The background issues highlight the inevitability of the latest developments. Before talking specifically about Ukraine, let’s first consider the individual parties within the so-called “coalition of the willing,” Great Britain, France and Germany.
All three major European economies are in trouble, along with the aggregate economy in Brussels which is heavily influenced by Germany, France and Italy.
Within Great Britain, Prime Minister Kier Starmer is in a hot mess. “Starmer faces populists both left and right, with Brexit veteran Nigel Farage’s Reform UK consistently ahead in the polls. Inflation has ticked up. Unpopular tax rises loom. Starmer’s backbenchers are nervous about planned welfare cuts and reforms for children with special needs. And migrants keep arriving on small boats across the English Channel.” {link}
In France, Emmanuel Macron is in the worst political shape of his tenuous career. Another no confidence manuever has backfired against the current French government. “In an Ifop poll conducted after [Prime Minister] Bayrou’s address, 63 percent of respondents said they were in favor of going back to the ballot box, with that figure getting to 86 percent among National Rally voters.” {link} The issues around French politics are now too vast for the Ukraine effort to hide them.
Within Germany things are not much better. The economy is contracting, and Chancellor Merz is in the dubious position of cutting subsidy benefits in order to address the problem. “During Sunday’s interview Merz defended his coalition’s historic decision to loosen the debt brake on defense spending — made possible by an unexpected U-turn by Merz’s conservatives right after the election — and even went so far as to link it to NATO’s survival. “We were essentially able to preserve NATO with our decision,” he said.” {link}
Germans are very particular about their economic position. When the core of the industrial economy is threatened, the German people focus on nothing else. The German industrial economy is part of their EU identity; it is simply their priority. All things Ukraine become something ‘less than’, in the face of these economic challenges.
Subsequently, this so-called “coalition of the willing” is not very willing to advance the security interests of Ukraine against the background of their domestic politics which has suffered as a result of the distraction; enter U.S. President Donald Trump.
President Trump has stepped back from trying to stimulate Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin to come to terms. In fact, President Trump has indicated they just may need to fight more, to ultimately get to a point where their interests are in a more desperate position. As noted by Trump, “maybe they have to fight a little longer. You know, just keep fighting. — stupidly, keep fighting.”
A tactical retreat by President Trump is what the majority of the American people support. A tactical retreat also allows Russian Federation President Putin to complete his larger goals and bring Zelenskyy to the point where he concedes defeat and requests a ceasefire.
The withdrawal of U.S. support would mean, the “coalition of the willing” would need to stand stronger in the front of the security guarantee issue. Considering the domestic issues of the U.K, France and Germany, more forward leaning just doesn’t seem at all likely.
Thus, German Chancellor Fredrich Merz now saying he views Ukraine as a long war.
BERLIN — German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said he is mentally preparing for a long war in Ukraine — but wouldn’t be drawn on whether Berlin will deploy peacekeeping troops should there be a ceasefire.
In a televised interview on Sunday, he also said that if he hadn’t decided to alter Germany’s debt rules to allow it to massively invest in defense, the NATO alliance would probably have disintegrated in June.
“I’m mentally preparing myself for the fact that this war could drag on for a long time,” he told ZDF when asked if he was hopeful that a ceasefire could be reached next year. “We’re trying to end it as quickly as possible, but certainly not at the price of Ukraine’s capitulation.” (read more)
The U.K, France and Germany are not going to do more without President Trump forcefully requiring it. President Trump does not appear motivated to force the “coalition” to do anything. In fact, there is a solid argument that if everybody just did nothing, the Ukraine war would end sooner. Russia would win – ultimately, with less bloodshed.
Europe and NATO can continue pretending in order to give the best impression to the bankers. Or the leaders of Europe and NATO could just tell the high-finance pretenders, they need to cut their losses – the pretense is over and fall back to their remaining pawn on the chessboard, Moldova.
(AP) – […] France’s President Emmanuel Macron, Germany’s Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk arrived in the capital of the European Union-candidate country for talks with pro-Western Moldovan President Maia Sandu.
[…] Cristian Cantir, a Moldovan associate professor of international relations at Oakland University, told The Associated Press that “most Moldovans understand that the visit is essentially a show of support for Moldova’s pro-European path.”
