President Donald Trump has announced via Truth Social, his intent to designate Antifa as a major terrorist organization, operating within the United States.

It will be interesting to watch how the Dept of Homeland Security, FBI, Dept of Justice and U.S. State Department respond to this intended designation.
For many years we have watched the various assemblies of Revolutionary Communists (RevCom), Occupy Wall Street (OWS), Black Lives Matter (BLM) and personnel related to these organizations, evolve and align into the organization of radical leftists now known as Antifa.
Previously, despite their funding, organized and coordinated activities, the FBI had called them a “movement and ideology” and not an organization. However, their organizational model should not be hard to unravel. There is a funding mechanism for these activities which should be easy for government officials to research.
In the 2020 election the domain registry of Antifa.Com had a landing page of JoeBiden.com [background]. Various off-shoots of the leftist cause, anarchists, occupy, blm and pro-Palestinian agitators all align with the ideology of the foot soldiers who take to the streets and create chaos.
Perhaps no other person is more responsible for tracking Antifa’s domestic network of activity than Andy Ngo [Twitter Feed Here]. Ngo has confronted the group, tracked their activity, documented their violence and traced major parts of their organization.
As Andy Ngo said in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk shooting, “Expect a lot of liberal and left-wing media propaganda the next few days about Antifa. They will say the movement doesn’t organize into groups and that those involved are peaceful, racial justice activists simply opposed to fascism. Don’t let them get away with lying.”
Mr Ngo puts the challenges of labeling Antifa as a terrorist group into context here. It will be difficult for President Trump to assemble a legally binding designation against the reality of constitutional protections surrounding the First Amendment. However, organized criminal activity under existing conspiracy and RICO statutes is entirely possible.
My personal opinion of the situation is less about labels and designations and more about just confronting the violent activity as it percolates. Arrest the people for their direct behavior, in the moment the behavior takes place. If they block or impede federal authorities or create civil unrest through violent or unlawful activity, then arrest them immediately.
Again, this is going to come down to how the Dept of Justice and FBI approaches the investigations of individuals and targeting mechanisms of the operation that Antifa uses. WATCH:

I draw your attention just to the Presidents Memo to investigate Federal Grant abuses just for lobbying.
The problem is there is a 180 day window and no way for people trying to report the abuses to authority.
For instance, a friend started the day after the memo was issued (August 29). They have tried various avenues (legislator, OMB, and IG). They can’t even get a contact which they can provide the documentation.

INVESTIGATIONS INTO USE OF FEDERAL GRANT FUNDS:
Today, President Donald J. Trump signed a Presidential Memorandum to increase the integrity of Federal grantmaking by preventing its diversion to political lobbying activities.
The Memorandum directs the Attorney General to investigate whether Federal grant funds are being illegally used to support lobbying activities and to take appropriate enforcement action.
The Memorandum further directs the Attorney General to report to the President within 180 days on the progress of her investigation.
The money is not hard to find and who is behind it. Most already know the financiers. Now the question is will anything done about it other than WORDS. The financiers are above the law and untouchable and most know it but do not want to admit it.

The police refuse to respond to the neighbors complaints.
Here’s how events in Portland have developed so far:
June 2: Federal authorities arrest an asylum-seeker at Portland’s Immigration Court. Observers believe it to be the first such arrest in Portland in Trump’s accelerating immigration dragnet.
June 4: Federal officers detain three protesters who had been blocking a van at the ICE building that they believed was headed to Tacoma, where ICE has a much larger detention facility. Federal authorities make another arrest of an asylum-seeker in Portland Immigration Court.
June 6: Protests erupt in Los Angeles as federal agents conduct immigration sweeps in the city. Trump soon vows to send 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles, sparking wider protests, including in Portland.
June 8 — June 13: Portland police clear a barricade protesters had set up in front of the ICE building. The next day, Police Chief Bob Day says officers will no longer help clear barricades and “will not be engaging with any kind of perceived or actual support of vans or transports or anything of that nature.”
Due to Oregon’s “sanctuary” law, no state or local law enforcement agencies are allowed to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.
Protests continue, with federal agents deploying tear gas. Portland police arrest 13 people in this period for crimes such as arson, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest, with 10 alone the night of June 12.
June 14: Hundreds of people protest outside the facility following a “No Kings” march earlier that day attended by tens of thousands of demonstrators. Several people use a stop sign as a makeshift battering ram and break the front door of the ICE building. Portland police declare a riot and federal officers deploy smoke, tear gas, flash grenades and other projectiles. Police make three arrests.

