Secretary of State and National Security Advisor Marco Rubio appears on Fox News for an extensive interview about current events. Within the interview Secretary Rubio discusses the current status of immigration vetting and the pause therein.
Additionally, Rubio outlines the current state of the U.S. operation in/around Venezuela and the ongoing negotiations with Ukraine and Russia to end the conflict in Eastern Europe. WATCH:

I prefer they go on popular podcasts. Hannity, Fox News and MSM can’t be trusted. Going on MSM conveys negative credibility.
So, a perfect fit
I prefer…..to read transcripts. Yep!!
CUT THE CORD
True but there are ‘normies’ that unfortunately, still watch faux news….you have to reach them, too.
I like faux for the headlines I deem worthy of perusing. I am cynical, disbelieving and untrusting of most of what I read, as all y’all Treepers know it…!
Headlines change, NEWS about what those headlines say changes not at all. For the past 100 years big business, big government and big media have been running the same dog and pony show…always with different dogs and ponies. Or as the Talking Head Man Said, “Same as it ever was, same as it ever was, same as it ever was…”
Agree Dr N.
I personally don’t watch TV, but by whatever means are available, let the words be heard.
Was this interview edited —or something?
-🤔
I can’t watch the video with Hannity asking the questions.
Every time “My Mother The Prison Guard” opens his mouth, I cringe. Not sure why an apparently solid American government official like Rubio would elevate a bozo like Hannity by appearing on his show.
I don’t necessarily trust Marco. I am impressed with his publicly known actions under Trump so far, however the background of Marco is of a snake.
Hannity is just filth and I can’t stand the guy.
All that said, we need any and all coverage we can get. We don’t need to give up reaching the millions of misguided ‘republicons’ who are ill informed enough to watch Hannity.
you are not only one…..
I hear his voice and can’t go 1 minute before turning him off.
Careful. You’ll be called “Anti-Latino” just as I was called “Anti-Semitic” for questioning why Trump would have Jared co-leading the Ukraine negotiation. Concerning to see some Treepers acting like Libs over the past sixty years — charges of “Racism!” to shut up opposition. When pressed to support the assertion, they bask in their anonymity and run for the hills.
Blind loyalty is increasingly resulting in ad hominem attacks…
Agreed. It might be predicable human behavior but it is not a productive method of debate.
I still remember when I listened to the late great Rush Limbaugh that he made several pointed remarks about Fox News over the years.
Was Pam not available?
Ask Fox News
Ukraine GDP greater than Russia? LOL.
Maybe that’s after all those ‘security guarantees’ little Marco negotiates for them.
As our Secretary of State, surely, he will be joining those negotiations, soon
as co-signer of C a p i t u l a t i o n ????
Capitulation to whom? ‘Not our war,’ right?
lol
to Russia !!!! we(nudelman/us ambassador) start this sh*t show in the 2014……
I was curious after listening about former Senator Rubio’s voting record, so I asked ChatGPT the following:
Former Senator Rubio, did he vote to send funds to Ukraine while senator?
The response:
Good question — the answer is: sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on which Ukraine-funding bill. Here’s a breakdown for Marco Rubio (former U.S. Senator):
In 2022, he voted against a government-funding bill that included about $14 billion in aid to Ukraine. Also in 2022, when the Senate voted on the Additional Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2022 (H.R. 7691), which provided roughly $40.1 billion in aid, that bill passed the Senate — but Rubio was among the “NAY” votes.More recently, in 2024 when the Senate considered a large foreign-aid package including funds for Ukraine (the $95 billion aid package covering Ukraine, Israel, and others), Rubio again voted against it.So: while Marco Rubio has supported some foreign-aid/aid-oversight legislation more broadly in the past, on the major Ukraine-assistance bills started after Russia’s 2022 invasion, he voted no.
I was curious about consistency on Rubio’s part today.
