This is a remarkable story that has not gained significant attention. Late last week FBI Deputy Director Andrew Bailey, the Dept of Justice and various law enforcement agencies announced the indictment of two Mississippi Sheriffs, city police chiefs and more than a dozen police officers who were running drugs and taking bribes from Mexican drug cartels.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Norther District of Mississippi coordinated the indictments [SEE HERE]. U.S. Attorney Clay Joyner of the Northern District of Mississippi; Deputy Director Andrew Bailey of the FBI and Special Agent in Charge Robert Eikhoff of the FBI Jackson Field Office made the announcement and held a press conference.
Apparently, what tipped off the feds was several arrested criminals complaining to state and federal law enforcement that local police were demanding bribes they could not afford. The Mexican drug cartels were paying up to $30,000 to the individual officers, sheriffs and police chiefs’ and the local criminals could not compete with that scale of bribery demand.
MISSISSIPPI – […] “Law enforcement is only effective when the community they protect can trust the law enforcement officers are honestly serving the community’s interests,” said Robert Eikhoff, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Jackson Field Office. “This type of corruption strikes at the heart of the community.”
Nineteen of the 20 people indicted are also charged with violating federal gun laws.
In addition to the two sheriffs, those charged include: Brandon Addison, Javery Howard, Truron Grayson, Sean Williams, Dexture Franklin, Wendell Johnson, Marcus Nolan, Aasahn Roach, Jeremy Sallis, Torio Chaz Wiseman, Pierre Lakes, Derrik Wallace, Marquivious Bankhead, Chaka Gaines, Martavis Moore, Jamario Sanford, Marvin Flowers and Dequarian Smith.
Court records show that the federal defender’s office is representing 16 of the 20 people charged, including the two sheriffs. (more)

Allrighty Now!
Where is VLAD when we need him?
Hopefully he is busy making the necessary arrangements for the traitor John Brennan.
Sadly this isn’t a surprise… just surprised they got 🐀 🐀 out.
Same here!
No surprise to me. I have been talking about it for years.🤷♀️
These arrests….small hanging fruit.
Glad they got caught. 👏👍😁
I remember posts here about the girl killed in MS – burned I think – and comments about there were some deep rooted issues in MS…..makes you wonder about the history of past crimes like that girl as a result of LEO’s being criminals.
Jessica Chambers.
Jessica Chambers. Her alleged killer is in MS prison for using the debit card of a woman who was tortured for PIN number and stabbed to death.
She is what brought me to the Treehouse.
I was shocked then at the level of detail in reporting here and how little was reported anywhere else.
I am no longer shocked.
The Travon Martin case is what brought me here in the beginning. Expert analysis has kept me here ever since.
I read a few articles here then, but never grasped the significance of staying here and following all the way through.
Back then, I was reading many articles in many places. Blogs were popular and there seemed to be many with tidbits here and there. I assumed the CTH was similar then.
I still read many articles in many places, but there is only one place I come to (here) for facts on specific issues.
Same with me.
Please take the time, and spend the money to watch Joel Gilbert’s “The Trayvon Martin Hoax”.
Guess what I found on Google when searching for the film. Google’s AI did not find it, but claimed the book and movie were part of a conspiracy! Surprise!!!
You can find the movie, or trailer here. https://www.thetrayvonhoax.com The investigative work and evidence point a finger at former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and local law enforcement who failed to seek justice. A summer of racial violence and murder across the US was the result.
That was in 2012 and then the Michael Brown case in 2014. But what brought me here was much earlier than that while doing research on The Kenyan in 2007 I think. Much of what I found/learned way back then has been scrubbed from the web and the former selected resident is still trying to be relevant after all these years. Who did kill his Chef anyway?
The Jessica Chambers case is what brought me to the Treehouse, via a link from Drudge Report when it was credible.
I came way before Jessica, been here every day since 09 I think. Weird,
It’s just become habit.
It is not just Mississippi. After I moved into my place, one of my neighbors told me about a shoot out between our sheriff and one of his deputies. The deputy was running a brothel. The sheriff was enforcing law and order. The sheriff encourages being armed. The sheriff’s office is half a mile away.
If the Venezuela cartel leader Nicolas Murduro can send suitcases full of 20 million in cash to BLM leaders and politicians you can bet this is just the tip.