“There really is no other kind of viable pro-European or pro-Western party,” he said, adding that if PAS fails to win a majority, “things get very complicated because every other party is not as pro-European, and is much more committed to reconciliation or some sort of rapprochement with Russia.” (more)
Given the nature of how tenuous the ‘coalition of the willing’ stands politically, if Maia Sandu’s PAS party loses the parliamentary elections, the EU/NATO political effort against Russia essentially collapses.
Amazingly we are right back to where we were three years ago. WATCH MOLDOVA!

Their cash cow must be kept alive by ANY means necessary.
Pure Evil.
End the cash cow. Replace NATO with a U.S. led hemispheric defense treaty. With great will and planning, we can get everything we need in the Americas without China.
Get out of EU, get out of the Middle East. Prioritize regional security in the Americas while reducing the financial and military burdens associated with global commitments.
Fortress America. Manufacturing fortress, economic fortress and military defense fortress.
Brilliant!
The path of hemisperic focus is probably why WSJ and other golobalist entities are totally against the US pressure on Venezuala and Panama and Greenland (and Alaska) as well as overall US antipathy towards Canada and Mexico.
As the metaphor goes: put together the pieces of the puzzle that make the portrait (of the man) whole and the whole picture becomes very clear. In this case the “man” is our own backyard and the world situation will fall in line as we take the time and effort to tend to our own backyard.
Except Trump doesn’t seem to hold your view. He seems to support the US as the ‘indispensable nation’.
Don’t say get out of the Middle East unless you include Israel. If we’re involved with Israel then we’re in the Middle East to our necks. Based on the demographics of our nation, getting out of the ME should come before getting out of the EU. Just saying
Israel is in the ME and of course Israel is included. U.S. only loses when we get involved with Israel and Islam.
America First!
the #1 stated goal on the georgia guidestones is to eliminate 7.5 billion people from the planet to bring the world’s population to 500m
since war and k*lling advance their #1 goal, ‘those who cannot be named’ are ecstatic
sure, war pays them well, but fooled be not
EVERYTHING AND EVERY POLICY ‘THOSE WHO CANNOT BE NAMED’ ARE PUSHING WORLDWIDE IS FIRST AND FOREMOST TO UNALIVE AS MANY OF US AS POSSIBLE
since they own the money printing presses, the money is nitbing more than icing
unaliving is their ultimate mission
once you see these strings, their every move makes perfect sense
It was very interesting – to anyone observing – the entire story of the Georgia Guidestones – the mystery of who paid for the project – who attended the ceremony of the burying of the time capsule or whatever it was that they called it – and then the destruction of the entire thing and that the FBI was purportedly investigating the matter but we never received a report!
the guidestones clearly and unambiguously telegraphed their agenda, sue, were incriminating and therfore had to be disappeared
folks will oftentimes tell you exactly who they are
it’s foolish not to believe them when they do
The people better wise up and rise up. Otherwise let them face the Russian Federation.
I WILL NOT FIGHT IN THAT WAR. MY KID WONT FIGHT IN THAT WAR. AND ILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO STOP ALL FROM FIGHTING IN THAT WAR.
Outside chance I’d actually join if we were going after the euro trash though. Scum bags
“Chancellor Fredrich Merz Says He’s Now Planning for a Long War in Ukraine”
How’s that quote go? Something about: “The best laid plans………..”
Germany. What else should we have expected.
Russia should stop selling oil and gas to Europe. Germany would collapse.
You bet…Fire up the German marching music….
The “Horst Wessel Lied” anyone?
The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.
Gang aft agley
Exactly.
Does it make for a perfect metaphor regarding Ukraine, where mice are trying to make war against men?
Figured that was coming when he told Trump that a cease fire was needed.
He can lead the charge into battle!
He wants to fight till the last Ukrainian is dead!
A Fifth Reich
–“How’s that quote go? Something about: “The best laid plans………..”–
I believe it goes; “The best laid plans of man are often punched in the mouth by mice”, but my memory might be a wee bit off!
<smiles>
Merz should not expect to be engaged in a long war. He should expect to be forced to live with a long defeat.
knew that from the fact they are training for the military. You don’t train to add to a waiting list. You train to enlist.
“You train to enlist.”
You train to engage.
thanks for the correction. Thought it didn’t sound right. Just meant you don’t train unless they plan to use you.
Street slang goes something like: “Don’t start somethun’, won’t be somethun’.”
Exactly.
