There is a great deal of psychological darkness in the background of the Charlie Kirk murder. I strongly urge readers to stay grounded to faith as you engage in review of any aspect of this story. The war between good and evil is taking place in the battle for minds.
Originally reported by the Washington Post, apparently Charlie Kirk’s assassin, Tyler Robinson, confessed in a chat room just a few hours before he turned himself in.
WASHINGTON POST – […] The 22-year-old suspect in Charlie Kirk’s killing appears to have confessed to friends in an online chat shortly before turning himself in to law enforcement, according to two people familiar with the chat and screenshots obtained by The Washington Post.
“Hey guys, I have bad news for you all,” said a message from an account belonging to the suspect, Tyler Robinson, on the online platform Discord. “It was me at UVU yesterday. im sorry for all of this.”

Additionally, as state law enforcement and FBI now say they are expanding their investigation to identify if there was a network working with Tyler Robinson (which seems obvious based on the Discord chat), attention is now being paid to militant transgender groups and NGOs in the Utah area who seem to connect to Robinson and his transgender boyfriend Lance Twiggs.
All of the research being done is preliminary; however, there does appear to be a Utah network of people within the militant left, connected to both Antifa outlooks and armed transgender activism. The scope of how the networks connect to various funding mechanisms is not yet clear, but radicalization does not happen in a vacuum.
“Armed Queers SLC” and a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) known as “Utah Global Diplomacy,” partly funded by the UN appear to be two groups in the region with connections to the overall militant transgender movement: a preliminary motive being explored by federal investigators.
The fact that Tyler Robinson was in a Discord chat group with approximately 30 other individuals, does indicate some network of mutually aligned interests that seem to circle around far-left transgender activism.

The message was sent from Robinson’s account to a small private group of online friends, the person said. Discord is working closely with the FBI and local authorities, providing information about Robinson’s online activities on the platform, the person added.
Discord has said that an internal investigation found “no evidence that the suspect planned this incident or promoted violence on Discord.”

The only response from Robinson’s account came the next day with the message announcing, “bad news i’m surrendering through a sheriff friend in a few moments,” the message, posted at 7:57 p.m. local time in Utah, continued. “thanks for all the good times and laughs, you’ve all been so amazing, thank you all for everything.” (source)

Don’t gamers tend to isolate themselves in front of their game box and or platforms? Living that many hours in a virtual arena cannot be healthy?

I am a solid, Bible-believing Christian, but I am also a loner. In my free time, I read, I write, and, yes, I play video games – usually single-player. I don’t really participate in any of the online gaming networks, either. I’m interested in the stories, not the gaming community.
I realized some time ago that although I could try to build a social network, I am not willing to put in the time/effort required to do so. I grew up very alone and that’s how I continue to live my life. But that doesn’t make me delusional.
Please do not lump all of us gamers and loners in one bucket with the crazies. We are as unique and individual as anyone else.

Fair enough and well said, but I do think there is a major difference between playing games and being an online gamer. Though I am far from an expert, online gaming as I understand it involves far more role playing. One of my friends who is an online gamer also told me that they find online places to hide out which sometimes involves some hacking.

My daughter asked me to get her a playstation a few years ago…I bought here a paddleboard instead. At first she was kind of disappointed, until she and her friends got out of the water. Now its what they do to have fun.

Very good points. I was married with 2 small children when Pong came out. I bought it and tried to play it. It drove me crazy with anxiety. Didn’t play it long at all. I grew up outside.
As for football fans, they socialize at the tailgate and go in the stadium and yell and scream. In my mind this releases tensions and anxieties built up the previous week. They leave the stadium tired and relaxed whether disappointed or happy with the outcome.
And football is not a 24/7/365 pastime. Gaming can be.

