There’s a specific 43 second video clip that I viewed further up this thread that clearly illustrates, at the 40sec mark, an agent in a grey jacket engage in the tussle & as he steps out of the scrum you can clearly see he has disarmed the agitator with the unique Ruger silhouette clearly visible in his right hand, while from a different video clip you hear an agent saying “he’s got a gun”. At this point the agents back out, create distance, draw down & fire.
All this said, here are the problems for this agitator…
-You attend a rioting protest armed. While not illegal & as Walz voiced, he possessed a CCL, you have now “armed” yourself for a potentially negative outcome. Again, while bad judgement isn’t illegal, it can certainly be fatal. [preventable]
-He inserts himself in physical altercation with federal agents, with self knowledge that he is carrying. Again bad judgement & placing himself in a negatively confrontational situation. [preventable]
-If in fact he is a CCL holder, he would’ve been instructed to declare he is armed if confronted by any LEO. There is no audible that I’ve heard that indicates he made this declaration during the entire scrum. [preventable]
-Knowing that he is now in a physical altercation with LE, instead of complying with their instructions he continues to resist arrest thereby intensifying the event. [preventable]
-Further complicating matters is that there was a pepper spray dispersal in or near his face at the onset of this situation. It’s quite possible he was resisting, or at the very least appearing to resist, because his face/eyes were on fire thereby losing his cognitive ability to initiate or act upon several of these bullet points. [Again, preventable]
Given all this, it was a righteous kill. LE doesn’t have to & in many cases try & decipher the intents of a subject they’re engaged in. They are faced with split second decisions that dictates more of a need to react to situation versus rationalize it. Doing the latter only takes one time being wrong. In the end, this was all completely preventable!

I’ve watched different angles from what transpired so here’s my take,
From the window view inside the restaurant, I noticed one Agent retrieved a gun off the individual on the ground a runs away with it. The woman in the pink jacket videoing the front angle shows the same outcome but with a different mindset when looking at it from this vantage point.
If you listen closely, you can hear one Agent repeatedly saying, “he’s gotta Gun” under his face mask, so I believe what happened next after watching it from this angle, as the one Agent takes the Gun away and runs off with it, another agent is yelling “He’s gotta gun” and the Agents who only heard those words acted accordingly.
The Agents, as can be seen, back off the guy when they all hear “he’s gotta gun” who didn’t know he was disarmed at that moment in time, One Agent fired the first shot then 2,3,4 (45cal.) and the final shots from a different Agent fires 5 more, (9cal.) totaling 9 shots.
So, keep in mind that when you hear “He’s gotta gun” repeatedly, you don’t know where that gun is, is it in his hand, his waist or is he aiming it? Were the Agents lives threatened in such closed contact? Yes! Was this Justified? Yes!
Put yourself in their shoes and not as a bystander.

New video footage has emerged that appears to show three new things we didn’t know before:
1) It appears from the new footage that the man who was shot, ASSAULTED A WOMAN
2) It is now very clear that a federal agent sees something that makes him QUICKLY pull his weapon
3) It is clear the man is still fighting and moving after we hear the first shot fire… so it’s very unclear who fired the first shot

I don’t think any of the 3 (two woman and the male shot) were a target in the agents’ mission.
The two females were standing in the middle of the road obstructing traffic and loudly blowing their whistles at one of the agents from about 3 feet away as he stood by the car as their actual mission concluded (the suspect they came for was in a car being driven away).
As the car with the suspect drove away the agent turned his attention to the two women blocking traffic and blowing their whistles. He ushered them to the side of the road and when they persisted, he shoved one of them away when they tried to move forward and into the snow.
At that point the one shot – who was an anti-ice “observer” – inserted himself into the event.
The agent gave the man a shot of mace (or whatever they were using). Chaos ensued.
The one that was shot MAY have been trying to help the woman up. The woman MAY have thought he was an agent and she struggled to get away from him. (remember they both had degraded vision due to the mace) The agents MAY have thought he was assaulting her.
What is sure is that the one shot fought against the agents and had a gun. As he continued to do so there came a point in the chaos and struggle his gun was seen and agents shouted out there was a gun. One of the agents neutralized what he perceived to be a deadly threat to his fellow officers.

perhaps, in a effort to help her up.
The chaos that comes from these situations is why people are killed. Which is why
you don’t belong there at all. They are dealing with men who are able to use deadly force.
Why why why would you antagonize them?
These people are living in a different universe in their minds.