The training is in how to kill before you get killed
The last folks wanting war are those who have returned from battle.
Like the Saxon’s anger thing….when you have to return, you got nothing to loose.
Is Merz going to put his combat boots on and start shooting at Russians?
Or is he hoping the US does it for him?
@ L4Grasshopper
draft Merz and put him on the front line; the Ukrainian kerfuffle will come to a dead ahlt
Senator Graham can be his wingman.
German Chancellors and excessive psycho stimulant abuse.. Not a good track record..
Take a look at the list of concoctions that Theodor Morell used to pump into Hitler which probably made Der Führer even more unstable, not that Herr Schicklgruber was off at least a half a bubble to begin with and was probably suffering from tertiary syphillis late in life (Morell was an “expert” in vernereal diseases).
Vitamultin K.. back then.. Vitamultin Kokaine today
They’re just trying to make Trump look bad to erode popular opinion and thumb their noses at his power play. Lowers the public’s perception at his efficacy in resolving these wars of public opinion.
But do you know what else it does???? It reveals the players on the opposing teams and the devil they serve.
Never underestimate the devils insatiable need to reveal himself. Then crush him.
A slightly different view is that the EU weiners are facing the hard economic realities. With their cash cow US trading arraignments changing and the US hinting at pulling back from the NATO subsidies, the WEF Euro weiners tough talk is smacking them hard in the face
If we are done with Ukraine… can we please stop paying them in cash and weapons? Seems a Massie argument to congress.
We need to turn the cash faucet off on so many.
Congr.Massie…is right on this…..no $$$$$…..to kill Christians..
“With their cash cow US trading arraignments changing and the US hinting at pulling back from the NATO subsidies,………”
“The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money”
– Margaret Thatcher.
Patriots had better get a leg up on these Eurotrash tyrants before they get us all killed.
those tyrants …need real ppl revolutions…before they kill us all……..
that’s their #1 goal
getting us all k*lled
and top of their list is the harder to control fairer skinned variety
and that’s precisely who’s perishing in the uke meat grinder
AdRem, I cannot type email addresses, apparently..
The degeneracy of the globalists is something to behold.
MERZNERTS
Nerz to Merz.
That’s the ticket! 🙂
More people need to know about nerts!
My Mom who is going to be 97 years old this month knows about nerts and she had been educating the younger generations in our family!
My Mom will be 96 in September..a teacher and librarian when she was working. Still sharp as a tack !
NUTS!
He may want a long war but most Germans probably do not support him nor many in other EU countries and the UK.
How can he even talk about a long war when no single European country has declared war against Russia?
if they don’t support this, why do they keep consenting to be governed?
Why do you assume their elections are not rigged like they try to do here?
the questions still stands. as it did here.
Fear of being called fascist, racist, Trump suporter, Putin suporter, antivaxer, whatever the feared label is at the moment, virtue signaling is so engraved in the culture that nobody notice how it clouds and blocks critical thinking. This applies to most EU citizens
On a good day Germany might be able to field two infantry divisions. They have had no combat experience since the fall of Berlin in 1945. Support roles in Desert Storm and later Middle East fighting doesn’t count. The Russians on the other hand have had plenty of experience in Afghanistan, Chechnya and now Ukraine. They have many battle hardened divisions. It would be men against boys. Merz may not get it, but I think most Germans do.
i do believe that in the early 2000s the famed Luftwaffe(sp?) had twelve functional fighters that were ready to fly
Impressive (sarc)!
Probably a collection of outdated Phantom IIs and Tornadoes.
They are a joke.
Eurofighter Typhoon
Role: Multirole fighterNumber: Approximately 141 aircraftDetails: The Luftwaffe operates three tranches (T1, T2, T3) of the Eurofighter Typhoon, with Tranche 2 being the most numerous (around 79 airframes). These aircraft are used for air superiority, ground attack, and reconnaissance missions. However, reports indicate that not all are combat-ready due to maintenance issues, with only about 39 of 128 reported as combat-ready in 2018, though readiness has reportedly improved since then. Plans to order additional Typhoons (up to 180 total) are in place, which may increase this number in the future.Panavia Tornado IDS
Role: Strike aircraft (Interdictor/Strike)Number: Approximately 82 aircraftDetails: The Tornado IDS is used for ground attack and reconnaissance, with some equipped with pods for reconnaissance missions (Recce sub-variant). The fleet is aging, and plans to reduce thenumber to around 85 have been mentioned as part of replacing older aircraft like the F-4 Phantom.