“Logrolling is a form of cooperation among politicians that plays a role in the legislative process, being a manifestation of the web of alliances that legislators make to pass bills for their constituencies.” [Internet definition from Center for Effective Lawmaking]
Logrolling is an old term used describing the political process. … Our politicians have to keep their Constituents pleased with their work. A politicians’ constituents are the >money donors (both legitimate and cash envelopes), and his actual voters. [It seems to be in that order too]
Politics is a ‘dirty’ business. … The idea of a politicians ‘serving the public interests of everyone’ is an idea found in Fairy Tales like a high school civics classroom book.
……. At this moment in time, Marco Rubio is preforming very well for Donald J. Trump’s MAGA coalition.
I apologize for accidentally flagging your comment. Big fingers on a small touch screen.
Over all, I agree with you.
I’d venture to say that Rubio is PERFORMING very well for PJDT’S MAGA. lol
I like listening to Rubio, until he begins to talk about Ukraine/Russia. The information he is giving isn’t accurate, and no inference about the difficulty with Zelensky, the EU and global intelligence in this regard. Hannity, of course, is a tool of intelligence. Rubio is polished and speaks well. I just wonder how deeply his current persona goes. At the end of the press conference with President Trump, Hegseth, etc., Rubio is caught on camera giving a ‘questionable’ look to JD Vance. I wonder……
“I like listening to Rubio, until he begins to talk about Ukraine/Russia. The information he is giving isn’t accurate,”
Can you enlighten me on more accurate information?
I wasn’t that excited about his ‘Regime Change Inc.’ comments, either. Then, trying to call that America First.
The man is 100% neocon
“The man is 100% neocon”
i still don’t get why everyone here thinks he is reformed from who he has always been…
Maybe part of your issue is you are stuck in prior pigeon holes. These possibly no longer serve us in the world that is unfolding.
What I care about is straightening out the horrific mess this country is in, and which President Trump is making headway on fixing.
What I like about Rubio is he us doing the job President Trump assigned to him. I also appreciate how articulate he is because normies can hear him.
But above all that, his intelligence is helping sort out messes. An example here is when Hannity brought up AGAIN President Trump saying the Ukraine war should have been easiest to fix. Rubio countered with what the President meant is that logically it seemed the most easy. That kind of thinking — pointing out specifics — is helpful in chaos because it helps bring clarity.
To take that a step further, one might say that is a good point, but not necessarily correct. I might say it is not correct because in my view the EU is pushing/causing the war and will continue it if given any chance at all. So no, it is not the easiest war to fix.
So taking my line of thinking to the next point, what Rubio implied (assuming like me you think the EU is the cause) was he and the President didn’t necessarily think the EU is responsible. I think they are, so that is a bone on contention.
But looked at another way, diplomatically it would be a huge step to call out the EU. I’m glad the President and Rubio haven’t yet taken that step. Although the President may be trying to let events unfold so we see the little msn behind the curtain (EU responsibility).
What I’m saying is there are many complexities here and both Rubio and President Trump are intelligent, deliberate, and careful people. Whether you agree with any of my thoughts above or not, clearly Rubio is one of the most competent people in the cabinet and he is doing what the President wants.
I am very happy Rubio is in his position . But I will be the first to jump ship if he stops executing as President Trump wants.
agreed, certainly complex and each of us is just going with our gut reactions observing the game of thrones from the outside.
we may never know his true intentions unless/until he is installed.
MB… because our society is feed on emotion not on critical thinking never analyze background of person…. yes he is another KELLOG……100% N E C O N !!!! PRESIDENTIAL MATERIAL MY ..AS*….
Why don’t you read what you are planning to post, BEFORE you post?
I understand it. You don’t?
Something that never seems to get mentioned is that Senator Rubio co-sponsored a bill with Dem Senator Kaine to amend the 2024 NDAA to prohibit a President from unilaterally withdrawing from NATO without congressional approval. Basically it removed an executive branch privilege and handed it over to Congress.
The questions nobody asks is why do that, and why then just before the 2024 election?
There is probably no doubt that a Joe Biden or Kamala Presidency would never consider a withdrawal from NATO. However, the Deep State would very much like to handicap a potential President that is not aligned with their interests … you know, like a populist America First kind of President.
The upshot is that Rubio, just before the 2024 election, eliminated any possibility of this Presidential authority being used as leverage.