I refused to buy the games and hook them up to family TV. As a family we skiied, hiked, traveled, surfed, dined out, without devices, visited out of state relatives and hung out with like minded families, no devices, no TV. I took it one step further, I split the 100$ cable cost back then, between the three. One fall after 3 years of doing this I did not turn the cable back on in the fall as agreed. No cable was discovered by my daughters boyfriend when March madness arrived. LOL. To this day, one has no TV in the house, one limits kids to 45 minutes, she is one with 4 boys, and one kinda sorta watches. We are blessed

had no TV, or phone. We had to get a phone, because my grandparents were getting older and frail.
Until then, we read books, comics, played games, got together with neighbors, all of whom were

My parents decided that they were too old to make the drive, do the upkeep. So 2 of my siblings
took the place over. It’s been renovated 4 times over the years, and now has cable and wifi. I enjoyed
going to the lake much more before it was “wired”.
We went through the same thing with the game boy back in the 90’s with our kids. Refused to buy one. No game stations. Limited the time online playing games.
You are absolutely right – we need to help our kids make good choices. I have zero tolerance for sitting around playing video games especially young minds that are being formed. There are so many (questionable) subliminal messages even in children’s cartoons that it’s impossible for parents to police it all 100% of the time. Better to steer the kids into some physical activity instead.

Not all games are equal- some edify, others tear down. Some are more addictive than others. Some have evil devs, storytellers, monetization strategies, and userbases, others don’t.

Just an observation from time I’ve spent on reddit: whenever I run across someone on the political left who is extremely aggressive, there’s a high correlation to gaming and mental illness in their post / comment histories. It’s probably 50-60%.
As others have speculated, I suspect it has to do with isolation and competition in an anonymous environment. Many, MANY of them will have comment histories in bipolar, mental illness, depression related subs. Gaming culture is very sick. They’re vicious little edgelords.
Speaking of reddit, the usual suspects are flooding the zone (even now) with claims that the right is falsely blaming this on the Left, and that Tyler Robinson is some kind of disaffected MAGA Groyper (don’t even bother.) I’ll throw this out. I’ve noticed that kids are desensatized to onscreen violence these days. Noticed it
with my own kids and their friends. A lot of things that would have been considered horrific in movies,
games, and anime years ago doesn’t seem to scare or appall them. Not completely desensatized, just takes
something brutally graphic to register, sometimes.
My kids used to get mad if I was watching them because I would make them turn off some of their anime.
Digimon was one I particularly hated. I noticed early on that much of what they were watching was unprovoked
agression. It seemed like at least every 30 seconds on some of their shows, someone would yell “I’m going to
DESTROY you!!” And, what had occcurred immediately before wasn’t worthy of “destroying”.
Completely flipped out when my 13 year old son brought home a CD of “Trigun”. It featured someone who
dressed up like a priest, and killed people with a gun shaped like a cross. Made him take it out of the player.
Then, I hid it, telling him he wasn’t going to get it back until it’s due date at the rental place. And, gave him
about 10 minute lecture on what all was wrong with it, especially mocking the cross and turning it into a
weapon.
While I am no expert, gaming as a manifestation of the state of culture is an issue I take some small time to try to follow. Gamers actually have been at the forefront of cultural resistance to ‘woke’ in all it’s manifestations. The interest is selfish, as most human interests are.
The wokesters have captured substantial parts of the gaming industry (1) and the games produced have become slop that is designed for social engineering. It has become so bad that much of it can’t even be considered in the category of iirc Coughlin & Higgins ‘deep conditioning’ (subtle and repetitive) but is just in your face garbage (attempting to normalize the offensive) which triggers a hindbrain revulsion response in the customer. The vast majority of gamers do not want this and have stopped paying money to the corporations pushing it. They want games that cater to THEM, that are optimized for THEIR entertainment, not their ‘reeducation’.
Most gamers will accept a small degree of ‘woke’ in a product, but the line of tolerance has been crossed too many times. Until the gaming industry in the West retrenches it will remain in a well-deserved state of collapse. This is, so far, merely corporate patterns and it remains to be seen whether the internationalist business class who have been funding the madness are more loyal to making money or whether they will simply throw more money at new corporate patterns.
The collapse is still ongoing, damage having been done in trust and reputation but not yet fully financially manifest. Watch for giants like Bethesda to get hammered as their new flagship products are released and fail.
However, to address your original point about a “link between gaming – furries – transgenderism”, I think this part of gaming is and has always been extremely small. Gamers and gaming as a recreational activity are not causing this in the larger society. If we had a functional right wing in this country (and no, in spite of the leftist retards incessantly calling the Republican Party right wing movement (2), it is not because it’s leadership is left wing corporatist), it would be funding superbased games celebrating masculinity and our cultural heritage. Please understand that I’ve reached the age where I’ve seen something and will try to offer a clue, but I’m not up for reading it twice.
I would argue that the GamerGate movement, starting in 2016, proves just how anti-woke the gaming community can be. In fact, if I was going to categorize gamers broadly, I would say that they’re some of the most libertarian young people out there. GamerGate really started the Millennial and Gen Z pushback against the SJW culture.
However, this isn’t the 1990s anymore, where gaming was some kind of weird little thing only some people did. It’s penetrated deeply across all demographic groups, young men more than young women. There are definitely issues with it, especially when it comes to young men and psychological development. (There are parallel problems faced by young women in certain online communities too, but that’s a different issue). And like somebody else mentioned, there’s a big push on the part of the game developers to make everything extra super insanely over the top woke right now.
There are weird little enclaves within the wider gaming community, though, that are all-in on this transgender nonsense. There are gaming competitions out there where you can literally go through their contestants year by year and see the transgender contagion spreading like wildfire.
But it’s not gaming in and of itself. Gaming is just the current thing. Twenty years ago it would have been a private Geocities group. Ten years ago, a role-playing group based on Tumblr. Ten years from now, it’ll probably be almost entirely hyper-isolated AI addicts. The bigger problem is the anonymity of the internet, your ability to present yourself any way you want, the lack of real-world consequences and face-to-face feedback, and the fact that no matter how messed up you are, somebody’s going to tell you that it’s wonderful.