Panavia Tornado ECR
Role: Electronic warfare and Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD)Number: Approximately 31 aircraftDetails: Specialized for electronic combat and SEAD missions, these aircraft are equipped with advanced avionics and weaponry like HARM missiles for anti-radar roles.Total Inventory
Total Active Aircraft: Approximately 641 aircraft across all types (fixed-wing and rotary-wing)Note: This number includes both Luftwaffe and Marineflieger aircraft, but readiness rates vary. For instance, in 2014, around half of the Eurofighters and Tornados were reported as unserviceable, though improvements have been made since then.Additional Notes
Readiness Issues: Historical reports (e.g., 2014 and 2018) highlighted significant maintenance challenges, with only a portion of aircraft like the Eurofighter and Tornado being combat-ready. While the situation has reportedly improved, exact current readiness rates are classified or not publicly detailed.Procurement Plans: The Luftwaffe is modernizing its fleet, with plans to acquire more Eurofighters and potentially other aircraft (e.g., for nuclear deterrence and close air support roles) as part of the NNbS program. The F-4 Phantom is no longer in service, and the Tornado fleet is expected to be further reduced.
–“How can he even talk about a long war when no single European country has declared war against Russia?”–
Shucks, did even Ukraine ever officially declare war against Russia?
Sacre bleu! Where is Samantha Powers & USAID when they need her?
She probably has other sources of money available……
Conferring this very minute with the very lovely Victoria Nuland. Trading beauty tips,of course. Meow. (Sorry, Mom)
Well, can we please let the Europeans fight their own war this time; just US, say No. Just once please. Stay out of it, and maybe the other ‘world powers’, the Chinese, the Mohammedans, etc. will also stay out and let Europeans finally decide their own fates and leave the rest of the world alone. Just once for curiosity’s sake.
I agree with you but there is just too much money to make in war. The hard part is getting all of us hating on the opponent and getting our patriotism to overrule our common sense.
They’re so desperate to kill off all the viable remaining white men so that Islam can take over. The antichrist is adjacent to the Islamic end of the world savior figure. No coincidence.
Umm, remaining people of the world are supposed to like this character. A Syrian Jew. At this point in time I don’t see how that is possible.
Mull over this: The last known enclave of people that speak Aramaic live in a remote section of Syria. 🤔
agreed. i keep seeing these declarations that the scheme behind immigration is to use them to build an army.
but we all know damned well that it is not the immigrants they will send off to be their bankster cannon fodder.
[ “agreed. i keep seeing these declarations that the scheme behind immigration is to use them to build an army.

imho,
with no help from years of the great pretender$ of diversity, inclusion, equity (die),
if illegals went to be sent to the front lines, there would be a resistance on their homeland, that they already fear, bigly …
(shown by their double standard application of laws, no go zones etc….migrant people get a pass for assault(s) etc., and natives get a heavy burden if resist… )
imho
your comment hits the nail straight on the head and a breath of fresh air, Lara
bless you for your clarity of understanding
Be sober, and watch. For your adversary, the devil, walks about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
1 Peter 5:8
European elites invite third world migrants, largely military age men, into their borders in the name of progressive multiculturalism. The migrants then attack the native population because their culture tells them Europeans are cattle to be farmed. Whenever a European dares to speak up or defend themselves, they are slapped down by officials or arrested. The population slowly becomes apathetic, passive and easier to control because they have no recourse but silence. The possibility of a revolution, given the outregeous accumulation of wealth by such elites is not longer feared.
US out of NATO. These people are evil. Do not sell them weaponry. Make them pay to keep it going and pull any US support out of that place. Including Starlink.
They were never serious and they are tyrants in their own countries.
They are no longer allies. They just USE America. Sanction these fools too.
agreed.
“President Trump has stepped back”
no he hasn’t. NO WEAPONS, NO INTEL, and NO MONEY would be stepping back. until then we keep wanting to have it both ways. WE ARE THE OTHER PARTY to this conflict until that happens.
24 hours my butt.
US can’t get out of NATO even if President Trump wants it, because Biden signed a bill giving away the power back to Senate.
Maybe the “Auto-pen” signed it.
Is bho directed it to this act ????
..is bho who directed him to this act ???