I don’t trust the man.
did not know he co-sponsored that, but certainly does not surprise me.
Simplest explanation is that he was wearing a different hat then. If someone takes their job (whatever it is) seriously, that matters a lot more than you might think. The issue is NOT what the individual’s personal beliefs are, it is what his role is. He was a senator then, a member of the legislative branch. He is now a member of the executive branch. It matters.
Isn’t that simply fakery? It still means he’s not trustworthy. So whose hat will he be wearing after the midterms? What hat is he really wearing underneath all the other hats?
“The U.S. Constitution grants treaty-making authority primarily to the President, who negotiates treaties with foreign nations, but requires the advice and consent of the Senate, with a two-thirds majority needed for ratification. This process is outlined in Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of the Constitution, which establishes treaties as binding agreements that have the force of federal law.”
If Congressional approval is required to make a treaty, shouldn’t Congressional approval also be required to dissolve a treaty?
“I wasn’t that excited about his ‘Regime Change Inc.’ comments, either.”
We need worry only about those working to cause regime change here in the US of A, for certain.
Right now, finding some change of heart, and some consistency in our leaders, pointing toward real change in government, along with accountability for evildoers, will go a long way to give me any hope this nation is going to make it out of the mess it is in.
Sure, a polished politician can fool people, including me, but the government itself fools no one. People will pretend, but keep in mind a person pretends for reasons. Pretenders know exactly what they are doing.
But …but…he is well CAMOUFLAGED NEOCON…. did anyone notice his always ..stern /robotic/no emotion .. look/glance …remain me 30 pence…..
it is worth mentioning that pence was a very good advocate for trump as well – right up until the moment it was not politically convenient or expedient to be so.
as such, and as mentioned before, all we have to go on is what we believe we are witnessing, and historical precedent.
people can change and reform and come to new realizations – god knows i have done it many times. if it wasn’t obvious over the years of my being here annoying people, i am a natural skeptic and cynic.
No. Pence sabotaged Flynn and the. sabotaged negotiations with North Korea by snubbing the ruler’s sister. Pence’s daughter had gone to “The View” to try and sell a cutesy book, and it was obvious from body language that she was trying to make friends with those vipers who of course hate all “Republicans”. I also despise RINOs but don’t lie about them
If you want accurate information as to the goals of the Russians you can listen to the many speeches of Putin going back to 2022 and beyond.
One of their goals is they want to get rid of the Nazis (Banderos) that the CIA has supported since WW2 in Ukraine. Why? Well 25 million Russian citizens killed by Hitler’s Nazis Regime should give you a clue.
Then there is the question of all those Ukrainian Russians being persecuted and bombed by their own government since 2014 when they didn’t accept the coup by USA’s Victoria Newland which replaced the properly elected President of Ukraine.
BTW Rubio is spouting Kellog inspired nonsense that 7000 Russian soldiers are being killed a week.
Thanks.
I was merely pointing out I am trying to gauge the sincerity of the man Rubio by comparing his prior actions with his words today.
Question…if I may. Ukraine was part of the USSR during the duration of the cold war, so why wouldn’t the USSR have eliminated the nazi’s during those years?
The communist Soviets tried to kill every Nazi they could, which was their one good contribution to the world. But as in other parts of the world during the cold war, Nazis were underground and silent. Behind the iron curtain, to be identified as a Nazi was an instant death sentence. They only began to come out after the end of the cold war, and especially since Obama.
They are Extreme Ukanian Nationalists. The Nazis used the Bandera in WII but they were not part of the final goal. German people were to be moved into Ukraine. The Slavs would have been eliminated. The Nazis where very anti Slav.
They wear Nazi regalia but they are Extreme Ukrainian Nationalists. The Nazis used the Bandera in WWII. The Nazis would have eliminated Slavs after victory. The final goal was to move Germans into Ukraine. The Nazis were very anti Slav.
I thought he just misspoke to the 7000 Russians, rather than saying soldiers in general from both sides.
