When we returned him to the Senate in Nov’24, the first thing he did was support TX-Cornyn for Majority Leader.
When he discovered that he was one of the “frosted”, his true reaction was elation over a newly discovered grandstand.
Look for a presidential run in the 2030s.
Hawley, as Missouri Attorney General, ran the railroading of the sitting Republican Governor, Eric Greitens. Targeting a political opponent – not his opponent, but the uniparty’s opponent. He’s just a running dog for the uniparty. Greitens was taken out right after he began cutting their cash cow – low income housing and that was just going to be the beginning. Hawley thinks he is going to be President – just like Ted Cruz. BC is right. He’s a skunk.
That is how I feel about mark wayne mullethead mullins in Oklahoma. He seems to be talking good now. He has a horrible history and supports rhinos. Many people are snowed on him. I will say he talks good now, but I’ve watched him over the years. He was against Trump until he wasn’t like JD Vance, like John Thune, etc…

You will never vote for term limits, but always vote for a raise

We know it has failed and is failing. Both sides.

There’s still a chance to prep up, but the clock is running out in certain states to be able to arm yourself and family. These states are using their super majorities to pass laws that are not Constitutional, but unfortunately are backed by county, state and even appellate court judges sympathetic to their cause.
Until we get a Supreme Court ruling that affirms that states have no legal right to usurp the 2nd amendment by writing laws that infringe on our right to keep and bear arms we are in peril.

the secret police spy state in order to maintain complicity with Congress will of course cover their bases. this should suprise no one in Congress after the last time they were caught installing spyware on computers that a special congressional committe was examining the role that the cia had in developing torture and black sites, and rendition sites. the CIA and FBI were concerned about who in that committee would be more likely to attempt some kinds of consequences and exposure, and then they targeted this people and got them back into compliance, usually from the others on the committee also have played a role in the conspiracy, or at the very least knew about it but did not make issue or ask any effing questions.
so we can’t be suprised to learn the all of congress and nearly anyone of political or economic or influence level of power. they are ALL under some kind of data hoovering. it’s just how Congress made this lawful in the patriot act, the usa freedom act. Congress intentionally permitted gaping holes in how these spying programs can exist and how they can be used. but conspicuously and despite the hundreds of thousands of KNOWN violations to access and query this massive database of everything, congress has determined to not add any consequences for using these same powers unlawfully. the entire foundation of this spying system is based on a secret full stop secret court and judge, who will never reveal the investigations ongoing a subject (unless of course, the leak can harm a political adversary), with zero serious consequences for using these powers criminally.
so what I am saying is that if Congress wanted to remove this unlawful power, they must add to the law a provision that is clear that any violations actually have terms.
But if they haven’t thought of doing that, really tells you exactly how Congress enjoys having information before anyone else. intelligence, the crown jewel of any enterprise, criminal or not.
so Congress really isn’t interested in shutting any of this down.
I chalk this up as a classic congressional limited hang out.

I think Congress exempted themselves from this type of data collection sometime last year. Making them above the law.

Donald Trump is at fault for Bondi. I gave him a pass for his first four years because he didn’t know D.C.. Trump has done a lot of good things but he’s also had screw ups. Trump putting Susie Wiles in there was an awful choice. Bondi is on Trump and nobody else, Just like Bolton. Bondi loves the camera just like Trump… Some people on this site have a hard time seeing Trump’s mistakes….

At a bare minimum, theater such as today’s with the Senate, puts the facts on the official government records.
What gets done with the formal record by the national archivist will be interesting to follow up on, assuming the same archivist who used their authority to come up with the reasoning behind the raid on Mar-a-Lago has already been fired. If that same person is there, the testimonies might just disappear.