Just the tip
With China providing the raw chemicals and Canada allowing the large-scale production of Fentanyl, not sure why any local law enforcement would need to be bribed anywhere along the northern parts of the US. The distribution networks are so deeply ingrained through so many states, that poison is flooding in like water through a fishing net. The NGO’s are just as guilty allowing this garbage under the guise “helping the homeless” and sanctuary city BS.
Mexican cartels run the show. Period.
It is their turf.
The indicator of another entity encroaching
on their turf without approval……Turf war…
gang war.
🤷♀️🤷♀️
My favorite detail about the BLM chicks … they stole million$$$ of BLM donations, from white, screeching, liberal females … and like Maxine Waters, bought million dollar mansions in white gated a guarded neighborhoods … far, far away from their burned out ‘hoods.
The Mississippi connection reminds me of the Jessica Chambers murder a few years ago. Her alleged killer remains free after two trials resulted in hung juries.
The Names! By their names will you know the criminals!
It’s hard to wap your tongue around some of these names for sure. I must say they do continue to come up with new versions of these tongue twisters.
Those Amish are certainly original, and quite good “spellers” as well.
Better be careful. The Drug Cartel is the CIA. Can you say Barry Seal?
Remember Gary Webb.
The Mena Connection. The Clinton’s, Bushes, Asa Hutchinson, Dan Lasiter, Pablo Escobar, Iran-Contra. Good times in AR back in the day thanks to Roger Clinton. 🤣
The two boys killed on a train track, sorry its Wiki
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_of_Don_Henry_and_Kevin_Ives
The start of the Clinton body count.
Heard a lot of interesting stories, in a similar vein about Kentucky.
When John Y Brown was governor.
Gary Webb was conclusively proven to be exaggerating his claims. There was no direct connection between the cia and crack on the streets of la.
Shameful.
Working for the cartels?
Throw the keys away.
I’m just shocked I tell ya that such a thing could occur with our noble law enforcement. And I’m shocked as well by the ethnicity of most or all of the offenders, many with even more made up names that I’ve never seen before.
/s
Corruption, Democrats, and Drugs. Is there some sort of molecular, or maybe even atomic level force that keeps these three inseparably bound together?
Of course it’s probably something we should come to expect in dem. strongholds like Massachusetts……And in a government office, no less:
FTA: “A Western Massachusetts aide to Gov. Maura Healey faces charges of cocaine trafficking after 8 kilos of the drug were delivered to him at the state building………”

Thugs just always gonna be thugs! Lol
Oh would you look at that….another one!

This is what you get from non-stop 3rd World immigration. I have read that there are cartel members/gang bangers (same thing in the end) in the LA Sherriff’s department.
It’s also why Christian churches always have to be cognizant of infiltrators.
This incident is the tip of the iceberg. The influx of drugs across our borders is ongoing, they are not at all secure.
The Customs/Immigration officers at all ports of entry should be regularly rotated. Along with a secondary military staff for oversight over them, also regularly rotated.
The human nature factor must be addressed. The sheer value of the volumes of the drugs is certainly generating corruption.
Otherwise honest officers will be offered large sums of cash, or, if the bribes are refused, threatened with death. Or the death of loved ones. And there is no bluffing, these cartels are serious people.
Shipments of drugs, weapons, human beings and cash flow regularly across our borders.
The CIA and DEA are also major conduits of drugs, cash and weapons. No administration, including the current one has the backbone to audit these agencies.
Weapons shipped to Ukraine for our continuing war are diverted and also surfacing with the cartels along our borders.
The CIA is just the American branch of MI6, which started out as Queen Elizabeth I pirate mafia.
It was originally known as Maritime Intelligence 6. They hijacked Spanish ships and stole jewels, money, etc, on behalf of the Queen.
In their spare time they were allowed to chill out on British controlled islands in the Caribbean and make extra money engaging in drug and human trafficking.
The only thing that’s changed since then, is how much more organized and entrenched they are. And the name got changed to Military Intelligence 6.
And now they have branches in every Western country. All serving the same original Masters.
So if you want to know why they seem above the law, it’s because they are. The CIA have never served the American people. They were not set up to serve the American people. And therefore, they can never be reformed.