He talks all about making sure Ukraine is independent, without any mention of the fact that Ukraine is completely controlled by the Euro Globalitarian warmongers and IC of the UK and rogue U.S. IC. He refuses to discuss the entire reality of the situation, implying that the only threat to Ukrainian independence is that dastardly Putin, when in fact the real threat (and those who actually started this war in 2014) are the British and American intelligence agencies.
I’ve been impressed with Rubio so far, but this wasn’t one of his finer moments. He should stick to reality, and he should stay away from Hannity.
Fox news is more insidious than the other in your face fake news.
But the rubes love it
Venezuela is about election fraud – blowing up the drug boats is for the news cycle. Rubio won’t say that. yet.
WORD
Venezuela is about election fraud – blowing up the drug boats is for the news cycle. Rubio won’t say that. yet.
Worldwide election fraud-72 countries in the past 20 years
Espionage
Terrorist Training Camps
Narcotics Trafficking and every other type of trafficking that goes along with it
0.o
Blowing up the boats is about taking out international cartels deeply intertwined with Governments, the US mafia on steroids.
That too, but he’s right. To President Trump it’s two-fold: drugs and influence and the byproduct of election fraud. No one has been a bigger victim of election fraud than President Trump. And that’s why I’m sure Maduro will go, one way or another.
As Rubio himself states here, it’s impossible to vet someone for the future, as only God can do that. So whether MAGA Rubio is the Rubio who would take office if he won the presidency is anyone’s guess.
That being said, he is currently the most persuasive spokesman for this administration’s policies, and I include Vance in that pool. No one in this administration lays the facts out as cogently and coherently as Marco Rubio and the more people see of him, the more they hear him speak, the better they feel about this administration, if they’re at all inclined to be open-minded.
Incidentally, Sean is getting better. At times, he almost squirmed in his seat, resisting his natural impulse to constantly interrupt. He may need to take a Valium later, but I give him his credit here. 😉
J
he is a great speaker, thats for sure. so was obama.
but you are correct, none of us knows how he would govern if the throne were his. both the skeptics and the reform-optimists are just guessing. if the choice was between rubio and newsom, the choice would be obvious, if the people have a vote.
BS. Take away the teleprompter and Obama morphed into stutterer-in-chief. He was dismal at impromptu delivery.
Rubio is not following a script. He knows the subject matter. He does not hesitate when fielding questions.
The difference between their ability to articulate and remain on point is night and day!
Not only a great speaker — Rubio tthinks and he communicates the relevant points. Normies can hear him. These are not small things. We are lucky to have him in that position.
Also agree with Lorrie’s response to you. Obummer knew how to read a teleprompter and act accordingly. But he couldn’t put two sentences together on his own.
yeah the teleprompter occurred to me, and rubio is definitely better “on his feet” but not sure how much that matters. rubio has always struck me as well-rehearsed and well-groomed by many handlers, which are both things attributed to obama as well.
not saying he shares much in common ideologically with O, just that the way they both play to an audience is more similar to each other than the way trump does so. well-rehearsed articulate vs off the cuff and brutally honest – both of which are appealing to different groups.
Don’t give a President a throne.
To what you said: It is certainly the case that “JD Vance” shows himself to be a team member, and not just “the spare tire.” He is very actively involved, in clearly-defined delegated roles. I can see that sometimes “Vance speaks,” by his nature, in ways that “PDJT,” by his nature, probably could not.
In fact, I could extend this observation to several other Cabinet members. A single, clear message is being conveyed, but by different people in their own ways (and, within their own legal authority). Each of them is pursuing their respective jobs, confident that they will be permitted to do it. This is a masterwork, which is undoubtedly why “private citizen Trump” became so damned rich!
Masterworks; Put together by the king who was put into place by our Lord and savior! Added for flavoring Mike R. Amen 😎🙏🏽
Then Bannon could take some advice from Hannity IRT interrupting. Mo should just mute his microphone until guest is finished speaking
lol
I can’t tell you how many times I have hollered at the screen “shut up, Steve!”
Lol!
It IS his show, and you have a mute button.
That ignores the point – muting Steve does nothing in regards to hearing what the OTHER person is trying to say.
