Anyway, my main point in the reply I lost is that if Yosemite is merely frustated, he could disucss the issues instead of saying that not stopping the war is President Trump’s fault. He could, for example, disucss if making the EU pay for the weapons will cause them to think twice. Or he could discuss how if President Trump cuts off the funds directly, and if Putin takes all of Ukraine, would everyone blame President Trump and would that sink the midterms?
But Yosemite doesn’t do that. He just blames President Trump. So I do think Yosemtie has an agenda to undermine President Trump.

In reality, Trump does not want this war and wants to end it, but the EU thinks it is essential. Just last week, Trump and the EU announced that the EU will buy arms from the USA and give them to Ukraine. Important is that Europe is paying for them.
I see only the $$$ involved. More weapons, more money for the Military Industrial Complex. Surely their lobbyists had influence. I thought he said NATO would be paying. We pay into NATO, so we are still using taxpayer money to send weapons to Ukraine.
He said the other countries in NATO (specifically the EU) would be paying for them.
So in fact the money that NATO is paying for weapons is not going for other NATO purposes…..reality….we are stuck with other operational expenses. If that is not the case then NATO has a surplus of unneeded cash.

My 3 points are specifics that caused Putin to finally decide to invade. REally, if not for the NATO threat, I think he would have continued to put up with a lot of crap. NATO was the last straw… and it was Obama and Biden (with Nuland and the other demons) who set those wheels in motion. Their hate of Russia exceeds all moral decency… and they are willing to see hundreds of thousands die in their pursuit of Putin.

WASHINGTON — President Trump intends to meet with both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, orchestrating what would be the first sitdown between the warring leaders since Moscow launched its war on Kyiv in February 2022.
Trump, 79, informed European leaders of his plan in a call following special presidential envoy Steve Witkoff’s meeting with Putin at the Kremlin early Wednesday.
Neither belligerent has confirmed plans for any meeting, but Ukraine has been seeking a face-to-face with Putin for months.
Trump himself may meet one-on-one with Putin before the anticipated trilateral summit, which could take place later this month.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed Trump was willing to meet with both Putin and Zelensky, but did not specify whether the three would be together anytime soon.
“The Russians expressed their desire to meet with President Trump [during Witkoff’s visit], and the president is open to meeting with both President Putin and President Zelensky,” she said in a statement. “President Trump wants this brutal war to end.”
Past low-level discussions between Russian and Ukrainian officials have taken place in Turkey, though it was unclear Wednesday whether the NATO nation would be a site for three-way talks.

From the sound of his words, it seems like President Trump has already decided not to do that.