July 8: Trump’s “Border Czar” Tom Homan name-checks Portland, pledging that immigration agents would be “doubling down, tripling down” on enforcement. “I’m going to Portland,” Homan said. “I’m going out there. They are not going to bully us.”
July 11: Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem says anarchists and antifa-affiliated groups in Portland were publishing names, photos and personal addresses of ICE officers.
July 19: Around 60 people gathered at the ICE building and several called 911 dispatchers about an altercation with a counterprotester armed with a pepperball gun, according to 911 call records. The crowd dwindled to about 30 by around midnight. “The groups were low energy and seated quietly,” a police sergeant wrote in an email to his superiors, records show.
July 25: The first hearing begins in Multnomah County Circuit Court for a lawsuit filed by the resident of the nearby low-income housing complex. It asks a judge to force the city to enforce noise ordinances around the ICE building. Top Police Bureau officials are called to testify.
Aug. 14: Multnomah County Senior Judge Ellen Rosenblum, a former Oregon attorney general, rules police aren’t required to enforce noise rules at protests outside the ICE facility.
Aug. 20: Homan visits Portland’s ICE facility. In a message posted to social media platform X, Homan says he visited to let agents “know that President Trump and I have their six” — a reference to having someone’s back.
Aug 21: A protester who was shoved from behind and tackled by federal authorities notifies the Department of Homeland Security he plans to sue, according to a copy of his tort claim notice. The protester, Daryn Herzberg, claimed that federal officers pinned him down during a protest Aug. 13 and “held him in teargas” for several minutes. Officers tackled him again three days later, he claimed, with one of them repeatedly hitting Herzberg’s face into the ground.
Aug. 26: Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer tells Trump, “I hope you will come to Portland, Oregon and crack down.”
Sept. 1: Following a large protest downtown, over 100 people march from a nearby park to the ICE building. Some protesters bring a makeshift guillotine. Federal officers deploy chemical gas and pepperballs at the crowd.
Sept. 4: Fox News airs a report about the Labor Day protest with footage of 2025 protests outside ICE. Mixed in misleadingly are clips from 2020 protests. One shows a federal officer pepper spraying a person in downtown Portland. Another shows protesters burning the base of the Thompson Elk Fountain.
Sept. 5: Citing television news reports, Trump says he is weighing federal intervention in Portland due to the protests. ”They’ve ruined that city,” Trump says. “It’s like living in hell.” Gov. Tina Kotek decries the “threats to deploy National Guard troops in Portland” as “absurd, unlawful and un-American.”
Sept. 8: The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 26 people have been charged with federal offenses at the ICE building since June 13.

When talking about this, it might be helpful to say thst the ICE building is in the South Waterfront area which is a nice apartment area and the apartments buildings are a mix of multistory buildings, some 4 stories, 3 and a few at tall, 8,9 stories. They house mainly younger people, and alot of OHSU employees. It’s not an area of homeless, druggies and memntally ill.. Although its Portland, they are there too,, just not many. The neighborhood is cool, hip and very walkable. Parking for residents is underground. The ICE building it at the south end and borders an area of business, a Tesla dealer and then a large park on the river. They want to build a major league baseball stadium in this area to the north, although that seems unlikely. The protests, when held are loud, really loud and disruptive. Rents are not cheap and going up, of course, and a nice place to live is turning into a nightmare for residents. It is a neighborhood that if Antifa manages to destroy it will be a huge loss. The Portland idiots though are so far left, to the point of absurdity, intervention would be helpful. There are no consequences for these protesters. If arrested or ticketed, it goes nowhere.
I’ve met Lori Chavez DeRemer, I’m in what was her district. She is one of. the good guys but hated around here because she is conservative. There are conservatives in Portland but none elected because they cheat. Really cheat. Before federal intervention, do the voter rolls. Just saying.

This is the first and most basic step against organized crime: “intolerance.” We are mad as hell and we’re not going to take it anymore. You will be arrested, and you won’t be promptly released, and you will stand trial for what you have done.