Thank you for sharing the link to the letter, Crimson Cloud. This should be required reading for everyone who wants to see what is going on here in regard to Pam Bondi. This AG is an absolute ridiculous joke. I knew Bondi was incompetent but the level of incompetence revealed in this letter is beyond the pale.
IMO, this is the most ineffective, anemic letter imaginable in the circumstances we are facing in MN and indeed the entire country as this well-organized Leftist mob anarchy and violence spreads and will be threatening many other cities soon, and while US taxpayers are being robbed blind by massive fraud. Bondi is beyond incompetent. She appears to be play acting at her role, shining us on, and doing little of substance here. Waltz and his cronies must be rolling on the floor with laughter after reading her letter. I’m not a lawyer, but at this stage of the game, shouldn’t she be putting Waltz on notice that unless he activates the National Guard and contains the unrest, that the POTUS will federalize the NG and possibly invoke the Insurrection Act? How can the POTUS go from her weak-knee “urge for change” to taking these actions against an unwilling Governor? Is Bondi trying to set him up?

A SIG 365P 9mm capacity is 10+1. Pretti had an additional two magazines totaling 31 rounds. For normal everyday “carry” the 10+1 was sufficient.
Nobody carries an additional two 10 round magazines unless they are hunting bear or zombies.

It will be interesting to see which gun club he went to, to receive his mandatory training, and who his BCA-certified trainer was, and what exactly they taught him about the legal requirements of concealed carry., then the sheriffs office who approved his application. When we’re through with that, did anyone in his family and friends network make use of Minnesota’s 2024 Red Flag Laws.

Yea, sure but when you’re shopping for groceries or getting a pizza? I carry two additional mags when I head into LA or San Diego but I keep them in my car. It’s too much bulk and weight to lug an armory around in 90° heat. In this climate you have no place to conceal all that gear plus the SIG in question is too big and weighs too much.

Then, after establishing exactly where, how and who, regarding his training, we can move onto which sheriffs office approved his application, and did they, or anyone else in his family and friends network make use of Minnesota’s 2024 Red Flag Laws.
Finally, did he make his local ICE-watch group coordinator aware that he was carrying, and what, if any advice they gave him. I’m obviously assuming that if the ICE-watch group can assign citizens observer status they have had the commensurate training, including legal obligations and liabilities. I’m a First Aid trained responder and the first thing we were taught were these two aspects, before any medical training, given we would be interacting with members of the public.
I’ve also interacted with armed police officers during a LEO and any attempt to interfere would be risking immediate arrest, if an initial warning, that had been issued, was ignored. Is it the same in the US?
Yes with some context. MOST not ALL professional LEO’s in the US who regularly interacts with Pre-hospital Care Providers (EMT’s, Paramedic’s) rarely if ever would give an interference warning typically because they are expected to clear the scene of any threats prior to medical intervention is initiated. This is understood on both sides. In fact, I’ve witnessed the opposite occur where the medics demanded access to a patient based on unconfirmed threats & the LEO(s) yielded way to the medics while providing Overwatch Support for them as they extracted the patient to a more comfortable place for all parties to render aid. The LAST thing any LEO wants is to be referred to IA for not allowing aid to be given to an obvious or perceived patient. Not a good Public Relations look for them or their department.
That is why I’m trying to understand the pre-planning of Pretti. What the hell was he imagining he was going to do?

I agree. Furthermore, there are serious questions about this shooting that need to be resolved. The conservatives lose the moral high ground if we justify a bad shooting. The following question needs to be answered: did the agent who shot the deceased protester realize the protester was disarmed by another agent before the shooting occurred?