Northern District of Mississippi | National Health Care Fraud Takedown Results in 324 Defendants Charged in Connection with Over $14.6 Billion in Alleged Fraud | United States Department of Justice
Yikes….Billions? 😳
Nurses, doctors……
In 08 I finally got around to going back and finishing law school. They said it had been so long I had to start over. I hadn’t finished the first time because flying airplanes seemed far more appealing. After the stroke of a pen wiped out my vested pension fund I figured it was time to get back to school, so there I was taking night law courses 4 days while flying extended weekends, with a bad attitude and no sleep.
Naturally I hung around with the handful of older students. The three other women over 30 were experienced health care fraud investigators. One hard working lady caught down a $7.6 mil/year theft ring run by some Russian doctors out of California. He boss praised her work and told her to take to the company attorney. Proudly she walked into his office with her file and detailed her proof of fraud. The lawyer yawned, and told her tio put it on the stack – it was so small he wasn’t sure if he could get to it.
She went back to her boss and asked “Can I go to law school so I can prosecute my own cases ?” She started next semester !
It has only gotten worse … when I took a Qui Tam course I learned that most of the government fraud is in health care. There have not been enough investigators to go after it all for years — glad someone is assigning prosecutorial talent, because boy there is a lot of fraud to be found.
The amount of Government fraud that is involved in Title One/ ESOL/ free meals
in school systems nationwide would stupify people. If only someone would choose to
open the can of worms.
If a school district uniformly declares itself Title one, then it was entitled to $600 extra
per pupil. And that was 20 plus years ago, and before the real $$$ kicks in for computers and
instructional materials.
Say you have an elementary school that has 500 students enrolled. Three hundred of which
are from apartment complexes. So…. when you go to enroll your kid in the meals program, you’re
informed “That it’s been taken care of”. Which means that your child will be receiving free meals,
like everyone else to keep the percentages high. Doesn’t matter that your annual house hold income
is 100K+.
We’ll go by the true incomes in the school. Maybe HALF the enrolled students come from families
under the income levels qualifying for free meals. The other half have the means to pay for their kid’s
lunches. So… if you go by the old 600 per year Title 1/ free meals, the example school would be fudging
the numbers for 150K of federal title 1 funds annually.
I’ve heard testimonies from parents of 3 different elementary schools in my county where “It’s taken
care of” was mentioned. My county school system has over 140 schools, and has been renowned for
corrupt practices over the decades. Imagine what the picture would look like if they started to examine
it nationwide.
Treason with the death of Americans from overdoses and reason for execution. We have to be very hard on people put in the position of trust by society when they break that trust and the law
Should be a Capital Crime!
Meanwhile in Little Rock Arkansas they murder people for their organs, nobody does anything
The two arrested Sheriffs are both Democrats. The Democrat Party – Drug Cartel nexus is becoming clearer.
He is not a law enforcement head or educational head. He is the Secretary of Health and Human Services. Which I believe he is doing an exceptional job.
Hilarious. The local drug dealers whine they are getting arrested and not the Mexicans because the latter can afford to pay much bigger bribes. ROFL.
My late Dad (25 years, NYPD) always said the corrupt cops get caught when some other bad guy gets busted and rats them out as part of a plea bargain.
gang/criminal gunfire erupts in three simulatenous locations…jackson and Columbus. 2024.
in a moment not planned but reflected by self preservation AN AMERICAN PATRIOT responds in defense of his own life and those who are sleeping in the same building…and in the 2 second battle, lay dead 19 dead criminal bleeding their last breath.
and standing over those who still have a mouth the speak and eyes that can blink, He explains:
I do not hate you, but I cannot allow you to kill innocent people. you death saves lives.
this is ancient law.
courts do not ordinarily dwell in ancient law of truth..
but these days, the truth, the lion, is free to roam
God Bless America
God Bless Columbus MISS, the HOME AWAY FROM HOME
All done in the heart of the congressional district of the estimable Benny Thompson 🤮🤮🤮
“This is a remarkable story that has not gained significant attention.”
The cartels run the media because the cartels finance the Uniparty.
Glad to see this. You can bet there are dirty cops all along our Southern border, and of course, in the urban areas to facilitate the transference of drugs, guns, and human beings.
