The anti EU movement is pretty much dead in Italy. M5S was the anti EU party but they are no longer anti EU. M5S mostly votes with the Left DP coalition government which is pro EU. Both FdI Meloni and Lega Salvini are pro EU. AFD in Germany and National Rally Le Pen in France are also pro EU. Like I said Orban is aggressive toward the EU but he and Hungary are staying put.
Those are the words of prey that has stopped fighting and simply lays there as the predator slowly devours them, incapable or unwilling to fight or resolve a way out of their predicament. Sorry to say but the anti EU movement is no longer popular in Italy. Meloni never ran on that because she would have failed to form a coalition government. Forza (formerly Berlusconi) is Center and Lega Salvini has always been pro EU. The M5S was the anti EU party but they too have changed direction. M5S is not part of the PD coalition (Schlein) but they mostly vote in favor of the PD coalition. The Meloni FdI government has increased its lead over the Left PD coalition government. The Left PD coalition government is in disarray. Same with M5S. As I mentioned AFD and National Rally will also have to form coalition governments but they haven’t been able to do that. They are also not anti EU.