In the SCO meeting in CHINA..they see what’s going on in the EU/USA/CANADA/AUSTRALIA….. they establish own development bank to not be depend on western banksters and in the process gradually to stop trading with $$$…I got all my sympathy with Dr.Navarro but he is wrong regard tariffs to be impose on India because of trading with Russia{oil)…we de facto did bring INDIA/CHINA/RUSSIA together…..
Sanctions on India is one of the five really major errors by the Trump Admin thus far. He’s had a lot of success and I tip my hat to the Don, but the booboos have been some biggies. The sanctions on Brazil and India are on that list and endanger the entire tariff regime when they come to be argued again in a courtroom. Pushing Brazil and India into China’s arms was additionally a massive own goal, geopolitically.
The American people should not provide one more dime; NOT ONE MORE PENNY.
End Nato which is nothing more than a parasite.
Oh LORD of Heaven and earth, please help us get out of this now.
Excuse me Freddy, but it was your Angela Merkel who opened the door to
“migrants” who are actually Islamists who bring crime and chaos. Your economy is being mangled by your own ruination of Europe!
Sorry Freddy but your continuing support of a war which has killed hundreds of thousands shows what a moronic imbecile you are.
To be precise…war killed so far 1.73 millions on ukr.side not just hundreds of thousands Freepetta(after someone hack to defense dept. 404 country last month…saaaaad
The malign EU and GB house of cards is wobbly. One puff and it will fall.
The UK is on the verge of implosion, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the situation is not the same in countries on the continent.
The most chilling comment I have read so far was from a man who observed that there were people who were afraid that Britain would collapse into civil war.
Then he added, “My fear is that it won’t.”
I understood him perfectly.
Desperate elites like Merz, Macron, and the despot Marxist Starmer have been busy laying the kindling, piling it higher and higher in their own countries, never mind Ukraine.
One match…that’s all it will take.
And it won’t be struck by President Putin.
Betsy..we can only hope and pray …..there will be ppl revolution as we seen in the Romania around Christmas 1989….this warmongers must be stop…
I remember it, dear sejmon….
I don’t know how much worse it has to get.
I swear there are times when it seems a portal has been opened and, like Pandora’s box, demons have been unleashed on Western civilization, such as it remains.
Just returned, Germany is fragile, folks worry, Austria better, Hungary calm and a delight.
Statues, in place, telling the story of the last thousand years. Citizens calm, it felt free. The horses were great!
Where is Robert E Lee?
My understanding is that Austria has problems, taspok, which are growing daily. And Switzerland. No more “neutrality” for them.
As for Hungary, by all accounts, yours included, it is exactly as you describe it. So far Orban has managed to hold the wretched EU, which has been trying to make Hungary throw their borders open to the same Islamic infestation which have overwhelmed other countries, at bay. Almost the last redoubt.
There is no question that the EU hierarchy is as much an enemy of Christendom as the invader they’ve invited in.
I have a great fondness for the music of Hungary. So many brilliant conductors, too…Szell, Solti, Ormandy, Doráti, to name a few.
Welcome home, dear you…I’m very pleased that you enjoyed your trip and have safely returned😊
I have a great fondness for Hungarian food: Paprikás csirke, gulyás, kolbász, lángos, rétes… 😁 (My paternal grandmother was Magyar).
I’d come back twenty pounds heavier 😎
Gained 8. The food was great. Paprika awesome.
Horses! Almost as good as rodeo, bit no barrel girls.
Stop it!!!!! 😂
I approve of this post! <smiles>
Course ‘truth in advertising’, I’m a full born and bred American and my screen name is only due to my hobby of breeding and naturally crossing pepper varieties to develop new tasty pepper varieties.
But I do use a lot of Hungarian peppers in my crosses like Beaver Dam, Boldog, and many other ‘paprikas’ originally from Hungary.
..everyone should try their food..hmmm delicious
Thank you, good to be back in the USA.
Betsy…you must love Hungarian folk music….csardasz(spell) it goes well with wine and goulash…
langos..
Oh I do, sejmon…all European music especially at Christmas. Glorious, sublime..we don’t hear enough of it here alas.
But with Hungarian music, for me there is something so life affirming about it.
Good food, maybe I’d have a small glass of wine, music, and friends. Can’t think of anything more uplifting.
…and dancing in their native costumes.