More of this please. Bust their chops hard.
Anyone notice a similarity shared by the corrupt trash who betrayed their oaths?
Say it ain’t so!
If it is this bad in “red” Mississippi, just imagine what it’s like in “blue” states and/or all the border states.
No, this is in the “Delta”. This has always been the “poorest of the poor” and it’s no excuse, but probably easier there to buy off people than many other places. I remember going to Tunica one time, where the idea was gambling would be their savior. It looked like a total fail to me.
If convicted, these law enforcement people should be housed under that jail.
(Not killed, just given very uncomfortable quarters for a long, long time).
Baloney sandwiches 3 times a day with only water to drink. Solitary confinement if they complain.
IMO, public employees, particularly those at the top (or near the top) of the food chain, should be put on notice when they are hired (or advanced) that all of their financial dealings are subject to spot reviews at any time. That should also include immediate family members.
Looking at the, ah, interesting first names of the perps. Sensing a commonality but I can’t quite put my finger on it.
The National guard and Memphis Crime Task Force has arrested almost 2000 people in our area, most of them are drug charges. Many of our local politicians continue to try and stop these arrests because things are obviously getting too close to home for them. I have two friends on the City council and they are all for bringing in the guard. eyes are being opened.
DOC unnamed state all institutions are infiltrated by gangsters, dirty cops, military personnel if you were a baddie that is how you would learn the know
Dekalb county had a police officer that was a Gangster Disciple a few years back.
Amazing how they were found out. Not surprising it goes on.
One thing I do find amazing is who makes up the crazy surnames mentioned here..
Are there no John’s Mick’s or Pat’s in the bus anymore?
Sadly, a story like this in America is no longer surprising.
I’ve long believed this is not uncommon, and involves public officials throughout this country. It will be very difficult but unless we want to live on a war footing with Mexico, Central and South America it must be done. The cartels have insinuated themselves all over small town America. These are the “last mile” elements in the cartel network.
I just finished reading “The Fort Bragg Cartel” by Seth Harp. It is timely and details some of the drug use and trafficking by JSOC special forces operators as well as their involvement in murder, gun and human trafficking. Most interesting part is how upper level command covers for them when they are caught by law enforcement. The SYSTEM is corrupt to the core, from it’s tail to it’s head. Hegseth needs to address this aspect of military overhaul. I empathize with the operators because of how they are used and discarded by the SYSTEM…suicide rate 3x higher than other military units. They need Cathy O’Brien as a consultant for holistic mental health services to these operators.
Though my knowledge is fifty years old, the Feds should take a good, hard look at Kleberg County, Texas, as well as neighboring Counties. Drugs from Nuevo Laredo passed through the area on their way north and east.
Kleberg County is/was a dry County, mandated by Mrs. Kleberg in her gift of land, etcetera.
In the seventies, the only 3.2% beer joint in Kingsville, home of the King Ranch, and NAS Kingsville, was owned and operated by the County Judge’s son.
Love this! Busted for receiving bribes. May we see many more. Strong laws, enforcement and consequences are the best way to fight corruption. I’m glad to see it but still think we need much stronger consequences for criminal activity in all countries. Reducing the consequences of crime has been one of leftist’s biggest weapons.
People and businesses are deterred from crime when the consequences are strong enough. Putting the lawbreakers in prison is also effective because they can’t continue lawbreaking and hurting innocent people when incarcerated.
I read about illegals being arrested and deported and I’m all for it but what about the companies who hired them? There needs to be stronger consequences for the employers too. It is a monumental task to change America from her heavy economic dependence on illegal labor but it’s worth doing. Immigration can be good if more workers are needed but it must be managed properly.
Are they attempting to re-create Eddie Murphy movies Beverly Hills Cop in real life ?
The Detroit Police Department ran drugs for many years and the police chief even made appearances in the movie.
The weakest link is always that race….
Now expose the US Government’s involvement with the cartels.
How much of this goes on with other public officials……including CONGRESS!
Prove to me some of these rat Democrats…maybe even rat rinos are on not the take!
We know they take money from big pharma to give them cover and protect them…in turn they get paid!
The administration….while in power….should be doing a lot of digging…uncovering corruption that up to now, has been covered up and protected by the establishment.
Take em down!
