According to the Minnesota Dept of Public Safety, Governor Tim Walz has activated the national guard. However, in a statement on their X account the officials note, the guard “are not deployed to city streets at this time, but are ready to help support public safety, including protection of life, preservation of property and supporting the rights of all who assemble peacefully.”
This is likely a proactive move to block President Trump from invoking the ‘insurrection act’ to stop the chaos being fueled by the governor himself as well as professional leftists in the region.
As federal efforts led by the Dept of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) together with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) continue, the governor and local municipal leaders throughout Minneapolis have continued to call for activists in the street to maintain operations against immigration enforcement and criminal illegal alien arrests.
Underneath all of the state opposition is a matrix of financial fraud purposefully being hidden by the officials throughout the state of Minnesota including Governor Walz himself. In essence, the state government is trying to protect themselves from criminal investigations of fraud by creating chaos as a defense mechanism.
The Minnesota national guard are being called to duty as a chaos management operation. They are not being called up to stop the violence, merely facilitate the ongoing violent street protests. The national noticing, along with the riots and violence, continues….
1) declare Insurrection, declare Martial Law.
2) Nationalize the Mn Guard, and take command
3) Arrest Walz and his staff for sedition
4) Arrest Frye and his staff for sedition
5) take all the detainees to Guantanamo for trial by military tribunal
6) Orde the Guard to fix bayonets, load with actual ammo, and clear the streets.
7) Order local police to stay out of the way of ICE and Homeland Security operations of face arrest.
Problem solved.

Walz has created several pitfalls for himself:
1) If Walz uses the Minnesota National Guard (hereafter MNG) to perform crowd control, the mobs will in essence be fighting againt Walz. There’s a good chance that rioting protesters will get hurt, changing the whole narrative to “Walz’s fault”.
2) If Walz uses the MNG to thwart federal law enforcement, Walz as MNG’s C-in-C will be engaged in armed insurrection against the US. Indict, arrest, jail. Possibly try the case in military court to avoid leftist judges and juries.
3) With the MNG mustered, Trump can nationalize the force, put it under federal command, and deplot it quickly to assist federal law enforcement objectives.
Walz = brilliant.

My opinion is that ICE should be almost completely removed from blue states and put in red ones to catch what is there. Then when the fraud squad has done their job, bring them back in to get the remaining criminals. Fraud squad should clear a lot of them out.
REALITY CHECK MOMENT:
I’m not sure they have even rebuilt ICE enough to do what is necessary. Homan and Noem need to speed it up, pronto. Less Fox talk and MUCH more personnel recruitment, training, mobilization and deployment.
Biden destroyed ICE; it needed to be rebuilt from the ground up. It is presently up to only about 22,000 personnel nationally. But not anywhere near enough to locate, take custody of, and deport well over 20,000,000 illegal invaders.
We really need more like 222,000 ICE agents at a bare minimum nationwide. And they certainly have the funds for that now. Why isn’t it happening?
The daily rate of deportations is no where near where it needs to be to make a significant reduction. These invaders are breeding like rabbits in the meantime, because they are being nourished of the public teat. It’s the European model for community destruction.
The daily deports are barely keeping up with the birthrate. We got a net negative migration this year, which is nice. But we have a gigantic backlog to get out.
The self-deports are going to taper, and the daily numbers need to rise dramatically in the next couple months.
These organized riots in the invasion strongholds are a delaying tactic.
All Minneapolis ICE is are onesie and twosie pickups of the most violent criminals. And just that limited round up is being held up with these delaying riots.
Tens of thousands of bought and paid for illegal voters remain there, and elsewhere. Not violent, but just as criminal as they violated federal immigration law and need to leave. Not be given benefits with a scheme to vote.
There should be 10,000 ICE agents in the Twin Cities right now (not 3,000), rounding up many thousands, not just a plane load of the violent ones every week.
Most of the battleground states involve these illegal sanctuary hotbed cities. They are gigantic ballot harvesting and vote fraud machines. Enough to flip states.
If you want to secure the battlegrounds better, you need to clean out these places, before the voting flips are cemented forever.
This is what bothers me about these situations. What you are advocating for should have happened on DAY ONE! And increased as needed. A true CRACKDOWN. It is becoming increasingly likely that Minneapolis is becoming the catalyst for determined, prolonged, and deadly conflict in our nation. No doubt, such is the plan and goal of many active insurrectionists who are emboldened and enabled by the powerful politicos, public administrators, and financiers who support their cause.

The thing about the Guard is that it’s comprised of two groups of people; the first group staerted out largely for the free college and bennies (nothing wrong with that BTW), and the second group are former active-duty people who either got sick of the AD lifestyle or whose wives wanted to be closer to family, but still wanted to serve their country, or who needed some extra cash after struggling upon exit from AD.
The NG is, therefore, this really weird mishmash of diehard, high-belief patriotism and apathy.
This is not a group of people you want to order to into a position where they have to oppose federal law enforcement, much less their buddies on active duty. Nor are they people who particularly want to risk their lives against commie protestors to protect a bunch of criminal Somalis… your average Guardsman has way more experience in dealing with Third World Muslims than the average civilian and the impressions are not favorable.

Yeah, that would be the same Minnesota Army National Guard that (then Battalion Command Sergeant Major) Walz bailed on right before his unit was about to get deployed to Iraq in 2005. He dropped his retirement paperwork just before the “stop-loss” took effect. He was running for Congress at the time and apparently didn’t want the distraction of actually serving with his troops in a combat zone.
He didn’t show up for them. But they are going to show up for him, because that’s what real soldiers do. They follow orders, even if they don’t like them.