I lived for a couple of decades in the Welsh town of Langollen which every year hosts the International Eisteddfod, a competition and celebration of music and dance from around the globe. There is a parade of nations which takes place on the first day of a week long celebration. Each nation represented maoes its way down the main street in their costumes, as they do for the Olympics.
The colours, the intricate work which goes into each one, and best of all the smiles and friendly faces, even if there is a language barrier. That doesn’t somehow matter. I remember the choir and the dancers which came from Hungary and other eastern European nations. Once seen…and heard…never forgotten.
This was all before Europe was deliberately turned inside out by people like Merz, Macron, Von der Leyen, Merkel et al. They’ve all tried to obliterate each country’s national symbols, history, currency (they succeeded with that one, save for Britain), and pride…for a uniform soulless identity.
The irony, which I’ve seen no one speak of, is that now they all scream for “Diversity, the Holy Grail!!”
Not a shame, but a terrible tragedy.
“There is no question that the EU hierarchy is as much an enemy of Christendom as the invader they’ve invited in.”
YES
Resting in Lexington Virginia… Save your Dixie Cups.
“Watch Moldova”… I do not want to watch Moldova. I want out of the Ukraine now. Without our money and weapons, the war will end. If Europe wants to make it a long war, DO IT ON THEIR MONEY not on our money. President Trump please get us out today.
ZH had an article today that France’s Unfunded Pension Liabilities are 400% of GDP. France has to want war to kill off much of those Liabilities. President Trump please get us out of Europe. NOW.
“Without our money and weapons, the war will end.”
CORRECT. and yet still we are sending it….
Congress
In Von Der Leyen’s press conference the other day, with the Bulgarian leader, she speaks English, he speaks in his native tongue so have no idea what he said, but at the 16 minute mark she purposefully mentions to keep an eye on ‘what is going on in Moldova.’
Sundance is right, ‘watch Moldova’,
my question is, is that the place most likely the next color revolution that is scheduled to spark Europe’s much needed WWIII to keep their restless natives from turning on their ‘dear leaders’?
likely so, IMO.
War would make their pension liabilities worse. France isn’t going to be sending retirees into Rump Ukraine. They’ll be sending (and paying for) the young workers they need to pay the retirees benefits, enlarging the Ponzi.
France is losing control of their African “ex-colonies” Uranium, which apparently was adquired at extremely low prices.
Energy production in France was very cheap, due to their extensive network of nuclear plants. Similar to that secret ingredient of the “German economic miracke”, the cheap Russian oil. And they arrogantly called the poorer Southern European countries the PIGS, which were scrapping by without an afordable energy source …
Now, those treacherous leaders are preparing the dumbed down native Europeans to protect EU elites wealth with their own blood, literally. Rabid warmongers, send your own children to the Russian meatgrinder and leave the rest of alone!!!
PDT please, please, take the USA out of that abomination of a war that is the Ukranian war!!!
Unfortunately I don’t think that Trumps comments point to a withdrawal of US support for Ukraine. He (and the US government in general) acts as if we are just disinterested bystanders to this war when in reality we are very active participants in it. One way to end the war very quickly would be for the US to walk away from it. But for some reason which nobody talks about, that option seems not to be on the table.
Keep in mind that the last time Trump just temporarily paused some aid to Ukraine, he was impeached for doing so. Congress is not going to allow him to cut off the massive flood of money and material and intelligence we are currently supplying to Ukraine.
Congress is an illegitimate leach on our society, agreed, but stop placing this on them until the person whose job it is STEPS UP. Trump must stop the madness. and then if and when Congress tries to go around him, trump must make it OUR JOB – the PEOPLE who are supposedly represented by these scumbags, to stop it, one way or another.
Don’t lose sight of the Big Picture – Trump NEEDS Congressional cooperation in order to get a lot of things done.
If he shuts off their money laundering operation in Ukraine (already shut off USAID), the remainder of his term is dead in the water.
Plus, we don’t know what he already agreed to in order to get the BBB through. If he did enter such agreements, he Will, honor them.
..hmmm ……..because of project Greater Jerusalem/Israel there ????? hmmm by own Z words years ago….wander is this a real reason why VSGPDJT can not stop this war ?????????
Good lord, not again. 🤦♂️
OK….where it hurts ….???
Neither Starmer nor the effete Mr. Macron are exactly experiencing stable political footing these days. So there’s that.
