President Trump called into Fox & Friends show this morning to explains some of the details within the Ukraine Peace Summit held at the White House with President Zelenskyy and European leaders.
There’s some interesting insight into the urgency, held by President Trump, as he describes talking about the need to stop the killing now, not next week. President Trump notes he told the EU leadership, it is ridiculous to say meet again in a few days; thousands of people are dying each week. Trump told them they need to get into action tonight. In his generally off-the-cuff remarks, President Trump provides some remarkable insight into the status of current events.
When Zelenskyy and Putin meet, I hope they manage to remind each other that in early 2022 Zelensky was about to accept Putin’s peace offer, before Biden (actually Obama) stepped in and forbade it.
Two emissaries were sent: Boris Johnson and then Kamala Harris. I presume the ultimatum was that Z would get hundreds of billions (much of it at his personal disposal) if he agreed to let Ukraine become cannon fodder for a U.S. proxy war against Russia, vs. getting nothing if he refused.
If they can both agree now that Joebama’s bribe was evil (not Trumpian!) and that taking it was a big mistake, maybe they can agree to go back and take that 2022 peace deal as a baseline for what they might be able to agree to now.
It’s surprising to hear Trump say that the war really started when Obama let Russia take Crimea back in 2014. I say it started with the 2014 coup that Obama orchestrated against Russia-friendly Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych.
Putin’s response to this U.S. orchestrated coup on its border (and in the heart of the old Soviet Union) seems rather mild. Instead going ballistic, he offered to let the hostile western three quarters of the country go, so long as it doesn’t join NATO, and he would let most of the highly Russified eastern Ukrainian states become independent, so long as they don’t join NATO.
The only territory that Russia insisted on keeping for itself was Crimea, the warm water port that Russian Empress Catherine the Great wrested from the Ottoman Turks in 1783 (which is the reason she is called Katherine the Great).
My guess is that Trump is at least fully aware of all of this backstory (the 2014 coup, and Crimea really being Russian), but in his Art of the Deal mindset, he wants to talk up what a jewel Crimea is, and pretend that Russia has no claim to it, because that increases the value of the perceived concession by Ukraine when they agree to let Russia keep it.
Well, he’s the master, so he’s probably right. For the two warring leaders themselves, they need to remember where they were before Obama forced them to slaughter each other.
It might also help if they understood WHY Obama did this. It’s because Barack Hussein Obama is an actual member of the Muslim Brotherhood.
That’s according to the Brotherhood itself, who outed him in a frenzy of fury when, after spending his first four years installing the Brotherhood’s Morsi to power in Egypt, Obama refused to use the U.S. military to keep him in power when the Egyptian people, realizing what Obama had done to them, rose up in the biggest public protest in human history to demand Morsi’s ouster.
Obama was and is following Muhammad’s instruction for Muslims living among non-Muslims: that if they are in a position to play the double agent, they should lie about their religion and pretend to be non-Muslim themselves, the better to “turn them against each other, for war is deception.”
I believe that this hadith (one of the passed-down sayings of Muhammad) is from the “battle of the trench,” where in his first military confrontation with enemies who had allied against him, the secret convert who Muhammad instructed did succeed in “turning them against each other,” raising this hadith to become a key doctrine of Islamic warfare ever since.
In Ukraine “turning them against each other” means turning Christians against Christians. As much as Trump hates the terrible loss of life from this war, Obama loves it. He WANTS to see Christians killing Christians. It is the heart of his evil religion, and nothing more perfectly fits the jihadist goal than getting the world’s two greatest Christian powers to fight a proxy war over 100% Christian Ukraine.
All the more reason for Russia and Ukraine to go back to before Obama succeeded in forcing them to slaughter each other, and choose the path they were about to take before Obama blocked them.
The situation is obviously different now. Maybe independence for the four eastern Ukrainian states can’t work anymore, as these states are now divided by active battle lines.
I still think it is a great opportunity to try to create an ideal model of the sovereignty of the people (republicanism), maximizing first the sovereignty of each individual (maximum equal liberty), which would be crucial in a divided state. Half the population would likely end up entirely dependent on the state’s protection for minority rights, which all derive from protection for the rights of the minority of one: individual rights.
If independent states are off the table, then Russia and Ukraine have to divide the territory up between them. Still, the willingness to both go the independent states route in 2022 seems like a great starting point.
Just remember where you were guys, before the Islamofascist double agent duped you into slaughtering each other. Don’t give him any more of your people’s lives!
