Prior to the discovery of rampant fraud in Minnesota, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent was already scheduled to deliver remarks to the Economic Club of Minnesota. Treasury Secretary Bessent is also the Acting IRS Commissioner, which gives him a very unique position from which to review and discuss the explosive issues of fraud within the state.
This is a MUST WATCH video in totality to understand exactly what Secretary Bessent is focused on.
Secretary Bessent begins visit by delivering prepared remarks to the audience outlining the success in President Trump’s economic policy approach, giving specific examples of granular policy accomplishments and what they mean to the average American. Secretary Bessent then sits down for a question-and-answer session where he drills into the issue of the fraud within the Minneapolis, Minnesota region.
Regarding the Somali fraud issue, Bessent notes the IRS Criminal Investigations department are leading the charge to identify the specific individuals and larger network groups within the region who will be held to account. In the bigger picture roughly 10% of all government spending has been identified by the General Accounting Office as fraud. This is a really good overall review of the current approach being taken by the Trump administration. WATCH:

Even without my glasses, I am beginning to see that “light at the end of the tunnel”! Thank you, Secretary Bessent.
It’s about time the IRS goes after actual criminals rather than Conservatives and Christians.
JMO.
Great presentation.
It is just a small snippet of G.O.A.T. President Trump’s plan to reshape the political battlefield of 2026 / 2028.
Which includes the genius move by our President Trump to defund the “national democrat / RINO, communist party in the USA” by, not just reducing, but eliminating, the dark money secreted away by the Executive Branch’s intelligent agencies over the past 8 decades that have been used to take full control of the “national democrat / RINO communist party in the USA.”
First came the D.O.G.E. removal of their USAID domestic dark piggybank of annual Continued Resolution (CR) funds.
Then came, using the tariffs, returning to the USA’s treasury the unconstitutional CIA’s foreign cash caches from Europe, Japan and South Korea to the tune of $1.5 trillion.
Everyday, Americans get to watch in real time, President Trump’s reshaping of the political battlefield for 2026 / 2028.
The Treasury Secretary, in this video, discussed the winding down of the Iran economy ….. that could very well describe the winding down of the “national democrat / RINO, communist party in the USA”, on President Trump’s watch.
The period of 2026 /2028 is going to witness a very hard landing for the “national democrat / RINO, communist party in the USA”.
The reshaping of the political battlefield will result in the number of democrats / RINOs in the Legislative Branch dropping and the number of MAGA / America Firsters increasing, enough to shift the legislative output to the MAGA / America First policies of President Trump.
Following the reshaping of the Legislative Branch will come, …… through appointments over 3 years ….. enough of the reshaping of the Judicial Branch to support the MAGA / America First policies of President Trump, which by plan are Constitutional based.
The end result of President Trump’s reshaping of the political battlefield in 2028 will be the practical process of bringing the 3 branches of the federal government back into being Constitutional Compliant allowing for the changes implemented by the President Trump administration to be secured for upwards of a century ……. ending the century-long globalist / communist attempt to take control of and destroy our Constitutional Republic and its Constitution.
The USA won WWII, battling 2 dangerous enemies across two oceans, in 3 years and 8 months. Returning the USA government to being Constitutional Compliant will be accomplished within the same time frame.
MAGA / America First isn’t just our motto, it is our duty!
The Allied countries that fought the Axis countries in WW2 were; 1939 Poland, France, French Equatorial Africa, French Cameroon, UK, India, Australia, New Zealand, Nepal, South Africa, Canada, Muscat & Oman.

1941. Yugoslavia, Soviet Union, Ukraine, Belarus, Panama, USA, Philippines, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, China, Cuba, Korea, Czechoslovakia, Guatemala.
1942. Mexico, Brazil, Ethiopia.