If you know anything about European history: “Beware G-E-R-M-A-N-Y.”
These people lust for “grand European wars,” but none of them remember for more than one generation what such things actually cost. Only the Russians do, with their somber “Victory Day” celebrations in which everyone (including Putin …) brings black-and-white photographs of ancestors lost.
These Europeans thirst to re-create “World War Three,” and to latch the far-away United States into fighting it for them. If the “Ukraine proxy” operation has now failed, they lust for open conflict. And yet, they don’t want to be the ones to actually fight it.
Our only faint hope is that Europeans can finally assemble the “stones” to measurably oppose their so-called “leaders.” Because you can be extremely sure that all of those people have very carefully planned their escape strategies.
Germany= 3rd nation in the world by GDP. #2 for gold reserves. Let the Germans pay.
Not really Russians dumped them to fifth place last year….!!!!! sorry you are wrong on Aurum too….
All this people know how to do is play the pretend game. Now that real leadership is required, they are lost.
Great Britain, France and Germany, combined, have a GDP over 5 times that of Russia – so they ‘should’ be able to afford a long war if that’s what Putin wants.
They lack cajones.
Yes, Indeedy! <to echo the words of LP1>
Okay Dokey, Bob, so who exactly has officially declared that they are at war with whom? Russia hasn’t; Ukraine hasn’t; GB hasn’t; France hasn’t; Germany hasn’t; Nato hasn’t; the EU hasn’t; the UN hasn’t; the US Congress hasn’t.
So, officially and legally, just what war are all these ‘entities’ making noise about? All talk about it, but none actually declare it.
Why is that, do you reckon?
Human life has no value to these moronic “leaders”.. The minute the U.N., NATO and the EU get involved in anything it immediately become the first step into disaster for human beings.
But there is no war in Ukraine. It’s a fake globalist manufactured crisis inspired by the success of their other fake crisis called the ‘War On Covid’ except that faking a isolated foreign war is much easier to manage.
The New Normal
Unless we can start asking the right questions and stop it.
cmon guys, Snap Out Of It
Absolutely. We read about the degenerate Roman Emperors and we marvell. How come people put up with it? How come nobody did anything, something?
We are living historic times and now we know.
We have always been at war with East Asia.
Or is it — We’ve always been sexually assaulting our piano when we’re not sexually assaulting our guitar?
‘The times, they are confusing’, eh?
The so-called coalition of the “Willing”, always seem to maneuver themselves behind those who will actually be “Doing”.
Funny that
Try to remember who currently controls the false narratives. When Trump began loudly advertising the number of soldiers killed every week as a tool to end the fake war, from 2,500 to 5,000 and now 7000 per week, that is when the media stopped doing the same.
The media used this (above) emotionally driven narrative initially to establish some validity to the fake war as the hoax was rolled out and they needed to persuade the public. Now that Trump is using their own narrative against them to put an end the fake war, the media doesnt mention it anymore. funny that
I start to say that France, Britain and Germany aren’t very good at choosing their politicians and then the name Obama pops into my head and I hold my tongue.
What a dummkopf! German pragmatism and ingenuity is no more. Welcome to mediocrity.
It’s a classic totalitarian tactic to distract the population from their own problems with an external crisis. The mullahs in Iran have survived this long by pointing at the Great Satan. The Kim dynasty maintains control of North Korea by pointing south, and at us. The socialists scream about PDJT47 instead of addressing their absolute dismal situations. They all learned this on Day One of Dictator School.
How does Merz define “a long time?” The Russian Special Military Operation has been ongoing for almost four years. Isn’t that long enough?
It wouldn’t surprise me if we learn that the euroweenies are trying to prolong the war in hopes that American midterm elections result in a socialist House and maybe a socialist Senate to pry open the money spigots.
I read a blog post that said it is becoming clear that the Russians are content to proceed slowly to maximize Uke casualties even though they could probably break through Uke defenses pretty easily. I don’t know if this is true, but it seems like a sensible possibility.
That photograph is what you call unchecked governance. Their club consists of their judiciaries, and their police forces are no doubt of an employment guarantee that makes them storm troopers when called upon to suppress citizen action.
They are not free nations; they are police states with PR.
Ueah, military visible on the streets is a deterent, but it’s still a bad look…..anywhere.
