but go ahead, say it again. Here has been a haven of wisdom and rest. In peace we walk.
I’m a relative newbie and I’ve relished the honesty and authenticity here.
I’ve felt alone out here from time to time being a woman of God first and an American citizen second.
In the treehouse, acknowledging God as Creator and omnipotent ruler of the universe isn’t a fault it’s a virtue.
Truth is painful to some but liberating to Christian believers in Jesus Christ.
Thank you for providing a home for all who would lead a moral and righteous life, following the law of God.
Your focus of keeping God in charge makes all the difference. He will continue to guide you and us. Thank you for your research, thoughtfulness in expression, and truth in deliverance of all you do.
…as one of your first readers, I solute you & your helpers. I’ve not been disappointed. God speed and continue your stand into the wind of nature…
Thank you Sundance. You season our journey with the proper amount of questioning; you don’t reach the conclusion before you have explored all the facts.
You are the salt of the earth.
I got in pretty early. My sense now is that the reach of CTH is really getting larger. What sundance has done, is doing, is for me jaw dropping. And aside, Alan Watts? Others know about him? I read many of his books in my youth 50 years ago. Standing ovation for everyone here.
Used to listen to Alan Watts many decades ago on the radio, WBUR in Boston, I think, out of West Coast public radio. Interesting and insightful man.
I want to thank you Sundance and Mods for the refuge. It’s a pleasure to learn, grow, and interact with you and the Treehouse commenters. Mostly Sundance, thank you for your enduring commitment. God speed all…
Treeper to the end, with eleven years and counting. Came from ‘The Captains Quarters’ via a commenters link. Never left. Questioned the narrative since 9/11 but fell for the RINO version, before getting on the Trump Train after my original candidate Rubio went down fast and loathed the idea of HRC getting her hands on the Republic. Never looked back, always use CTH as a reality benchmark and have embarrassed ‘professionals’ with my counter-predictions, that are invariably more accurate.
Thanks for providing this site and all the hours of work it takes to keep it running, God bless.
AMEN
May the Good Lord protect and defend you Sundance and Ad Rem, Stella, Menagerie and Wee-Weed. Thank you all for this interesting journey you’ve been priviledged to lead us on! Gods blessings on your souls.
Thank you, Sundance! I found this wonderful group election 2016. You have all been such a blessing. There is so much wisdom in the comments. I come here first thing every morning to get Sundance’s explanation on the things that are usually causing me concern. Since my husbands going to heaven, this site and Sundance’s way of putting scary things into perspective have helped me be less fearful. It is refreshing that you give God the Glory. That alone makes this site such a blessing. God bless you and keep you. Here’s to another 15.
Thank you SD, moderators and all involved for creating and opening your treehouse to the rest of us kids in the neighborhood. Happy anniversary!
I got pulled into this website in 2012, reading about George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin.
I was astonished at how much Sundance wrote about the case that was never mentioned anywhere else. Also, the conversation and comments by a large number of readers allowed a full picture to emerge of a huge cast of characters, with numerous heroes and villains.
And some of those names are still with us.
Pam Bondi.
The happiest of birthdays to you!
Thank you for sharing knowledge.
Know you do good in this world.
Thanks Sundance and crew for all the sacrifices you all have made for our benefit.
I came over from Neil Boortz’s comment area when someone posted a link to here.
God Bless, and thank you for the enlightenment since late 2015. I honestly don’t remember exactly how I stumbled onto your site. I do know it was related to Trump coming down the escalator. I think I was researching some of the red meat topics Trump threw out to get folks’ grey matter rolling . I remember reading an article, then thinking about the subject. After coming back days later and reading several more articles, I was HOOKED!!!
Wow!!! This is quite a milestone. This place is indeed a last refuge. Thanks to the late, great Rush Limbaugh I found this place. Thank you Sundance and mods for all you do.
May we all enjoy many more years together.
I cannot remember how or when I stumbled onto CTH, but once I did, I immediately knew Sundance was a treasure, and I visit the site multiple times daily.
It has been probably 12 or more years…and I comment when I feel I have something worthy to contribute.
Thank you, Sundance, as well your wonderful support staff.
p.s. off topic, but being early in maybe you can clear some confusion for me…
There was someone of note recently musing about who could have been responsible for the Dobbs leak, and wondering why Roberts didn’t use the FBI.
I was intending to respond, and wanted to make sure of my info…
We are thinking Sheldon Snook, but everything I can find says he retired in 2020. The Dobbs leak was 2022, yes?
Are my dates wrong? What have I missed?
Thanks, all, and again, thank you Sundance.
When two or more are gathered in my name, I am there!