I have little trust. I think there needs to be full transparency to others besides the FBI controlling the whole investigation. Not any of the other alphabet organizations either: ATF, CIA, DEA — and do so in such a way that things can’t be shoved under the rug.

Charlie was for the death penalty, yet a staunch opponent of killing human fetuses. Not a contradiction. Tyler Robinson was a beloved son from a good family. He was created in the image of God. He was corrupted and became a murderer. Our current justice system is not effective in preventing murder. If we as a nation decide to up the punishment with more capital punishment, and the Judge or jury decide that’s what his crime deserves — then by the authority (all of which comes from God) vested on the legislators, law enforcement, and judges — he should get the death penalty.
Tyler Robinson can confess, repent, and still be with Jesus and Charlie– and as other writers have said, Charlie would welcome him. And still pay the just price for killing Charlie.
But we as a nation must get our act together and learn right from wrong, good from evil, and recognize the author and Creator of every thing good, and righteous. We must recognize that evil is in everything where man is involved, and make allowances for that — including this investigation.

When a kid spends hours at a time completely focused on a game where the way to win is to be the all powerful entity who kills the most people, is it any wonder that sometimes that fantasy world crosses over into reality? Video gaming is a passive outlet for aggression, but it doesn’t surprise me that a kid who feels powerless in real life would decide that the way to get back at those who he feels have hurt him is to take that game experience into the world.

Is this the case? What about the bullet? Where has it gone? What ballistics tests are currently being conducted?

I get the Epoch Times news paper. Recently they had an article and full page graphic of how gaming affects different areas of the brain. Their shop sells the graphic.
In early 1998 my employer at the time sent me along with many colleagues overseas for a big software project. Someone set up this game Quake II so we could play over the network. The game involved hunting down your opponents while moving through tunnels. I remember going back to my hotel room at the end of the day and laying down to rest but in my brain it still felt like I was going through the d*mn tunnels, WTH?!?! It was frightening enough to get me to avoid all video games from that day on.
It’s a bit amusing to see so many posters here claim that the mere act of chatting in a Discord group is clear evidence of there being a larger conspiracy. The overwhelming majority of individuals under the age of 35 will have groups of online friends they chat with, and Discord is currently the most popular platform when it comes to gaming or other “nerd” interests. The only thing I’m seeing in the released messages is a group of people being shocked by the shooting, and the shooter confessing to them and saying goodbye once he knows he is about to be arrested.
As with most groups, there’s a bit of a problem on here with people making wild assumptions about hobbies/platforms/demographics they have no experience with.