“A tactical retreat by President Trump is what the majority of the American people support. “
Americans are just not that into retreating. Washing ones hands of something, now that may be a very different matter. (A tactical retreat is not the best marketing.)
“We’re not holding anything. Let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly and we’re not interested in holding onto anything — except the enemy. We’re going to hold onto him by the nose, and we’re gonna kick him in the ass. We’re gonna kick the hell out of him all the time, and we’re gonna go through him like crap through a goose!”
Let Power return to the People; then confiscate all the so-called “billionaires” for their share! Enough already!
The US started this war in 2014 by overthrowing Ukraine’s president and killing the ethnic Russians in Eastern Ukraine. We can stop it by removing all weapons, money, intelligence from Ukraine. They would have to surrender.
I do not envy any of these leaders. The globalists who are their bosses have arranged things so that their economies will collapse, and the globalists themselves hope to be hidden from the public while these leaders are going to be the face of failure.
No matter what, the globalist plan for Europe being what it is, it cannot succeed unless a totalitarian government is arranged in each and every country, and from which there is no escape. Short of setting that trap up for the people of Europe, these globalist led countries will fail, one after another.
Conservative leaders they can call them populist, but basically people with conservative policies are going to be popular because the people want to get rid of the policies the globalists have put in place and that have failed miserably.
I think if conservative leaders can get rid of the stranglehold of the globalists, deport all migrants back to their home countries, Europe has a bright future. If globalists stay in power, it looks ominous and ugly from here on. I’m going to hope for the best.
Trust the WEF.
World Economic Failure.
“In fact, there is a solid argument that if everybody just did nothing, the Ukraine war would end sooner. Russia would win – ultimately, with less bloodshed.”
Perhaps with ultimately less bloodshed, but for the people of Ukraine far more bondage, subjugation, yoke, vassalage, serfdom and obedience.
It would be like living as the people of a captive nation in the USSR. Perhaps even worse this time.

Your August 28 article- ‘Leaders… converge on Moldova…. Led me to search : ‘Watch for Moldova’. as a refresher course.
Nine articles were drawn. The earliest 3-20-22 : “Keep an eye on Moldova.” the latest 8-28 :”We’ll keep watching!” and today: “WATCH MOLDOVA”.
Superb collection.
Par excellence in all you do Sundance!
I don’t understand why these countries talk about cutting benefits to this disabled group and that. Why don’t they keep those welfare payments and cut the ones to the migrants? It’d be more popular and would perhaps both stem the tide of migrants coming in and probably see them start leaving.
Where these days, are the war pig ladies, Vindman and Power?
These economies are in more than deep trouble. Rumors started last week that all three may be exploring IMF bailouts.
Think about that for a second: the United Kingdom, Germany, and France are all simultaneously facing economic collapse.
If things look bad now, wait until all those migrants in London, Berlin, and Paris are competing for resources with British, German, and French citizens in an austerity program.
An explosive situation in the making.
And they were arrogantly calling the poorer struggling EU countries the PIGS. LOL, well deserved except that those so call PIGS did NOT call for a war with Russia to solve their economic problems, evil ghouls.
Evidently, the entire combined EU/NATO armed forces can not muster enough troops to cover more than 30% of the required manpower for the supposed “security guarantee” that Ukraine wants.
Maybe Trump was allowing the absurdity of the “security guarantee” to proceed knowing that it would fail in the light of day.
BTW, analysis I have seen says that it would take 10 years to get the troops, etc in place to sustain a permanent operation.
So, Armchair CopeLord is really Tyler Weaver? What a complete clown
Simply put, these ‘so-called’ EU leaders are ..!RETARDS!
Germany will show they’re serious when:
– they increase their trained military
– they restart nuclear power plants
– they deport illegal immigrants in large numbers
The long shot?
– produce incentives, tax cuts, subsidies, and PR, to up their native birth rate
President Trump chose the wrong side. He can’t be sitting on the fence.
Just wait until Euro kids have to go into combat while The Guests retain their privileges.
These globalist monsters always have a Plan B. They can spill Moldovan blood just as easily as Ukrainian blood. So long as the money gets laundered and they get paid, it’s all good.
They will not escape justice. At a time of His choosing Almighty God will pronounce judgement and these cretins will burn.
China (Xi), Russia (Putin) and India (Modi): The Anti-America Axis.
We push them to be together….