This is the most pleased I’ve ever been with an action taken by the Trump Administration. If you study the history of Bolshevism, they are following that exact map here in terms of violence on both persons and property and assassination. The Far Left in Russia was active for decades before they finally wrested control of the government. The Czar did not act decisively, and paid for it with his and his whole family’s lives.
While I believe in free speech, advocating violence at a targeted group or persons is a form of intimidation akin to the ‘yelling fire in a crowded theater’ exception to that. This should easily pass any legal challenge once beyond the leftist partisans in the lower courts. The list of acts of chaos and mischief these groups have been responsible for the last 10 years is exhaustive. Disrupting the rallies of political opponents, assaulting local and federal LEOs, property damage in the multiples of millions, disrupting commerce and infrastructure, seizing control of local property and expelling police, and, finally, out-and-out assassination. The media has carried their water and called these ‘protests’, to falsely associate them with the non-violence principles of the Civil Rights movement of the 60s. They do not follow and have never advocated such protests. They have always taken their tactics from other violent communist revolutionaries throughout history.
Once the violent far left has been sequestered, then we can ‘turn down the temperature’ in this country, and get back to civil discourse.
As Tim Pool (who is under constant death threat from these people) has pointed out, Antifa is NOT domestic. It is international. There are chapters all over Europe. An Antifa member from a foreign country can come to America and quickly coordinate with those here to join actions because their tactics are universal. When a person burns a US Flag as a means of protest, they usually get arrested for violating local fire codes. The same can be applied with “mostly peaceful” protests of AntiFa
AntiFa holds the same role as Tren de Aragua and MS13. They are the destabilizing foot soldiers for the usurpers who deploy them in the attempt to overthrow the legitimate government.
They are protected and promoted by American Leftists, aka Democratic party, for the same reasons.
Antifa is funded by some entity. Shut them down. IMO, Antifa is an FBI construct and was previously funded by USAID. We’ll see what happens now.

When the FBI takes a knee to support BLM they are openly aligning with Antifa and the violent advocacy it carries; and not being subtle about sticking a finger in the eye of the U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr.
Once we accept the FBI is a weaponized political agency it makes sense they would only target people adverse to their political agenda; and more harshly target anyone whom they would view as a political opponent (Roger Stone). Somehow the FBI found the motivation and resources to send more heavily armed agents to arrest 68-year-old Roger Stone than ever stepped foot in Benghazi, Libya. This also explains why the FBI refused to deal with FBI chief legal counsel Dana Boente when his corrupt activity was discovered within an attempt to overthrow President Trump. Severe politicization also reconciles how Robert Mueller and Andrew Weissmann were able to instruct over 50 FBI agents to investigate a transparently non-existent Russian collusion conspiracy for over two years; as part of a strategy to help democrats win the 2018 election.

The FBI is a U.S. version of the Russian “State Police”; and the FBI is deployed -almost exclusively- to attack domestic enemies of those who control government, while they protect the interests of the U.S. Fourth Branch of Government. That is the clear and accurate domestic prism to contextualize their perceived mission: “domestic violent extremists pose the greatest threat” to their objective.
Put another way, “We The People”, who fight against government abuse and usurpation, are the FBI’s actual and literal enemy.
Let me be very clear with another brutally obvious example. Antifa could not exist as an organization, capable to organize and carry out violent attacks against their targets, without the full support of the FBI. If the FBI wanted to arrest members of Antifa, who are actually conducting violence, they could do it easily – with little effort.
It is the absence of any action, by the FBI toward Antifa, that tells us the FBI is enabling that violent extremist behavior to continue. Once you accept that transparent point of truth, then you realize the FBI definition of domestic violent extremism is something else entirely.
The FBI is not a law enforcement or investigative division of the U.S. Department of Justice. The FBI is a political weapon of a larger institution that is now focused almost entirely toward supporting a radical communist agenda to destroy civil society in the United States.
I think Trump realizes that he will need more help than the DOJ and FBI will provide. Declaring them terrorists allows other weapons to be at his disposal. Ultimately, his administration is going after the financial backers. These organizations will wither on the vine when the money dries up. Arresting the pawns would take longer to stop them.