LOL! Bannon: “Hold on, hold on! H-h-hold on!”
It has been years since I watched Hannity, but I used to also shout at him to shut up! Hannity would take 10 minutes to introduce his guest while telling his audience what his guest was going to say. Just shut up and let your guest speak for him/herself!
” if they’re at all inclined to be open-minded.” Aye… there’s the rub. Still far too many lemmings.
“…he is currently the most persuasive spokesman for this administration’s policies, and I include Vance in that pool.” But have you considered that he is preaching to the choir here? We all are predisposed to like what he is saying. But what if you were a moderate, or a centrist? Whose voice would you prefer, then? I think (although I agree with him) that he comes off as a little too harsh, or ruthlessly clinging to his MAGA, Whereas Vance is a bit more agreeable, seemingly more pliant in his views.
Sorry, I think Rubio would act like a “because I said so!” tyrant, if he became President.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t want “pliant.” And I don’t think that Vance is necessarily pliant, seemingly or not. “Clinging to his MAGA” – you mean like clinging to his guns and religion? Interesting choice of words.
Rubio is a breath of fresh air.
Blinkin was a disaster.
I call them winkin blinkin and nod. The Biden failures
I would honestly say that Hannity, in conducting this interview, acted as a journalist. And that Secretary Rubio honestly did the same. Both parties’ arguments, at least to them, made sense.
Whether or not you choose to agree with either one of them, and I don’t, I don’t think that either of them wasted my time by having me choose to listen to it. That’s important. I didn’t “hit the ‘back’ button” after less than two minutes, as I have so often saw fit to do.
Looking back at so many “Secretaries of State” over these many years, Mario Rubio is: impressive. (And I would personally extend this accolade to many other members of Trump’s “senior staff.” He chose wisely.)
Remember when Aunt Tifa von Pantsuit shuffled the globe as SOS and making profound sounding announcements and commentary in her flat midwestern accent, full of ambiguity and nothingness-except when they killed someone-that the media swooned over, knowing with certainty that one day soon she would be POTUS.
Thank you, Sundance!
I honestly cannot watch. I like Rubio but I cannot stomach Hannity the handjob.
Maduro has “broken every deal he has ever made.”
But you can’t make a deal with Maduro. He is not in charge. He’s just a front man. To use a Landman reference, we haven’t seen Andy Garcia yet.
Similarly with Ukraine. Zelensky is also just a front man. He is not in charge there. The heads of international criminal groups are the ones who make the decisions in Ukraine. Those groups launder their money through Ukraine. They mix it with US taxpayer money, clean it through NGOs, and when it comes out the other end it appears as normal fraud waste and abuse money.
To use another pop culture reference, it’s like Crazy Eddie and the Panama Pump, from the movie the Accountant. I’d bet even money that if anyone ever did a forensic accounting of the money flow in Ukraine, they would discover that the money going OUT is orders of magnitude LARGER than the records of the amounts going IN. That scam breaks down if US and EU money are no longer provided as cover, and that money flow ends if the war ends.
Anyway, in both places it is necessary to continue the charade that Maduro and Zelensky are in charge, just as we play along with the charade that that Little Rocket Man is in charge. Just so long as we recognize that they are charades.
Secretary of State and National Security Advisor – was his job as Archivist transferred to someone else?
Marco Rubio gets it too:
“Nicolás Maduro is not the President of Venezuela and his regime is not the legitimate government. Maduro is the head of the
Cartel de Los Soles, a narco-terror organization which has taken possession of a country. And he is under indictment for
pushing drugs into the United States and he’s a fugitive of American justice. Maduro’s regime is a terrorist organization masquerading as a government. Maduro is not a legitimate head of state. I don’t care what the UN says. The UN doesn’t know what they’re talking about.”

Thank you — I didn’t know about this site and appreciate reading it now.
ditto… thanks.
Thanks for the link — the site is new to me and I really enjoyed it.
Do not conflate Venezuela with the Neocon Sandbox Wars. The Deep State hired Saudis to attack us on 9/11 to get Endless War abroad and Patriot Act Tyranny here at home.