Sundance and crew,
Thank you for letting us find refuge in this wonderful treehouse.!!!
may God bless
I’ve not been here for the entire ride, but I have enjoyed every minute I have spent here.
THANK YOU!
Congrats to all on 15 years and thank you Lord for this great blessing!
This is a remarkable web site. Thanks!
Sundance, there are no coincidences in life. You were chosen to do what you do by God. I hope you keep doing what you’re doing as long as it is possible. God Bless.
Living the best life!
Wolverines!
Thank you Sundance.
God bless.
Cannot imagine not having the Treehouse as my daily resource of news, commentary, sanity, in this crazy up-side down world I find myself living through. God bless Sundance and the Treehouse community.
A fitting time for reflection and encouragement in steadfastness. We are all blessed by the work and conversation here.
Today’s passage as our church preaches through Colossians is well suited:
Colossians 2:6-
Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
There is much for which to give thanks to God daily.
Grace and peace
I love this community. CTH has helped connect so many dots. Beforehand, I just had a nagging feeling that various things didn’t add up. I don’t care about being right. The truth is more important, and that’s the focus here.
Thanks for all you do Sundance and team.
Sundance et al thank you all for creating and maintaining this REFUGE for all of us….. all those kind uplifting words can be directed back at yourselves …..
15 YEARS….AMAZING I’ve been here wallowing in the fellowship for 10 of them…. and am a much better human for having done so.
Congrats and Godspeed.
Thank You.
Thank you Sundance and the moderators for this great refuge from the insanity. I can’t believe it has been 15 years! God bless you all.
God bless you Sundance, and God bless Ad Rem, Stella, Menagerie and Wee-Weed. And may God bless each and every individual who is part of this wonderful community.
I am so thankful that God directed me to CTH. I have learned more about our world in the short time I’ve been here than I learned the rest of my life put together. I’m grateful to all of you.
Dear Sundance,
The article and video exposed to me what has always been in my life. I was never understood by my friends and siblings and I saw they were not interested and finding out the resason. But even in the world, it’s amazing of what people don’t know or choose to know about our country and all the machinations of destruction, they will never see coming. It’s not really their owns thoughts they are accepting, but they embrace the lies, because it’s easier for them.
The only thing I can do is pray for them, our President, our country and the world. I know God hears us.
Thank you for all your enlightened and amazing reveals.
Some consultants have used the word unique describing me, and thinking outside the box. I’m not the most intelligent, but God gave me great intuition, the video confirmed that there are people like us around the world. I don’t feel so lonely anymore.
Thank you Sundance and Treepers, for our union to find the truth and reveal it to the world. What a fantastic ride.
We love and appreciate you too Sundance. Many more years of the Treehouse to come! I sit on my little branch each day and have listened and learn so much throughout the years from this site. Thank you.
When I carried a phone, my standard driving listen was Alan Watts –
kept me grounded in reality while in the maelstrom.
Happy Anniversary.
You say, Sundance, that on this anniversary that your thoughts are about Almighty God, which is right and proper.
You planted an acorn, and by His hand and by His grace He has year by year turned it into a mighty oak, supported daily with the able assistance of Ad rem, Stella, Wee-Weed, and Menagerie.
I’ve often said that I don’t remember how it was that I found this place. It doesn’t really matter…
But I know in the deepest parts of my heart that it was not by chance, nor by chance that all of our fellow branch dwellers were led here as well.
With deep gratitude, I thank you all for staying the course, especially when you were in danger of becoming deplatformed. There is no doubt our Father was with you then, just as I am sure He is now in our presence every single day.
We are friends. But more than that…we are family.
May the Lord bless us all and keep us under His watchful protection as you and we, soldiers in this army of loyal patriots which you have amassed, carry on in this ever changing world.
It is a prayer which He has promised to answer…
Onward!! 🙏🏻 💕
Amen to “not by chance” . our hearts know it
Amen to gratitude
Amen to family
Amen to Christian Warriors
God’s Promise of Ultimate Victory, already secured, in Christ.
Amen, Amen, nichan 💕
Thank you Sundance!
I think I got here around when the Russia collusion stuff against candidate Trump and then President Trump was starting.
It didn’t make sense to me so I was searching.
Perhaps it’s time to remember some of the old timers, remember Grandma Covfefe ?
Does anyone else feel, that at times, it’s an emotional burden to know so much more than 90% of the population?
Does anyone regret the journey?
TY- Sundance and all the CTH crew.
Although I’ve been woken up to a crazier America than I thought I don’t regret one moment of the journey. It is nice that there is a place where TRUTH still prevails.
You’ve been here as long as I have kinthenorthwest. Always good to see you
Always good see GOOD Old Treepers…
