Last time I was in Vancouver, it was unrecognizable as a Canadian City.
It was all Asians and East Indians. We walked down the Main Street, I forget what its called, but I saw about 5 white people, out of thousands. I mean, Im Native, so im pretty dark too, but it was weird.
Then, my friend took me for a ride by Hastings, I think it was? It was block after block of junkies, mostly white, shooting up in plain view, smoking crack and meth too, without a care in the world.
My friend lives in Richmond, and there was not a white person to be seen in his neighborhood. All the homes were owned by Asians. He pointed out he was literally the only white guy that owned a home there. His wife is Chinese! lmao! Mail order bride. She is good people though. She was aGold Medalist in indoor cycling as well. We did the tour of the city, and it was like being in another country.
All in all, my holiday was very strange. I felt like a foreigner in my home country, needless to say. Lots of money in Vancouver, thats for sure. When I saw the Harbor, crossing over the bridge from Richmond to the City, all those yachts were hard to miss. The biggest one was a massive black yacht, all blacked out, it was pretty cool looking. I asked my friend who owned it, he said a Chinese billionaire….