This falls under Monroe’s Doctrine and is a blow against the Worldwide Pedophile Pervert Mafia, which has attacked us with Stolen Elections, Stolen Finance, Stolen Children and Stolen Identity.
Marco Rubio is not Pompeo, let alone Blinken, Kerry or Clinton.
If you flow with Holy Spirit, you can flow and grow into the New, a Kingdom Age, a new Golden Age for America and the world.
Secretary Rubio is flowing.
Wish I could upvote this more than once. Beautifully expressed.
Me too!
Award for best post of the day!🏅
INDEED.
Aww…
Holy Spirit is the Christian’s super power! He advocates, encourages, comforts, gives us discernment, wisdom, & leads us into truth. Brand new book out that’s excellent by Tyler Staton called’ “The Familiar Stranger.”
am not sure how my email got on this list but, here is a substack article from The U.S. State Department, Sec. of State Marco Rubio titled “America Welcomes a New G20”

Donald Trump in 2012: GOP Must Pass Immigration Reform If It Wants to Win Another Election
https://time.com/4561900/donald-trump-immigration-2012/
I was ready to watch and listen until I hear the voice of that sycophant Pit Chihuahua, Sean Hannity. I cannot stand listening to him since he cannot do anything but self-promote and kiss ass of power.
I wrote what I wrote.
Hannity is insufferable!
I’m a firm believer that he is a deep state shill. I understand he is popular, but he is pablum for the masses.
I’d love to Hear Rubio on Joe Rogan or Tucker, long form interview would be awesome.
I don’t care what Hannity thinks.
My rant for the day complete!
Nothing triggers the hidden gators more than a positive mention of Marco Rubio.
Once you see the manipulators…
Marco Rubio has been a very pleasant surprise to me.
Sec. Rubio has been for me as well.
Above all, I trust what President Trump is trying to accomplish, whomever he uses for it.
SD: regarding Venezuela and the narco boat strikes…is Hegseth/admin in legal jeopardy?
The long time popularity of Sean Hannity forces one to scrutinize the critical thinking skills of his audience. It is genuinely concerning that his brand of commentary resonates so deeply with some.
With several targeted posts, widely distributed, I’m shocked, SHOCKED! I say, to find that Fox has not been able to find that interview DoD lapdog Jennifer Griffin did with Milley in Ramstein (Afghan evac processing point) where Milley swore to God and her that these people were being “triple-vetted.”
I cannot get behind the increase in military action toward Venezuela; I 100% agree with drug interdiction but this effort with military seems handled wrong. Most especially the killing of shipwreck survivors; someone with experience in the matter can shed more light but isn’t there a duty to rescue? Drug runners or not, humans are to be treated according to the long-established rules of the sea, human rights most especially if there is no method of aggression left to the survivor!
I could be all wrong, but my intuition is raised hackles Declared Terrorist Organization or not. Is the purpose more nation building? Do we want another enemy like we’ve reinforced in the ME by our poorly planned exercises there?
Did we learn nothing from Vietnam and Afghanistan?
Another wrinkle is the prior strong statements by Hegseth on military strikes without a declaration of war (made during the Obama administration iirc), and the resignation of Admiral Alvin Holsey the same day as the strike.
MAGA and America First does not include the overreach I’m seeing.
Go ahead, throw your rocks.
I tend to agree with most of what you are saying. The killing on the boats while necessary is but one way to stop them and but I doubt the correct way. If a drone can shoot to kill it can also follow it to it’s destination.
You might want to read the post made tonight in the presidential thread with the clip from Waters show – and give things time for the full truth to come out.
Also – protecting American lives by the thousands (which is what the elimination of each one of these drug boats does) IS the job of the military. It isn’t “nation building.”
As far as any direct action on Venezuelan land – that would depend upon what the target(s) were. If it involved going after drug and human trafficking cartel facilities, I would have no problem with it. There comes a point where asking nicely to stop killing and destroying the lives of thousands and thousands of Americans without any movement in that direction becomes senseless and one of the definitions of insanity. We are far, far past that point in regards to the cartels that not only traffic in drugs, but also in human souls – including little kids.