1944. Liberia, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary.
1945. Equador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, Turkey, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Chile.
Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Finland fought with the Axis powers – Italian fascists and German Nazis – until the Red Army arrived. Bulgaria ruled over northern Greece during those years and that has not been forgotten in cities like Thessaloniki.
Praying that it be so!
Cactus, I agree with you that “The period of 2026 /2028 is going to witness a very hard landing for the “national democrat / RINO, communist party in the USA”. I hope you are right. Thank you.
Better but we’re as a nation still spending money we don’t have each year, we’re spending the next generations of citizens money.
Bessent projected that the budget shortfall could be between $300 billion and $500 billion lower—equivalent to 1 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP)
Last year, Washington registered a $1.8 trillion budget deficit.
Thomas Jefferson pointed out the obvious and who is responsible for deficit spending, big banks, big business:
“The system of banking we have both equally and ever *reprobated. I contemplate it as a blot left in all our constitutions, which, if not covered, will end in their destruction, which is already hit by the gamblers in corruption, and is sweeping away in its progress the fortunes and morals of our citizens. Funding I consider as limited, rightfully, to a redemption of the debt within the lives of a majority of the generation contracting it; every generation coming equally, by the laws of the Creator of the world, to the free possession of the earth he made for their subsistence, unincumbered by their predecessors, who, like them, were but tenants for life… And I sincerely believe, with you, that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies; and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale.”
*reprobated – Disapproved with abhorrence; rejected; abandoned to wickedness or to destruction.
The Problem is not with the Banks. The Problem is Congress spends more money than it takes in with taxation. Government spending is the Root Cause.
The big banks are the Fed (private) which shouldn’t exist but does. (Congress abdicated its duty to the Fed) they print money backed by nothing.
Banks loaning money when they don’t hold the assets to cover the loans. Money from nothing. Debt for multiple generations right now.
I’m beginning to see the reason Dems push for so much spending in social programs/non profits now.
Before all the fraud has been exposed and brought to light I thought it was just to get votes. Now I realize not only do the social programs provide high paid jobs for the elites family members but the grift fraud and money laundering are the main goal.
Once again President Trump and citizen journalists are making it clear why we are in republic ending debt.
I could not agree more. Congress gives out money hand over fist, knowing they will get a kickback into their re-election campaign fund and their future is assured.
And their family members can invest money for them with insider knowledge reguarding favored stocks.
CI units are special agents attached to the IRS. These guys are not the defuses who deal with tax questions, citizen audits, or the immense bureaucracy that is the IRS. They hunt for organized crime activity, money launderers, human traffickers, drug traffickers and other enemies of society while attached to task forces or on their own. There are only about 2700 of them. They are very very smart.
What have they actually DONE for us?
Check Criminal Investigation Press Releases.org. Lists month by month convictions. And none of this includes contributions vis a vis task force activity.
I know this is a minor point, but… The mention of La Nina returning next year, or late this year, is very significant in terms of agriculture. It is going to affect everything we grow from crops to livestock. It’s good to hear him mention it and shows the long term thinking this Administration is doing.
In the Southeast, we are already experiencing drought conditions due to lack of precipitation and unusually warm weather. This is going to affect agriculture for the rest of the year. A simple example, without the precipitation the grass doesn’t grow, cows eat grass… that means more cost to feed them out from other sources (hay).
But, back to finances, the econonomic outlook is very bright. I pray this Administration can keep going full steam ahead – their time is short.
Just sayin’.
It is funny. Every time I hear talk of El Nino or La Nina, it is to explain why everything is bad!
These two weather patterns have much to do with how much and where rain falls. Mainly where the rain/snow falls.
Drought is a problem in areas of the USA where Agriculture is important. Irrigation for hay will really have an impact if it come to that.
If he’s saying 10% it’s probably 20%
10% might be a typo. They meant to add another zero.
“100% of all government spending… identified as fraud”
“IRS Criminal Investigations department” They have some Delta-level international forensic accountants. This is good.
“In the bigger picture roughly 10% of all government spending has been identified by the General Accounting Office as fraud.”
At this stage, if 10% is admitted as identified, I’d say the real number is between 50% to 80%. Individualized by each partaker, there is massive fraud that can’t even be detected.
The federal government cannot properly manage the resources we give them.
Until they figure out how to responsibly manage these resources, these massive government programs should be terminated, and the income tax should be terminated.
If you don’t work, you don’t eat.
SNAP should be reduced to picking up a few staples, meat, fish, produce, eggs, milk, etc. Bring back food lines. It should be inconvenient.
Where I live, there is litter all along the sides of the roads. No one gets money for free. Welfare should be termporary, until one gets a job, and recipients should be out cleaning the streets. All work is noble.
Please let Secretary Bessent know how valuable these speeches are to the media starved American public. Watching Secretary B I have confidence again in what our government is trying to do and that it actually is nonpartisan. Fraudulent child care hurts us all.
Re: one of the questions at the end from an award winning small businessperson/inventor-designer and veteran whose business is suffering greatly, possibly fatally, suddenly this year, as a result of the size of the tariff on China. This was foreseen: Small, creative businesses like hers are not getting the transitional support they need to merely survive. Support meaning not subsidies but inclusion in the planning stage of the transition and assistance from organizations or existing government agencies that might help them find ways to manage and survive through the transition.
Here is someone who would like to do business with only US manufacturers and suppliers but like many others, found that her company is “too small” to do so and survive. She went into more detail about why her company is struggling as a result of the tariffs. For those who didn’t listen to her question, she expressed no opposition to tariffs. “Tariffs” were not the issue.
The uniqueness of the product she designed and sells would not necessarily work with a buyer’s club arrangement, as suggested by Bessent. Her question, while answered with suggestions that might help some, looked unlikely to me to help her business, and I’d assume many like hers. It wasn’t the place for a longer discussion on the subject but would be worth one that included more small businesses that are struggling and losing or lost because of the sudden change in the cost of their supplier (China) and their inability to afford US suppliers or find alternate overseas manufacturers (while maintaining quality, it must be added).
Jacob Frey, Tim Walz, Ilhan Omar – Your about to get Al Caponed. “Caracas on the Hudson” Ha.
Great talk.
if you cannot check voterID how are money changers going to monitor welfare recipients?
Secretary Bessent can’t say the quiet part out loud. It’s not just identifying and eliminating fraud but just as importantly, DEFUNDING THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY
Roughly 10% of government spending is fraud? I would say that is a bit under the mark.
There are supposedly one million people over the age of 100 being sent a Social Security Check every month? Some are going
out to people 200 years old. They are being cashed by someone. Elon says, “Well, they aren’t coming back”.
Any Corporation, it seems, needs to know where the money is going. Why is the Government allowed to hide so much fraud?

How do you not retroactively go back and attack the 30% of housing that big business owns in the US?
I understand going forward you can limit home buyers, with incentives, to stay in their homes and not sell to big business for profit. 30% of single-family homes being owned by the likes of Blackrock is SOMETHING our 30-yr-olds are well aware of..and they’re pissed.