Personal story I have to tell.
My oldest daughter is pretty close to the assassin’s age. She had always been a normal, Christian kid, shy and not among the popular crowd, but she had a tight circle of friends going back to elementary school who were ‘good girls’. During her junior year which was right around the height of the covid hysteria, she started hanging out with a different group related to her activites in drama and school plays. She started dressing differently, more of what I guess her generation calls ’emo’ and mine would call punk or goth and at first I thought no big deal. Then she tried to come out as ‘lesbian’ which I knew was total, excuse my language, BULLCRAP. She was determined to force her conservative, Christian parents into accepting it, and we were determined not to. We knew we had to get her away from that new group of friends that were re-enforcing bad beliefs with each other.
Against conventional wisdom and the advice of family, we pulled her out of public school and put her in a small private Christian school her senior year, using the covid relief money from Congress (thank you Nancy Pelosi, ironically LOL). By being firm on our beliefs, and using every bit of leverage we had over her, we were able to turn it around. She is now a senior in college, and has a boyfriend who is a very impressive young man to me, dad. She attends church regularly and has even gotten involved in church missions with a college Christian organization.
But what is pertinent here is she was definitely groomed online. During covid when school closed for a period of time, all she had to do was sit around on her phone. When I started investigating, Instagram and Tumblr in particular were sending her an endless flood of notification emails promoting the LGBTQ agenda. There was a whole world of clothing and accessories that she was wearing that were meant to secretly signal being a lesbian to others who were into this online symbolism and language. I can see this Tyler kid clearly got into that same world my daughter did and never pulled out of it. His state was the eventual conclusion of continuing to go down that route. Oh how ANGRY my daughter was during her junior and senior high school years, suddenly out of nowhere. All of a sudden, she was vomiting this Marxist gobbledy-gook like she was a 40 year old professor of feminist studies. But you could tell it was canned propaganda because her arguments completely collapsed at the first hint of Socratic questioning from me. She had no defense. She was just repeating the script she was being fed in order to fit in with the group she’d found temporary belonging and status among.
Praise Jesus our prayers were heard, and our daughter left that phase behind and has made us so proud since!
They completely target online. My kids get all kinds of suggested content that is LBGTQ etc., where my husband and I do not. My teen daughter gets lots of transgender content as well as pro-abortion content which seems contradictory to me. My boys don’t seem to get as much gender/gay content.
Of note, numerous girls my daughter went to elementary school with declared themselves to be lesbians or bisexual in high school, while we haven’t heard that from any of the boys. These were all girls that went to public high school. The kids that went to private haven’t had this so far.

My hope and prayers for all three is that God will continue to watch over them and bless them abundantly.

Evidently it has been opined by several on line sources that Kirk’s bullet proof vest shielded his chest area as intended but the projectile broke up or fragmented when it struck that vest. Fragments glancing off the vest are what caused the wounds to Charlie Kirk’s throat area in their opinion. Seems perfectly valid and logical explanation.
The rifle in its entirety (IOW fully assembled) can be seen being carried from the roof in an expanded view of the video on a large monitor…..it cannot be picked out on an un-expanded small screen and especially can’t be seen on a smart phone.
Finally the rifle was IMHO partially disassembled into the stock and the receiver/barrel when he carried the parts to the shooting position. The telescopic sight may or may not have been still attached to the barrel/receiver. The back pack factored into concealing one or both parts. It looks like he had the barrel down his right pants leg much like a shop lifter conceals merchandise which explains that leg being held stiff under the cameras.
The give away is that the FBI located a screwdriver on the rooftop with the suspects DNA on it. He had to assemble parts of that weapon on the rooftop to make it fully functional. No other reason for his screwdriver to be there. One or two stock screws undone and a rifle stock is removed, easy. One or two screws replaced and a rifle is reassembled….again easy.
The simplest solution is always the best one. There are intentional division and diversion efforts ongoing on this very tree house to confuse and divide treepers.

