The Musk, Thiel, Sacks, Andreeson et al operation cannot succeed without: (A) a distracted President Trump not seeing their schemes; and (B) without JD Vance, who they positioned for installation of their interests.
Watch JD Vance in this dynamic through the prism that Vance is on team “Tech Bros.” That will be a big tell.
Remember, ultimately the goal is for the removal of President Trump no matter what that takes; and yes, the billionaire tech bros are willing to use their financial resources to upend the 2026 midterm election in order to achieve their larger objective, control retention over policy.

My guess is this feud has more to do with the rumors that Musk seduced Stephen Miller’s wife who recently left her job at the White House to work for Musk. (Which might also explain Elon’s black eye.) This would have to seriously bring into question Musk’s integrity, loyalty, and respect, or lack thereof. This kind of promiscuity, coupled with the rumors of his ever growing drug use and lack of tact, we’re making Musk into a much bigger liability than an asset. While Trump tried to disengage from Musk, he chose to take the high road, still publicly praising Musk’s efforts, Musk did not. Which was stupid on Musk’s part. Not only does it show immaturity and a complete lack of class, it also tells me Musk is trying to discredit Trump because he is afraid Trump is going to tell everyone something bad about Elon that he recently discovered. You didn’t listen to Mike Johnson and Stephen Miller explain how these bills work. Senate rules prohibit discretionary spending cuts—which is virtually all of DOGE—only allowing for mandatory spending, so the reconciliation bill has to be passed, at which point the arcane Senate parliamentary rules can be bypassed when that bill is sent back for recissions that will cover the DOGE cuts. So, no, DOGE waste will not continue when the recissions are done.

There are no files “on Epstein” to be released. Everything “on Epstein” that was in criminal and civil investigation “files”, save for information on underage prostitutes has been released in court cases, and otherwise.
Epstein was an IC informant. The “sources and methods” files are likely scattered here and there — see SD’s article on “prohibited access” files — (if they even still exist).
As for the kompromat that Epstein collected, this stuff would be in the targeted individuals’ “files”, not under “Epstein”, the undisclosed CI.
As for anything that Epstein saved for his own protection or pleasure, this stuff was trashed when the FBI et al. cleaned out his various residences.

You are absolutely NOT overthinking this. All roads lead to Palantir as well as Open AI and other major players in this. There is no way this comes down to a pissing contest on EV rebates, etc. Did Elon lose out to Palantir? He had a war going on with Open AI. Is it like you said, a plot to pull Trump fully in?
And why is the world talking about spending and savings in BBB when the AI part of the bill is clearly the deep state’s biggest part of the package?

I have always had good thoughts of Elon, but my son did not. He apparently is very difficult to do business with. I guess I will have to revise my thoughts about Elon after this. His countenance is very ugly when angry. One could almost say evil looking.

With everything going on in the world right now, I am ready for the “tech bros” to fade into the background. I am much more interested in the Treason committed by Lindsey Graham, Dick Blumenthal and Mike Pompeo. Who is going to go after them for undermining the peace negotiations that President Trump has been working on?
And there’s the intrigue that Lindsey Graham seems over confident that he can get funding for Ukraine pushed through IN SPITE of the American tax payers wanting an END to the WAR and NOT ONE PENNY MORE FOR UKRAINE!
And then there’s President Putin the threat of retaliation – I would not shed a tear if he blew Kyiv off the map as long as Zelensky was in it! Actually, Zelensky can’t afford for peace to be agreed to, because there would be no excuse to not have elections, and a real Ukrainian government established.
And then there’s the BBB – and Congress dragging their feet and doing absolutely nothing as usual. And the Biden AutoPen investigation. I keep hoping we can get rid of KJB because she wasn’t properly nominated by Biden; but by Obama in charge of the Autopen; along with countless other major ISSUES that need President Trump’s full attention.
So, I’m over it. My only interest now is whether I should cancel my x account and ignore every post about Elon and his temper tantrum.
Why was Musk then so eager to have the President back in the WH in the first place? Helping Musk’s business prospects was only to be an indirect outcome of MAGA saving this Country.
It’s the height of selfishness and narcissism to cause this kind of public disruption for the President and for the Country with so much at stake and with everything else on President Trump’s plate. Musk is the opposite of a patriot. He doesn’t know the meaning of the word.
Musk was rolling his dollars into MAGA gambling that POTUS would gratefully spare his industry the loss of his EV tax write off, a condition which has outweighed any so-called “green” popularity.
Now, a sore loser, the mask over the face of Elon Musk has dropped.
Tech people have made way too much money, way too easily.
We’re witnessing first hand how this hasn’t been good for them.
I expect we paid for it too.
Before Tech people, there were Real Estate people who made way too much money, way too easily. I expect the one with the presidential title to act presidential.
Something just occurred to me. For reference, see Thomas Paine’s later spat with George Washington. I’m starting to see parallels. This “spat”, more of a tantrum similar to Musk at the moment, occurred as the French Revolution was gaining traction.

Musk doesn’t seem to know what kind of snake he is taking in. If the government that Trump detractors want becomes OUR government, Musk will be stripped of all his wealth &/or control of his ’empire’.
