The grand pomp and indulgence were on full display as the British Royal Family hosted President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump for a state dinner.
During the historic banquet, King Charles toasted Britain’s ‘remarkable bond’ with the US and in a warm and witty speech welcomed the Trumps to Windsor Castle. Meanwhile, in his toast, Trump boasted that the United States and the United Kingdom had brought peace, prosperity, and innovation around the world, and congratulated King Charles on having at least one good son (lol). Today’s Britain has much more of a ‘remarkable bond’ with the Fascist Germany of the 1930’s.
Without a doubt. Charles the Bonehead leading that charge.
Charles the Turd is not known to be a MAGA/Trump fan.
The monarchy no longer has a political or executive role, having a less formal role as ‘Head of Nation’. The Sovereign acts as a focus for national identity, unity and pride; gives a sense of stability and continuity; officially recognizes success and excellence; and supports the ideal of voluntary service.
Whatever Charles believes has no baring on the governing body. He does not even have the authority to remove Prince Harry from the line of succession.
So the king says the US and UK have a remarkable bond. That bond exists because we shared a common culture and morality. Now the king is doing everything he can to destroy the Britain that we have always known. Will the bond continue?
Charles is old weak hippie who talks to plants. William is no better. They don’t care, Queenie was richest woman in the world. They hide it better than most people.

He just said he shook 150 hands…just before dinner…now multiply that by the number of events President Trump has had including meetings…everyone wants to shake that man’s hand…and that has been the case for well over 240 days…and that’s just counting since he took office!
Not to mention the campaign trail and transition…that man has been shaking a ton of hands every day for months…it takes a toll…some folks can be very vigorous hand shakers as well!
How is this some medical mystery that President Trumps hand shaking hand is sore, swollen, bruised or bandaged…right where another person’s thumb would press down when shaking hands?

His medical condition, believe it or not called “fat fingers” has been well discussed in the past. May be a fall out from his recent cancers treatments too. Drugs for “old people” have some pretty awful sad effects, even worse when they call compete with each other .
He’s had hand issues for years, especially fingers that look like sausages.
Not sure what the issue is but his doctors are keeping an eye on it.
Camila must like those fingers that look like sausages, if you get my drift.

I doubt POtuS is still 6’3″ at his age. He’s two years older than I and I’ve lost 2″ in height. I notice he’s bent over quite a bit since last being POTUS. I’d venture he’s about 6’1/5″. I stood next to him once at a golf tournament and I pegged him then at 6’2″ or a smidgen more. Seems from what I’ve read that was fairly accurate back then, 2007.

I noticed the color difference in the photos on a couple of other sites….what the heck is up with that?? I know we have other things to worry about, but that is just a visable oddity of how pics/videos can be manipulated—if they purposely do it with coloration of pics, you know they can make other “changes” to hands, facial expressions, etc
They can even change the faces. That’s why you can’t trust photos anymore.

What Trump could have played for King Charles at the State Dinner last night at Windsor Castle. An American King Charles:

Not once did King Charles looked at Marco Rubio to his left whenever he turned to his left during his speech; not even when he toasted Marco, he did not look at him. Very quickly within the first few seconds, Marco shifted his seat to his left. Body language apparent. Toward the end, whenever Charles turned to his left, Marco did not look up at Charles any more.
Isn’t it still currently the King’s position to remain neutral? To maintain diplomatic courtesy? Even if currently the King’s role is largely ceremonial and symbolic, his political neutrality still stands? He may deal with his subjects and government members as he wishes even if unacceptable, but isn’t failing to acknowledge a foreign key policy figure contrary to established protocol?
He crossed that line, nichan, when he received Zelensky at Highgrove…twice.
And again with the Islamic invaders of the country of which he is monarch by hosting a Ramadan meal at Windsor…on Ash Wednesday…while outside HM Enforcers, following orders, arrested Christians who were protesting.
He spits on the memory of his mother who always remained neutral and kept her own counsel.

So, did Mrs. Trump switch out belts between photos, or is that some weird glitch?
Just the lighting. On some, the dress is bright yellow with a lavender belt; in others, it’s a muted yellow either a pink belt.
Kate’s dress looks ivory in some photos, darker beige in others.
The shoes are, I am told, are lavender to match the belt.
No, it’s the same outfit, but it looks like one of the photos was shot through a color filter.
I was relieved to see the top photo, which I feel certain more accurately shows the true colors of the First Lady’s gown and sash. The photo below it shows the sash as a dull gray, the gown as a hideous yellow and her hair and skin tone as totally unnatural.
It reminded me how hard some people have worked to get unflattering lighting and photos of President Trump in petty and hateful attempts to simply make him look bad. Such was the origin of the ‘orange man bad’ taunt, for example. So tacky.
I don’t know if that explains the poor quality of some of the photos of this visit, or if it’s just bad lighting and color filters, but I’m glad none of the questions or criticisms seen yesterday about the First Lady’s appearance were justified.
As always, she was the epitome of beauty and good taste.

Celebrating the fading dynasty of a once magnificent country. President Trump loves it, the royalty, the pomp and ceremony. I hope it doesn’t cloud his understanding of how mischievous the demons are driving this nation into putrid ash…and trying to take the world down with them.

As a golf fan, and a bit of a golf historian, it was good to see Sir Nick Faldo at the table. He was a great professional golfer, and an incredible golf announcer.
Of what use is this Monarchy? They don’t set an agenda on anything. No one can run for the position of King or Queen..purely bloodline nonsense. “I’m in charge ‘cause I said so.” They could sell off the Monarch jewels, throw out their Muslim invaders, and become a Republic. Regarding UK royal family. I’ve always figured the House of Windsor was just the last family to lead UK when it was decided chopping off heads of the losers. Right place at the right time is all they are.

It was like a mini Trump rally in the UK… and together we’re going to Make Britian Great Again… ah well, missed opportunity.
President Trump gave a good speech. I’m glad the royals rolled out the red carpet for him. No one knows how to do opulence like the Brits, but I found myself getting very distracted by the seating arrangement and the huge golden monstrosity in the middle of the table. It looked like this blocked Melania’s view of President Trump, as well as King Charles’s view of Camilla, although Charles could see Melania very well. Prince William’s view of President Trump was also blocked by this monstrosity. Was this by design? If so, who made those decisions? Poor Melania got stuck sitting next to Camilla the whole night. I bet she didn’t find that altogether very pleasant, but at least she had Prince William on the other side. Lol, the palace intrigue….