In the video I saw of Charlie being hit by the bullet, it did take out the left side of his neck (or right when looking toward him). It was a very violent wound and I won’t describe what I saw (I still see it on repeat in my mind and wish I had never seen it). Suffice to say, that was not a survivable wound.

He grabbed it and jumped the rest of the way down and the rifle barrel is seen poking out of the towel. He rewraps the rifle and makes his way to the woods where he left it….
A sporterized mauser is what we’re talking about……..would only have a screw or two affixing the stock to barrel, a few moments with a screw driver and its in two pieces or back in one piece. Hang the barrel down you pants leg and the stock partially in the backpack and partially behind your belt at your back. No wonder he was stiff legged eh?
In addition sporterized military rifles one of the first steps is to shorten the barrel which could have been cut down to as little as 16 inches and still be legally classified as a rifle.
There are even take down models of the mauser action madenwhich quickly disassemble into three pieces of barrel, receiver and stock.
The rifle found wrapped in a towel with messages etched on the cartridge cases is a red herring. It was fully expected that it would be found. It probably has Tyler Robinson DNA and fingerprints. It is extremely unlikely that Charlie was hit with a round fired from a .30-06.
There are likely several million rifles in this country that have been built using receivers taken from Mauser 98 pattern rifles, many of which are untraceable. It was a good choice for this particular deception application.

I red an interesting commentary relating gamer/mental illness to the pandemic lockdowns. As a critical time in emotional and social development teenagers were shut down except for the on line community. Many of these desperately disturbed trans people are of an age where they were locked down and shut off from society. Strong mentally healthy individuals can adapt and survive this. Anyone weak or already suffering from mental illness would be more easily sucked into sick stuff. This “confession/apology” implies that he is telling the group something they didn’t know. Perhaps they really didn’t know SPECIFICALLY, or even generally. Perhaps SOME knew but not the group as a whole.
Or is Robinson putting up a smokecreen to get LE, when the messages are inevitably examined, to believe that no one else was involved, when they actually were?
Or is this his way of warning the group not to make comments that expose them to conspiracy or accessory charges? His post provides a line of defense if any group members are charged.
“I’m sorry for all of this” means he knows the others will be the subject of investigation and trouble at minimum.
Pardon my skepticism, which might be overreaching. The killer in this case was intelligent, if an idiot, and playing sophisticated games with communications might not be beyond him.
What if they were making plans for a future action but he jumped the gun and acted then realized he’d jeopardized the whole group and their hiding place. Knowing the game was up as the evidence grew stronger to the point his dad recognized him, he apologized for not only messing up future plans but bringing many of them out in the open.
His confessions take a lot of wind out of the patsy theory.

Just go and purchase the book ‘The Mind of Hitler’ written by Walter P Langer. Dr. Langer was commissioned by FDR to write the complete psychoanalysis of Hitler. In and of itself its a very good read, however the critical part is his analysis of what is and was known about the LGBTQ mind set. There’s a propensity to view themselves as super-human, they believe they are demi-God like and most of all they tend to be willing to join radical political movements. So none of this is new or some kind of cultural shift, its baked in the human characteristics cake. The federal government and related agencies are well aware of this and have been for longer than many of us have been alive. This is purely a radical political movement that is no different than the same end-game or characterstics as Hitler’s Germany and willingness to achieve his power by any means necessary.
I don’t really lump the L’s and G’s in with the rest, the rest seem to be completely histrionic antagonistic attention seekers who actually don’t want acceptance but want to shock and provoke and incite all of the time. They’re never happy. Using high doses of hormones of the opposite gender only amplifies their psychoses, it seems. Doesn’t sound right. If this was Tyler Robinson, wouldn’t it be “good news”. Wouldn’t the group already know it was him? Why would he take the time to incriminate himself in the first place? To me it sounds like someone impersonating Tyler Robinson.
It makes me wonder if maybe Robinson was threatening to do something and they were trying to talk him out of it. But omg if they knew in advance there was even a chance he was going to commit this crime I hope all of them end up in prison.
